Thought I would try it, but it beat my expectations very pleased with it east to use and move around
Use this all the way through the heatwave we had it was excellent I live in a bungalow no and it kept the bungalow call when it was 98f outside it was only 70f inside the Night-Time it was brilliant I love it very happy, I had the 10 L one .fast delivery as well

Could have a stronger water container and a easier way of refilling.

It is slightly noisier than expected but otherwise very good value
Good bit of kit reduces temperature by about 3-4 degrees and quite nice having that cool breeze blowing only problem I’ve found is it’s very hard to see the water level through the sight glass but you can always see the level by looking in the water drawer also another good feature is you can fill it from the top as well.
It is so easy to use. Easy to fill and empty. When working the air feels very cool. Several settings to suit requirements especially a night time setting which reduces sound to enable sleep. Excellent product with quick delivery.
I read reviews for many, I settled on this one, which was not even new.. though no way to tell that and I would never had known. The machine puts out lovely fool air on some of the hottest days for a while. The remote did not work, as another review had said. Yes, I did take the plastic out AND tested battery… but who cares, the buttons on it did. Very pleased with purchase.
Not sure how robust it will be over a period of time as the plastic is not of the rigid sort. Already the bottom bit where the water goes seems a little distorted.
As always with these reviews a decent amount of time is required before it is possible to give a proper assessment.
Having said that i think it will prove to be a good buy.
This cooled down the area in which we used it during the hot heat very efficiently. Anyone entering the area was pleasantly surprised that such a great value item made all the difference just when needed.
Works really well. Very good air cooling function. Keeps a 3M x 5Mx 3m room reasonably cool, but keep windows shut.
Good product for the price. Very easily moved around and does keep the room cool on max speed.
Excellent for what we needed. Cools air really well, would see need for highest setting rarely. Minimal noise. Delivered very quickly.
I love the fact this uses the ice and water to produce cold air rather than just blowing got air around the room like a regular fan. Even in 30C heat and above this has been keeping my room nice and cool.

Absolutely marvellous. My flat tends to be far too hot, this machine makes it bearable. Obviously, at exceptional temperature it can only do so much, but reduces the heat enough to be noticeable. Have to be careful of humidity though . Highly recommend

This is a great product for the money and with a remote control too. Easy to store as the water bucket come off altogether so can empty it which make it really light to easily put in the loft for the winter!
as we needed cooling for our Newfoundland dogs we looked for a product to cool at a significant level without having to pay through the nose. Air conditioning proved too expensive and this product has proved to be well worth the money.

This fan has been great this summer in the hot weather. Cools even a large room down. A little on the noisy side but definitely worse it in the hot weather. Light weight and powerful.
Down side is the ice packs don’t fit in the tray but just put them in the water.
Most effective,when used with commonsense.Just take care if having an early morning tinkle.-.-.-.-,the vents are at crotch height,Passing too clse allws an icy blast that would service a dozen brass monkeys. Excellent value for money.I recommend it.
I have not had the need to use this air conditioner as it did not arrive until just after the heat wave. Having examined it I feel it will be ideal in the next heat wave that’s promised. It is smart looking and can be easily moved from room to room and has easy to read controls on the remote control. I feel I made a good choice.

Very impressed with the product. Couldn’t go to an air conditioner but this is really good. Cools the air down very efficiently with the ice pack inside the water tray. Arrived flawless and fast delivery. With our heatwaves it’s a must have purchase. Very pleased indeed.

It’s not a traditional air conditioner it doesn’t take the humidity out, it has the option to humidity the room. However it’s very powerful and will cool a fairly big room (8x8meters) in an hour or so. I bought a few packs of ice blocks for 2 and alternated them every so often so it blew out ice cold air.
For the money it’s been worth it’s weight in cold, during the ridiculously hot summer it kept the conservatory cool with the bunnys in so they didn’t overheat.

Needed something to put the moisture back into the air in our office as it gets very dry and stuffy in the afternoons.
So far the Mylek is doing a good job and its much more comfortable now even with the sun shining directly on to the window!
We needed 3 products for one living room and two bedrooms. My wife has allergies to dust and pollen so cannot open windows. This is not meant to be an air conditioner, but works very well for the cost, with a remote! We use the ion filter option to keep air cleaner and have the rear facing out of the room. This will work better with an exhaust flow out of the window, but we cannot do that. Try to have 2 sets of blue ice blocks and rotate between freezer and in the water chamber! In this current UK heatwave, its been a Godsend!
CONS: Unit is noisy even on the lowest fan and user mode settings. I guess it’s the price for that powerful fan. As it goes for use in the rest of the house and especially in large living room it’s awesome and then you really appreciate how strong the fan is. The only unnecessary features I’ve noticed so far in this unit are the 2nd & 3rd operating modes “natural wind” and “sleeping wind”. In my opinion all that happens when you turn them on is the starting and stopping of fan at irregular intervals which is actually very annoying and distracts you when you try to relax. For me the first mode “normal wind” is the best mode with most consistent sound and I stick to it as after couple of minutes you stop noticing the fan and just enjoy cool air. I recon that if designers would think it over a bit more and slow down the fan speed to almost silent running in the “sleeping wind” mode this appliance would be near to perfect design.
Overall I think it’s a good value for money in this price range and if you are not bothered by a bit noisier fan and sound of dripping of water from the rear evaporator in to the tank which is noticeable especially when the Humidifier mode is on. If you don’t mind this noise then this air cooler unit may be what you are looking for. Regards.

Circulates air well better with window open. Not too noisy. Easy to move around. Certainly made a difference in recent not weather.
WELL its superb my flat is small 1 bed, 1 kitchen 1, lounge and a small bathroom – air cooler is in the lounge ( south facing) i have my curtains shut and the patio doors and whilst its 30+ degrees on my decking its a lovely cool 21 degrees indoors! It works superbly cooling the whole flat and i always know when its the correct temperature as my Guinea Pig girls dont sleep all day they eat and play and they are very happy!
I have 1 ice pack in the water tray with fresh water ( ive been replacing it every other day but i am OCD) – easy to clean out and throw old water away just by unclipping the pump. I generally have it on for about 30 mins on cooler setting x 1 and on swing fan and this cools the flat down nicely. Then i just turn it off and have a normal fan on until i feel the need to cool off again.
Its not overly noisy ( i had an air conditioner once and its quieter than that). On wheels so easy to move around the flat and not heavy. Great to have a remote control too.
My lounge is 6 x 8 metres but the sun hits the back of the flat from sunrise until 1530 so as you can imagine it gets extremely hot in here – this little gem has helped and dare i say it – its my buy of the year!
