Hopefully a good freeze
I went with this freezer as it is a good name and the energy rating was good.There seemed to be a problem with delivery -the freezer turned up a day early but luckily we were just going out. Very well packed and taken to the outside shed by the driver so all in all very happy so far.
Good Produc
Had the smaller version of this freezer for about 4-years now. This particular size is quite great. Love the fact that thermostat is very effective and one can adjust to any temperature of choice depending on your need, and so save on energy cost. Downside is that the stands (legs are not adjustable or cannot buy extra legs to comfortably place the freezer, other than leaving it on the non-durable bottom protection that came with it. I recommend this item to all .

Had this since Feb. and so far very pleased. Motor running a fraction of the time of old freezer it replaced, so uses much less power. Also easier and quicker to defrost, – ice does not seem to adhere to freezer wall so much and comes away more easily with supplied plastic scraper.
Only slight negative, – unit was quite noisy in operation. Tracked this down to grill on side of freezer covering motor vibrating. Solved completely by placing small strips of old rubber carpet underlay between grill and freezer. Virtually silent now.

Great little freezer – consistently keeps things at -19. Very quiet. Only downside is the lid snaps open and slams shut! Will be buying another for extra storage.

Good outdoors chest freezer and value for money.
We have this chest freezer outdoors in the garage and it’s not too big to be moved easily by two people. We recently bought half a lamb, and the capacity of the freezer easily allowed for this to be frozen. We haven’t received our energy bill yet, so it remains to see if it’s as energy efficient as promised. It’s a good brand make anyway, and we’re very happy with it!

Really like this freezer, it looks great and freezes well – if you turn it on the highest freezing level then you’d probably need to defrost your stuff for days, lol. It really does work well. I’m happy with this purchase.

It’s a very lightweight piece of equipment whichever you can reposition it very easily. A word of caution the lid does open very quickly so be careful. It springs open!!

Fantastic freeze
I really don’t know how we managed without this! We have three large dogs, all fed raw, and use this for mainly their food. There’s enough room for a couple of weeks’ worth at a time, which makes life much simpler. It’s very lightweight, the delivery man lifted it into the house and then I managed to move it easily to where I wanted it. I would recommend to anyone.

I’ve just started using it and it seems to be working very well. We’ll it’s under a 5 year warranty if any problems occur. It’s Very quiet. Very spacious. BE VERY CAREFUL WHEN OPENING THE FREEZER AS THE LID FLYS Up on my one. Just hold the lid when opening it. (A hazard warning should be on the freezer for that)
Not pleased about paying 275 and the price dropping down to 259 a week later. The tight twats could have reimbursed me the difference but chose not too.

Arrived very quickly, exactly as shipping schedule. Delivery guys where very helpful and removed old broken large chest freezer and installed new one. Overall very happy with new freezer, appears to be exactly as described. Only minor niggle, would have been nice to have an automatic light when freezer lid opened like old one! Perfect size – remarkably lightweight, so I can move it around my “kitchen”. Which is basically an empty shell right now. Enough room to store a good quantity of food, which right now looks a good idea.
A good basic chest freezer, but awkward for smaller people to reach food stored near the bottom
A basic chest freezer, not too big, but with ample space to suit a couple. The downside is that it is very small front to back, but also very deep, making it difficult to reach items stored near the bottom. Our previous freezer had the same volume, but was deeper and shallower so that everything was within easy reach. For tall people this isn’t a problem, but for those of us in the 5’0″ to 5′ 6″ height range it’s not so good.
My teenage son took receipt of this product whilst I was at work. It was disappointing to be informed when I arrived home, that the delivery driver simply left this large, heavy item on the pavement without any offer of helping him move it through our front door – this would have added a maximum of 30 seconds to the delivery drivers day but instead he left my son to struggle with this large, heavy item down some steps, through the front door. The product was very well packaged but has a faint scratch on the lid of the freezer, which I’m willing to turn a blind eye to. I’ve plugged it in and it seems to work but haven’t loaded any frozen products in yet so can’t report how well it works at this stage – what I can say is that it looks very smart and compliments my black Hotpoint fridge/freezer quite nicely, which stands alongside it. The lid action is smooth and we’re looking forward to filling it with treats and goodies.
LACK OF BASKETS
Firstly its easy to use ,set up and clean..
Had it almost a year and no problems yet.
If I had to make a complaint it would be lack of extra baskets..and if you wanted to purchase one from Russel Hobbs they charge a rediculous amount. And I just cant find any aftermarket ones the correct size…
This means having to dig through the frozen food to get at the lower food

Excellent. Not too small and not too large. When my chest freezer packed up during lockdown I could only find replacements on Amazon. This chest freezer has proved to be just right. Would be a good idea to provide more than one basket plus a stop on the springloaded lid and a light.
Good size, reasonable price with 5 years warranty
A good item. There was dent on one side but it works fine. A bit expensive but with five years warranty the price is fine. This size is good for a family of six to seven people.

Nice and compact - seems to work fine in a garage
We wanted to replace a very old and small freezer in our garage. Delivery was faultless – really nice driver who unpacked it and moved it to the right place. So far it seems to work and the 5 year guarantee is reassuring. Spring loaded lid is a bonus once you are used to it!
Only criticism is that it only comes with one basket. Bought another two which makes the space more usable.
This is only the second chest freezer I have ever owned. I consider it a necessity as I have a large family. My previous chest freezer lasted for more than 20 years and I never intentionally defrosted it even once. This chest freezer is considerably colder than my previous one. I am very happy with it. It runs very quietly. It is in my dining room at the moment and doesnt look out of place, its quite handy being there. The black finish gives it a smart appearance. So far so good. Saves me a lot of time (fewer shopping trips).

Good sized product well made and also has a visual alarm on the unit if it has a issue, the basket inside is a bit flimsy but that said does the job , I brought this unit over others as this had a guarantee for 5 year rather that a warrantee

Brilliant freezer for garage
his is a spacious chest freezer, great value for money, I would have liked a larger basket included. The only moan I would have is that the lid spring is too powerful and you have to make sure your ready for tit.
Works okay at the moment, ask me in 18 months
This is to replace my last chest freezer which lasted just 18 months. The engineer said that was because of the inadequately sized compressor which had to work too hard. This one looks no more manly so we shall see.

So far so good only received it yesterday but very nice and fits in the garage beautifully. Freezes amazing and very quiet. Delivery driver Rob from Product care was extremely helpful, help us to unpack and take away the packaging, very nice man. The customer service from Electrical Shop to Product Care has been A+++ well done.
Company has great communications
The freezer is exactly as I expected – perfect. Everything from ordering to delivery was excellent. This is mainly due to a company which relies and uses communications as it is intended. I was never left in doubt where the freezer was and when it would be delivered . Cannot think of any negatives, probably because there weren’t any.

We bought this as a current fridge freezer does not have enough capacity to store our frozen food. Delivered quickly and easily to the house obeying the social distance rules. Seems to be working well now filled and running. A+ energy rating should help keep the bills down but will monitor. the 5 year guarantee is a must to opt into.

I’m loving this freezer, so much more space than the freezer half of my fridge freezer. I am now going to buy a free standing fridge without a freezer included giving me more fridge space too, best of both worlds.

Arrived on time and appears to be working well but I have only recently received it and turned it on. Using in the garage to store produce from my allotment and could do with a slightly longer electrical lead to reach the socket.
I’m very pleased with this product. It has plenty of space and is very quiet running. My delivery was excellent from Electrical Shop via Amazon and Russell Hobbs were extremely helpful on the phone when I called to ask a question about the product.

Excellent service from selle
Excellent service, I was given the choice of delivery dates and arrived on time with a phone call from the driver to say a more precise time, the driver then carried this on his own into my home unpacked it and let me inspect the product, even asked if there was anything else he could do for me! The product itself does what it says on the tin! It’s a freezer it’s lightweight, shame it doesn’t have a light in the lid but not something I thought about when I ordered it so my fault there! Easy lift lid, in fact it springs open a bit to hard. But over all good product and the service received from the seller has upped it to an excellent buy.
Had this fridge for over 4 years now, and I have to say it certainly out lasted my expectations. it’s a large enough space to fit an entire lamb or cow (cut up into portions ofcouse) and still have enough space to probably put in a bag of fish fingers. I can’t tell you about noise as this freezer is kept outside in the shed, but it is certainly sturdy, and lasted a long time.

This freezer is exactly what I wanted, big enough for my needs, only two of us but like to buy food in bulk when on special offers or “whoopsies” prices, which means they have to sell right now. Light in weight which is good for moving around and has wheels on one side so can move it easily.
Only thing which I found weird is the adjustable legs to stabilise the freezer are not in the front, they are on one end back and front on the left hand side which I thought strange, used cardboard to stabilise, but now okay. I have freezer in outhouse so have to use torch for freezer as no inside light, but that’s just more stuff to go wrong isn’t it. Ive given this freezer a good account but only just received not long ago so cant comment on life of the freezer. I would say though, I don’t advise buying hotpoint frost free freezer coz you have to open it up yourself every so often to defrost it manually. Daw
Item is a very good size not to large but with more than enough storage. The motor Is very quiet and the overall build quality is very good. The freezer which is A rated and comes with 2yrs warranty is Not an unattractive addition to the laundry. Very pleased
