Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersGot 10m hdmi gen 3 and tested on Denon X3800H. Passed 4/5 times. Using it for about a month and have occasional drop outs. Have a DenonX3800, Epson LS12000, PS5, XBOX X, and Apple TV4K. Worrisome if the cable will last based on other customer reviews. Not very happy that it failed some Denon Tests and the various drop-outs I’ve already experienced. Will update review with more info as I get more time with cable

I just want to write that cable works great with Gigabyte 3080ti Gaming OC and Sony XR-77A83J.
4K@120Hz RGB 12bit color with HDR.
If I get any problems I will update the post.
I got 20m version and had problems with other cables.

    For the 15m product.
I have it running inside cable canals over the walls from a 6700 XT to a Samsung QN90B. Got 2160p@120Hz HDR together with DD+ (Dolby Atmos) as passthrough at the same time. No issue at all. No drop outs at all. I’ve taking care of how it runs inside the canals, just to avoid frequency noises, away from other cables like power, RF or Ethernet. I was skeptic at first, but it caught its goals as it should be. Thanks RUIPRO !

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersTo begin, if you are looking for an HDMI cable for runs of greater than 15-20 feet, don’t want to do HDMI over ethernet, and want a great picture on your HDTV, then look no further than the RUIPRO 8K active hybrid fiber optic HDMI cable. After inadvertently damaging my older 25 foot copper HDMI cables that I thought was giving me a great picture on my 75 inch Samsung Q80TA, I researched new cables and decided on the 10 meter RUIPRO 4K/60 Hz (You read right; the 4K cable). The quality of the materials was first class. (Don’t be swayed by reviewers who think that a thin cable is a cheap poorly made cable!!) When I tried to set up the cable with my DirecTV 4K Genie receiver, I was unable to get support for 1080p and 4K resolutions. I tried the usual suggestions such as unplugging the cables and the TV and restarting everything. That did not solve the issue. I contacted RUIPRO and they sent me another cable. Same results. I contacted DirecTV and Samsung without any help. They seemed totally clueless about these types of cables! No one, not even RUIPRO, suggested that I try a USB power inserter. So I tried the cable with my OPPO BDP-205 UHD disc player and it would not play 4K discs. I made some changes in the OPPO’s video menu with resolutions and that solved the issue there. (I did eventually use a USB power inserter with the 4K cable going from my UHD player to the TV with a visible modest improvement in picture quality to my eyes.) I made the decision to go whole hog and buy the RUIPRO 10 meter 8K active hybrid fiber optic HDMI cable. Same excellent construction although the 8K cable was a little thicker than the 4K version. Same problem with resolutions. But then I used the included USB power inserter and everything changed. Now I had all 4 resolutions with the Genie, including1080p and 4K. And I was looking at the most incredibly clear lifelike picture with never before seen nuances of color and shading, especially with flesh tones. I was smitten. Now it is likely that I probably would have had the same experience with the 4K cable had someone recommended the USB power inserter (or if I had just considered buying it myself). I didn’t care. I was using the 4k/60 Hz cable with my UHD disc player and now my satellite TV video performance had just gone up off the charts. I have not experienced a single video or audio dropout but it has been only about one month since I installed my cables. Now, this is young technology. I have read reviews where the performance seems to become erratic with time or that the cable just stops working altogether. There are active electronics involved and things can fail with time and need to be replaced. But my version of the RUIPRO 8K cable is a Gen 3 so maybe that portends success and reliability with time. But I am a very happy viewer for now and would recommend the RUIPRO brand without question. Their support is very good and attentive although I fail to see how they did not recommend the use of the USB power inserter right at the beginning of my query. Both active hybrid fiber optic HMDI cables and HDMI over ethernet are pricey ( I spent $175 for my two RUIPRO cables on Amazon. I would have spent nearly $500 dollars for two HDMI over internet systems for my needs.). But if it fits your needs, I would recommend that you try the fiber optic cables. Bear in mind that you need a very good source for your video signal. There is only so much that a good TV and an excellent cable can do with a mediocre source. I have had a very good experience with satellite for 23 years. I wish I could have had a long HDMI cable of such excellence back then!!

After the iBirdie 20ft HDMI 2.1 cable failed to be able to handle 4K120 I ordered this. Much more expensive but absolutely worth it. Handles 4K120 at 10bpc without breaking a sweat. No flicker or anything. Just works great. Get this cable if you’re trying to run 4K120 and need a really long HDMI cable.

Had to find the right configuration for the Onkyo TX-NR7100, but aside from that, 4K/HDR/120Hz/VRR without any issue or drop. Didn’t have to use the USB power adapter. Cable is thick and seems to be good quality. Still have confirm on the long run.

I did notice the colour pop out more played for a few hours even my daughter who’s not fussy about graphics or colour mentioned colour poped out more.

Would I recommend it depends if you have the money to spend depends on you. It’s not a huge difference only time would tell.

Bought the 15m cable for my installer to run in wall/ceiling between our projector and AV receiver. Had an issue with dropouts from the beginning, infrequent at first but then steadily worse. Finally diagnosed it as being a problem with the cable. Contacted Ruipro who immediately sent a replacement cable, which I have now installed and is working flawlessly. Very pleased with the results, and extremely pleased with the customer service.

Needed an upgraded cable to span a longer distance to use full 4K/HDR capabilities of projector. It with a USB signal booster in the box but even over our span of 30ft didn’t need it. Strong consistent signal for both viewing and gaming. Was apprehensive spending this much on a cable but has been worth it.

I purchased this cable as my TV is far away from my PC which is equipped with a HDMI 2.1. First one I got (12M) suffered from weird dropouts after a few minutes – it didn’t matter at what res/hz – but the seller responded really quickly and sent me a new cable from their factory in China which worked perfectly and arrived within a week. <3
Overall satisfied, I am able to get 4k 120Hz RGB 12 bit to the TV without any issues now(HDR/DV works).

I was having intermittent video connection problems connecting my 3090 to a Samsung Q90a TV with the 33 foot variant of the green Ruipro cable. this was an improvement after trying 5 different HDMI 2.1 cables > 30 feet of length from various vendors where I could not get 4k 120fps HDR at all. With this cable when switching resolutions or turning on and off HDR for gaming I would lose signal about half the time.

I contacted Ruipro and they were very helpful. They asked for identifying information to figure out which batch the cable came from and then shipped me a replacement.

I’m happy to share the replacement cable is working perfectly. Thank you!

Ran in the walls to be my “forever” cable before I had the house stucco’ed.

Around 13 months later, I started to get snow every 20th-30th usage. Resetting/changing the source got rid of the snow.

15 months later, it is totally dead. I thought it was the receiver, until I ran a long cable across the floor and got a signal. I couldn’t believe it.

Since I had a dead cable in the walls, I unscrewed the metal ends off to look for any signs of damage. It looks fine, as far as I can tell.

Edit: great customer service replaced the cable very quickly. It seems to be newer/thicker, and says gen3 on the side.

    Works great until it doesn'

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI have had a HDMI cable, network cable and USB extension lead stashed away nicely inside some trunking, and run between the floorboards for around 4 years as my PC/office is in a bedroom and I like to game on the couch with my main TV sometimes. This has served me well since first setting it up at a time when “4K” was just taking off.

When upgrading my GPU, and more recently my TV, I realised the cable was no longer up to the task and I was getting a weird stuttering effect when trying to enable HDR in Windows with the resolution at 4k 120hz. I could either have fully blown HDR at 60hz, or 120hz without the HDR which was quite annoying.

I did some research and ended up with this cable. It was what I would consider EXTREMELY expensive (for a cable) but ultimately it solves all the issues I had and there are literally no compromises needed anymore.

RGB 4:4:4 10 bit HDR 4k 120 Hz and the freesync range is 40-120hz. This is basically the best of the best in 2021 over a distance of 10 metres.

TV is an LG CX Oled and GPU is a Sapphire Radeon 6800xt.

See associated picture – not much more you could ask for.

Cable wasn’t cheap but cannot fault the end result.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI bought the 40′ version of the green HDMI Fiber Optic Cable. I bought it because I had issues with another brand-name cable that wasn’t working correctly with my new Denon 3700h receiver and the PS5. I did a quick cable test on my Denon 3700h, and it did indeed pass up to 8k(40Gbps). I swapped out my existing cable, and bam, my HDR and pass-through issues were resolved. At 40′, I have all the goodies HDR, newest color space, running 4k@60hz/120hz. I waited before I ran this in my ceiling/wall, and here I am a few months later, and it is working perfectly. I guess time will tell for this cable but a few months in and it exceeded my expectations.

I have a Hisense U7G 75 inch tv and Onkyo 8k receiver both of which are Earc compatible. I could not get the sound to work propetly using Earc after ordering 4 brand new 40 to 50 ft. 48gps 120hz hdmi cables from other companies including monoprice. The ordeal was frustrating because the first two cables were ran behind sheetroock from one room to another to only realize the cables did not work and then subsequently had to be removed.

Yes Ruipro is a little more expensive than some other brands but Earc support worked right away and the picture was perfect. With that being said, you can order a cheaper cable and hope it works with the newer tvs, receivers and gaming consoles that support 8k and or 120hz, or you can save time and frustration and order a cable that works the first time out of the box as advertised Five out of Five stars !

I’ve now been using this cable for a few weeks and it turns out it’s fine for HD, 4K.

But not for HDR 10. It will not pass HDR 10 signal along its 13m length. So this is turned out to be a complete waste of money. It does nothing more than my old cheap HDMI cable I had in when I had an HD projector. HDR eight seems okay, but if you’re using services like Disney+ they don’t seem to support 4K unless you have 4K HDR 10. So it outputs in HD not 4K when using that service with this HDMI cable. NOTE. This cable is a One Direction cable make sure you install it the right way round if hiding behind walls or trunking. One end is for the sauce the other end is for the screen.

Install it the wrong way round and it will not work at all

I have four of these cables, longest is 25ft. They connect computers with Nvidia 3080, Titan RTX and 2080 Ti GPUs. Connections are not directly to the monitor but to TESmart x16 HDMI switch. Switch is connected to the Acer monitor running at 3840×1600 at 75 Hz. I had some intermittent problems with one of the connections, but it’s hard to say was it a cable or switch fault. I sent email to the company and they immediately shipped me another 25ft cable. It was shipped with Fedex from China and I got it in 2 days! Must have been expensive shipping. This is really top notch customer service and the cables are great. They are expensive but I tried copper cables and at this length they don’t work reliably if at all.

Better than fine in fact, the stock cable that came with my xbox isnt as colour vibrant as these are. The cable itself is solid, quality feel. Not super flexible given they are thick. And connectors are plated as the picture showed. Nice end caps to keep the connectors clean in transit. Tested on my samsung and Gigabyte M28u as HDR compatible and 120hz enabled no issues

I have tried all streaming methods such as Steam link, Moonlight, NVidia gamestream and all had lag, artefacts or strange connection issues. This was the only way I was able to get my RTX3080 to output to an LG C9 downstairs. The first cable I received was defective and would cut out randomly after a few minutes. I contacted RUIPRO and they shipped a replacement from China 3 days later. Since then it was worked flawlessly. Can finally play games on my couch without macro blocking, minimal latency and high refresh rate.

The only negative is the price, will have to baby this cable as its too expensive to just leave strewn about.

I had a tricky route between amplifier and projector of over 11 metres though conduit.
Little did I know in the first install how critical cable is to full 4K HDR signals!
Not only is mere HD HDMI cable not up to the huge data transmission required, but any sort of extension leads are a no-no because digital copy protection software witchcraft detects the join and actually prevents you watching 4K as they believe you must be trying to breach the copyright – Doh!
One unbroken cable has to be used between devices.
Research led me to this product as had reliable reviews and wasn’t extreme audiophile exotica expensive but neither suspiciously cheap.
The cable being fibre optic means I could ‘pull’ it through the conduit using a pulling string wisely left- in during the build. Note: I used copious globs of cable-pulling lube to aid the process and extra care in taping up the leading end of the new cable to make a nice taper and also ensure pulling forces could not put too much stress on the cable end terminal.
Job done and I have 4K HDR 10bit colour from an Amazon fire cube tv box via an Anthem AVR to Epson 4K pixel shift projector- I’m most happy with end result.
NB: Had this installed for approx 10 months with no issues at all.

I tested many cables over the last year, all failed. Some synced at 4:4:4 but has lines across the screen, or disconnects like the ATV 4?K displayed. The best cable I had before this was a Wyrestorm HAOC 15 which worked up to 4:2:0 but failed when set to 4:4:4 on any 4K content.

I read reviews about this cable and gave it a try, installed today and did the same tests that I have done all the previous cables. well, everything works perfectly.. No drops, disconnects, horizontal lines. This was most evident on the Apple TV 4K and a PS5. thank you!

I rarely write reviews on amazon, but this one is definitely worth talking about. I spent an insane amount of time researching long cables that would work for the xbox series x. HDMI 2.1 cables are only able to carry 4k 120hz for about 10 feet. There is a lot of bad information out there, and so many cables claim they can carry 4k 120hz over 10 feet and actually don’t work. I bought the 20 foot cable, and it works flawlessly with my Xbox Series X delivering crisp 4k HDR at 120hz. If you were in a situation like me and have an xbox series x and need a long cable, this is the one. Yea, it is expensive, but it works.

I replaced a 10m copper HDMI with this last week. The old HDMI was right on the limit with 4k content – I’d see occasional two-second drop outs, occasional snow (oddly, more commonly with 1080p content), HDCP sync issues, and a total refusal to do 4k50/60 4:4:4. With this cable it’s absolutely rock solid, no issues whatsoever. eARC is also working fine – no issue with Atmos/DD+.

Installation through an existing conduit was fine – the plugs were of similar size to the copper cable’s, and the cable itself is thinner and more flexible.

All in all, if you’ve got HDMI issues and you’re running 8m+ of cable, get this.

I searched all over for an HDMI 2.1 cable longer than 16′ that supports my Xbox at 4k 120fps. Finally settled on this one and the first one I received didn’t work at all with 4k 120fps. I exchanged it for a new one, which does work most of the time. There are still occasions where either my TV or Xbox doesn’t detect the other supporting the 2.1 features, but it seems to work again after a restart of one of my devices. UPDATE 1/10/22 – The issue was related to the TV and after an update this cable has been working without issue.

I had a high speed copper cable running over 15M previously, I had encountered hand shake problems when transmitting 10-bit colour via Sky Q and convinced myself to spend 200+ on a cable. I’ve not regretted it at all (up to now). I’ve had the cable installed for around 3 weeks, the colour and clarity is a HUGE upgrade from the previous cable and I’ve had no handshake issues at all.

Before I bought this, I tried an optical HDMI from a reputable high street store which failed to transmit 10-bit and would only do 8.

I wrote to the seller asking for the latest version, they were very helpful and shipped the cable immediately. It took around 1 week which was a lot quicker than expected.

This is the third hdmi 2.1 cable I”ve purchased to connect my TV (LG C9 OLED) to my PC’s GPU (RTX 3080).

The first one was a 16ft Zeskit cable that was recommended by HDTV test on youtube, this cable worked just fine, but is very thick, very stiff, and heavy. This cable gave me concerns regarding port longevity, as it puts a fair amount of stress on the hdmi port from the stiffness and sheer weight of the cable. I wasn’t happy with this so I started looking into optical cables. amazon link: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07S1BNM7K/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1

The second cable was a MFE fiber cable. This one is plenty long, light, and flexible, but thats about all I can say, as it didn’t work. It was the cheapest one with a review I could find though… Amazon link: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08HGSN4L9/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1

This cable was the third one I’ve purchased, and it worked out of the box! So I’m very happy thus far. 4k @120hz with HDR over 20ft. It does what it says on the tin. I’ll update this review if I have issues down the line, but so far I’m happy with this cabl;e.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersIf you’re looking for an above average length HDMI 2.1 cable because your PC sits more than ~10ft from your TV, look no further. I have probably tried half a dozen cables on Amazon that claim HDMI 2.1 48Gbps support at 100ft and none of them have worked at 4K@120Hz with G-Sync and 10bit color. There was always a compromise.

I’m happy to say that RUIPRO’s cable finally delivered the full capability of my TV. I have the 100ft version and using their USB powered HDMI plug (and HDMI 4 of my TV), I can set 4K, 120Hz, HDR, G-SYNC, and 10bit color and the picture is perfect. I am using this setup with an EVGA RTX 3080 FTW3 Ultra.

If you need a longer HDMI 2.1 cable, this is it.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersA very pricey HDMI 2.1 33 foot cable. This is the most I’ve spent for a cable and paid for express shipping with DHL to be shipped all the way from China. It was well worth it. It was well packaged and safe from damages when I received it. Express shipping was fast given the distance and the pandemic. The Cable worked as stated and pumped out 4K @120hz gaming bliss on my LG CX 48 when plugged into my PC with an RTX 3090!

Do not plug in the 5v USB adapter into your PC. Just plug the respective cable ends to the right ports and play!

I wasn’t thrilled with the idea of spending over $100 for an HDMI cable, but all of my research suggested that going 50 feet with a traditional HDMI cable would push a traditional cable’s signal limits. Although I am using a 4K Apple TV running through my sound system, my projector is only 1080P, so I’m not sure if it is ACTUALLY sending 4K worth of signal, but whatever signal it is sending, it works flawlessly and I feel that if I do upgrade to a 4K projector, I’ll be well served. Some reviewers have noted it failing after only a few weeks – I have had no issues a few months in. The cable is nice and thin and was easy to run around the perimeter of the room from source to projector. The cable also does communicate back from the projector and automatically turns on the sound system when the projector is turned on.

Golden Review Award: 16 From Our UsersI can’t believe I found a cable that actually works for the RTX 3080 and my OLED. It seems like the majority of cables are sold by sleezy sellers that claim 48 gbps yet barely get 18. While I can’t say this is 48 gbps since I don’t have an avr that tests throughput, I can say this: The 30ft cable sends 4k at 120hz with RGB 8bit, gsync enabled and HDR. And no drop outs. I had ONE drop out and I believe the adapter that gives power through usb caused it as removing it has provided dropout free signal ever since.
Another point: this cable is VERY thin and flexible, comes nicely packaged and feels good quality. I’m very impressed overall with it and the only thing that kills it a little for me is the price. $170 is a LOT to pay and I feel is intentionally marked up well beyond fair market value as a result of there being so little options out currently for people needing longer cables. If you only need 10-15ft you can get copper cables that cost $15-$20. And I know fiber optic doesn’t increase the price THAT much, toslink cables are fiber optic and cost very little, so this is clearly just an opportunity to make huge margins in a niche category.
Everything said, I can’t help but recommend this cable to anyone looking to send hdmi 2.1 signal further than 15 ft, at least until some competition drives pricing down.

I needed a cable that was at least 35 ft long to connect my projector to my PS5. I tried 4 other cables before buying this RUIPRO HDMI 2.0 cable. 3 of the 4 (DTECH, KOLIFE and AviBrex) wouldn’t even send a signal when the PS5 was set to 4K. Some couldn’t even send with it set to 720p. The 1 of the 4 that kind of worked was the C&E 35 ft cable, but it caused flicking on the screen. I had to decrease 4K transfer rate on the PS5 to -2 for that to go away.

I decided to try the RUIPRO 40 ft cable and it worked perfectly with the PS5 at the normal 4K transfer rate, displaying 4K @60Hz with HDR. The RUIPRO cable was expensive but it was worth it, I recommend it. Save yourself the trouble of trying cheaper cables.

Bought the 12m 4K cable. Works very well with my Samsung TV, Onkyo amplifier and source units (Apple TV, Sky Box). Customer service also excellent, I had to exchange a 10m version as was too short. Overall, definitely recommend. Update: I ran this cable under my floor and through my wall. The preinstalled duct is unfortunately not continuous and obstructed in parts. So a bit of careful elbow grease was needed to get the cable through and it worked fine once plugged in. So the cable seems reasonably durable too.

I needed to replace a 15 meter (50 foot) copper HDMI cable with an optical HDMI cable, to support an upgrade to 4K/HDR/Dolby Vision. My research suggested that cheaper optical HDMI cables sometimes don’t work well, and that Ruipro cables were well thought of, so I bought the 15 meter Ruipro even though it was fairly expensive.

The build quality seems very high, and it “just worked” after I installed it. So I’m quite pleased with it. I have no way of knowing whether it will last many years like my copper cable, but based on two weeks use I can recommend it.
