Firstly, I wouldn’t expect anyone would use this for rings or anything that is intended to hold a body that is moving around. This thing is SOLID but for that I would advise getting something that is certified and probably inspected.
That said, this thing will hold up anything that you could possible want to hold up from the heaviest punching bag to a pregnant Rhino. The clamps are solid metal, they weren’t fooling about when they made these and once clamped in place they shouldn’t go anywhere – I would use some strong loctite on the thread of the nuts myself or possibly replace them with nylock nuts but that’s me.
Bottom line, if you have an I-beam that you want to hang something from then this will do the job!
