Extremely pleased with these after my old ones broke. Light, don’t hurt my ears after hours of gaming and volume is just right. Only issue is that they don’t work with my old turtle beach volume controller which goes into the bottom of my xbox controller so can’t use that anymore.

Good sound, comfortable & from feed back the mic works well and the lift up mute works great.

Also not just for gaming, good all round headphones for music and watching movies.

Decent for a cheap headset at a mid volume anything higher distorts the sounds
Excellent sound quality however it is sometimes frustrating as the volume controller is very temperamental as it will either play sound through one ear and even a slight adjustment makes it play through just the other ear. It just takes five minutes to get it in exactly the right place but other than that it is brilliant and comfortable.
If your starting out in gaming or budget is a concern. This is the way to go.
This is a great headset for the money. Volume is high enough. Comfort is good. Mike seems good , but not used it much yet. All plastic, but no reason why this should be a problem if you treat it properly. You can also use to listen to nextflix,prime,apple tv.

While these haven’t been here too long, I can say that this headset has so far stood up to the abuse that my son has given it so far, it’s been dropped, kicked (accidentally) and genuinely mistreated despite my protestations, but still they continue to work great.

Comfortable and good sound
Wasn’t sure what to expect as these Turtle Beach headsets aren’t expensive – but we’re pleasantly surprised that they are comfortable to wear, look fairly sturdy and expensive and provide decent enough sound when in use.
Easy set up and mike folds away when not in use.

I have to say considering the price these are very good quality. Brought them for my nephew for Christmas to go with his PS5 and they work really well. Sound quality is really good. The microphone quality is very good, it doesn’t pick up much background noise. He uses them for streaming on YouTube and he’s very happy with them.

I had this now since October (it’s December now) for three months, it’s exceptionally comfortable, 6 hour gaming sessions and I do not get tired of wearing it so that’s great (if like me you’re used to terrible cheap ebay headsets) , my friends say the audio from the mic is pretty good, and the surround audio from the headset is pretty good, the only weakness is that I use a PowerA spectrum wired controller and some games really make the mic make weird noises, but with standard wireless headsets it’s perfectly good, would buy again, no problems with connectivity and has not broke

Headset is a good standard for the price paid. Decent sound and a good quality mic overall. However, when the volume is the highest possible level, one hear tends to cut out and doesn’t provide any sound which is disappointing. This isn’t too much of a problem it just means I have to use it at a lower volume. Another problem I’ve had is that according to other people listening to my mic, it creates a faint buzzing noises. This is a problem for many mics at this price range and personally I don’t find it too problematic. But overall, good headset and is definitely a great option for people wanting to spend under 30!

My sons delighted with it .Exactly what he wanted for his birthday works on his xbox and the new xbox .
Good all around headset in terms of comfort, functionality and usage. Bit disappointed with the quality of the sound as at the price point would expect a bit more.
Mute function is on the microphone (swing it up past ear to mute) which takes a bit getting used to but is good.
No complaints from others with regards to the mic quality which is essential for team play.

They lost a star in my book for the cable they use, which isnt a huge issue at all if you’re a console gamer. I am a PC gamer, which these headphones are marketed for (i.e. its in the product headline) and they don’t tell you that a splitter is required for their use on PC. The cable is quite short, so with my desktop PC on the ground I needed to get a cable extension. So that was two extra cables I needed to buy myself, just to use them.

Been using these in my pc for my work meetings during lockdown. When working can’t fault them however they’ve started to suffer the dreaded issue of one headphone cutting out if the wire is a certain way after 5 months. For me, that’s fine it was just a cheap solution, however these are sat on my desk all the time not being abused and this happened within 5 months, I can’t imagine then, that they would last long in a child/teens room when theyre putting them on and off playing games

I was just about to return this headset because I thought the mic wasn’t compatible with the Nintendo Switch for Fortnite in-game chat. It is, but you need to change your settings. Open Fortnite, then Settings, then Audio, check that Voice Chat is ‘on’, then select Voice Chat Method and ensure it’s ‘Open Mic’. Press the X button to Apply these changes. Power Off or Restart your Switch.
I don’t understand why there weren’t pairing instructions in the box; I had to find a YouTube video to help me.

When I was in search of a new headset, Turtle Beach came to mind quickly as I had previously had one of their headsets.
With the budget in mind, this headset had fit in perfectly, so I bought one quickly as I had just broken my previous headset.
When it had arrived, I was surprised by the small factor of the headset, not disappointed, just surprised. Even though the headphones fit perfectly, they are still small compared to the other headsets I’ve owned.(might want to look out for that)

When I was in search of a new headset, Turtle Beach came to mind quickly as I had previously had one of their headsets.
With the budget in mind, this headset had fit in perfectly, so I bought one quickly as I had just broken my previous headset.
When it had arrived, I was surprised by the small factor of the headset, not disappointed, just surprised. Even though the headphones fit perfectly, they are still small compared to the other headsets I’ve owned.(might want to look out for that)
After a few months of usage though, they still work amazing and I’ve had no problems with them so far.
I fully recommend these headphones with anyone who has a small budget in mind.

These are the first headsets my son has bought to use with his Nintendo switch. He loves them and tells me the sound is very clear and the mic is brilliant for talking to his friends on whilst playing online.
I bought these for my husband so I didn’t have to listen to his friends come through the tv when playing Fifa… they work…. I can no longer hear his friends talking about what the wife cooked them for dinner or jokes about Carole Baskin.
The downside is my husband has turned into an absolute fog horn!!! I have no idea why but he looses the ability to talk like a normal person when wearing these. He has to shout, extremely loud, so loud that the neighbours can hear. He assured me the headphones were not broken and it’s just him. He’s broken, If id bought him off amazon I’d 100% be requesting a refund.
Me and the neighbours have all come to learn that he is a terrible fifa player and swears a lot.

Turtle beach are a great brand for technology purchases! With my husband and 3 sons all loving to game, we have purchased multiple items for Xbox one and PS4.
This headset is brilliant and we would definitely recommend!
Not a lot to say tha these are amazing for the price! You can’t go wrong with them!
The headset is comfy but they do feel plasticy, at the moment they feel durable, but this is expected from Turtle Beach!
The cable of the headset is a silicone/plasticy design and there are 2 cables hanging from the headset sides whete you extend or close the headset sides which could be an issue. Futhermore the headset it great for gaming! I use them for my PS4 to chat with people and I have asked everyone of the quality of the mic and they have said that the quality is amazing and some have said they sound like an expensive mic/headset.
The mic also have a mute feature, but to do this you have to move the mic all the way back (you can see the image/instructions on how to mute the mic)
Overall these are amazing for the price range!

Purchased these for my boyfriend. They work absolutely fine. He likes them as they’re pretty noise cancelling so can’t hear me when he has them on! Wire is long and they are so comfy to wear. Good sound output and the microphone is in the perfect place.
Stopped working for Fortnite on Xbox. None of the fixes in their articles work, yet still strongly promoting this headset as great for Fortnite.
Assume they know there’s a problem as they are pumping out a lot of “fixes” for this issue on Twitter (again none of which have helped).
Also online support form doesn’t submit at the moment. Why not put up a message saying you aren’t accepting messages and save us the trouble of filling out a form only for the submit button not to work (tried in several different browsers too! what a waste of time!)
In short, don’t bother.
EDIT: Eventually got help from their support who were very helpful in getting them working. It was a fix that wasn’t in any of the online posts. I have increased the review score to reflect this.

Very happy with the deliveryman and the item..
Very happy with the item, also very happy with the delivery man who knocked on the door loud enough, as I was in the kitchen at the back of the house and my son heard him upstairs who also heard him.

Regards to the microphone. I found my recordings to be much clearer and crisper than they were with my previous headset. I’m not the loudest speaker and the microphone has no problems picking me up. It is also great when gaming on my PS4.

Great sound as with all Turtle Beach headsets.
Would have given it 5 stars but not as comfortable as my previous one, but I’ve got a chrome dome.
But for the money would highly recommend.

As a gamer I was tired of using different earphones all the time in my controller, friends moaning of voice eco and not being able to here myself properly but now my gaming experience is awesome no eco, i can now hear everything in game and everyone clearly

The headphones themselves are a little tighter than I generally like, but I hav quite a large head, so that’s more on me. Sound quality is good, and they block a fair amount of external noise too, reallyletting you hear what those teenagers online are saying about your parentage and skills at the current game.

I think you pay more for the name but them look good, and do what they say on the tin.

They plug straight into both controllers and work but to get these working to there full potential on PS4 they require the usb lead that plugs into the PS4. Luckily we still had the one that came with the older set.i have actually used them myself recently while I wait my own stealth 700s arriving to play the new Cod and I’m actually very surprised how good they are. With these not actually having the surround sound I could hear where players were coming from good enough I actually think the 700s will be a waste.if your a casual gamer I highly recommend these for the price they are 90 cheaper than the 700s and work great!!

Gave these to my 6 year old grandson and he loves them, he’s always breaking the mic on them but this one you can tuck away onto the side of the head set and it saves it from getting broken, he says the quality of them are really good, his friends can hear him clearly and he can hear them clearly too.
I bought these to replace my office Wireless Sony Gold headphones. This turtle beach headset connects directly to the control. Although you lose the surround sound trickery found with the Sony head set, I was hard pushed to tell the difference. The mic volume is much better and the quality of the sound was decent.
In short, for the money, this is great value.

Great for Fortnite on Switch
Easy to plug in, and my son has enjoyed chatting away to his friends whilst playing Fortnite on the Switch. They seem to cancel out all other noise as he plainly can’t hear me calling him for dinner, and has comical “I’M ON THE PHONE!!!” (if you’re of an age you’ll get the reference) moments as he shouts in his conversations!!
Bought for my Son to use with his Xbox. He loves them for online gaming with friends. The microphone being able to be moved out of the way is a good feature. They look good and my Son hasn’t complained about anything with them so far so win, win for me. They were a good price too.
