Extremely good product. Great value. Very solid and well manufactured (no rough burrs or defects). I like the fact that the head is flattened, so you can stand it up easily. Some other reviews suggested these were short, but I’m 6’3″ and the length is right for me – it’s the same length as my other mace, from a different manufacturer so I think it’s pretty standard. There’s no ‘pommel’ at the end of the handle, which is a bit thicker than other maces I’ve used and makes it a bit harder to hold onto But it’s powder coated rather than gloss, which offsets that. Another review said the knurling on the handle was almost undetectable, but it’s very much present on mine and very effective. I like that there are two knurled sections, one at the end of the handle for spins and one further up for holding it ‘shovel style’ for doing ‘gravediggers’. Another review said there was some loose or rattling component inside, but that’s definitely not the case with mine – absolutely solid. Highly recommended.

Wel it’s an amazing tool to work out with. My fault I ordered the 10KG which for me is just far to heavy. I tried to contact the seller 3 times to see if I could exchange it for a lighter one but no response. But defiantly a good tool.
I’ll be buying more from Gravity fitness but direct, not from amazon.
A year on and Gravity have fixed all the problems. The handle is made from a nice heavyweight steel, the knurling is good and in the right places, they have a much better end cap (removable, which I prefer as you can get rid of annoying rattles), and the head is perfectly spherical with a nice weight indicator and logo on the end rather than on the side.
For the price it’s outstanding, and to be honest there’s nothing to be gained by buying the more expensive ones on the market right now. Well done to Gravity for listening to buyers, and I’m off to buy an accompanying 6kg for flow work.
