Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersGreat value for money - punches above its weight for the price!
This little camera was a doddle to fit, and at the price I think it punches well above it’s weight as they say. To get both front and rear cameras for simultaneous dual recording, at this price, I think is excellent value for money. The picture quality of the front camera is pretty good, the rear camera perhaps slightly less so, but again, for the money, I’m more than happy. The camera case actually feels quite well made too, and the sticky pad on the windscreen mount felt pretty strong when I stuck it on. I’ve only just fitted it today so can’t comment on the night time picture quality yet – I’ll leave that for others to comment on.

    Nice clear picture
Seems to have a really good front and rear picture. Haven’t had to try and save anything luckily as yet. But have peace of mind with it in the car. Good value for money so far.

I bought it maybe a month ago and it works good. If cars around moving around 50 km per hour – you can see their registration number, if ther speed like 80 kn per your +, not really ))For now I’m happy with this dashcam.

Very easy to set up and hide all the wires. Would recommend.
Easy to set up straight out of the box. I charged the camera, added a micro sd card (32gb only) and set up date, time etc. I connected the rear camera while charging but could not get it to display on the screen – don’t worry as it will appear when plugged into the car. Very easy to hide all the wires in the car.

The quality for the price is great, easy to plug in and set up, only issue I had was the little hooks it came with to keep the cables out of the way as they wouldn’t stick.
Works great and have it running as a front and rear camera.

Not bad at all just a pity the file format is ancient .AVI
Great little camera. The sticky clips stayed on just one day though.
I wish it wrote files in a modern format like .MP4 instead of ancient .AVI so i could easily read the files on my iPad.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersOrskey front and rear dash cam
Purchased as a Christmas present for my partner.

I do think the quality of the product is 5 stars. The customer service definitely is. I asked on the off chance for a usb connection rather than the cigarette lighter fitting. They did and sent it complimentary.

The rear camera is tiny but ever so clear and also shows in the top quarter of the screen.

Everything is in the box all you need to buy is a 32gb micro sd to record your journey.

For the price and by fitting the dash cam you should get a reduction on your car insurance so therefore your saving pays for the camera.

Nice to have for peace of mind
Really good dash cam only wish that rear camera didn’t record back to front! My husband installed the cameras and the rear camera had to be connected to one of the rear lights which involved cutting into one of the car light wires. He’s a dap hand at DIY so he done a great job. I’d have someone that is competent at DIY to install the rear camera.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersVery clever for the price
As others have said, the instruction manual is in places not very helpful, but with Orskey’s fast response to queries and one or two You Tube videos I’ve managed to set all the defaults and I’m not complaining. For the price it seems to do everything you could reasonably want, and in a very compact case. Everything you might need is in the box, and if you have an extra long car you can get a free extension to the rear camera cable. The only snag I’ve found is the very limited capacity of the battery; it really needs a permanent power supply – I’ve no idea yet how much it would drain my car battery (or which battery it would drain, since I have a hybrid) to leave it plugged in all the time, but switched off. I will try that in due course.

Both cameras work well . Simplest item I’ve ever installed in a car. Set up rear reversing camera middle and above number plate and use a car behind you to set it up so you can see it’s number plate.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersGreat Customer Service
I bought this unit some time ago and installed it only recently. After about 1 and 1/2 months the unit developed a fault and I could not get into the configuration settings. Emailed the companies customer service team and recieved a prompt reply with some advice. None of the actions suggested worked or could be used. I let them know so they asked for a video. I made a short video demonstrating the problem and within a few hours they had got back to me and let me know a replacement was on the way. I have installed the replacement and will let you know if any issues. Really pleased with the support which gives me confidence in buying their products.

The negatives are that the instructions with respect to the settings are not as clear as they could be (Hence the 4 stars) and of course there is a time lag (albeit within 12 hours max) with getting support by email. Look on you tube for videos to help with the settings.

Picture quality and recordings are fine and very useable.

Hope this has been of use.

    Very good customer service
The front camera was easy fitted and worked brilliant once you get the hang of the menu’s its very straight forward, the rear camera is more involved not only because of having to route the wire but it was upside down after I’d fitted it it was easy solved just turn it the other way which solved the problem but then i had to make a bracket for it to fit so a bit of a faff but again once fitted the images are clear even on a night. I ordered another one for my daughter and hers came with a little tool for getting in under the trims I asked about it and they have sent me it within a week so well impressed would happily recommend the item as ive had no problems with it and I’m sure if i did they would attempt to rectify them you dou need a sd card upto 32gb nothing bigger tho and i ordered mine at the same time to fit the front camera took about half an hour the back one longer cos of having to make a bracke

Had an issue with rear camera contacted customer service and explained that rear camera seldom worked and also it wasn’t connected to reverse.
Without hesitation was told a replacement would be forwarded and to expect in 15/20 days. I forgot about it and sure enough it arrived I believe well within the timescale advised, with a new length of cable.
Fitted it and works first time every time.

    Ordered for my daughters car.
The installation and set up is a doddle too (we only set up into lighter socket rather than running cable under headlining etc)
Camera quality is great and very clear.
Starts recording as soon as Ignition is on.

Only thing I’d point out is that (for me) the product title is a touch misleading in that it is called ‘Dash cam front and rear’ I thought this meant there were 2 cameras in the pack not just 1

Once you’ve got the camera sorted (the instructions are easy to follow) and placed onto your windscreen, I found (using a plastic spatula) the wiring easy to hide behind the panels. The camera is easy to set up and with the rear camera the Split View works really well. Good clear picture. Very pleased (don’t forget you’ll need a 32 gig card – anything bigger is not recommended.) Thanks very much.

I bought one of these cameras 2 years ago for my wife’s car was so impressed with it that in November 21 I bought one for my car. ( always had a company car before) with the hot weather the window sticker kept coming of so I emailed the company to buy the widow sucker, they asked me for my address and told me they would send one free of charge but it would take 10/15 days 7 days later it came through a carrier, not only the best camera on the market also it has a great company aftersales I would recommend this camera and the company

fantastic value & easy to fi
I asked the wife to buy me one for christmas a couple of years ago. I think she paid a tenner less than the current 42 back then, but have to say it’s a great little product and well worth the money and peace of mind, especially since i was the victim of a ‘crash for cash’ and couldnt prove it so ended up on a knock for knock basis as my insurance company wouldnt pursue it much to my displeasure, but that’s another story !!. It’s fitten in a fiesta but both cables are long enough to fit a bigger car. One bonus is that you get an extra mounting device in case you damage it, which i just did by pulling it off forgetting to release the suction, it’s a 5/5 from me all day long.

Excellent product except for the rear view camera mounting. If you try to bend it..it snaps because it’s made of aluminium!! And it’s useless for mounting on the inside of your rear windscreen. Best buy for my car yet.
Great quality. My saving grace when a car ran a red light and wrote me off the road. As it was quite late at night and not a well lit area I wasn’t sure what the quality would be like when I had to forward the footage, however the camera really surprised me and caught everything, even at 10pm! Easy to use (the buttons are a bit fidgety etc but once it’s set up it’s always turned on, always saves the videos if you have an SD card and there’s the option to save it if you need a particular couple seconds kept for future reference) it will overlap anything that hasn’t been saved so you don’t need to do anything.
I’ve recommended it to most friends and family. Easy to set up, always stays in place and always switches itself on (if plugged in) whenever the car is on. Definitely the best buy I’ve had for my car. The quality day or night is great, can’t knock it for the price

Front camera good, rear not so much.
Front facing camer is good, easy to install good picture quality, but a little fussy to operate.
The rear camera is average at best, poor mount, tricky to install and the cables is too short for anything larger than a small hatchback. Didn’t reach in a 3 door Freelander 1.

    Great value Dashcam
Installation and setup were simple (other than my own desire to hide all cables and wire in a dedicated power supply).

The dedicated front camera suction mount I found too large to discreetly place the camera – so I used the additional “glue” based mount (which I think was intended for the rear camera). The rear camera was attached internally using the screw based mount to attach on the underside of the high rear brake light enclosure using rivets (my own). Basically lots of versatility on mount options.

Set-up was a simple as can be: plug it all in, insert a SD card and off you go. The unit switches on and off automatically with the ignition. Display can show front/rear/front and rear, or be switched off. Front and rear cameras store the files in 3 minute chunks to two folders: one for the front and one for the rear. Recording quality is entirely acceptable and I would consider it excellent bearing in mind the price paid.

Overall an excellent unit at a great price.

    Great camera
The camera itself is great but the lead you plug into the cigarette lighter is rubbish. I bought two of these cameras and both leads just loose power quite a lot and you have to wiggle it to get in right place. I tried to buy an adapter because I thought it might be my car’s connection but the new connections works fine. It’s if the connection isn’t wide/long enough. I’ve now order a USB connection. Hopefully is works because I love the cash cam. Also if your buying this product, please buy 200gb sim as the 30gb only holds 2 hours worth fir front and back.

    Great value solutio
For the price, this is a very good solution. The front camera is surprisingly solid and well made and image quality is very good, even at night. The rear camera is lower resolution, given its small size, that’s not surprising, but image quality is adequate. Both cameras have a good wide-angle field of view and come with all necessary fittings and cables. A memory card is not supplied with the camera, but this is not surprising given the price and a decent quality card can be obtained for under 10. The maximum capacity is 32GB, with enables around 30 minutes of video to be captured on a rolling basis from both cameras simultaneously. Installation is pretty straightforward, the main tasks being finding the most suitable position for the front camera, where it won’t distract/obscure your view and running / hiding the cables. The cables are thin enough to push behind the headlining and in my case, I was able to tuck them neatly under the seals running around the doors / rear hatch so that they are practically invisible. It’s probably a good idea to check how you would site the cameras / run the cables before purchasing, so you can anticipate any difficulties in that regard.
The cameras were easy to set up and are very much ‘fix and forget’. Recordings can be ‘locked’ so they cannot be overwritten in the event of an incident occurring and if playback is required, the camera can be connected to a computer or, more easily the memory card removed. The camera has a shock sensor and the rear camera can be used as a reversing camera, although this requires external mounting and hard wiring to the reversing light. All in all a comprehensive well-made solution for a very reasonable price!

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersGreat for the price but a couple of little negatives
This is a great quality product for the price and very easy to install to the car. I bought a 32GB Micro SD Card for the product of the recommended class and it stores a lot of video. There are a couple of negatives to this product. It is supposed to start recording as soon as you turn the car on however sometimes it does not. The easy fix to this is press the OK button on the side of the camera which should begin the recording but this sometimes displays an error message saying the memory card is not compatible. It definitely is as I bought the Sandisk Class 10 32GB card from Amazon. The usual fix is to turn the car off and back on, it’s only a little thing but I’m a big believer in things working first time. The other thing I realised very quickly is to keep the Impact Detection setting on Medium, if you set it to high the memory card will fill up very quickly and the camera will stop recording.

The positives do strongly outweigh the negatives however. The picture quality is fantastic and the ease of installation was fantastic. I have both the front and rear camera installed. My only tip for the rear camera would be to get some 3M double sided stick pads as the included fixing is weak and the rear camera fell off.

Solid product for the price – if you’re looking for an affordable dash cam and aren’t bothered about WiFi features, this is for you.

Forward image great, rear image 720P and is a mirror image. Still good value package.
It does everything you need, time and date etc, it is not GPS but at this price it’s great value. I have a Nextbase forward only GPS camera which is great but I wanted a rear camera for those idiots who drive right up where the sun don’t shine.

The only down side is the rear camera is literally a mirror image, view it using a mirror and everything will look correct. I don’t know if there’s any software that can correct this.

Images are stored as A and B files, denoting the two cameras files. Even though the screen shows both cameras at once it stores them separately.

I’m using a Sandisk extreme 32Gb card which works but given it is recording two cameras it fills up quickly, so download any incidents as soon as you get home.

I was going to get a bigger card but several people report problems with them, so I’m going to keep a spare 32Gb card so I can keep any incidents by taking that card out until I get a chance to upload it.

Great picture quality and resolution, easy to use.
The window mount is secure and won’t move in use, plenty of length in the cabling for my car and easy to connect the single wire to the rear reversing light for the rear camera.

Picture quality is 1080P and very clear without vibration distortion, sensors start and stop recording when motion is detected or impact.

Impressed with its performance for the price paid, with the reversing camera a useful addition to have. Decent camera for the money.

A nice dashcam with a very bright screen and loads of menu options for setting up to your preferences.

    Good for the price
on first appearance the camera looks good quality and robust. The set up and button functions took a little bit of working out. I thought the actual camera mount onto the suction cup was a bit flimsy and in use even though the securing ring was tightened the camera works loose and then turns in the mount. I have only used it once and am still trying to work out what exactly has been recorded ? the main problem for me is that the cable for the rear camera is not long enough (long wheel base van) and although the info with the camera suggests there is an extension for LWB available (free?) by contacting the support I have yet to receive any info back (2 weeks +). little bit disappointed.

    A Dashing Desig
A very nifty addition to the car.

With a little jovial song upon starting the ignition, the clear image on the screen turns on to a choice of different views: front, front and back (small), side by side front and back, back and front(small) and just rear camera view.

The wire that comes with the camera is nice and long and will easily fit ant vehicle. I have managed to hide most of mine in the trim and stuck the front camera to the windscreen.

The rear camera is small and can be mounted to the exterior but I found it much easier to stick it to the inner trim of my car and get a good view out of the rear window.

The camera can also take stills in the case of an accident so you have all of the evidence on one memory card.

(Don’t use larger than a 32gb so card or you’ll get an error message!)

The rear camera looks like it is supposed to come with an angked attachment for the inside of the vehicle, however mine didn’t come with one but have made do!

The design itself is very slick – could easily rival some standard digital pocket cameras out there with great picture quality and a sleek screen with great feeling buttons. The camera doesn’t feel cheap and is easy to set up.

Don’t forget to tell your insurers about the camera and they may even knock some premium off of yiur car insurance for having this attached.

Better to be safe than sorry – I definitely reccomend this product or at least a car camera for your safety if yiu drive!

ORSKEY S800 Dash Cam Front and Rear.
I didn’t expect a lot from this camera because of the very low price tag but, (although I have currently only used it for a week), I was very pleasantly surprised.
This is my third dashcam and my previous ones, (although a lot more expensive), did not even come close to the quality of picture and reliability of the Orskey camera.
The colours are pleasant and not artificial looking and car number plates are clear and easy to read.
The rear camera with a bit of patience and slight bending of the bracket mounted very easily with double sided tape.
Fingers crossed that the successful first week of use continues and if so I have no hesitation in highly recommending this camera.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersInterrupts DAB radio signal
Bought two, one for my car and one for my wife. Installed in my x5 and then noticed my DAB reception was now poor. Initially thought I may have caught something hiding wires behind dash etc. After trial and error found that it was the 12v lead when the camera was on. Was the same in the wife’s x1 (maybe this is a BMW thing?). Substituted the power lead and plug for another and now fine in both cars (although that’s a few hrs I won’t get back working out the issue)
Also the position of the rear camera in the x1 stopped signal when on. This was corrected by repositioning a few cm (must have been near the car antenna in the rear window)
The camera itself is excellent value. Good quality feel and easy to use. Buttons feel solid. Mount is also sturdy and with good adjustment. Rear cam fitting requires some thought. I didn’t want to drill the interior trim so made brackets and re-fitted trim panels (see pics). It took me a few hrs to really hide all wires and pull through dash and roof lining.
My brother also has one and installed in 20 mins but he has left cable showing and did simply screw rear cam into place through trim.
Worth checking radio reception before installing and if there is an issue then try a different power supply as that fixed my issue

Pretty decent with a few caveats
Firstly I was a bit annoyed. I bought the front and rear cam but the rear one needs to be wired into the rear park light and only records when you are reversing. I’m not comfortable messing with the electrics on my car but it’s only 1 wire and seems like a mechanic could do it for cheap. I however thought it would record front and rear simultaneously to catch those idiots who try and aggressively overtake you. The 24 hr surveillance mode only works if you buy a separate kit for 15 which is an extensive network of wiring that you will have to have a mechanic hook up. Too much to bother with. I have worked out that you can use a USB external battery for that mode. However a 20’000 mah battery was completely drained in 48hrs with motion detection recording on. The camera itself is built well, however the speakers are so low volume they’re virtually useless. Also plugging the micro sd card into my phone to view footage wouldn’t work, so pc only. The fitting is solid and although the manual could be clearer the actual unit is easy to use. There is a tiny battery inside which lasts 5 minutes so it needs to be plugged in at all times in use. It comes on by itself and records automatically. Shuts itself off automatically too. If you put the screen saver on you can almost forget its there which is good. Viewed on the computer the video quality is good, the sound isn’t bad. It records in a 3 min loop. Does not come with a micro sd card. Needs a headphone jack in stead of speakers and could use a better battery so you can view footage away from the cars power outlet – although USB chargers work in the house. Overall I’m fairly happy with it, it’s a good little device at a good price point. However I feel the 24hr protection claim on the item listing should really make explicit that it won’t work without buying and fitting an extensive wiring system so far out of the Normal humans ability to hook up. I also couldn’t get the night vision to work.

    Excellent Camera for the price
The camera comes really well packaged and when removing it from the box I was really surprised by the weight and build quality. with a large LCD display on the rear and an all metal case with discrete silver buttons on the outside edges, the look and feel is quality. Installing a 64Gb Memory card it quickly became apparent that the limit for the card is 32Gb (not a problem, just an observation)
To access the menus you click OK (to stop recording) and then use the simple buttons to move between the clearly labeled menu levels, changing the settings as you go.
I used the optional installation kit (see other review) but the provided lighter socket adapter works well and has a long enough lead for installation.
The camera works really well and the picture quality for the forward camera is excellent with an acceptable quality from the rear camera.
The self adhesive mounting is the only part that has a slightly cheap feel to it, however I had no problems using it to mount the camera to the windscreen.
Really please with this item and will be buying again for another car!

    Great picture quality
I brought this for my van, great picture quality front and back.
Rear camera cable was long enough to be hidden and run along the roof on the side, to the back of my short wheel base transit van, and then go outside and sit in the middle looking down at the back. (I didn’t need to attach the red cable?)
I already have a sturdy bracket outside to attach the rear camera to.
Plenty of the power cable aswell, manage to hide that down the sides of the windscreen, and behind the dash and come out next to my aux socket.
Like being able to change the veiw on the screen to a combination of front and rear camera as I have the rear camera to help check behind me.
Need to adjust my aux socket as its live, even with ignition off, so camera would be on all the time if I don’t unplug it but this shows the
motion activation works OK, as the camera is activated as I get in, before I’ve plugged it back in.
    Overall very happy

Perfect dashcam at a bargain price
Very impressed with this piece of kit.
Came well packaged and with good clear instructions, although there are some amusingly translated words such as ‘warm tips’!
Very easy to install, the cable to the rear camera is very long indeed, I have a big estate car and there was at least a metre of cable left to be tucked away into the headlining.
Could do with a better mount for internal mounting in the tailgate of an estate car (I didn’t need the reverse function as my car already has a reversing camera), but I managed to adapt a few bits from the mounting provided which worked ok. This probably applies to hatchbacks too.
Picture and recording quality are excellent, front camera is full HD and rear is VGA which is fine for most purposes.
Highly recommended, and a stern challenger to much more expensive camera setups
    Plus:
    Well packaged
    Well constructed
    Ease of installation
    Wide range of mounts provided
    Good picture and recording quality
Easy to set up and use
    Minus:
No specific mount for rear window of estate cars
No GPS (but at this price….who really cares?)

Excellent Dashcam with excellent rear camera included
Ordered this dash camera after looking at the reviews on Amazon and I have to say, I am so glad I did. The camera arrived in excellent condition and very quickly. This camera came with a rear facing camera so you can record from behind which is one of the reasons why I purchased it. I had a good friend who had been involved in an attempted ‘crash and cash’ scandal and I wasn’t prepared to be victim to such a scam. I opened up the neatly presented box and inside is the actual unit. The unit itself feels heavy and excellent quality. The screen is a nice size and the buttons on the side are perfect for my hands. The design is excellent too, lovely shiny black that looks sleek. Inside the box contains clear instructions, a standard AC power supply to plug into any cigarette lighter in the car, a USB wire for transferring contents to a computer, the rear facing camera and connector and 2 suction holders to attach the camera to your window. The rear camera can be installed on either the back window or above the rear license plate if you prefer. Instructions clearly instruct you how to do both. The UI is simple to navigate and quick to set up. Installed in my car and so far, it has been performing exceptionally. The night vision is also very good which is important for anyone who wants it for that purpose. Really high resolution pictures and videos. Overall, I’m very happy with this camera. Thank you Orskey

Great quality, great features, great price.
Really amazing quality at a fraction of the price I’d expected to pay. I’d been looking at similar products for close to 100 but this unit is excellent value.

I’m quite fussy about my electronics, particularly video equipment so I was a little sceptical about the price, until it arrived. It’s a solid camera that feels well made the moment you take it out the box.

The menu system and manual are not great, but are perfectly adequate. The picture quality is very good, (I can’t see the point in a dash cam unless you can read number plates).

The reversing camera was a lovely bonus feature and not as daunting to set up as I thought.

There’s a little red wire on the rear camera cable, and all you have to do is find the cables going into your car’s reversing light, and shove the bare end of the wire into the crimp connector on the reversing light power cable. Then wrap a little electrical tape around it to keep it secure.

Then every time you put the car into reverse, the dash cam will automatically switch to rear camera view, complete with some on screen guide boxes so you can line up your parking spaces perfectly and know exactly how much space you have behind you.

All in all, well made, excellent features for a great price.

Absolutely loved it.. it was my first dashcam and I didn’t want a very fancy one.. something that records my everyday school runs as traffic is mad here at the moment due to construction going on at the school something that doesn’t cost a kidney and does the job and it fits the bill. I’m amazed with the picture quality and not only that I am actually using it as a reverse camera as well ( even though I have parking sensors) but it comes really handy.. installation didn’t take too long either.. I have a Honda Jazz newer model and I did the installation all by my self and it took only an hour or may be less.. hiding the wires was very easy all I did was just used a flat head screw driver and poked the wire into the plastic body around the windscreen and then under the dashboard and tied the extra wire with a cable tie and hid it behind the cup holder.. fitting the back camera I ran the wire the same way but Instead bringing it down to the dashboard brought it to the back tucking it over the passenger seat window frame then brought it all the way to the back screen and there I didn’t scew it to the metal frame but used the double sided tape (came with the cam) and stuck the cam there again tied up the left over cable and hid it under the plastic body..hard to explain here but there is a very helpful video on YouTube to follow. I didn’t have to take out any plastics of the car to hide the wire.. over all I would recommend it to my friends and would definitely purchase it again.

Surprising value and quality for the price
I was looking for a dash cam without spending a fortune, nothing fancy, something I could stick on the windscreen and plugin. I was really surprised with what I got when I opened the box and started going through the instructions and seeing what the camera could do. Firstly, I hadn’t given a lot of thought in to power and cabling, especially with the rear camera, which again was a bonus I’d not gone looking for. The instructions helped me to work things through and plan where the cameras and cabling would go in my car. The features on the camera are good, and more than I wanted when really just looking for a camera to record while I was driving.

I’d say the downsides of the camera are the night vision which seemed worse than I would have expected. Good enough and fine when driving to pick out other vehicles on the road but for stationary parked recording in a poorly lit area it didn’t perform as well as I would expect; that said, it wasn’t something I bought the camera for. The other downside is the storage, with it only being limited to a max of 32GB MicroSD card. In this day and age I’d expect at least a max size of 64GB but preferably more given how cheap storage cards are these days. It would be nice to not have to manage the storage quite so much.

Aside from that, this is a very good product for the price and should be considered if you’re looking to fit something in your vehicle.

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersFeature packed camera - great value for what you ge
Having now installed the camera, I am very impressed with its performance for the price paid, with the reversing camera a useful addition to have.
During normal driving, the unit shows the front view with the reverse view visible in the top corner. Both of these are recorded onto the sd card, in separate folders. One thing I found is that the reverse camera doesn’t turn on unless you use the supplied car power supply, or a hardwire kit. It won’t turn on if powered off a usb adaptor for some reason. During the normal operation the reversing camera is powered off the mini hdmi cable. You only need to hook up to the reversing light if you want it to function as a reversing camera as well.
If you connect the red wire on the reversing camera up to your reversing light, the rear camera will activate when you go into reverse gear. Here the LED’s on the camera turn on and the display will go into full screen for reversing with lines on the screen giving an indication on distance.
Wiring up the reversing camera was aided by the there being a join in the mini hdmi cable about 2 foot from the camera, meaning can start hiding the wire behind the trim at the front. It also means if the camera goes wrong will be able to swap without needing to replace the whole wire which would be time consuming.
One drawback I found was that the red wire for connecting the rear camera to the reversing light was too short for my car (to make sure that the join in the mini hdmi cable was in a semi accessible place), so I had to join an additional length of wire on.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersCompact and good build quality.
I bought this camera kit to put in a new vehicle, for driving but also as parking protection, after the recent experience of getting my last car smashed into in a car park; I also purchased the hard wire kit to supply the camera direct from the battery.

The build quality seems very good and camera compact and unobtrusive when mounted on the windscreen. The suction cup/silicone seem very good quality and the mounting and camera has adhered very strongly to the windscreen, with a good amount of adjustability to change angles and prioritise a particular direction regarding where I am parked.

I didn’t read the instructions as I was short of time- just plugged it in to the cigarette lighter and set off. As soon as the camera had power it turned on and started to record automatically. When I had chance I had a very quick read through the instructions and fine tuned the set up, which was very, very easy. I haven’t fitted the hard wire kit or the rear camera yet, but they come with detailed, yet straightforward instructions.

I’ve not had reason to upload footage, but certainly the resolution and images captured through the rear camera display seem good quality, even at night time. Although the internal battery is apparently just to save settings, it does store enough power to turn on and record a number of times in “park mode”, essentially protecting you if you get bumped- the camera activates when closing the doors, so should pick up being hit while stationary…

I think overall, you can’t go wrong at the price, it’s very little money for peace of mind and a decent quality bit of kit. All the supporting documentation is quite thorough from Orksey, promising to replace equipment such as the suction pad- should it wear out.

    Dash Cam Review
After purchasing a new car I was involved in a couple of close calls with “very aware and intelligent” drivers both from the front and the back. Once those happened I decided to invest in a dash cam in order to feel slightly more comfortable as to be able to provide proof if (knocking on wood never happens) am involved in a car accident or somebody flees a scene, etc.

Now for the cam, compared to prices here in Bulgaria it is way way cheeper and has much more extra features and better quality. I was quite impressed by that. The installation was pretty easy and straightforward (for a person that does is not a DIY car enthusiast and does not know much besides driving it). The cables were long enough that I was able to hide them away under the car interior (plastics and rubbers around doors/windows, although note my car is a small one so had plenty of extra cable left even with the hoops of hiding it perfectly). Once I cabled everything up and glue the rear cam to my back window all I did was plug it into the cigar lighter slot and turn on my car. It immediatelly started recording (note you have to provide the small SD card by yourself). I did a test drive around the parking and to be honest the view was quite nice on the display, and you could at all times see the rear cam as well (I did not wire it to my rear gear lights, since my car has a rear parking cam by default and I do not need to turn it full screen when going backwards). Once I was done with the test I went home, popped out the card and in to my PC to see the footage and was quite impressed. The rear cam is obviously lower quality but is good enough to be able to see what is happening and even see the license plate (in case somebody hits you from the back and runs away). I haven’t yet tested all the features (such as motion detection, parking mode, G sensor, etc) since I was only interested in using it as a driving dash cam. Now I feel much better and confident when driving around. Hopefully this review is helpful, and I do recommend this small piece of tech that could save you from a lot of trouble and pain.

    Thanks!

    Summary
    * A good quality camera at an affordable price which can be compared to leading brand in terms of video and built quality.
    Pros
    * Perfect pricing point given that you are getting 2 cameras at an affordable price
    * Front camera is full HD at 30FPS which provides a smooth transition between frames
    * Back camera is VGA quality
    * Night vision is decent, but beware that incident lighting on number plates will make the appear like ghostly. You need to be in direct line with number plates with correct lighting to be able to capture at night
    * SD card support upto 32GB means you have plenty of space. SD cards are very cheap these days
    * Easy to operate and menu is very easy to navigate to change settings
    * I tested G-Senor by dropping the camera and it does lock the footage so cannot be deleted directly from camera
    * Timestamp across all photos and videos
    * Large LCD screen
    * Wide viewing angle
    Cons
    * Rear camera is VGA which is not as superior as the full HD
    * No smartphone connectivity and SD card must be taken out and put in a PC/Laptop to be read

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersGreat product, low price
This dash cam is my first but was very easy to connect to my car. It took around 30 minutes to get both the front and rear cameras up and running. I wanted to hard wire the car in order to utilise parking mode as I live in a bit of a rough area. That took a couple of hours but that is mostly due to the difficulty in reaching the fuse box of my car. All very simple to do, all things considered.

The picture quality is great and the rear view camera is visible on the screen as you drive (the front and rear cameras save to different video files, however).

It’s not perfect and I have a couple of minor issues with it:

    – The manual is extremely hard to see, being in a tiny font. Luckily, a little playing around with the camera will help you figure it out quickly, but would still be nice to have clearer instructions for complex functions like parking mode.

    – The Rear view camera comes with an adhesive pad to stick to a surface, however, it is not very sticky and falls off. I ended up sticking it down with a bit of masking tape in the end as well as jamming the brace into a corner to keep it fixed. The brace does have holes in it and comes with screws but who will want to drill holes into their car just for that?

All in all, great camera, however. Durable too – I’ve dropped it a couple of times onto a wooden floor because I’m clumsy… no damage at all.

Good little camera for the price
The picture quality is good for the price, with the rear view and night pictures especially standing out as being better than the previous camera I had. The camera is small and compact and seems to be working well. The only down sides found so far is that on maximum resolution with the highest SD card inserted, it only records for under two hours before starting to overwrite the footage. So if you wanted to record for longer (say if you left the vehicle in a car park and wanted to catch anyone hitting it whilst you are not there) you would need to take the resolution down to increase the record time. I have not yet tried this and cannot say how much extra record time you would get or how much the picture would degrade…no good capturing a hit and run if you cannot identify the culprit! Something else I want to find out is whether the screen can be turned off when driving as it can be distracting. But quite frankly, for under 40, getting this is a no brainer!

Really nifty little product - impressed!
Really impressed with the little camera. I bought one after some horror stories from friends about incidents they’d had and thought it was a wise idea.

The product features a front and back camera, the back being small and cube-shaped and the front looking like a digital camera. Both have separate cables but hook up to the main camera.

Unlike many dash cams I’ve looked at, it can be powered from the cigarette lighter and this was a major plus for me. The instructions to the product are not brilliant, but I would recommend typing the product name into YouTube and there are lots of tutorials/unboxings/etc to show you how to set it up. It can take some time to set up properly and hide all the wires etc (the video I watched suggested feeding the wires along certain cars parts, like around the top of the windscreen and between the windscreen and the internal fascia) and this works really well as they are hardly visible. I will say that the micro-USB cable connecting the camera to the cigarette lighter was a bit too short but I purchased a micro-USB extender from Amazon/eBay (1.5m was ideal) and this solves the problem perfectly. There’s a red wire that attaches to the back cam, I believe it can be wired into the reversing lights (don’t quote me on this! I’m not sure exactly what this is for), but I haven’t bothered with this and videos I watched on YouTube claim it isn’t strictly needed.

The picture quality is excellent and the camera comes to life as soon as I put the engine on. I haven’t had it long and we will see how it stands the test of time.

Overall, highly recommended – I’ve since bought one for my parents after a recent incident they had (thankfully minor) and just hope now I don’t actually need to use the footage for anything! Fingers crossed!

I got this camera yesterday and I had it installed and working in less than one hour. And I am not a technician at all, neither consider myself skilled when it comes to handling electronic systems. It’s worth saying that I skipped connecting the rear camera to the reverse light, but it’s working nevertheless (front and rear camera). The reverse camera had to cables only, one I connected to the front camera and the other, a red, which was supposed to go to the reverse light. I completely ignored the red one but the camera is still recording, so I assume I am only missing the automatic switch when reversing. It’s also valid to point that I opted to put the camera inside the rear window, as I didn’t want to drill the car.

I drove yesterday night and the quality was OK, for both cameras. For the front one, if I’m too close to the car in front, the light reflected won’t let me see the plates. For the rear camera, it’s just a bit too much to handle but you can see something, just not details. Have a look at my footages (and ignore the timestamp, I thought I had set it up but it seems it didn’t save).

In summary: it is really easy to install and get it working. The quality for day driving is really good and for the night, it’s quite fair. Considering the price I paid for this camera, I can only recommend it, really.

    Great dash cam
This is a high quality product and is very easy to use. The build is strong, with a mainly metallic construction. The screen is large enough that you can easily see the picture, yet the bezels are small enough so that the overall unit size is not too bulky. The most difficult part of the process is routing the wires in the car, but once that’s figured out you don’t need to worry about it. When you turn your car on it starts recording automatically to a micro SD card (not included), and when you turn the car off it stops recording. It will loop record and overwrite old footage so that the memory card doesn’t get full. It also has a G sensor that will save footage permanently if it detects an incident or collision.
If you want to add the rear camera it’s a little more tricky, as you need to wire it to your brake lights to power it. Both cameras have night vision, although it does become less effective with distance. All in all, this is a great package and I highly recommend it for someone looking for an easy to use, good quality dashcam.

    *Update*
After my rear camera stopped working, I contacted Orskey and they offered to send me a replacement free of charge. Excellent customer service and highly recommend.

I’ve been using a re-purposed action camera that had a broken zoom for a dash cam. Though very basic it works fine but I wanted to get a rear view camera as well and there was no way to do it using this.

I’ve taken the chance on the Orskey based on what I’ve seen of it and here are my views.

It looks like a proper camera and feels very robust when you pick it up. On the other end of the scale, the rear camera is tiny and light.

I really can’t fault it for ease of installation. It comes supplied with ample lengths of cable for both the main and the rear camera. Now, to allay a couple of myths I’d spotted when reading some of the other reviews.

Power cable. Yes, the main camera on it’s own will work quite happily on a 5v USB cable BUT it will not run the rear camera as well with this cable. To have the rear camera displayed and recorded you must use the supplied 12v cable. I only found this out after ordering an extended 5v mini USB cable and then spent an hour trying to work out why the rear camera wasn’t working.

Rear camera. There is a red power cable supplied with the rear camera. If you wish to use the camera as a reversing camera then you need to wire the red cable up to the reversing lights. If you want to have the camera permanently on then do not wire the red cable up to anything. Just use the supplied mini HDMI cable supplied. Thinking about it after the fact, the IR lights on the rear camera won’t work unless the red power cable is connected so this may be an idea if you want this feature.

The camera starts up and begins recording automatically when the car is turned on assuming you have non permanently on 12v sockets. Otherwise you’ll either need to turn it on/off when driving or use it to continually monitor the vehicle but of course there will be a power drain aspect there you need to take into account. I’ve not used and won’t used the parking monitor aspect so can’t comment on it’s effectiveness. It will turn off 5 seconds after the power is cut to the camera.

The image quality is very good. Sharp and well defined with good colours and the ability to record audio as well.

A minor whinge I have is that the power supply does not have a USB pass through so where I had a dual USB adapter I lost that when I installed the camera. I have since bought a cupholder type 12v socket splitter which I’ve fitted which gives me back my USB points at the front of the car.

A great camera and I’m very happy with it.

Rear camera was not working, received replacement. Support good!
So after checking the Q&A section, it eems that a few others are having the same issue where their units do not detect the rear camera. Resetting the camera doesn’t resolve it.

Contacting the seller direct, we agreed on a replacement, and they said they would provide a tracking number. I have yet to receive the tracking number or replacement.

I have seen loads of people put pictures up of this, but none it seems have a photo of it with a working rear camera. Apparently when it does work, it’ll show top right of the screen.

Things you will want to know:
    * Camera requires a 5v 1A connection to power it.
    * It does have a minimal battery inside which will power it for ‘parking mode’
    * You will need at least a 4m long mini USB cable to wire this in.
    * Mouting the camera up high is the best position to capture everything.
    * They have no website (orskey)
    * Maximum 32GB micro SD card support
    * You can use a USB powerbank for it, but it will require it support passthru charging.
    * They do have email support:
    nslookup
    > set type=mx
    > orskey.com
    Server: 8.8.8.8
    Address: 8.8.8.8#53

    Non-authoritative answer:
    orskey.com mail exchanger = 5 mxbiz1.qq.com.
    orskey.com mail exchanger = 10 mxbiz2.qq.com.

Low star rating due to rear camera not working.

    ——–
Update (about a week after delivery)
After talking to support via their email address (this was listed on the paperwork in the package), they have arranged a replacement and sent me a tracking number.

    ——
    Update
Received the new unit and it’s working fine. Their support is actually quite good.
The rear camera, when working, can be displayed as a side-by-side or in picture (top right of screen).

Changed to 5 star rating due to support being good and replacement working.

Golden Review Award: 197 From Our UsersExcellent dash cam!
My partner has just purchased her first car so as a surprise I wanted to buy her a dash cam as both a gift and as protection should any accidents occur.

This dash cam is a fantastic purchase for the price, the dash cam is a gloss black design with a silver front, it features a very generous screen for navigating through the menus and aligning the camera to the road.

The camera comes with many different recording types supporting up to 1080p. Loop recording is integrated on the camera so you never have to wipe the SD card just simply let the camera do all the work for you.

Installation was easy as I already had some panel removal tools to hide the wires you need no knowledge to use this device it’s just plug in and play you don’t even have to adjust any settings unless you wish too and all these settings are explained in the manual provided.

Very happy with my dash cam and for the price it’s a steal!

When they sent me the first DashCam the rear one had a fault in The Wire so wasn’t being detected by the front camera. when I raise the issue with orskey customer service they immediately got back in touch sent me a replacement instantly which works perfectly and is a very good DashCam. just wanting to make the point that their customer service is excellent. Would 100% reccomend this dashcam.

Golden Review Award: 254 From Our UsersI highly recommend buying this camera. Thank you
Oh my goodness what a great dash cam. It took me 20 mins to set the front and back camera up hiding the wires behind the rubber seals. You just plug the one cigarette adapter into your cigarette connection after connecting the front and back wire adapters into the top of the camera. I am using a 32GB SD card into the side of the camera. It has easy to follow instructions. I will use this with 3/4 of the back camera and 1/4 of the front. I have had dash cameras before but no way as good and such a good price as this one. I have also had a separate back camera both individually bought cost way above this dash cam. I have just bought a new 19 number plate Ford KA +
Zetec and there is enough wiring for a longer car. I can really recommend this camera. Su.

Golden Review Award: 117 From Our UsersThe perfect silent witness should one have an accident.
Delivery arrived on time as arranged and undamaged.

On opening the package, I was immediately impressed with the quality of the Dash-Cam and later in the day set about checking it out in house with both cameras connected and was very happy with the quality of the pictures. I may be wrong (not being a camera expert), but the 170 view angle mentioned in the spec. would seem to be applicable to the screen viewing angle, as a rough measure of the front camera lens viewing angle, I calculated to be aprox. 90 which never the less, produced a very satisfactory wide picture. The Reversing camera was not tested, as I already have same in my car, neither did I check the Night Vision as I don’t drive at nights. Shall fit in car at weekend.

Incidentally, prior to making my purchase, I sent an enquiry to Orskey pace, who replied to me the same day (good service).

Without hesitation, I have already recommended this same dash-cam to my friend who is interested in the reversing camera mode.

Golden Review Award: 76 From Our UsersNice product and helpful company
The front camera has a nice wide angle video with enough resolution to show number plates. Good to have a rear camera included that plums straight into the main unit via a single wire, saving the need for an independant rear dashcam and associated extra wiring and power supply. Both cameras record simultaneously to different directories on the SD card. Orskey were quick to respond to a query after purchase. Hopefully I’ll never need to test the camera’s features in anger but it’s nice to know it’s there for when one of the lunatics on my commute inevitably cuts the margins a bit too fine.

Golden Review Award: 115 From Our UsersVery useful, must have!
I think everyone should be driving with a dash cam because you never know when you are going to come across an idiot on the road. This gives a front and rear video of the car which is great to have, giving you piece of mind. You need to purchase your own SD card to store the footage though, as there isn’t one that comes with the box. The accessories to mount the dash cam are great and this is of great value. Recommended.

Golden Review Award: 31 From Our UsersA good gift ORSKEY Front and Rear 1080P full HD Dual Dash Camera
My husband works in a taxi, regular work at the wheel requires special care on the road. So he asked for a birthday Dual Dash Camera, as a gift for me, I don’t mind. Although for 10 years of driving there were no problems, but what the hell is not joking, it is better to be safe. Firstly, a necessary and useful thing, secondly, a good gift. He himself sat on the Internet, selected a model for himself and finally chose it. Here his husband says and showed the picture. It was an ORSKEY 1080 DVR Dual Dash Camera DVR.
Took this camera on Amazon about a week ago.
. I do not remember exactly how much I paid, but it seems like 39.99 pounds.
Now he is at home, more precisely the box at home, and the registrar in the car. Personally, I liked the price of an incomplete 40 pounds, since good DVRs are much more expensive in stores. But her husband chose a completely different qualities.
The camera is very compact and with all the Spartan equipment it fits in a small box.
The equipment consists of a mounting system on a hinge with a suction cup, a power adapter from 12 to 5 volts, with a very long cord, a rear-view camera on a special mount with a component cord, warranty, a DVR, that is, everything you need. The manufacturer did not include any additional HDMI cables and tulips. Those wishing to connect to the TV will have to buy them.
The design and ergonomics of the camera on top.
Camera with a viewing angle of 170 degrees. On the left and right, six infrared diodes for night shooting were placed symmetrically. A pretty good microphone is located behind two parallel holes. If you do not speak in a whisper, then everything is heard normally when played.
Controls in the form of buttons are located on the sides.
On the left to the right, there was an on / off button, a menu navigation button, a menu button, a selection button, a button to switch between video and photo, another button for moving through sections, and finally a hole for resetting settings.
At the top there is a power socket, and HDMI and AV outputs are located along the edges.
A micro SD card is inserted from the side. The device has no built-in memory.
I have a card for 16 gigs, but the maximum is supported by the camera up to 32 gigs.
3.0 inch display. The image is clear. When you turn on and off with a pleasant sound saver appears. The camera records video in cycles. You can choose from 2 to 10 minutes. I chose 10 minute cycles. The recording cycle is reflected on the screen. If desired, the screen can be turned off. The recording will continue. There is a motion sensor. It works really. Can be used as a security system at night. But only with a working battery. A weak battery will drain until morning.
I have selected VGA video mode. If you choose a high-frequency format, the files are incredibly large, but the video quality does not improve significantly. Obviously, the manufacturer has gone too far with Full HD, using interpolation.
Files are saved in AVI format.
No problem produced both on TV and on the computer.
Infrared rays make their way through about 5-6 meters in absolute darkness. And with the headlights turned off, visibility is normal throughout the entire light boundary. In short, the video shot at night is also good.
Due to its compactness, the device does not in any way interfere with the view from the driver’s seat. When driving and stopping at intersections, traffic lights do not remain outside the lens.
Summarizing what has been said, I note that, of course, the camera of the stars from the sky is not enough, and it would be foolish to expect super quality video and photo materials at such a price, but it did not hit the face with dirt.
I place the link on the view from this camera. As they say, it’s better to see once …
It happens in white and black. Its feature is a high-definition camera and video recording is also high-definition, an ultra-wide high-resolution lens, the language is Russian and you can choose French, English, avi format, the video recording resolution factor is 1080, continuous loop video, no leak of a second, 64 MB of internal memory , a savings card up to 32 GB, it looks like this.
It’s very convenient in the ORSKEY 1080 DVR Dual Camera DVR that starts working itself when the machine starts and turns off when it stops.

By the way, the DVR has already come in handy twice. Once the girl on the car handed back and not examined in the mirror, drove into our car, not much, but offensively. The DVR filmed everything, and another case, when my husband was at work and was driving to the entrance, a man drove into it, I do not remember where exactly I damaged the car, but I just wanted to be outraged, I saw the registrar and agreed with my mistake.
So, all cars, radio, should have good recorders like our ORSKEY 1080 DVR Dual Camera. Take an example, this device will save you a lot of money.

Golden Review Award: 12 From Our UsersAstounded for £40. Though not perfect.
Ive had a few dash cams and ive been slowly kitting out our cars with them over the last 2 years or so
Ive been for ones that have been single articles and ones that have cost around 150 before
Ive got to say…for the price…this is an absolutely excellent piece of kit!
Though it is not without flaws
Setup was quite tricky…they provided lots and lots of excess wires which mean that slotting and losing the excess in the trimming around the car so it was hidden took some doing…around an hour in total to install everything from scratch
The build quality of the front camera is quite solid. I have had one of these before, and its nearly identical
For entry level dash cam the video quality isnt that bad.
It has some quite nice features to it…
The main feature which really struggles with is night footage…its not great. Its alright but given that these can be improved massively using inbuilt software…i find it a shame…its mainly becuase it doesnt cope well with low lighting…so it over compensates then when ypu go past say a bright streetlamp…it goes white because its over exposed so then it over compensates again…leaving you with either slightly to bright or too dark footage
But Ill be honest…as this is a entry level set…I would say this is to expect
One thing I do love about this is that its a full set.
You dont have to buy 2 seperate cams and fiddle trying to get them to communicate
The small cam is really small so doesnt obstruct anything and it doesnt have its own screen
But it connects to the front and displays alongside the front view
Then if you choose to connect it into your brake light…then when you start to reverse it fills the dashcam display
Effectively meaning youve got parking cameras
I think this is great as honestly the one thing I wish the ford Kuga we have had was parking sensors or cameras
    Now it does!
We had difficulty fitting the rear connector into the brake light…but that was more because ford have made it very difficult to do
The camera has a few good features which are basically your essentials
    Video lock
    Time display
    Motion detection for breakins
Disruption detection if youre in a crash etc..
But its best one is definitely the reverse parking vision
Now my main criticism is the fact that the back camera is designed so you screw into the plastic st the back of your car
For me…i wouldnt dream of it
And I imagine for people renting/leasing cars…they wouldn’t want to do this either
So instead I got some double sided stick tape and stuck it to the inside of the trim…out of the way and wont make a mark
This is my criticism because I had to buy some to do this…and i was suprised it didnt come with any…because normally they come with several methods of attaching
Other than this..i have yet to find any other major faults
I will continue using ans see how it fairs the test of time!
Overall though…for its cost I can definitely live with those Drawbacks!

Fantastic, great quality, easy to setup. I’m really glad I have this now as it’s extra security for me when car is parked and whilst driving. As a new driver this will really come in handy.

The quality is true to the description. The instructions are good for the front dash cam and explain everything. Well worth the money for that little bit of extra security. Would recommend to others.

Excellent. It is great. Easy to install and use. Great picture quality. Instructions are good and clear. Also has good option to wire it in to reversing light so acts as a parking camera whilst reversing. It is a worthy purchase.
