I bought this to replace two previous ice shavers which had failed within weeks of purchase. So glad that I paid a bit more for this one. Top quality, really solid construction, shaves ice in seconds.
*Cuts all sized home ice cubes extremely fast like butter (That’s why I have it five stars)
However you need to place a kitchen towel underneath once cutting is finished, as hidden ice turns into water after a while and tends to leak out.
The only other downside is it’s looks! It’s is an ugly product looking like an industrial machine from the 1960’s rather than the home friendly design’s you can find today 2023.
I had a beautiful and much cheaper designed before, but it didn’t last and was extremely noisy and took along time to do the job.
This machine is a real beast in comparison and does the job effortlessly in seconds!
I haven’t used it yet but the video That was sown o nAmazon looked very good.
I have only had this a few days but already love it and know I will use it a lot. Perfect for slushies and frozen cocktails. It transforms a handful of ice cubes into a bowl of snow in seconds. Reviews of cheaper machines say they have plastic blades and break . This machine has metal blades and seems very sturdy. Some reviews said it dripped water when the residue ice melted – this is easily solved by putting a piece of kitchen paper in the gap where it drips until it finishes dripping, which isn’t long. Would highly recommend

I have bought a few cheap ones in the past few years and they have all been inadequate or broken down after some use.
But this machine is a beast. It’s a bit more expensive than the other ones I bought but worth the money.
Its study and very well made.
It crushes up the ice cubes or chunks of ice in a matter of seconds into a fine ice dust that is great for ice drinks etc.
You can literally get a full pint of ice in a matter of seconds out of it.
It is a very loud machine but that does not bother us.
