Great dehumidifier!
Easy to use,works very effectively. Easy to drain water. Love the colour indicator. Looks very smart in the home. Superior to cheaper models. Straight forward instructions in a booklet. Delivered on time. Rooms seem warmer due to less moisture, also bought to prevent nasty black mould. Can turn lights off in sleep mode, but possibly to loud for sleeping. All in all, very pleased with my purchase.this is a genuine reviewer.
Efficient, quite loud on low speed
Sucks moisture out of the air well. Fan is a little noisy even on low, I couldn’t sleep with it. Overall, a good purchase and would recommend.
I can’t recommend this enough. I’ve had quite a few dehumidifiers over the years and eventually they all give up as they get filled with dust and are less efficient. Like all dehumidifiers, this one took a while to show results. What I mean is you have to plug it in and run it for a while and then it really shines. At first it seems to need time to settle. The upstairs of my house suffers badly from humidity and likewise damp. It’s a small house with poor ventilation and 4 people breathing out hot air at night. My son only has a little bedroom so the outside walls of the house are soaking to the touch. With this amazing machine, once everyone is awake, I open the bedroom doors and the bathroom and in a few hours the walls are dry. I have the dehumidifier running on the landing all day and have been emptying the tank everyday over the last few weeks. The result – mould free rooms and a warmer house. Only drawback for me is the noise. It’s a large machine and certainly too noisy to run at night.

Dehumidifier that works!
Very pleased with the dehumidifier, it does what it says on the tin. Our conservatory tends to suffer from condensation during the winter months & this has made all the difference. It stops the build up of condensation & keeps everything dry.

The produst dose wanders for my house, huge water container that is perfect for a big house, no more mold, the laundry option is amazing my clothes are drying quickly, the fact that I can program it when I leave home is amazing!!! Love it! Thank you!
Epic
This machine is really epic. I love the size of the water container. If you are petite person you may struggle emptying it, but the design of the compartment means that you won’t spill a lot of water if you wait till it gets to the top. I live in a flat that gets a bit mouldy so I have to have this on often to keep the mould at bay. I own another dehumidifier that kept in the bathroom and this one I use for the bedroom and passageway. It dries close in around 12 hours which is super helpful. The settings are awesome however I only use it for clothes drying and general dehumidifier setting. I haven’t use this fan setting since it’s not summer yet but I can see myself needing it however with energy prices about to skyrocket I might not. I do believe it is energy-efficient so having it on isn’t going to break the bank. It’s a large machine so if you don’t like having a robot around I suggest going for a smaller model. It is an attractive machine as far as machines can go so I am unbothered about having it on show. The wheels is in a really helpful however, unless I’ve not got the right settings on I don’t think there are lights on the buttons do you light on to see what you’re pressing when in the dark.
Can't get below 40%
To cover first of all, no leaks for me thankfully.
The noise does not at all bother me, so I can’t really speak to how loud it is.
It does clearly work – finding a full tank of water is really satisfying… and the moisture / mould build up was instantly resolved. What it can’t seem to do is actually reach any of the really dry targets it claims it can. I decided to try it on a newly converted, small room – so as good insulation as can be expected. Despite leaving for as long as possible and even sealing off the door spaces – it can’t get below 40%. So what’s the point in having the target?

This handy machine has reduced the humidity level in our flat, makimg it feel.warmer already and reducing the mould, also good for i door drying of clothes, it has wheels so you can push it to where you need it, a low level noise

This was my first large dehumidifier, after buying small portable ones, and I was not disappointed. The amount of water extracted is impressive – I had no idea there was that much water in the atmosphere of my home. The dehumidifier is easy to move as it is on wheels and is not too noisy, although you can hear it when it is in operation. I love this and would definitely buy again.

Super efficie
Bought to replace my previous one which was tripping the fuses whenever we used it. This has been a very good bit of kit easily draws out the moisture from the room and the clothes drying function is really good too.

I have had this for over a week. Arrived well packaged with instruction booklet. It is a substantial unit with a large 6.5 litre tank. It has performed well in every room I have tried it in. The clothes drying function also works very well. Not too noisy especially in low fan or night mode. Early days but I hope it continues to impress !
Great value for money
This dehumidifier has really impressed me.
I’ve bought many expensive dehumidifiers over the years and thought I would try this one based on the good reviews as it was less than half the price of the ones I’d bought previously.
This unit has seriously impressed me with its efficiency.
It is placed in my guinea pig shed which gets quite humid and this little machine has handle the humidity marvellously! Bought the high humidity right down and keeps the shed in the mid 50% humidity level with no issues.
The controls are excellent and you only need to gently touch them to operate it.
Has a large water tank which I empty twice a day and is so easy to remove and empty.
The filter comes out easily and cleaning is a doddle.
Not at all noisy..I can barely hear it.
All in all a bargain!!

Prefect for its purpose
We got it for drying laundry during the cold winter months and although a bit noisy, does the job perfectly.
hat it removes the water due to damp and condensation.
It is easy to use with many settings and a sleep function that turns out the lights on the machine.

I bought this for my sons room, I’ve always said he’s full of hot air – apparently he’s also full of moist air! – It’s brought the humidity down by 40%. It’s quiet, doesn’t use too much electricity and works very well.

This is a good dehumidifier. I mainly use it for the clothes drying setting and it’s efficient enough to dry my clothes overnight. I also like that I has a child lock on the buttons, as I have a very handsy toddler!
Although I think it could be a bit quieter, overall it looks sleek has good features, and gets the job done.

This dehumidifier has been a godsend. I’m a swim instructor so always have wet kit hanging around, as well as usual washing. The collection tank is big so it doesn’t need emptying for days even on continuous.
Wow how much water in such a short space of time?
Very good dehumidifier had a slight problem at 1st where it blew my electrics but only did it the once so must have just been one of those things but puremate was very happy to offer an exchange straight away which i didnt take them up on as the dehumidifier only did it the once and successfully been ok since. Its very easy to use and really does its job well would highly recommend

Perfect straight out of the box, could not be easier to use, I was going to purchase the EcoAir unit but thought the Puremate suited our needs better.
Very effective
Extracts loads of water from the atmosphere. Got 5 litres in the tank overnight- that’s 5 litres less condensation on windows and cold surfaces! Castors facilitate pushing it from room to room but rather heavy to carry upstairs. Fan a bit noisy but not too bad. Haven’t tried out the timer and other gismos.
The best dehumidifie
I have had quite a few dehumidifiers, this is by far the best. Takes lots of water out of the air, less noise than any i have had before. It also looks pretty stylish. Excellent product. This will be my go to dehumidifier and i have a large open plan area 50 square metres. No more soggy windows.

Product is a good size, easy to work and is quiet so does not keep you up, design is pleasant to look at and easy to empty.

Quite happy with the product, works well. Only complaint is that when you go to empty the water tank it does seem to leak a bit of water onto the floor.
I have only used this on its continuous (low power) function. I has proved highly effective, extracting litres of water. It has a good size 6l drainage tank with automatic cut-out if full, so you don’t have to worry about leaving the machine alone to work for a couple of days. The machine is not light but is easily moved by its handles or by its wheels. In this mode it is reasonably quiet. It has a clear display constantly showing ambient humidity. You can set the machine to stop working when humidity falls to a particular level.
The machine is solidly built and in particular the water tank is sturdy. Make sure the water tank is fully back into the machine before turning on or you can get leakage.
It auto defrosts itself as needed.
This was middle of the considerable price range for dehumidifiers and so far appears good value.

After a year it stopped working but I contacted rhe company, they collected it fixed and returned it an no cost to me, it was at least 1 weeks after the warranty ran out.

I live in an 80s house where we have issues with condensation over winter. I’d looked at a lot of dehumidifiers but wanted one where I wouldn’t have to empty it every night and could run relatively efficiently.
This certainly extracts a shocking amount of water from air. Its not super quiet but its efficient enough for me to run it for a few hours in the evening and turn off to sleep. Its more a back ground hum than a loud one. 6 litres capacity means it can take the humidity levels from our bedroom from 70%+ to 50% for around 4 days before requiring to empty.
On a side note I’d only run it when I’m in the room. I’m not sure id have the confidence to run it on auto mode and let it do its thing. Its nothing on the manufacturer, I just don’t think its worth the risk.
All in all a good buy and no more condensatio
Efficient and easy to use
This has really helped with issues of damp from condensation upstairs. No more condensation on the windows is the morning. We just have it running in the day.
Possibly too noisy to have running all night.

Great dehumidifie
This dehumidifier is excellent value for money and ours has not leaked as other reviewers said. Really good at keeping condensation at bay as it keeps our 2 bed house dry. It’s also great at drying laundry and I like that it has an indicator showing the level of humidity at any given time. On full power it is a little noisy but we just run it on that setting do dry washing quickly. We use it a lot in the bathroom and around the house as needed as very easy to move thanks to the castor wheels. The water tank is very easy to lift and empty when full and the humidifier automatically shuts off when the tank is full. I’m really pleased with this dehumidifier and would recommend it.
Product works well, large water storage container, but be aware of container integrity!
As product has had good reviews and more importantly a very good customer service note, I purchased this dehumidifier. As with one of the previous reviews I also had an issue with a leaking water container, which on looking very closely had a hair line split at the bottom and so leaked.
As with the purchaser who had a similar issue, when I contacted the supplier their customer care was very supportive and immediately arranged for a replacement container to be dispatched which will be with me shortly.
I have given a high mark despite this issue purely on the customer service and because the product is working fine as I am using a water container to collect water. I will come back to this report if my replacement container not arrive as promsied.

Perfect for Asthma sufferers
This is a brilliant item, it even dries washing. I could not believe the amount of water that came out of it the first use, now I hardly get any water in the box, as it is doing its job.

emoves water/dampness really quickly
works like a dream, removes so much water/dampness, i live in a very old flat where the rain water goes underneath the property and causes damp/smells, this removes it so quickly, its also very handy and helping to dry clothes etc as i have only got E7 heating
Purchased this to replace an old Dimplex dehumidifier and at first had the leaking problem that a few other reviews mentioned. I couldn’t see anything obviously wrong with the tank, but after contacting Amazon, they suggested I contacted PureMate and gave me the links etc. To give PureMate credit, they responded very quickly and told me it was likely to be a hairline crack in the collection tank. I checked again, a bit more thoroughly and found two tiny hairline cracks, where the water was slowly leaking from. They sent me a replacement tank the next day and now it works perfectly without leaving puddles on the floor. I really like it, it’s powerful and collects an impressive amount of water. It’s got lots of useful modes and you can vary the settings to suit your needs.

I was suffering from the growing mould at home during winter. I was looking for a Dehumidifier which is capable to run on a low temperature and can remove enough moisture from the air also can purify the air and can cover the whole house.
PureMate meets all my demand, amazing work after a few days of running. All moulds are gone, It is capable and I also got it at a bargain price.

I bought this item to use in my garage – I have another brand which I use in the flat when drying towels or sheets. I’m using this one in the garage to help lift moisture from the sealed garage floor. I’ve seen a recent utility bill (March 2020) and really impressed how little electricity it used in a 2 hour period (excluding VAT). I’ve used the hose pipe at the back to drain the water into a large watering can. All in all, really happy with this model; in theory I should really switch the one in the house for this one in the garage as it has more functions, but for now it’s doing what I need it to do.

Used this to dry out the rooms after plastering, it works well, a bit noisy, Can see the water level, well worth the money.

Features are easy to understand and the machine is easy to move around. The colour coded display enables you to see improvement at a distance so no need for continually checking.
Solved the problem of condensatio
Solved the problem of damp and condensation up stairs, it’s has a great tank size so don’t need to empty as often as others, a little noise but is kept up stairs so hasn’t been a problem. Takes the moisture out of the air a lot quicker than expected.

Excellent value for money dehumidifier, it’s keeping the house dry and drying laundry. On full power it is a little noisy and does use around 8p an hour in electricity, but you don’t need to run it on that setting unless you are wanting washing dried quickly – something it is very good at doing. To run in the background and keep condensation and mould at bay will be much cheaper, we have a 3 bedroomed semi and this is more than adequate for the size of the house. It seems to be well made, and the water tank is huge, the handle makes the tank easy to lift when full. The controls are simplicity itself, the indicator telling you what the humidity level is is really useful. The pipe you get to plumb it in isn’t great, but at the moment I’ve no plans to fix it anywhere. The casters make it easy to move around despite it being quite heavy. All In all I’m really pleased with this – for the price it has all the features you’d expect and more.

I bought this to remove the condensation in my kitchen and dining room mainly.
You could see a difference in a matter of an hour or so with a considerable amount of water in the tray.
Being fully portable I’m moving it around the house to great affect.
The laundry drying mode is a bonus and works great.
The 6+ litre drainage container is also an ideal size with auto off when full.
