This watch exceeded my expectations especially since it was cheaper than most of the other GPS watches. I bought this to track my lap times while riding Motocross but I found myself wearing it all the time and loving the sleep tracker and all of the other data it tracks throughout the day.

Serious watch for serious runners
No frills. Nothing you don’t need and everything you do that’s very functional!
Easy to operate and great backend for health/fitness application.
Only trouble is – sometimes – synching data/sessions from watch back to backend thru the Apple phone is finicky.
Polar sempre TOP💪credevo.....leggere tutta la recensione!
Arrivo da Garmin Fr235.
Ho voluto passare a Polar, passaggio perfetto
Il sensore cardiaco lavora in modo preciso e stabile.
Quello che non avevo nel Garmin
Ottimo Smartwatch per correre
Agg dopo 5 mesi di utilizzo:
MANCANO I SUONI DURANTE L’ALLENAMENTO!
I have had a lot of different smart watches and this is the one I prefer. What makes it a little better than other watches is the heart rate monitoring which can be used during exercise. The watch also stays charged for a long time and I like the app.

I like this watch more and more as I use it. It's simple but reliable. Quick to connect to gps and has all the features one requires. The report and analysis features are great with Polar watches. Battery life is very good. It is so lightweight and comfortable. One complain I have is that there is a lag on the backlight when you lift up your wrist to read the time.

Light weight excellent watch
The watch is very nice looking, it’s very light that I dont feel it on my wrist. I love the App to review the daily activities and my sleep patterns, heart rate monitoring. I’m still new to it so I know that after a while I will be getting fitness tips based on my regular activity and workouts. Overall a great purchase. I also bought one for my husband.
The only thing it misses is not having a touch screen like my old Samsung Frontier S3.
In this model the buttons are hard to press.
Polaruhr umfangreich
Amazing Fitness Watch
Bought this as an upgrade since my Polar Vantage M showed signs of a weakening battery.
GPS is much better than on my old Vantage M.
Generally the menus and controls on this watch feel very intuitive and I appreciate that it is controlled with buttons on the sides instead of having a touchscreen.
Overall perfect fit for what I expected from this watch.
Worth the money!
I have used Garmin watches and they do a lot very well. Most recently the fenix 7 solar. That is a great watch but bulky and heavy. I thought I would try the Pacer Pro at 41 grams. It is very comfortable, you barely notice that you have it on even when sleeping. The GPS is accurate and connects quickly. It measures sleep extremely well. I run but also do many other cardio exercises and they have everything I do as a workout. Also has strength training. The Polar app is comparable to Garmin for what I look at.
I gave up music (although I always had trouble with that with Garmin), maps, and the touchscreen. Also Polar does not give you the abundance of watch face options as Garmin and it seems like replacement watch bands are not as plentiful or really as seamless as with Garmin. All that said, for me, the Polar Pacer Pro brings what I need in a fitness watch at a very good price! And it is incredibly light and comfortable!
Impressed
Have tried numerous Polar watches in the past and none impressed at all, but the Pacer Pro is very different. Light and easily comfortable for 24hr wear, glitch free bluetooth sync with the app which now (finally!) works with Google Fit. This one is for keeps.
Me gusta menos:
Lange Touren also nicht mglich.
Links oben: Displaybeleuchtung
Links unten: Stop bzw. Zurck + Verbindung zur Polar Flow App
Rechts oben und unten: Hinauf bzw. hinunter scrollen
Rechts Mitte: Okay
Very good product essential and woth lots of usefull information about fisical condition and sleep. Disappointing the suggested workouts that sometimes look very repetitive and not really connected with your level

Einfach + GUT
GPS e misurazione cardiaca molto precisa.
Nice and smart watch for all purposes.
This smart watch is amazing. You need to download the polar app to configure the watch so as to have access to your activities data.
It is perfect for all purposes amd very accurate.
Although i wish the screen is touch screen and colour but that’s not affecting the functionality of it though but if you don’t stay calm the operation can be complex at the beginning but that is why you have the manual which is very helpful.
Buen reloj.
Llevo 2 meses y unos 25 entrenos.
Me arrepiento de la compra? En absoluto. Mejor reloj calidad precio.
Nota a parte.
Attractive product, with good menu of functions, but I found it hard to use. I bought this watch to do one thing: measure my heart rate, monitoring a serious heart problem. After several hours of trying every possible combination of buttons, then reading the Polar support site, online manual, watching video instructions, and being unable to get a live person on the chat or telephone, I finally did speak to a customer service rep, who quickly answered my question. Polar appears to assume that all users want to use every fancy doodad on the watch, and are willing to follow a complex branching structure of instructions to get to what they want. Not true..

I’m no pro runner, but I did want a running watch that had some very specific features. Pacer Pro ticked off my entire list and then some. I’ve been running with this device for about a month now. Paired w a Polar chest strap monitor (not necessary, but I already had an H10 so I just use them together), PP delivers enough feedback and after-workout metrics to really satisfy most every runner. Polar Flow, both in app form and on the web, is a worthy complement to the device.
That’s the good. There’s one really big not-so-good. The device just randomly stops working. Sometimes when I’m wired recharging/syncing (and don’t get me started w Bluetooth syncing on iOS, which is a nightmare), the device screen just goesdead. On awaking this morning, the device screen wasdead. I had to wire it to my laptop, wherein I was instructed to set it up again as if it was a brand new device (fortunately, the Flow web app retained all my previous workout data), and start my sleep tacking all over again. It is a frustrating and not entirely unnerving habit, not knowing whether it will just stop during a critical workout. So, I can’t give this 5 stars for this reason alone. Don’t know if Polar needs to do a firmware update or if I got a bad model, but whatever the reason, it isn’t something I’d HIGHLY recommend. When it works, it’s a great tool. When it doesn’t, it’s a source is genuine frustration.
UPDATE: Forget what I wrote about the chest strap being unnecessary. My personal experiments w using the PPP w and w/out the strap indicate that if you want accurate HR numbers, you’ll pair it w the strap. For example, last night it failed to record my night’s sleep completely despite the fact that I wore it (tightly, as Polar advises), and then on a completely casual walk on my rest day, it recorded HR zones from the low 60s (which I would expect), to 145 and above, which is my red zone which I can only reach w a full-on sprint. So now, this device by itself is not reliable AFAIC, at least when it comes to accurate HRs. Pair it w a strap, and it makes a fine running buddy. Alone, not so much.
This watch is a definite improvement over the Polar watches I know from many many years ago. It will monitor heart rate with or without the chest strap but obviously is more accurate during a run if the chest strap is in place. The watch is fairly easy to set up and pair with a cell phone and with the chest strap. It is straightforward to begin to record a run with the watch showing pace, elapsed time, heart rate and mileage covered. I haven't had it very long yet and don't know all of the untapped potential but I am going to have fun learning how to use all of the functions over time. It worked great out of the box and so far has been reliable so I guess I would buy again and recommend it to a friend.

Purtroppo, qui arriviamo all’unico problema, ed molto irritante…sincronizzazione.
Perfect Smart Watch For Runners or Regular Gym Users
There are loads of smart watches on the market, most offer a whole range of features including keep fit trackers, heart monitors etc… as well as all the other things people want including integration with phones. But like many devices like that while they have plenty of features but are often master of none.
This watch is a totally different proposition, on the surface you could be forgiven for thinking it is just “another” smart watch and indeed it can offer normal time functions etc… But that is about where the similarity ends.
This watch has been designed specifically for serious health fans and features a ton of features specifically for those who run regularly, offering the ability to change all sorts of parameters around the workout you want to undertake. It will also allow you to analyse how you perform during the workout and even indicate what you might want to do to improve your performance, keeping a history of your workouts as well for historic comparisons etc… It will also give you a much enhanced breakdown of a run for example including timing, lap times, and virtually anything else a runner may want.
However it is not limited to just running, it also has workout programs and functions for all major health activities. Additional enhancements over and above the average smart watch includes heart monitoring which is far more accurate than their peers and which offers more detailed information ensuring that your entire gym workout can be monitored, captured and analysed either on the watch itself or in the accompanying app (Polar Flow) which you can download, this syncs data from the watch which helps you analyse and create your personalised training plan.
Other enhancements are a more precise GPS capability, route guidance like a satnav, ultra-light weight design, easy to operate buttons and a brighter display that is always on and is more easily visible in daylight. Basically the whole design has been geared to a runner or other fitness regimes to improve its usefulness and information delivery.
However there are a few downsides to this watch, if you think this is a full blown smart watch as well as a fitness device. To start with the integration with a phone is limited to receiving notifications, but doesn’t give you the opportunity to respond to these notifications or take or make a call on the phone. So if you are used to using an existing smart watch as a hands free for example you will be disappointed. In a similar vein the battery life while impressive for the functions it provides for the athlete and having a constant display the quoted ‘up to 35 hours training (100 hours on power save mode)’ between charges will not impress you when you can get a week or two out of many smart watches these days.
Another thing to be aware of is that you should forget touch screen functionality, this watch doesn’t have it, the only control you have is through the buttons built into the casing, similar to what you used to get on the old casio digital watches etc… Of course to a runner who is timing their workout or wanting to analyse their performance none of this really matters. But if you really want a fully featured smart watch that you can use while exercising you may be better off looking elsewhere.
If however you are a keen runner or similar then this watch is probably perfect for you, it is simple to use, light and comfortable to wear, has a display that works better outdoors than indoors not to mention better than most normal smart watches. Finally it feels that it will be robust and withstand the odd knock or whatever with no issues, something I wouldn’t be so confident about with some smart watches with their large touch screens!
Great design, comfortable to wear it.
This Polar Pacer GPS running watch with high speed processor works excellent with no any errors. Very lightweight (40g) only, has ergonomic design with super-grip buttons. Has hyperfast processor, always-on MIP color display, accurate GPS and long-life battery. What he has: pace, time, distance, stopwatch, lap timer and Interval timer. Polar precision prime optical heart rate tracking technology. Music controls, push notifications and compatible with 3rd party apps (Strava, Adidas Runastic, Nike Run Club and others). If you will get serious, having a suite of powerful training features at your disposal will help you run towards your goals like: FitSpark daily training guidance, FuelWise smart fuel reminder and energy sources, polar running program and training load pro. I have to admit that this watch is my favorite one now. I’m wearing every day and doesn’t even take it off her hand. This is great value for money (169,50) at the moment. Good quality watch, that’s why I can easily recommend it to anyone.
A sports watch, not a smart watch.
I got offered this for free under the Amazon vine program.
I have had smart bands, watches and everything else over the years. I started with a jawbone, that was one of the first sports bands and had terrible reliability. Moved onto various fitbits and mibands and then onto a fossil hybrid watch.
Currently I have a mobvoi ticwatch pro 3, which has been on my wrist for 20 months.
The issue with wear os watches are pretty clear to see, still waiting for wear os3 to land, less than stella battery life (although the twp3 last 3 days due to its cleaver dual screen tech) and lack of useful app integration. Also when tracking an all day hike or similar it’s alway touch and go how long the watch will last when using GPS etc.
So I’ve been considering a 2nd watch for sport and training tracking so was happy to receive the pace to try.
This review is more a series of observations, to be honest, and I hope it’s useful.
First up its not a smart watch, You can literally do nothing when you get notifications so I’ve turned that feature off, the lack of a touch screen is also weird in 2022 but once you get used to the 5 button setup it works ok.
Secondly, the display…. this is dull inside and compared to the oled panels on my other watches is really poor, but I guess that’s the price of decent battery life in a very light package. BUT outside, wow, the display is great and can be read in direct sunlight without any issues at all. So where it matters the display is fine.
Another “issue” is the screen size , the bezels round the screen are rather large so the screen itself is only 1.2 inches across, but again for the limited use, that’s not a real problem either.
The weight is a serious plus, You won’t know you’re wearing it and I on the 2 nights I’ve worn it in bed it’s tracked my sleep automatically and accurately. I didn’t notice the watch at all.
The mobile app is simple and although a little dated in looks tracks and syncs with the watch well and without issues . It’s easy to link to Google fit and Strava and the data uploads to both instabtly.
So overall as a sports tracker it’s very very good. And I’ve found that I’m wearing it 24 hours a day (over a weekend) but will revert to my smart watch for work on Monday. I’ll definitely be wearing this at night though and whenever I do sport or training and probably when I’m away from home for a few days, as the battery life is so much better than my normal watch and that’s one less thing to worry about. I intend to use this for swimming as well, I don’t trust my other watxlch to get wet and survive.
So overall if you understand the limitations I think this is an excellent watch and does what it sets out to do.
I think it should maybe cost less than the 169 that’s it’s currently for sale at ,but it’s not excessively expensive and again, if you just want a running or training watch, then this will do the job , and do it well.
The box comes with a 2nd strap, well half of one, for smaller wrists and the straps are easy to replace with quick release tabs.
So not a premium watch but one that feels well made and should take quite a lot of abuse over the coming months, and one I’m glad to have to to be using.
Probably, for me, a perfect companion watch to my regular wear os one.
I got a Pacer Pro to replace my Grit X, because the Grit X is quite a lump and frankly not comfortable at all on my small wrists. The Pacer Pro is soooo light and comfortable in comparison, and the only real difference is the lack of a touchscreen, which is no loss at all TBH. This is my 5th Polar in my lifetime and this is easily the best. Some reviewers have complained about the screen clarity but think it just fine (certainly better than the Grit X screen). The battery life excellent. After receiving it I fully charged it, and then after 10 days, 6.5 hours GPS, nightly sleep monitoring (not 24 heart rate), it had only used 80%. Not bad 🙂 My only small gripe is that it doesn’t have an audiable ‘beep’: It only vibrates for notifications.
Obviously as always with Polar, remember that is doesn’t do classic smart watch features like contactless payments and onboard music file storage, but if you want those then get a Garmin and have fun paying for multitude of features that to don’t need, won’t use, or are downright pointless. If you simply want an excellent running/multisport watch then you can’t go wrong with a Pacer Pro
A lightweight and advanced smartwatch with crystal clear display, but some minor niggles!
My wife and I are both sporty people and we’ve stuck with Garmin smartwatches for years now, so we’re very used to the Garmin “Connect” app and user interface. It was always going to be a bit of a culture shock to switch to a different system, but Polar has a great reputation for sports technology and we were keen to give it a try and compare with Garmin.
Overall, this is a great device which offers some unique and valuable features, particularly in the app, which are advantageous compared to Garmin’s current offering. For example, one app feature my wife really loves as a keen runner is Polar’s interactive route map which allows you to scroll through a time bar and see your detailed stats (such as heart rate and pace) at any point in time during the run.
Here’s a summary of the key points and some minor niggles worth knowing about:
– Two strap size options mean it’s great for smaller wrists. You do have to wear it quite tight to ensure the sensor can take accurate readings (it needs to sit flush against the skin and not move when exercising) but you can wear it more loosely for day-to-day wear. It’s a very lightweight watch though and doesn’t feel bulky or heavy on the wrist. It’s also very understated so doesn’t look out of place on the wrist or obviously like it’s a sports watch.
– The screen is exceptionally clear and well laid out. During a run or bike ride, it’s really easy to glance down and see all of the information you want in one place rather than having to scroll through the display options mid-activity.
– If you’re used to wearing a Garmin, it can take a little while to get used to the ordering of the Polar buttons – it feels a little unintuitive to press what feels like a “back” button to get to the activity options but you get used to it after a while.
– The built-in GPS tracking works really well – we’ve had no issues with it finding or losing a signal, and it seems really accurate when compared to other trackers and online mapping tools. The Strava integration works seamlessly with no issues.
– The battery life is really impressive. We’ve put it through it’s paces, logging activities every day and often with GPS tracking on, and have only charged it twice since the first start-up charge.
– The only oddity/frustrations that we’ve had are with the pause function. During a run, my wife passed a friend’s house and paused her run as she chatted for maybe 10 minutes or so. When she went to restart the watch, the first part of the run was gone. We’ve been unable to find out from the user manual if there is a time limit for pausing. Additionally, she paused an activity after completing it, and when she went to save the activity by pressing and holding the same bottom left button, a notification on the watch came through at the same time and the watch crashed/restarted and lost the activity.
Overall then, this is a very decent smartwatch but it’s not perfect. I’d give it 4.5 stars if I could, but I’ve rounded it up to 5 stars here because 4 stars feels too stingy given the only minor issues I’ve found with it.
I purchased this watch to compare against my Apple Watch, the Garmin Fenix, and the Suunto 9 Baro. (I have a watch issue, okay?)
This polar pacer pro is the most attractive and the lightest of the lot, I bought it in blue. It fits a 6″ wrist perfectly. Not chunky at all.
Battery life for me is 3 to 4 days if I’m lucky, but I am an athlete, so I track 1 or 2 things every day. I’m not sad about it, as I used to daily drive an Apple Watch (this has taken up its slot).
I ran the Pittsburgh marathon with it and it did well on gps. I do miss having five fields or more to measure during a run at a glance, but you can navigate (mid run) to your extra fields if you can’t fit them into the front screen.
It’s clearly a companion to Polar Flow – the app. It’s a sporty data nerd watch. The thing collects data 24/7 and all of the granular bits are in the app. You will not be satisfied with this watch if you don’t cozy up to Polar Flow.
If you want a light, serious, and attractive runner’s watch this is it. If you are interested in Polar’s biometrics analysis, I suggest this as their best offering as of May 2022.
Awesome running smart watch
The Polar Pacer Pro is a good looking watch designed for runners, while being nice and lightweight at just 41g. Unlike the Polar Vantage V2 which is made of aluminium, the main body of the Pacer Pro is plastic, but the bezel is made of aluminium. It still looks fantastic while being considerably cheaper than the Vantage.
As it has a waterproof rating of fifty metres, it can also be used when swimming or in the rain.
You get two different size straps with it for big and small wrists, they are made of silicone and feel very comfortable with the breathable holes throughout. Straps are replaceable, and if you wish to use a standard 20mm strap you can do so by using the shift adapter that comes with the watch.
The watch does not have a touch screen and is controlled only by five buttons, two on the left and three on the right, the buttons have a nice feel to them with a ridged texture for a good grip. While scrolling through menus etc, the watch is fast and responsive to button presses.
It has a 1.2-inch always on display made of gorilla glass, which is large and readable in sunlight. While the display does not stand out like a Samsung Galaxy watch 4, it is made to be functional and readable in any light condition.
The sensor is loaded with LED lights for highly accurate heart rate monitoring. Another nice feature is the flatness of the sensor, which does not have a bump.
The battery should last you around seven days if you use it as a standard smartwatch, you will get around 35 hours using GPS or if you are happy to get less accurate GPS tracking, you can use power save mode and get around 100 hours.
When using it as a smartwatch, you will get notifications that you can see but you can not reply to them, there is also no sound, just vibration only. You do get a nice weather widget along with music controls for your phone, such as play, pause skip etc.
You get to track your steps, activity levels, calories burned, even how much you have run up or down hill, thanks to the barometer and hill splitter feature, along with nightly recharge which shows your advanced sleep tracking, recovery etc.
It can also collect running power data, which monitors the effort you made throughout your run, so you can change your intensity.
There are various widgets, like one that will suggest workouts based on your current fitness, along with one that suggests when you should drink or eat on long activities.
It offers over 100 activity trackers, ranging from running and cycling to ballet and everything in between. You can customise them in the Polar flow app on your phone.
It not only allows you to run various fitness tests, but it also lets you know how you are doing with your training, such as whether you are training too much or too little.
It also works with the Polar running program, in which you get to set a goal such as a 5k and it will give you a training plan based on your current fitness level.
I have pretty much glossed over what this watch can do but long story short, if you are into sports/fitness then you need this watch, it is fantastic. If you just want to see how many steps you have taken for the day then avoid this like the plague and get an Apple watch or Galaxy Watch, you will get to choose lots of pretty watch faces, contactless payments and store your music on the watch without the need for a phone etc, although at these prices you would expect you could do that with this watch as well.
