These firelighters are really good, I did read some reviews that said that they weren’t all of a good size and there is a lot of loose bits, but I have to say I have searched as far down the box as I can and I have no issues at all. They are all a good size.
They burn for a good 10 minutes and if you are careful how you set your fire, one firelighter is enough to get your fire going. However, I am less patient so I use two, that gets the fire started quickly.
The best part is I know I won’t ever have to worry about running out of firelighters, these should last me a couple of years.
They worked very well last year and 1000 last ages and save money.
Not lit them yet that’s why I haven’t given them 5 stars hopefully they’ll be fine
These are brilliant for starting pizza Ovens, charcoal bbq’s, or just normal fires, I would be lost without them
I use these to get the log burner started, using a bit of kindling, the log burner heats up quickly, I have bought these several times from Amazon.
Best product we have purchased. Hence buying the larger box this time.
These fire lighters are easy to light and burn for a good amount of time. Only down side is half are the normal size and half are small. If the lighters are measured by weight, this is not so much of a problem. There is a lot of material that has come off the lighters as well which is kicking about in the box.
I would buy these again as they are natural and don’t smell bad like other fire lighters.
i always buy these fire lighters so easy to use and it only takes a couple of them to light the fire with the sticks and it is away in no time buy them all the time
These are our go-to firelighters. They are recommended by the people who installed our wood burner, as they don’t leave dangerous residues in the flue. I use two to get each fire going and they are incredibly effective with no chemical smell. I would definitely recommend them.

So what can I say now I have your attention, on opening the box I wasn’t overly impressed by the size either. However I need not have worried, the quality more than makes up for the lack of size. More to the point I was having a bit of a nightmare lighting my wood burner, with just paper and kindling, as the paper was making so much ash and was stinking the house out. It wasn’t doing a great job of lighting the fire either. Just one fire lighter and as another earlier review said, well placed, Jenga style kindling, and the fire gets going no problem. No mess no fuss, starts every time. I can’t believe some reviewers are saying it takes two or even three to get a good fire. Just take a little more time at the beginning setting the fire up. Very happy with these, so much so I left a review. High praise in itself. Hope this helps anyone who is struggling as I was.
I have had these eco friendly fire lighters several times. They do what they say they do.
I choose them because they are the cheapest. Why pay more.
Brilliant product. We dont buy newspapers anymore so wanted something to help start our fire. We use just 1 or 2 and they will light the fire long enough for the wood to catch…absolutely brilliant product.
Our chimney sweep recommended these and so pleased he did. They were delivered the next day and they do exactly what it says they do. One firelighter burns for a good 10 minutes which is ample time to light kindling. Would highly recommend the suppliers and the lighters.
Fire lighters are very good but I do get better longevity from other brands

Excellent fire lighter. Use them in the wood burner and they stay slight for ages due to being well compacted. We use quite a few of them so like the large order quantity!
These are brilliant. I have bought a 10kg box from another seller, but a lot of them fell apart. These stay together really well and do what they’re supposed to. We use them in a BBQ hut on our glamping site. Would highly recommend and will be buying again as required.
