As someone who is both autistic and ADHD, I’ve always struggled with sensory hypersensitivity. Busy shops and restaurants can be incredibly overwhelming for me, which is why I was thrilled to discover Loop Quiet earplugs. These earplugs have been a game changer for me. They effectively block out all kinds of noise, from the chatter of crowds to the clatter of dishes, without making me feel like I’m completely cut off from the world. They’re also comfortable to wear, even for extended periods of time, which is great since I wear them pretty much everywhere I go. I can finally enjoy being out and about without feeling like I’m being bombarded by sensory input. If you’re someone who struggles with sensory hypersensitivity, I highly recommend giving Loop Quiet earplugs a try.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI love my husband dearly but his snoring is the absolute worse and it was really affecting my sleep which of course made me less tolerant to his snoring and tbh him in general!! Ha ha! anyway thanks to these earplugs I am finally getting a good nights sleep and I am super grateful. I have tried a lot of earplugs and these are the best I have tried. I love how they come in different sizes so you can get your perfect fit and they stay in all night and if positioned correctly, which takes a little twiddling, they are very comfy. Would highly recommend. And my husband is super grateful too as now I don’t need to kick him out of the bed! Tee hee!

ordered these a few days ago and they are fantastic. They are so comfortable I can sleep in them (even when I’m lying on them), the don’t leave your ear achy & sore, they help my tinnitus and calm me when I’m having sensory overload (adhd and ptsd). They have 4 different size buds so make it very easy to find a great fit! I’ve tried other brands, some actually more expensive and these are far superior and all for 16:99 delivered I’m even thinking of buying my husband and set so he doesn’t need to listen to me shouting as a mixture of tinnitus, a bit deafness and adhd means I shout instead of talk at a normal level lol wish I had these when I was in the army could have been a lifesaver when I came to listening to people snoring lol

Far superior to other brands with comfo

After years of not being able to sleep, a howling bedroom window when it’s windy, a snoring boyfriend! A naughty cat that scratches at the door at 3am, I am now unreachable by noise when I’m asleep! I’ve tried so many ear plugs and these are by far supreme!
They seem expensive but well worth the money! Would highly reccomended!

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI’ve been wearing earplugs every night for a number of years. I tried many pairs. My previous pair lasted me longer than they should have, however the company went out of business and i couldn’t repurchase the same thing. I spent some money trying different brands and in the end i think i am going to be sticking with these ones. These don’t have plastic filter bits, which is great! That makes them more comfortable than 99% ear plugs out there as normally those filters bruise my ears as i sleep on my side. Worn them for about a week now and can safely say my ears aren’t bruised, and they haven’t fallen out of my ears whilst i am sleeping yet – which is impressive. If these could come in neon colours – i would prefer it – i do anticipate they will fall out at some point, and it will be beneficial for me to find them easier in the dark. Regardless, i think i will be purchasing a few pairs so that i can have some for future use. Thanks Loop for making my sleep better and developing a good, well designed product.

Comfortable soft earplugs come with different earbuds to fit to your ear size. I stayed in b&b with relative who has snoring issues, I am usually sensitive to noise from other guests, traffic and doors banging. With these I slept much better and got disturbed less too. A much more positive experience being away from home.

Bought these as was struggling with the noise levels in gym classes. Particularly Blaze. These dampen the sound enough, that I can still hear the music, and the instructors, but it makes the class a much less stressful experience.
They are also super discreet so I don’t feel stupid when wearing them. They stay in throughout the class, which is perfect!

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersThese earplugs are just superb, the noise cancelling effect is amazing & with a variety of sizes you’re sure to find the perfect fit, Having tried a variety of ear plugs in the past I can honestly say with these I’ve had the best sleep in YEARS as I’m a light sleeper.
Just as a side note I’ve obviously taken them out a couple of times when sleeping, having woke to find one missing.
I have a kitten who likes to chew most things, so I popped a ribbon on to attach them (using the little loop) & I just put the ribbon behind my neck (bit like wearing a pair of Bluetooth earphones) when going to bed, safe way to sleep & to make sure the kitten doesn’t accidentally swallow them if I take them out during sleep.
I’d Highly recommend these ear plugs they’re excellent!

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersBought for myself and my child, we both have sensory processing issues and they find these very helpful when navigating busy corridors, social spaces and louder classes when in school. They’re also useful in loud/ busy restaurants. Until we bought these the only solution was to leave early, and debrief them on what was overwhelming and emotional regulation techniques. Now they are able to cope far more in everyday situations.

I love these earplugs for myself because I find silence helps me study, and they’re great for sleeping next to a very snore-heavy partner!

I highly recommend these for people with auditory processing issues, especially in relation to autistic spectrum condition. They are for age 12+ and the tips go to an XS size, it would be good to see the brand include younger children sizes, or options that are safer for younger ones. We tried other noise cancelling options, but these are the best for discreet wear, they still let you hear but they do block sound too. Having them on a neck chain would be good so they don’t get lost.

I never thought I’d be able to use ear plugs, because they either always fall out or they’re uncomfortable to wear (usually because you have to shove them so far down your ear, you might as well just burst your ear drum at that point).

But these are unbelievably comfortable to sleep in – I was unsure due to the negative reviews, but I’m a super light sleeper so any kind of discomfort or change in temperature/sound/movement/light wakes me up. But I managed a solid daytime nap with these.

It does reduce noise, particularly things like traffic, which is great if you live on a busy street.

    Does the job!

I bought these particularly to deal with some new neighbours who have moved in as they are a bit noisy, but they’ve been quiet this evening so I might update once they start making noise again.

Golden Review Award: 20 From Our UsersThey’re really good at blocking noise and feel comfortable if you’re wearing them during the day to block out noise, but they’re not comfortable for me while trying to sleep as a side sleeper. There are two problems when it comes to sleeping in them, one is that the silicon loop will act as a microphone for your movement against the pillow. But more importantly while the insert is comfortable inwardly, the edge around it is not. If you feel them, it feels like it shouldn’t, but when you insert it, the silicon material pinches together creating a hard edge – not too hard but just enough. As I moved about when that side was against the pillow, the edge scratch against my outer ear and making the skin feel iritated enough to make me give up and remove them if I had not fallen asleep by then. So a bit disappointed that I cannot use them in the way I intended.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersSo I took the plunge and decided to get someone to lodge with me. Naturally I’m quite sensitive to the new sounds in my home and I think in terms of senses – highly tuned in at present . There were some additional things that were quite annoying I could hear as well.

Some examples of things I used to hear, tenant moving in there room, toilet flushing, up and down stairs, cupboards and doors closing, next doors dog barking, outside traffic as on a main road.

The headphones don’t cancel out all noise but it’s enough for anything going on around you too not disturb you. I rate them as they do what I bought them for, which is to not be woken up unless my alarm or body says so .

My only nag is things in my ears really irritate them and seem to have made my ears internally more sore. I don’t actually think its the product, I think it’s my bodies natural response to things in my ear. Just a heads up for anyone who suffers with in-ear skin sensitivity.

They are good though, wish I had them for my ex’s snoring and wish I had them in the summer so I could have had my window ope

I was unsure about buying these if they would really be able to make a difference, but just used them recently on a trip and could barely hear people around me. For someone who suffers from noise sensitivity and travel anxiety these really made me feel more at ease.

Given 4* only as I usually hate in-ear accessories as they always fall out no matter what size, these Loops did not fall out but I did find them quite hard to position correctly.

    I purchased the Loop Quiet.

They work fantastically, and are really effective. These are solid plugs and so reduce all noise. As well as normal situations like if someone is snoring or there’s loud music, I find they really help to take the edge of some situations. The gym for example is much more pleasant with them in even though it isn’t really loud. It just gives you this pleasant bubble of peace and calm.

They’re also good for sleeping on because they nestle in the ear nicely.

A couple of common things I’ve seen:

-I can still hear things with them in!
They don’t make it silent. You would need industrial ear protectors for that. But they reduce the noise a lot.

    -They’re uncomfortable!
I find them very comfortable, I’m still aware of them in my ears, like I’m aware of my watch. But they definitely don’t hurt. If yours do, you’ve probably not fitted them properly. Try different size tips.

    -The colours are boring!
I agree there, but at least they’re unobtrusive.

My only complaint really is that the carry case is very lightweight and so feels a bit cheap. But then light is better than heavy I suppose.

    Overall highly recommended!

They’re so comfortable and don’t dampen the sound too much at live metal shows and often I forget I’ve got them in. Can’t imagine a gig without them now! Some mentioned hard (memory foam) pillows and side sleepers – I have one and I am one. But – two nights in and I must say, these are really comfortable. Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersMy partner snores and I can never sleep properly. I tested all the earplugs on the market.
I liked the foam earplugs but they slide and I can still hear.

I tested loop quiet and I struggled to fit them in the ear the first time. The second time it got easier.
I got used to them and I can rotate them to a degree depending on how much noise I try to cancel.

I can’t live without them now. I can finally sleep! I can still hear a bit but compared to other earplugs I had in the past, loop quiet covers the sound a lot better.

Golden Review Award: 29 From Our UsersI purchased these after my current buds died. Having read the reviews, which are a touch up and down I thought it worth the punt.

Firstly, the carry case is nice and small with just the correct amount of room for the buds. I would have liked the case to be a little better quality, better lining etc. But they do the job.

The buds themselves are easy to put together, if not a little fiddly to take apart. They are very soft and conform to your ear easily, I find that as you put them in you gently push and twist and they seal up. After warming up in your ear you will notice they seal tight.

Sleeping with these buds (side sleeper) is very comfy, I would say on a scale of 1-10 giving them a solid 8. I have tested these on a normal filled pillow, natural rubber and memory foam (the hardest) and they perform well, with comfort levels roughly the same. Maybe a 7/10 when on memory foam.

I was worried about the reviews that state they fall apart in your ear! Well I have had mine for 2 or 3 months and this has never happened. Like I said above, once warmed up they seal very well. This does mean you should NOT just pull them out! Gently twist left to right and pull them out.

Noise reduction. I would say they block ambient noise pretty well, say a 7/10. Louder close noise not so much, maybe a 6/10. However, everyone is sensitive to sound at different levels.

This time of year we have the windows open and by 4am the bloody seagulls are screaming, these buds block that noise 100%. They also block my alarm clock, taking a good few minutes to finally wake me up!

My old buds that had white noise and ambient sounds for playback blocked noise more effectively, however they were much harder in the ear.

So overall I find these a great set of buds, comfy, easy to store and clean with good levels of noise cancelling. Give them a go and see if they work for you?

I’ve been wearing ear plugs for years now. Mainly because I’m such a light sleeper and my partners breathing can wake me up! These are perfect. They don’t block noise out so I can still hear my children in the night but I get a good night sleep with them too! (Blocks out my partners snoring anyway!) they are so comfy you don’t even know you have them in, and you get different sizes so they will definitely fit you!

I bought these solely for sleeping. I tried them during the day and they worked fine but at night I found I couldn’t sleep with them in.
The idea is good and they work well if I’m not on my side, but for side sleepers I didn’t find them comfortable to wear.
Maybe my ears are a different shape to the average person but I simply found that the loop could be felt when lying on them. I tried swapping to a soft pillow but still had the same issue.
Sadly, these turned out to be an expensive experiment which failed for me.
If I needed some purely for noise cancellation during the day they would be perfect, but because I only want to block noise when I sleep, I can’t justify the price.

Was sceptical but actually best ear plugs I’ve ever used. Could still hear my husband snore occasionally but definitely reduced the noise over all ! Would recommend

    Wow!

I bought these because my neighbour’s dog barks a lot during the day and was waking me early morning.

The description said that it blocks 27DB of sound and that you can still hear your alarm etc. And that is correct!

Well, I am absolutely delighted with these QUIET earplugs. Quick and easy to put in. Comfortable for hours in ear.

Honestly, if you want to have a good night’s kip BUT still be able to hear important stuff around you then these are a MUST buy!

I used to use 3M foam ear plugs to block noise for me sleep for years. Unfortunately they had increasingly irritated my ears so I had to find alternatives. This product seemed most popular on Amazon with nice ratings so I decided to give it a try. This pair of ear plugs doesn’t block voice or other sudden noise but perfectly muffed background noise or some light sound, which fits my needs for a sound sleep. The comfortability to wear them is acceptable, just need turn them a few times to adjust to a right angle. So far so good!

They’re great for when I get overwhelmed or if I need to concentrate but they’re too uncomfortable to sleep in. I do have rather small ears so it could just be that? They don’t block out all of the noise, I can still tell when someone is talking at a normal volume but I do need to lip read to know what they’re saying, I find they’re great at blocking out all the extra background noise that you don’t notice is bothering you until it’s too much

I bought these for sleeping during the day as I work night shifts and live with multiple people. They are very comfortable unlike other earplugs I’ve tried and they don’t fall out during the night, like the foam ones do no matter what way I put them in. They are not completely noise cancelling, they block out most noise and have increased my sleep quality but if someone shouts or an alarm goes off in the room you will hear it. They are still one of the best purchases I’ve made for aiding in sleep quality, they are so comfortable and a well worth the money paid for them. Would recommend these to anyone looking to take the volume down significantly wether for sleep or for sensory processing issues.

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersUsed these to reduce background noise on a caravan site at night. They did the job very well. Turns out I have very small ears so they were a little bit fiddly to insert. By the end of the week my ears were a little bit sore from sleeping with them (even tho’ only using the smallest set) as the core is slightly firm but less bad than others I have tried (including children’s) , but there again they are the only ear plugs I have found that work in any measure at all for my small ears – the others I just can’t squish into the ear canal at all. It definitely beats cotton wool for noise reduction. It’s great they are easily cleaned and reusable.

These really help as my partner snores like a train so I struggle to sleep. They can be a bit uncomfortable sometimes but I have tried many different brands and these are definitely the best. Easy to pop in and out. They come with different sizes so you can see which fit is best for you and are easy to remove with the loop

I was a bit sceptical in trying these but my daughter persuaded me. They are good to cut out back ground noise and if you have a partner who snores the noise is not as loud but yiu can still here it. I find it relaxing as I can here my own breathing which in turn helps be to sleep.
The only throng I will say is despite trying different ear buds they have a habit of falling out when I am asleep meaning I have to search for them in the am.

I would recommend these to anyone who needs to
Relax or struggles to sleep in the summer with windows ope

I bought these because I wanted to reduce noise when I was sleeping try and blank out annoyingly noisy neighbours who have very loud drunken parties, and also to muffle background noise when I’m working from home. They are by far the most comfortable and effective ear plugs I’ve tried for the purposes mentioned above. They don’t block out the noise completely, but sufficiently to make you not really notice it or worry about it.

I don’t usually write reviews, but I just so happened to be prompted via email for this one, and I’ve got a bit of time to kill – so here I am.

There’s no question that these are technically over priced for what you get – basically just rubber ear plugs, with a nice case and a variety of size options. Probably costs pennies to make.

However, I’ve found they work incredibly well for my intended use on public transport. I frequently take the London underground, and, though these far from remove the sound, there is a significant difference when I have them in, compared to when I don’t. What’s more, they’re very convenient, as I frequently travel without a bag, and the travel case easily fits into my trouser pocket.

They’re also great for dampening the sound of general street noise – I was in Covent Garden recently, and upon realising I still had them plugged, was absolutely deafened by the noise increase when I took them off. Really impressed.

I tried a couple of other brands of ear plugs, and they didn’t come close to the comfort, style, and noise reduction these provide.

I live in a terrace house and my next door neighbour talks really loud that I can hear them through the walls and they slam their doors in the early morning and late at night.

I thought I would buy these as they had good reviews and my god, couldn’t hear a thing! Finally got a good night’s rest using these! They were so good I have not heard my alarm at times so you may need to turn your alarm up or find a fool proof way to wake up if you don’t hear your alarm.

It took a few days to get the right fitting but they are comfortable even for sleeping on your side.

I guess one thing to be weary of not by the fault of the product but they occationally make the inside of me ear itch which then causes me to wake up, take out the ear bud and have to give it a little scratch but I will take the occationally itch over sleepless nights any day!

Also I found you have to be careful when changing the sizes. When I was changing them in noticed the silicone go white, like when you stretch something too much, so I would advise you be careful so not the break off the tip

UPDATED: I was using these earplugs wrong initially. If you are having problems, they just sit in your ear when you have the right tip in, no need to push. I wanted to update as I have been tracking my sleep and there is a marked difference – the tracked sleep with 7.53. and 7.16 top line is wearing the earplugs. the tracked sleep with 9.11 and 6.28 top line is without the earplugs. As you can see, since I have been wearing the loops my sleep pattern has changed and I’m getting long, deep sleep at the beginning of the night. I can feel the difference. 7.5 hours is enough now. Nothing else has changed, only the Loop earplugs. I haven’t heard the noisy shower and door banging at all.

    —-

I’ve got super-noisy neighbours who insist on having a halfhour-long shower and banging doors at 5 in the morning. I’ve tried silicone mouldulables and foam earplugs – even the plastic mouldables but all of them hurt my ears and don’t cancel the noise well enough. The next step would have been very expensive white noise earpods if these didn’t work.
I was hesitant to try these as they are not cheap they could easily be another in a long line of ear hurters, but they are not. They are lightweight and while they make a seal and you can hear yourself breathing you can hardly feel you have them in, even side sleeping.
Noise cancellation – well, the way noise works means you won’t get complete cancellation and I have accepted that – but these cancel enough noise – even nearby snoring – to help me get continuous sleep. I think they have drowned the shower/door banging as it didn’t wake me up! I can just about hear my dog ‘asking’ to get up at eight and my alarm on work days.
It took a bit of practice to get them at the right angle to seal in my weird shaped ears but now I get it first time. They supply four different sizes of tips and it was trail and error but there is plenty of online guidance.
    Best earplugs I ever bought.

I’m very sensitive to noise, particularly when sleeping or writing and have relied on foam earplugs for a number of years. Having narrow ear canals it was hit and miss in the beginning to find a brand that was suitable. Even when I did find a good one, the constant pressure provided by the expanding of the foam caused no end of problems and I’ve had a lot of pain over the years.

During my latest bout of pain, I was desperate to find an alternative. I found these ear plugs after reading a review on a parenting forum and though initially out off by the price, I was pretty much willing to try anything.

After wearing the loops for only a few hours, I can honestly say that they’re worth every penny. The buds come in a variety of sizes, meaning that you can select the size that is most appropriate (the small for me). Instead of going deeply into the ear canal, the kind of sit just inside the edge and still manage to dull sound effectively. While they’re in, you can hardly feel them and I felt no discomfort at all, even though I had an existing wound from my foam plugs, because they didn’t go deep enough to reach it.

While no as effective in blocking out noise as expanding foam, they do a good enough job for my needs and the comfort factor for me far exceeds a slight increase in the amount of sound I can hear. A further advantage of these is that they’re easily cleaned with a damp cloth and the carry case that comes with them will protect them for gathering any dirt. Overall, they will last for years and I would definitely purchase again if needed

I purchased these as I have some mildly noisy neighbours and wanted a full night’s sleep without being disturbed.

Rereading the ad I can see it says “medium noise reduction”, and in that I’d absolutely agree. They’re not so good as silicone ear plugs, but they’re much more convenient, and do stay in all night. Took me a couple of nights to get used to the feel of them, but I was able to sleep on my side without much discomfort or fear of them coming out.

I do wonder what their profit margin is, given these are just silicone earbud tips with the hole filled in. They must be very cheap to churn out in bulk, yet they’re 18. I guess they’re a niche product and may come down in price over time.

These are too strong for everyday use for me (I have different earplugs for that purpose), but are great for times when I need more serious noise reduction and I purchased them for this purpose. They do muffle sound effectively, although it can feel a bit like you’ve got blocked ears as all sound is quite muffled and distorted, so conversation is unpleasant. However, there are times when you absolutely need that effect and have no desire to hear the outside world. I’ve tried these on the London underground (included the dreaded Bakerloo Line), trains, buses, planes and cars. I’ve also worn them during dental procedures involving drilling and scraping, and when neighbours have been having building work. Overall, they’ve made life a lot more bearable and quiet. I feel like I’m in my own little bubble when I’ve got them on, and they definitely reduce a lot of stress for me.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI was told about these by a friend who had also purchased them and thought they were brul!
Was a bit sceptical after trying other brands and different shapes, but none were up to comfort levels, so reverted back to foam earplugs again for the third time.
These I have to admit are brilliant! Noise cancellation is brilliant, comfortable and easy to take out, which is a major one with me after getting one stuck as it was a size smaller and had started working its way down into the ear canal!!
However these act like a plug and be easily positioned so they don’t go any further into the ear because of the outside loop, and can be easily taken out by pulling on the loop.
Foam earplugs became uncomfortable and placed pressure during the night resulting in me taking them out subconsciously.
These are one of the best I have purchased and would say to others “Try them!”

Golden Review Award: 467 From Our UsersAfter a lot of research I decided to buy these to see if they would help with daily sounds and noises that annoy me.

    Pros:
    * Once you get them in the right position in your ears, you can’t feel them and they don’t hurt.
    * The actual design of the loop that sits outside in your ear means I personally didn’t obsess about not being able to get them out easily/getting stuck etc.
    * They’re fairly subtle in your ears in comparison to other in-ear ear plugs or large noise cancelling headphones
    * Definitely work to smother background noises, it doesn’t get rid of them completely , I could still hear traffic or a child shouting and screaming etc outside but it wasn’t as harsh and annoyed me a lot less
    * Comes with a little case you can put them in when you need to take them out

    Cons:
    * They’re not the cheapest out there
    * If they’re not in your ear properly, they can be annoying and uncomfortable
    * I personally can’t eat with them in
    * They cancel noise almost too well at short range so I had to take them out to be able to concentrate on a conversation properly. I could still hear what was being said, but trying to focus on the one voice you’re trying to listen to while everything else is so muffled is difficult

Overall for just sitting in the house watching tv etc on my own, I really like them and they work for me. If I’m trying to have a conversation with someone, I can’t hear the volume of my own voice and struggle to hold the conversation with them in. I plan on buying the Loop Experience ear plugs to see if they make having conversations easier but still muffle enough background noise.
This is my opinion as someone on the Autism spectrum using them for sensory issues and I’m writing this to try and help those like me that came looking for the same thing but couldn’t find much useful information for specifically Autism use.

Golden Review Award: 90 From Our UsersPlease note these are Loop Quiet not Loop Experience! I heard about Loop earplugs on a parenting group to help with sensory overload when your kids are small, but no one mentioned there are two kinds! So I bought these ones and they are the wrong ones for this purpose! Rather than filter noise, they are noise cancelling, and not so great for still having conversations and listening out for the kids. They’re amazing at what they do, to be fair, but make sure that’s what you want! For the more filtering ones, look for Loop Experience. Many ND parents are raving about them! So sad I blew my budget on the wrong ones but that’s my own fault- I can’t fault the product itself, delivers what it should and they’re very comfy.

Golden Review Award: 331 From Our UsersI am a extremely light sleeper and suffer from hyperacusis (sound sensitivity) and ‘early waking’ insomnia, especially when stressed. I wake at the slightest sound which is a problem as I live in a city on a street with about five hundred barking terriers. I have tried every ear plug on the market but I hate wearing them to sleep as they usually end up hurting my ears or falling out. Recently though I was getting really sleep deprived: even when I did sleep, it wasn’t deep and restful and I was waking at anything and getting more and more exhausted. So I decided to try these.

I have quite small ear canals and the only foam ear plugs that worked for me were the Macks Slim Fit but I was aware of them and I hated the fact that they were really hard to remove quickly once in place and were also destined for landfill after just a week’s use.

Other silicone earplugs with the “Christmas tree” layers and the hard core filter are impossible – they block sound very well but hurt to sleep on your side as they stick out too much.

I’ve been trying Loop Quiet for about a month and have just ordered my second pair. They are definitely, in my opinion, the best out there for a balance of sound blocking effectiveness and comfort. I particularly love the fact they can be removed instantly. It means that I’m not deafly digging my nails in my ears to claw out foam plugs if there is an emergency.

The other thing I liked is that all the packaging was recyclable. It was let down however by the carry case which is black (and therefore unrecyclable) plastic. Loop people, sort this out!

    Here’s some advice on use:

    1) They should block sound considerably and obviously. If they don’t then a) you have the wrong size ear tips – either too big or too small will prevent a good seal in the ear canal so experiment with the different sizes or b) you haven’t inserted them far enough. They whole ear tip should be right inside your ear.

    2) you need to practice until you work out which direction your ear canal goes and can get the loop part flat inside your ear like the pictures. The instructions aren’t great on this but if the loop is sticking out when you go to sleep it increases the chance they’ll be pulled out by friction with your pillow. I squeeze them to compress the right angle and, keeping the loop vertical, put them in my ears that way.

    3) Don’t buy the same colour as your bed sheets! I’ve just lost one…it’ll turn up, I hope.

    4) If you get a good sound reduction but can hear your own heart beat then you have ear wax build up and need either ear drops or micro-suction to sort it out.

    I hope this helps

Golden Review Award: 24 From Our UsersThese earplugs are great for minimising noise while working, trying to relax, or even sleeping (I wore them to sleep and they didn’t fall out!) I have small ears so I was worried about comfort and fit, but the medium size is thick enough to do the job and not come out of my ear at all. They even come with a case so you can’t lose them!

    Great buy
