Loud but I like i
The fan is very easy to assemble and took me just under 10 minutes to put it all together and get it running. The bottom plate is very sturdy and makes the fan stand still even at the fastest speed setting. Finally, the fan itself is amazing and is very cooling even at it’s lowest setting and in the highest setting, it can be a bit loud and can inhibit sleep but I like it. Overall, a very good investment.

Absolutely brilliant!
Easy to assemble, took me about 15 mins with no assistance. The fan head is huge and you really only need it on F1 or 2, F3 is really strong. The timer is a real bonus, I set it for one hour before I went to sleep which was easy EXCEPT the instructions tell you to press the oscillate button when you should be pressing the timer button. Once I worked that out it was really simple. The light display is really bright but goes off after three minutes so you’re not kept awake. It’s reasonably quiet for the money, I didn’t struggle to hear my Audible with it on. Altogether, I’d say it’s a good buy.
Excellent, reliable, reasonably quie
I bought this four years ago and it is still working reliably having been in use most summers for a month or two. I disagree with others that it is noisy – it shifts a lot of air and that will generate a certain amount of noise. It is quieter than some I have experienced in hotels and is a lot quieter than their air conditioning. I like the remote control and the flexible timer. I generally operate it on oscillation – it swings through a good angle, the claimed 85 degrees seems about right. If it ever breaks, I would buy another one. A good fan.

This pedestal fan stands chest high when fully assembled, so is fine for placing at the foot of a bed. There are two other adjustments via telescopic rods if you want it lower. The motor is air-cooled and does not run hot. The remote control works well – you don’t have to get out of bed to turn it off!
There are three speeds, and even speed one gives a good cooling breeze at 3 metres. It is whisper quiet, and I have no trouble sleeping with the fan on. In short, an excellent product. Ideal for heatwaves!
Big powerful fan very quiet.
First of all very good fan powerful yet quiet, bigger than i expected but worth the money if you have enough room to store it. The assembly instructions could have been better. The blades were held in a plastic holder which at first glance looked like it was part of the fan, but you have to take this off to attach to fan head. It works well with a smooth quiet action, bought it just after the heatwave but should be sufficient if it gets hot again, it has two power settings.
Rather noisy
Very good fan, however we bought this for night time, and even on the lowest setting it is rather loud. However remote control is good, saves getting out of bed when you want it on or off. Good value for money though as long as you can hack the noise.

This fan is just what I needed! Even though I quite like this London heat wave, having this little bit of breeze that I can control at the tip of my fingers is perfect! It doesn’t make too much noise again and it’s very sleek in design. Pretty easy to assemble! Took 10 mins to put together.

I liked it so much I bought another.
Bought 1 last year in April & used it all summer. It’s much better than any others I’ve had or used at work. I was so impressed I invested in a 2nd this year for upstairs.

I disassembled the 1st one to clean it too with no issues.
Looks ok but cheap plasticy screw on knobs don't look sturdy
The plastic knob placed ahead of the fan recovery, the MOST CRUCIAL BIT which always snaps off, is flimsy and in my case did not fit the bolt. It had to be screwed on with force and still did not go on tight.
Review only a few days since purchase means NOTHING but I expect this bit will break off while in use and cause blades to also spin off into the grills, snapping them.
THIS is what has happened to every cheapy/plasticy fan I’ve bought in the last 8yrs online. Every single one! Olders metal ones never ever have this issue.

Works well
I’m well pleased with this fan. You can leave it running as it is quite and won’t keep you up. Easily assembled and the remote and timer works a treat.
Good breeze, not the most powerful
This was to replace a broadly similar item which was dying after several years of nearly constant use. Assembly was a bit fiddly, and be aware the column is in three sections – the only way to adjust the height is to insert or remove a piece. Doesn’t feel completely rigid or sturdy at full height, but it’s not subject to much abuse in the bedroom it lives in.
Level 1 on the fan speed is a bit pathetic and I find it needs to be left on level 2.
The remote control is very positive and much better than the one it replaced. Works well from the far side of the (quite large) main bedroom. Handy clip for the remote on the front of the motor unit.

Looked for a new pedestal fan for a while and looked at a lot of options but wanted one with a remote control and different speed settings and a front control panel and most don’t have all of these things. I chose this one because most of the reviews were good and I am very happy with the purchase, it was easy to put together, is very solid and does a good job. One added bonus that I wasn’t expecting is that once it has been on a while the front panel goes to sleep and all lights go out which is great when using it at night- no bright lights all night! I would definitely recommend this product.

This was a great buy!! The fan was easy to assemble and has three different heights to choose from. The fan can tilt and there is a rotating function also. There are 3 speeds and can be used either by remote control or on the tower itself. It is very sturdy and has a round base so no stubbing toes in the night on the usual crossed base. This is a powerful fan and is not quiet when in an average sized bedroom in the uk. This is something we have gotten used to and has the added bonus of being able to set a timer from 1-18 hours so there’s no worry if you fall asleep with it on. This is the best fan I have ever purchased and would highly recommend.

I bought this fan for using in our bedroom at night when humidity is high .
Have had the opportunity to use this once and was very pleased how powerful it is and is also quiet . Very happy with it .
The only down side is that it is not easy to put together. The instructions are inadequate. I managed to figure it out in the end but it is not easy .

What, no remote use instructions?
As I have MS, I really appreciate the fan and its uses. However, there were NOT any instructions as to how to use this remotely, which is important to me. Quite disappointed because of this factor alone.
There isn’t even anything I could find on youtube to help explain. Such a shame for an otherwise lovely product and quite quiet too.
Good, solid fan (except mine hopefully...)
Fan is pretty solidly built, much sturdier than others in its price range.
Its fairly quiet, and very effective on low speed. One complaint is the remote is a bit weak, and you do need tohave line of sight and be within a few meters for it to work.
Mine developed a fault, in that the neck became a bit loose, and the ratchet mechanism that allows vertical tilt is not tight enough to hold the weight of the fan head. The manufacturer responded to my message within 12 hours and will be sending a replacement in a few days – good service.
Hopefully this is a one off issue, as such I would highly recommend this fan for up to a medium sized room for reasonably quiet use, or a larger room for medium high speed.

Quite effective, noisier than I expected. The swivel function favours one side much more than the other,take care when erecting as I managed to drop the base on my toe which is now dark blue and split but, heyhoe my fault. All in all not bad for the money.

Use this whilst on my turbo trainer. Was always forgetting to switch it on before a session. So this is perfect. The combination of the three speeds & the rotation means that the ideal cooling can be achieved.

It keeps a room cool in hot weathe
Great fan only one thing I didn’t like was the light on the FAN which works the remote. I bought this for my bedroom and the light was very bright in the darkened room. Apart from that it’s it’s a good buy
I bought this for a specific purpose. To provide a strong and adjustable remotely adjustable airflow while cycling my road bike in the garage on a turbo trainer. It was perfect first time. The difference is incredible. While warming up, it’s too chilly to have the fan on and at first the level 1 is extremely cooling. At that point it’s difficult to imagine that I would ever increase the speed. But, 30 minutes in, level 2 is exactly right. At the end of the session it was clear that reduced heat stress and discomfort had measurably improved performance. I was blown away by the difference :))
I listen to music on speakers when exercising and didn’t have any issues with extraneous noise from the fan.
Because the outcome was so good and will be a permanent fixture for this purpose, I didn’t remove a star for what I found to be difficult assembly instructions. I’m very happy with this purchase.

Suprisingly a good product.
Low noise operation, remote appeared to be very convinient to have.
Plastic used tending to be on a cheap side, but just before falling into useless crap category.
You see it when assembling, but after that it doesn’t bother you and fan is not falling appart after short use as it happens with cheaper models.
It is quite stable, the base is heavy and sturdy. The round heavy base shape prooved to be more practical than just plastic cross used in many cheaper models.
In general, I’d reccommend it.

The fan itself is excellent. However, the assembly instructions provided are a little unclear as additional packaging clips are fitted and it’s not clear you have to remove them. When searching for the instructions, I noticed that Futura Direct are selling this on their website for 28.99 which is considerably less than the price on Amazon.
Just the job
Straightforward to assemble, although gave 4 stars because of very fiddly little nut & bolt on the fan cage which kept escaping while I was trying to fix them, so eventually used the bit of wire that was round the cord, which does the job fine. Nice looking fan, and the round base is very stable and not a trip hazard like some other designs (my cat is as clumsy as I am). Wasn’t sure if I needed a remote control but it’s been very useful as I can put the fan in a (rather awkward but it’s where the fan is most effective) corner of my room and turn it on /off/up/whatever without having to climb over the furniture. You do need to be firm with the buttons but so far it’s working just fine, and very handy. The timer is a must for me, as I have a bad habit of going off and getting distracted, so at least I don’t waste electricity cooling an empty room. Very quiet, especially on the lower setting which I find quite enough as it doesn’t blow papers or small bits all over the place – quite important when sewing! Light enough to move to another room when needed. Cpuld probably do with a bit more cable, but overall very good value for money.

Other than getting a little confused during assembly (according to my brother I am terrible with instructions… turns out he is right) I only have great things to say about this fan. The airflow is brilliant, the timer function is simple and the remote is a fantastic addition, especially for disabled people (like me).

Wanted a quiet fan for the bedroom, this fits the bill wonderfully.Easy to set up and the remote control is a bonus when you are in bed. The fan is quite powerful but a lot quieter than my previous fan. Haven’t needed to use the timer function only to try it out.

This really is a brilliant fan. I have my fan in the bedroom and although you can still hear it, it really is much quieter than any other fan I have bought. The timer is great I often put it on for a few hours when I go to bed, I am then happy in the knowledge that it will turn off when I want it to. The light on the main handle can be a bit bright but you do get used to it, or I did. You don’t have to have the fan near you and you dont have to get up , you just point the remote. It is easy yo assemble, I did it on my own in minutes. I would recommend this fan, so much so I do intend to buy another one for another room in the house.
Good fan, irritating ligh
This fan is easy to put together, works well even on the lowest setting, has a handy remote control that can alter any of the settings and is reasonably quiet. The major downside for me is the power light on the front. In a dark bedroom that little light is surprisingly bright which does bother me when I am trying to sleep. Other than that I would definitely recommend and feel it is a quality product that is good value for money.
A refreshing purchase!
We bought this for my mother in law to use in her lounge in a small flat. It’s much sturdier And a bit larger than I was expecting, but all the better for that. It very quickly “changes” the air on a hot day. The remote, though quite small, is ideal for mother in law who operates it from her chair. She loves it as it refreshes and cools the air in a matter of minutes. It feels sturdy and well built, and I think it represents very good value for money.

Love this fan!!! Is quiet enough for sleeping through, the timer and remote control are the stand out functions (and the reason I bought it). There are assembly instructions in the packaging somewhere so look for them before assuming they’re not there and getting started, and then having to start again.
I would highly recommend, it’s the only reason I’m able to get any sleep in this heat.

Great fan for these warmer days, the ease of having the remote to hand to change the speed etc whilst I am working from home is great! Only very slight problem was when assembling, the nut that tightens the fan to stand is very flimsy. Could definitely do with something stronger.

I bought this in 2017, and it’s been going strong ever since. It’s a little bit wobbly when you move it, but it’s perfectly sturdy when standing on its own. The airflow is great, and it’s not too loud. I do wish it didn’t beep every time you press a button, but I wouldn’t let that put me off buying it.
Really love this fan. Easy to put together. No tools needed. The remote control is great as I have fan in the bedroom and no need to get up to change settings. The timer is also a god send. Can sleep knowing itll not be running all night. I wouldnt say its noisy. It does make noise, basically what you expect from blades rotating. It’s a hum. Once going you get used to it. Doesnt bother me when sleeping. It cools down well. Nice breeze. Cant complain. Would recommend.
A few niggles but no regrets
The fan is easy to assemble, my 10 year old put ours together. The fan is pretty quiet for a fan, obviously there is some noise but it’s quite comforting. However, the remote is overly sensitive and you can end up changing setting before you’ve even pressed a button, the buttons also stick – they are made of rubber and get caught under the plastic casing. The other annoying part about this fan, in fact I’d even say a flaw, is the bright red led lights. The fan is used to keep cool at night so you can imagine with all those red, led lights, beaming away, how bright the room gets. I don’t regret buying it though and nothing a little black electrical tape can’t fix.

Bought this to serve a dual purpose, keep a bedroom cool come summer and provide a nice draught to make exercising more comfortable. This fan fulfills both these roles quite well.
Assembly was straightforward and easy, even without instructions. The only slightly fiddly part was the housing. The two halves needed a little bullying to fit together well and the screw and bolt holding them together is tiny.
The fan is very quiet on the low setting and even on high setting won’t disturb you unless you are an extremely light sleeper. It is not terribly powerful, but on full power and directed it produces a reasonable current of air. Swing action is smooth and quiet. The control panel is simple, works well and is replicated by the remote which also works well.
If I’m being super picky . . . The power cord is not very long, I would like it to extend to be taller, tilt a little more and a recess in the body to house the remote when not in use would be super useful.
In general, I’m happy with my purchase, would buy again and do recommend this product for the price I paid (which was 50)

Does the job
I bought this fan two years ago but it decided to pack up so I ordered a new one as I loved it so much. Disappointed that it’s not the same one. Probably ‘new and improved’ but I was hoping to get the same as the last one. But it does the job! Love the timer function.
I really love this product I am disabled and it is easy to use with the remote control, it is quiet it has a timer and I cannot fault the service and the delivery I never knew that I could like a fan but it was a necessity! I am a big fan of this fan and the company that supplied it! It was a little difficult to put together as I have difficulties with my hands however it is sturdy and exceptionally precise It stands well and it is safe and solid rather than flimsy as other fans are. It is well balanced. As it is in my bedroom I have put some Blu-Tack over the light so that it doesn’t always have a light on but you could always turn it off at the plug however as I am in bed and incapacitated it is the perfect solution! Arrived promptly in a remarkably small box. Simple to put together – although odd that the tiny bolt and nut were loose in the box and not in an envelope. Comprehensive range of functions and quiet compared with the cheaper fan it replaced. Remote control is helpful as we use the fan in the bedroom. Quite a lot of red light though from the indicator panel on the fan in the dark.
Works very well and is quite good for the money.
Although I considder my self a reasonable DIY ‘er ] found the the instructions difficult to follow and assemblee a bit difficult. Other wise it is very good. I would sugest that the assembely instructions should be revisd.

Great product. Easy to assemble. Bought for bedroom. Quiet enough on low setting to be able to sleep whilst it’s on. Love the remote control. Don’t need to get out of bed to operate the fan and timer function great to set to switch off once you go to sleep. Red light’s illuminate for each function so if it’s for bedroom use some might not like this. Even when switched off the power light is always illuminated which is a totally unnecessary feature. Good oscillation and adjustable height. It has a tilt function which is enough for what I need it for, however it does not tilt very far forward compared with other fans I have had.

Very pleased with this fan, very easy to assemble apart from the tiny screw that helps secure the cage encasing the fan, not good for old arthritic fingers, but once assembled this is an excellent, very quiet fan, the remote is very useful for me as a pensioner to be able to operate it from my chair. It also looks good, and does the job of cooling the air very well. The base is large and stable having a thick, heavyish rubber insert in the bottom, impossible to tip over. Not the cheapest on the market but I feel money well spent. Overall very good shopping experience and next day delivery with Amazon Prime.
Fairly basic but happy
Easy to assemble and very stable. It isn’t particularly quiet but it’s not noisy. My wife is a light sleeper and noises tend to wake her up but she said that surprisingly the sound of this fan didn’t keep her awake. She said it is a bit like white noise, it’s there but it’s not annoying. I tend to agree.
The fan is stable even at max speed and oscillating. The remote works well, nothing futuristic, does what it sets out to do.
Sure there are better fans out there but for the price I am happy with the product; I am considering purchasing a 2nd one so we don’t have to move it about.
I was looking for a fan that was powerful enough to keep me cool in a hot room, but also not let out too much noise (aka not be noisy).
This fan isn’t as good as those 35-40 18″ chrome floor fans you can find on E-Bay. These fans are a lot more powerful than this Futura one, but the drawback is they are quite noisy which can cause problems if you’re either trying to sleep, or watching something with headphones that doesn’t block out external sounds. If you don’t care about noise or remote controls, you’re better off with those floor fans. They are amazing at keeping large rooms nice and cool.
That said, this does the job just fine. It is somewhat powerful and quiet compared to other fans. I am able to comfortably watch things and listen to music with my headphones (they don’t block out outside noise) without having the fan battle the sounds playing through my headphones (which would force me to ramp up the volume with louder fans). This is with the fan at its highest setting. It’s even quieter at lower speeds.
My room is currently sitting between 27-30c. It always gets this hot during summer. It is doing a fantastic job at keeping me cool. That’s an instant win for me as all I needed was a decent quiet fan that keeps me cool.
Great little fan overall. The only real drawback is you cannot turn off the LEDs. They are quite bright and may become distracting in a dark room. Other than that, it’s a nicely balanced fan from what I’ve seen of it so far.
Great Fan but!
First the good points, very well made with heavy strong base to help weigh it down. Great remote which works well with good timer options starting from 1/2 hour upto 7.5 hrs on. Pretty quiet even when moving side to side with no squeaking noises like our old one did.
The only bad point which I think is pretty bad is if like us using this in bedroom of a night time when in use the function Red lights are so bright in the end I had to cover over with a piece of paper, pity manufacturer did not think of this & use fainter red bulbs on control panel.

I’ve got it on for 3 days and I found nothing wrong with it. It’s a bit tricky to assemble as there’s only a picture to guide you, but I like the challenge lol. Didn’t take me long and I’ve done it quite quick (felt like a super DIY queen). It’s not noisy at all, it works fine, I just agree with another review about the bright red led lights – they are bright so I assume they may annoy some light sleepers. Apart from that, all good!
Great fan at a great price.
Bought this fan primarily based on price and features and I have to say I’m not disappointed. The fan was very easy to assemble and is even easier to use, and within a few minutes it was working like a dream. The fan runs extremely quiet even on top speed so using it on the timer last night to get to sleep was brilliant.
I would have no hesitation in recommending this fan to anyone.
Works well found it hard to build
The product came without the screws so on the hottest day of the year I try to build it but can’t. Waste of time .later turned out the instruction booklet was not correct and it didn’t need screws. After emails to the seller the fan finally can’t built and works well

Good fan overall. It’s great having a remote so don’t have to get up and down. The only criticism I have is that the lowest setting is not as low as I would like, but I tilt up the fan instead. As far as noise goes, it’s ok not very quiet but also not the noisiest I’ve heard.
Slightly smaller than advertised.
The advert said 16.5 inch but it is only 16. That said it is fairly easy to assemble just one very small fiddly nut and bolt was a problem due to where it had to go and it’s tiny size. Good height and quiet operatio
This fan is, in my opinion, very good value for money. It is very quiet in use and has a very stable base. The fan head can be tilted up and down so you can have it in the best position for maximum cooling effect. The timer is easy to use meaning you can leave the fan on a timer setting and it will turn itself off. The motor doesn’t get warm like my other fan. The remote control is perfect for me as I have poor mobility and it save me getting up to adjust speed etc. Really pleased with this fan.
Very good product. As you would expect, the height and angle of the fan are all adjustable and the remote control is such a great feature. I purchased this for the bedroom, as during this hot weather (June/July 2018), it was just too hot to sleep. The timer ranges from half hour, 1 hour, 2 hour and 4 hour, after which the fan will automatically shut off. This is an excellent feature for the bedroom for when you’re asleep you can set the timer, with a simple press of the button on the remote, to shut off after you’re asleep. The fan is also fairly quiet on the low setting and so is not too intrusive when trying to get to sleep. The delivery arrived quickly and well packed. There is some assembly, but it is very easy to put together with no tools required. I would definitely recommend this fan. 🙂
Functions well. Fan air performance and remote control is good. Lowest speed is reasonably quiet compared to many similar and the airflow it provides. Base is sturdy and pedestal upright height and adjustment is stable. The remote is a neat design with a good mix of effective controls. RRP is far too high but the Amazon Prime price is OK at the higher end of reasonable. Needs self assembly, which only takes a few minutes.

This fan comes in 7-8 different pieces and you have to assemble it yourself. The instructions on how to do this are all text with no pictures and they are awful. It is however fairly easy to assemble and most people will be able to do it without any of the instructions. Quality seem to be OK and about what I expected for the price. The plastic nut you use to fasten the fan blade was however damaged with about 20% of it missing. It still worked to use and doesn’t seem to affect the balance of the fan.
I bought this fan with the intention to replace an older fan that no longer swivels in my bedroom. This one is however too noisy and too powerful on its lowest setting to be useful for me at night in the bedroom. The lowest power setting is about between medium and high on my old fan, which is of the same type and size.
On a positive note, the swivel/swing/oscillate function is smooth and quiet.
If it had had a ‘Very Low’ or ‘Night’ speed setting, it might have gotten 5 stars.
Does the job of shifting air - powerfully and remotely
Arrived quickly and easy to assemble. Instructions are text only but you don’t really need the instructions anyway. The fan is powerful and remote function is great.
Cannot see any benefit to me of natural or night mode – bit of a gimmicky selling point.
Powerful fan, no noise? Go figure. If you need a fan at night in the bedroom that is quiet go for a large slow ceiling fan.

Fan come in a plain box it was ok, the circular base that is attached and give it weigh seem to me it was stored in a different place than the box because it was ditry, in this case I did not care about it because you will not see it anyway after you install it. About fan operation it was exactly what I was looking for, fan blades are very flexible which I did not liked at all but I replace it with my previous fan blades with plastic was less flexible and it worked for me perfectly. The original blades are made with a very flexible plastic and it blows just rigth… and it’s very easy to ensamble it.
Brilliant. I have this near my bed as I am a lady of a certain age! I put it on about 5 times a night and it is quiet enough not to wake my husband up. It is very efficient and there are numerous settings. It does not need to be right next to the bed so as you trip over it. It is powerful enough to be quite a few feet away. I have developed the knack of sleeping with the remote control in my hand! Absolutely love it. Wish I had bought it sooner and will definitely recommend.

This is a really nice product and, given I’m disabled, relatively easy to put together by yourself; I would have liked a little better (preferably illustrated) instructions on putting the fan together and some of it – particularly the base – was a little more fiddly. Nonetheless I managed it and it works great. Nice and quiet, the oscillating fan also has a wider swing than some other oscillating fans and the timer and modes are also useful. On the whole, it’s a great product – have taken off one star only because a picture installation would have helped me specifically but I think others would have had no problem with it. It arrived very quickly as well.
10 months later and one of the three I bought is showing signs that ihe motor is about to stop working.
4* because 2 of the three fans had a broken centre spindle stop. However, it did not prevent that fan from working perfectly so I did not request a replacement. Otherwise, it’s a great product.

A Quality Product and Service.
The product is fairly sturdy and well built. The overall look is attractive and looks lovely and at home with my colour scheme, I love it. .The bonus is the remote control which means I can relax and operate the fan without getting up. As for the service, at first, I wasn’t too impressed but after the initial hurdle of sending photos, I have to say Futura customer service dealth with my issues professionally, politely, efficienty in acceptable timely period and I now have a great fan and extra on top. All in all, I’m happy with my purchase, so top marks to Futura for the quality of their product, fair prize and service.

Excellent fan, we have it on at night using the timer and angled down on the bed, exactly what we need. customer service spot on, had a faulty part, contacted them and a new one sent straight out in the post no questions asked.
The instructions need a bit of updating, it says you need four screws and need to connect the fan to the base with them, but this isn’t the case. No screws are provided but instead a screw clamp does this job. Once you figure this out the rest of it can be put together in 5 mins

Excellent fan. Well built and very stable on its base.The method of assembly varied slightly from the instructions as it is even more simple to put together, just one hand tightening lever on the base rather than screws. Also one small bolt on fan guard for security. It appears the timer settings of 0.5, 1.0, 2.0 and 4.0 hrs can be added together to give times from between 0.5 to 7.5 hrs in 0.5 hr increments, controlled on the fan or remote. A real bonus if you want it on all night. On slowest speed it sounds a bit like a small prop plane flying way off in the distance, which i find quite nice for falling asleep.

I bought this fan, as my new best friend!… Needed it for night times to cool me down and it doesn’t disappoint. Delivery was prompt, I took all the parts out of the box and it was very easy to put together.
The best part is the remote control, I keep it under my pillow and it’s at the ready when I need it most! The fan itself is very quiet, even when it rotates which is a bonus and I have to say I am really pleased with this purchase and would recommend it. A well made powerful fan which spoils the user with a remote control. I love the timer on the fan which allows a choice of 30 minutes to hours of running time before it switches off. Ideal for through the summer months when it is warmer at the start of the evening, but then cools later on in the small hours. Using the timer will not force you to wake up because of feeling cold as it will have switched itself off.
The base is sturdy so the entire fan feels stable. The joints are well made and the entire machine is easily assembled. note to all those who don’t read instructions, I did think that one part of the stand was missing, however, after cursing and getting wound up, I then investigated properly and found the chrome pipe pushed into the plastic stand. My fault but a point for others to note.

Excellent bit of kit.The icing on cake is the remote control. I bought this one for the bedroom as my wife is now almost permanently confined to bed. the remote control enables her to be able to control all the functions herself. The fan itself is very good and efficiently cools the double bedroom. the choice of sweep or static and speed can easily be controlled with the remote. I would strongly recommend both the item and the suppliers. Delivery was extremely fast,( I got it the day after placing my order). Excellent service all round and a bargain price. I would certainly buy from this company again without hesitation.
Very happy with the fan. This was the cheapest available at the time for a fan with remote control . Not having to get put of bed to switch on and off is just fantastic! It even has a timer, so one can set it up for 1/2, 1, 2 and 4 hrs! An absolute boon! It’s v quiet too, tho not as quiet as my previous Challenge one being used in another room, but compares well. Very pleased with the buy. Would recommend.
A great fan. A good sturdy base so it doesn’t wobble or get knocked over and it looks smart. Also a good height, taller than my old one. Even on the lowest setting its pretty fast. The lead is rather short, especially when you extend to full height, but it’s powerful and has a remote so you can plug it in anywhere and just point it in the right direction. The remote does everything – turns it on and off, adjusts the speed, switches the oscillator on and off and sets the timer. The fan comes apart easily for cleaning. You can get cheaper fans, but the price of this one is justified by the quality.
