Received item early,, not waterproof as when I went to put the parasol up in the garden the winch winder was full of water,,how I don’t know,, just hope it keeps it clean and somewhat dry ,,cheap but not very good…

Does the job
This is a good cover which does the job, the main issue I have is getting it on and off the parasol, I have to use a broom to lift it over the top as it is a tall parasol.
A bit flimsy
Not sure if it is waterproof, not had any rain since it arrived. I don’t think it would stand up to a lot of rain.
Good cover @ good price
Bought this to protect our parasol from the weather and so far so good. Had plenty of interment weather and it’s holding up well.
Really easy to put the cover on and take off with the zipped side meaning you don’t need to get the very bottom over the tall parasol. And then it can be secured easily with the draw string at the bottom.
Also comes with a nice storage bag for keeping safe when not in use.
Looks good and does the job perfectly on our 3m cantelever parasol.

It is not as thick as I expected from viewing it on line. Only put it on yesterday and it flapped about a lot in the breeze so I put extra ties around it. Fit ok. Looks good but not sure how long it will last,time will tell.

The cover was delivered very quickly and is very good value. The zip makes it easier to get the cover on and off. Would recommend.

Suitable for larger “banana parasols”.

Due to the size of the parasol and this cover, make sure you tie it securely in windy conditions.

20 July 2023 – As an update to the initial review, and after a year of some of the highest winds and rain recorded, our cover has met all the requirements asked of it. Our canopy is completely dry and unmarked, and importantly the cover shows no sign of any wear or tear. Despite being very lightweight and thinner than other covers it is incredibly tough and durable.
1 March 2022 – We bought our cover as an urgent replacement for the previous canopy cover which tore during recent high winds. Cover arrived next morning thanks to Amazon Prime, but slightly surprised to see it delivered in one of Amazon’s small 250 x 350mm cardboard envelopes.
The cover we received is made from a very lightweight 0.1mm material, so one tenth of a millimetre in thickness.
We’ve had to keep the cover, as a rather expensive temporary solution, to protect our canopy during the torrential rain while we search again for a better quality replacement.
As a material thickness comparison –
1 – a good quality Amazon Basics BBQ cover : 0.32mm thick
2 – a medium quality garden cover : 0.25mm thick
3 – a reusable shopping bag : 0.15mm thick
4 – the canopy cover we received : 0.10mm thick
5 – human hair : 0.07mm thick
From the product description we’d expected a heavy-duty fabric rather than the lightweight material that this cover is made from. Out of interest I Google’d Oxford Fabric to learn that “210 Denier Oxford fabric is versatile, budget-friendly, lightweight, durable and can be used in a variety of applications.” “It is particularly used for making casual or sporty cotton shirts, pants, and other casual-to-formal garments.” but unfortunately not heavy-duty canopy covers.

Handy
My parasol doesnt fit in my garage so needed something to try and protect it from the elements. The covering seems waterproof but in all honesty I’ve not gone out and checked it to see if it has. I just wanted something to stop it blowing inside out.
Seems to work as expected
This fitted easily over the parasol, it is quite big and has been blown off and so we will need to add a strap to secure it properly.
Only used for a few weeks so cannot comment on the durability or long term waterproof qualities.

Ok for the price. It covers the parasol well and zips up to give a snug fit. It’s not as robust as some others but they are more costly. Just need to be careful putting on and off to make sure it doesn’t tear.
It Does What It Says On The Tin.
When I first opened the storage bag the the cover was in I thought, “That’s Flimsy”. Once I got it out I realised the the material was quite strong and now that we have had some quite heavy rain (I live in the Lake District), totally water proof. It is just a few cm longer than I would like, but I can live with that.
Quality product for the price.
The cover has coped with some windy and wet weather and has kept the umbrella dry. Would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a reasonably priced cover.

Excellent cove
Just taken this cover off of my garden parasol (which has been on all winter). Parasol is perfect, my parasol also has a solar panel which works the lights under it, all working ok . Would highly recommend this product.

Bought for our "banana" sun umbrella.
Fits well and is lined. We had one that we had bought some years ago. We decided to use that to cover our whirly line washing line and to use this one for our sun umbrella.
This one is much better quality. It is silver lined. It has a zip at the bottom to make fitting over the umbrella easier. Pleased with the purchase.

Not as robust material as I thought. But looks waterproof and large enough for the umbrella and pole.
I bought an expensive parasol and so I wanted a good cover for it.
This parasol cover is pretty much perfect. It covers my very tall parasol from top to bottom, even covering the bolts and foot pedal at the bottom, with a tie to pull in tight and secure.
The only down side is that it flaps in the wind which was annoying at night, however this was fixed by tying some bungee ropes around it.

Bought to cover cantilever parasol, I ordered one that is far to big, but having said that it completely covers the parasol and stand, so does the job. Happy with it.

Not worth the money constantly despite using recommended weights it blows over in lightest breeze. The adjustments are poor and it is very cumbersome. Going to get rid myself.

Not heavy duty
Wouldn’t call it “heavy duty” but certainly big enough to cover parasol. Has a zip up to halfway and easy to pull over top and cover, not tested waterproof and durability yet.
This is a great sturdy cover I know this as it blew off attached itself to next doors aerial and flapped for days until it could be retrieved.
So perfect but make sure you tie it down right in wind.

For those querying the size, I have a 3m cantilever parasol (from Dunelm Mill) and it fits perfectly ! Not tight or difficult to get on, plenty of room that not only cover the actual parasol but also the ‘winching’ mechanism…so it will all stay dry ! Can’t recommend this enough !
