I received this product in a small protective bag which easily fit in any backpack being very compact.I used this tarp at camping and works great if you want to have a nice 3×3 m of shadow and rain protection.I like that it is made from thick and waterproof material. In the bag you get 6 metallic pegs and 6 ropes for mounting the tarp.

    Very useful and sturdy tarp

This has been really good to use, I’ve used it outside the back door over to the garage when doing some wood cutting underneath, between the caravan and our van on holiday to avoid the get inside panic when it throws it down with 4 kids and all the gumph that goes with them m and also as a shelter under a tree or rather two trees in the park to give some shade.
It’s been waterproof without any noticeable leaking at all and it’s stayed strong in the seaside wind. The material is quite thin and it’s not at all heavy considering how big it is. You get a number of thin rope lines of different lengths (which took some untangling) and pegs to put in the ground.

I’d say it’s excellent value for money, tarps are very expensive and are normally not waterproof whereas this has the plastic feeling coating underneath that seals it all in.

    Very useful and highly recommended.

Since it rains a lot and I need a shelter from the rain in my garden, I chose this tent. The material of the tent is very strong, the size is large enough, it can effectively prevent the rain, and it shrinks and is small and easy to carry, suitable for camping.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI got this as my teenage son recently got himself a basic tent for going to several music festivals over the summer, and I thought this could provide him with a couple of options. One is it very big and could act as an extra groundsheet to go under his tent, or it could be used as an extra canopy.

The fabric used feels very good quality (it is quite heavy, which you should note if you are intending on a backpacking trekking camping adventure), but it is reassuringly heavy; I suspect this will be able to put up with most of the worst British weather. The tent pegs that come with it are of reasonable quality, as too are the guy lines. At 22.99 (at the time of review) for a 10 by 10 tarp with the pegs and lines, is very good value for money, and I can therefore highly recommend this to you.

    Versatile camping tarp

This is a reasonably priced, well made with strong anchor points on every corner and every mid point.
Waterproof tarp that can be used as a rainfly or shade or load cover, whatever you need today!
At just over 3mtrs x 3mtrs (10ft x 10ft) it is a very generous size and will do many jobs perfectly!
All the edges are well finished and the eyes are all reinforced, so even if exposed to wind as well as rain this should prevail. The underside is coated to make it rainproof and the colour (Black) makes it a very good light shade on a bright day, it also cant be seen through so will keep whatever is under it private.
It comes with an assortment of pegs and cords in its own storage bag (Good luck getting it back in after using it though!) I am keeping it in my car to use as needed and am happy that it is great value for money.
Happy to help, I hope I have! Have a nice day!

This is a really versatile tarp, useful for loads of things!

It can be pitched in loads of different ways making it perfect for use in the garden or camping!

It is stitched really well and is large and quite heavy, so it does need to be pitched thoroughly to ensure it stays up.

It dries well and quickly if it gets wet and stays up well.

I am pleased with it and will be using it over the course of the summer!

I’ve only been using this over a hammock in the back garden so far,but I’m sure we’ll find more uses for it on our next camping trip. It’s briliant over the hammock – shade from the sun and shelter from the rain. It also makes you feel a bit less exposed so you can happily have a little snooze, and if you angle it just right you’re a bit more hidden from view too so you’re less likely to be woken up to do something more important 🙂

It’s quite well made and very waterproof. Easily stands up to rain showers.

I think it’s probably a bit hefty to carry in a backpack so it’s more of a car based camping item.

Is very good material. 420d is much stronger than the other 210d and is more for endurance.
It feels a good quality for the price.

I will come with updates after i will use it in real environment.

We used this on the back of our van to keep the sun off and it was perfect for one of our days out. It is a nice size and comes with everything you need to set it up to keep it secure. Great for camping or as a temporary sun shade, good quality.

    Waterproof Camping Tarp from SUFTMUOL

    Waterproof

Compared to my other camping tarps, this product is heavier and has features you won’t see from other budget camping tarps, like the reflective edge strips, aluminum stakes, and back loops. It has 10 properly constructed metal rings that support the paracord. The metal rings are attached to the corner ties, which I prefer than integrated into the trap. And I am glad that the edges are sewn professionally clean. However, I am not a fan of its rubberised inner surface as it tends to get broken over time. And the aluminum stakes are too big for the metal loops.

Overall, it is truly waterproof and blocks a good amount of sunlight, but the rubberrised surface and aluminum stakes are just something that can be improved.

A camping tarp that’s sturdy and excellent for outdoor activities.
This tarp works well and is reasonably priced. It’s simple to use and set up, however I believe it should be lighter. It shielded me from the rain and wind, and it’s actually fairly robust and won’t move about, which is a nice thing. Also, the kit also includes a variety of pegs and rope to help with this.
The Camping Tent Tarp is 10 x10 feet in size, with eight anchor tie downs and a middle hand up loop in the center. It’s a terrific hiking backpacking hammock shelter, car side awnings canopy, and more with all these tie downs and hand up loops. Most outdoor recreational activities or garden/park leisure enjoyment can be accommodated by these two sizes. When enlarged, the room expands to 10 * 12 feet, accommodating 2-4 people.
Included in this set are 1 adventure camping tarp, 6 reflective nylon guy ropes (157 inches/ 4 M), 6 aluminum tent pegs, 1 pouch for ropes & pegs storage, and 1 carrying bag for all gears.
Overall, it’s an excellent help for outdoor activities and the quality is shown through its sturdiness. For 22.99, I think it’s worth it. I would recommend this to my friends.

A very generous size and very lightweight. A good alternative to a tent for summer adventures or with a bivvy bag. Also ideal for protecting things from the rain – kit bags, bikes, etc. Everything you need fits in the bag. A useful product which seems well made and should last.

This tarp is heavy duty and made to withstand string winds, snow, waterproof and uv resistant. In the carry bag you get the tarp, 6 reflective ropes, 6 tent pegs and and a storage pouch. So many uses – car shade, sun shade, beach matt or picnic blanket or camping shade…portable and durable and excellent quality.

    Very lightweight and versatile!

I have a friend who is going hammock camping and is in need of a good sturdy Tarpaulin which this is. The fabric is thick and has been stitched very well.
You get guy lines plus stakes and poles to help with setting up and keeping it there.
Overall I think this is an excellent tarpaulin for the money.

I have been using this tarp in mixed weather – rain, drizzle and hot sunshine and throughout all conditions it has performed well as a general outdoor shelter or improvised awning on my ‘micro-camper’ camping car.

The tarp is very well made, strongly-stitched, medium-duty with a tough upper side made from 420D Rip-stop Oxford fabric designed to endure the British climate, and is backed by a waterproof coating on the underside. Design is good with strong webbing tie-down straps with aluminium loops to each corner and half-way along each side providing 8 securing points ensuring it doesn’t flap in a breeze. Reflective guy lines, tension adjusters and aluminium pegs are included but no poles although these can be readily purchased from any camping store.

I experimented with using it with our poles to make a shelter (excellent), forming a canopy over my Berlingo car’s rear hatch but have mostly used it as a side awning, tied to trees to one side and the car’s roof rails to the other. I’ve also set it up very quickly using magnetic hooks to fit it to my car for a short stop and this works surprisingly well. If strong magnets, ie 20kg rated, then it will withstand light winds making it a very versatile and practical shelter.

It has provided welcome shade in hot weather and shelter from light drizzle through to unexpected torrential downpours. Throughout, with its hydrostatic head of 10,000, it has proven to be completely waterproof. Obviously, it needs to be rigged on a slope to allow rain to run off and drain but on the occasion I was caught in an unexpected deluge causing rain to pool heavily, not a drop seeped through.

Following use, it needs to be folded then rolled very tightly to return it to its storage/carry case together with the pegs but it can be done. However, due to its slightly tacky rubber coating on the underside, I will store it loosely folded or hung if not used for several months to avoid the risk of the sheet adhering to itself.

I’m very impressed and wouldn’t hesitate to order this tarp again as an outdoor shelter in all weather.

Good quality weatherproof tarp - ideal for camping or making a temporary shelte

I received this item through the Amazon Vine programme.
This tarp set is heavy duty, the same kind of material that you find decent motorbike and bbq covers made from.
It comes with pegs and leads for securing and tautening the tarp, and a stuff sack.
The stuff sack is not a easy fit, so be aware that you need to meticulously fold the tarp in order to get it back into the bag.
I would definitely trust this tarp to keep me dry overnight in a hammock, or to keep the sun out at the beach.
Priced at 22.99 it is dearer than similar items on the Amazon pages, so not the best value for money, hence 4 stars and not 5.

The construction of this tarp makes it very suitable for outdoor activities, or for using to cover items to protect them from the weather. The front-facing side is tightly woven nylon and the reverse has a polyurethane like backing to give it complete waterproof properties.

The tarp is constructed in two pieces with a double seam welt halfway through the square. This again is covered with polyurethane to keep water out. Around the edge, I was pleased to see a strong hem and three cleats per side to hold down with pegs or rope. There is also an assortment of pegs and rope in the kit to assist with this.

I have used this for a roof covering over some storage areas in my garden (photo) and it has worked brilliantly to protect the contents from rain and wind. IT will be equally effective as a camping tarp or a make-do shelter when walking.

I am very happy with the construction and effectiveness of this cover and providing it does not get snagged by sharp objects will always keep completely rainproof. The bag it comes in is too small to reuse practically, these types of materials never fold up as tightly as when first purchased and the bag is then redundant.

Good quality tarp with effective waterproofing and peg ki

This is a really good hammock, i have used it for 3 nights now and even in the rain and in the wind, it held up really well.

For the price, it’s actually really decent, it’s a large 3m tarp, mostly made of nylon, which is a nice and resistant material, the seams are really strong on this tarp and so are the anchors, usually that’s the first thing to go when using tarps, but in this case they really have improved it.

It comes in with 6 aluminium pegs and rope, with a nice carry case to store it all, super easy to carry and light too, i very much prefer a good tarp to a tent, it’s easier and quicker to setup and will protect you against the elements just as well, however it won’t protect you against the cold, so in warmer weather it’s a must have.

There are a ton of anchors to use and because the material is strong, you can keep it tight as much as you need, which is great.

I have tested it for 3 days straight and it held on really well, it got rained on for the majority and it didn’t let any rain go through, even with wind it held on, it all depends on how well you setup your rope and what not, but there was no failure on equipment here.

Once i was done, it was easy to roll up and get it back in the case that it came in, as long as you keep it dry, it’s really easy to do, just roll it tight and it all works well.

Highly recommend based on the quality and the price.

This tarp is a little heavier than expected and is made from black fabric. It was packed into a small, drawstring bag with a further drawstring bag inside containing the pegs and guy ropes.
The tarp is very large. The pvc lining had stuck to itself and needed to be peeled open rather than unfolded.
The tarp has plenty of sewn on pitching points and, with a little creativity and a few extras, can be pitched in a number of ways.
One of the most basic is to hang it over a line between two trees and peg out the sides. It could also be pitched gazebo style with the addition of some awning poles and utilising the guy ropes which creates a large area underneath though best to sit away from the edges to stay dry.
It will need careful management in a stiff breeze but was very waterproof and dried reasonably quickly.
It is quite heavy if every gram matters but ideal as an addition to a camping trip to make a covered outdoor area. Could also be rigged up from a car/van to make a shade.
One issue is once opened it is never going to fit back into the little drawstring bag it came from. I have had to find another storage bag instead.

This camping cover is easy to use and install. I was out camping on a field and it took about five minutes to set up and use. It protected me from the rain and the wind, and it is actually quite sturdy and will not move around which is good. Everything you need is included like lots of rope and foot pegs to help it stay put. Good value fro money and I recommend it.

The black colour is particularly useful for when you want your campsite to be overlooked. I was camping in the cairngorms and I’m not a fan of “other travelers” coming to join me at my wild camping spots, buy using this tarp instead of my usual blue tarp, the site was significantly less conspicuous for on lookers. The tarp held up well through a couple of showers and quickly dried after the shower. could be lighter, but for the price I can’t fault it 🙂
