Had the drone for Christmas. Great little product but had a problem with one of the batteries not charging.
Contacted Syma Warranty via email twice, but not heard anything back from them.
Hopefully they will resolve the issue otherwise I’ll have to return the item, which is a pity as it’s a great little drone.
This drone is an absolute bargain!
It takes less than 10 minutes to set up, just a case of adding the blades and protectors on (screwdriver is included as well)
The protectors are absolutely amazing as if (like me) you’re rubbish at steering and knock it into something, the protectors bounce off it and you don’t damage any of the propeller blades!
It weighs next to nothing but is still VERY stable and easy to steer. Would highly recommend for both kids and adults.
Absolutely so happy with the product, comes with screwdriver to place batteries in the remote. No model or toy does that so saved a lot of time!. Comes with a battery pack for the drone and a spare one too with spare repellents. The drone it’s self does 3D moves and many more. This would make a perfect gift for any little or big kid. Would highly recommend excellent for beginners to advance drone flyers out there.
distinctive heli-quod – this thing flies remarkably well and has its folding arms feature – has a low gear sound and is quiet. its suitable for outside in calmish conditions – by its geometry it can fly faster sideways so in emergency u can get it back if u remember this trick – overall its great fun and has a spare battery. a bit of training on a shielded micro quod would be helpful for beginners.
Amazing drone for the price, the 2 battery option is a must, clear instructions, very quick and responsive drone, not yet used the app with it but can’t wait, just trying to master the basic and advanced functionality with the remote first… Well recommended, but buy the blade guards to protect the blades and yourself!!!!! It’s wicked
Easy to control drone, great value for money. Only problem is that the camera isn’t great but it doesn’t matter because the drone is so good! Definitely recommend!
This drone was my first drone and it took a little bit of getting used to but once I got the hang of it I was able to do cool tricks and get great footage. Easy to set up and connect to phone and controller. Fun little bit of kit! Make sure to use in low winds as is lightweight.

Very easy to fly, with computer assistance it basically flying itself.
Simply to fly with phone, little more difficult using remote control.
Wish you could remotely pivot the camera but can’t complain as the price is amazing.
Also battery life is decent even with camera model.
Would hope they improve on battery life, camera, camera remote pivot ability, and improve the blade bumper attachment as it only protects roughly 20 degrees.

When my order arrive it did not fly properly. However, I was offered a full refund or replacement. I chose to go with the replacement and I am so pleased I did. This drone is amazing value for money. Comes mostly assembled but easily completed. Flying it is just as easy with the remote control being responsive and easy to master. As a first drone, it makes a fantastic gift for anyone, even for yourself. Buy one and have great fun.
This is a great Drone/Copter for kids or amateurs to learn with.
Having never used a drone before I felt that this was the ideal first timers piece of kit. It is priced reasonably at 89 however with the current voucher offer this drops to 69. It comes with rotor protectors which simply clip in and help avoid any damage if you hit nearby obstacles. On that note it seems very durable.
The batteries are easy to change and to charge and you can get setup and flying without even looking at instructions (though it’s recommended that you do).
After a few tries the controls become intuitive and there are tricks you can also do. I’ve not become that proficient flying this yet – hence no flying videos!!
I would definitely recommend this drone!
his is a foldable drone with camera and remote controller, it’s quite compact in size, about palm size when folded, extremely lightweight, with battery installed it weighs only 74g
there is a controller included, it takes 4 x aa batteries (not included), also it need a mobile phone and the syma fly app installed to work
this model got a 1080p camera in the front, well i didnt’t expect a crystal clear camera at this price tag, the camera works as expected, video quality is acceptable
this drone seems not very easy to control for beginners, it will never hover very stable in the air without control, it keeps moving all way around, up and down, i have to keep controlling its position to make it stable in the air
because of it’s size and weight, it’s mainly good for indoor, or probably play in garden when there is no wind, it takes wifi signal to connect, so always keep it in line of sight and not flying too far away
anyway, the drone is durable, after a few crashes seems it’s still no sign of damage, can fly again without any problem
all in all, i’m satisfied with this product, would recommend
This is easy to fly using the remote, it feels flimsy but has withstood a few crashes so I think it’s pretty robust. We can’t work the app or the camera though. Not sure if it’s only compatible with certain operating systems. Will come back and update if we ever figure it out. It is handy that it folds, it makes travelling with it easier. It’s definitely a beginners drone and not for professional drone flyers. Ideal as a child’s first drone though.
This is a low/medium budget gadget, so I didn’t expect much from it, but it has proven to be a really good toy for a rather old bloke
Out of the box, it definitely is compact, but once unfolded and batteries charged ready to play, the compact size is actually a bonus as it allows you to use it in smaller spaces.
Paired easily with an Android device, and footage came through without lag, it is being marketed as a beginners’ unit, and small, but rather helpful features like altitude hold and one button take off/landing, along with auto landing with low battery rather than crash landing are very handy for beginners and will save a lot of crashes.
Batteries provide around 10 minutes’ flight time each (20 total), a bit too short, but once you have mastered the controls, 10 minutes of uninterrupted flight can be fun, and will be long enough to take a decent still picture, or a short video footage.
There’s spare propellers and guards too, thoughtful and will help prolong the lifespan of your toy.
Overall: At 129.99 with a 30% voucher (Around 90) at the time of reviewing, it is an excellent gift for beginner with the discount, would definitely recommend.

An easy to use, sturdy little drone that takes high quality photos.
This is my first time using a drone and I would highly recommend it for other beginners due to its ease of use. Simply unpack the product, download the app and you’re ready to go.
Take caution in windy conditions but on a clear day it is easy enough to keep control of and perfect for wide open landscape. A perfect personal hobby to begin or a great gift for a photographer or someone who likes walks/travelling!
First off and out of the box the drone came with two dents (one left and one right) which you can see in the pictures provided. Having said that I have crashed into things since and there has been no extra damage.
Out of the box it takes a little getting used to. I have a flyable helicopter and this flys similar and took the same 10-20 minutes to get the hang of it. Flying forward is easier but anything else you need to get your head around it.
It’s pretty powerful and there is a lot of downwash and can be quite loud too. I have really enjoyed messing around with it but have a couple of small issues.
Issue 1 – The Cost, Maybe times and the rise in drones but my helicopter does similar to this without the tricks at half the price.
Issue 2 – The battery is stuck and I can’t remove it from the device to change over. Flight time around 10-15 minutes.
The App, I had reservations as the app score is pretty low and comments say the app crashes however, I haven’t had any issues with connectivity to the drone and the app has never crashed. Camera works well and drone can be controlled via your mobile. I do prefer the controls it comes with over the app though and there is a little messing around so you can have picture on your phone whilst using the controller instead of the phone.
Drone comes with 2 batteries however, the one pre installed on mine is stuck and I am unable to remove it so have to charge the battery with the device attached and that means I only get a small amount of flight time.
Controls are good, I like that you have a button to auto take off and land and the drone will also automatically land when the battery is about to die. This is nice that the drone just doesn’t fall out of the sky.
You get replacement propellers/guards for repairing any damage due to crash landing, a replacement battery however, no batteries included for the controller which takes 4x AA batteries.
I’ve never used a drone before but it was surprisingly so easy to set up and the camera quality is amazing despite the drone being so compact! Love it, totally recommend!
Flying this drone is so much fun !
Assembling/ charging the drone was quick and easy as it came with clear, simple instructions. Flying it is exciting and can be done both inside and outside. I was surprised to see that when I crashed the drone a couple of times whilst getting used to navigating it, it remained in perfect condition.
It has a strong build and has endless tricks you can practice, definitely worth the fun and would recommend !!

The product I received was the drone, 2x rechargeable batteries, replacement parts and instructions (upgraded edition).
This is a good quality drone, which has a foldable design and is easy to set up via the App. You get two batteries with this edition, I found that we got 10 minutes fly-time on each battery, therefore getting 20 minutes flight. There is a built-in HD camera (at the front of the drone) with a 90 adjustable angle — you are able to edit your recording and upload to social media from your mobile device.
Flying the drone is straight-forward, you have a simple one button take off/landing and is very steady when in flight. You have the option off turns, flips and rolls and can (using the App map) log the flying route. With the gravity sensor you can fly the drone by moving your smart phone/electronic device up or down allowing the drone to follow your phone’s direction. You get replacement propellers/guards for repairing any damage due to crash landing.
Overall this is a good product, ideal for beginners, easy to operate and a fair price for the quality of the drone.
The quality of this drone is top notch. The GPS feature is amazing. Makes a great gift for kids young and old Mine is for my Dad, and he loves it!

The control of the drone is brilliant along with the with it can do and brilliant for all ages. The camera and video functions work very well as well, all together very pleased with this product.
It is a little tricky to get used to the controls, but after some training, it flies really well and it looks really cool as well.
Make sure you fly it in a big open space until you get used to the controls!
This Micro drone is the drone to get if you have never flown a drone before. My 1st indoor 7 minutes I crash it about every 15 seconds, 2nd 7 minutes outdoors flew it up to about 30 ft and although it wasn’t windy wind caught it and sent it 2 gardens down the road, 3rd 7 minutes got the hang of it and it is a brilliant tiny little drone fly’s perfect you have to trim with A button. I bought this to practice with until DJI mini 2 s or 3 arrives. SUM up, You won’t go wrong with this drone intact buy 2 of them for 15 minutes fly time it’s so much fun 7 minutes isn’t enough time. 100% drone.
I paid 16.99 for this drone and I have to say I was blown away by how well it performs.
If you’re looking to get into the drone world you will not go wrong with this.
It is so easy to fly and has a few cool features like Altitude Hold, Auto take off and landing, headless mode and 3D flips.
I paid 13 for this and at this price, it’s a bargain. Great little drone, quite easy to control with minimal practise. Had a couple of bumps and so far it is completely undamaged.
The only thing which slightly lets it down is the very short flight time at not much more than a few minutes and relatively long charging time, but for the price I can’t complain much

Easy to set up and has a host of extras that are great and add to the experience! HD camera with very clear pictures. You get two rechargeable lithium batteries but you need to buy your own batteries for the controller. Extra bonus is that it comes with USB charger cable which is handy when you need to charge on the go. Love it love it love it.

You do need to support 4xAA batteries for the remote, so don’t let that take you by surprise.
To start the drone just put it on the ground and hold the button on the top until the LEDs light up. Then turn on the remote and either use the left stick to take off, or the shoulder button for ‘auto take off and hover’ – then fly! It handles really well, just like the other Syma drones I’ve tried – though it’s not a big fan of windy conditions and is a little bit big to fly indoors (in my house anyway) so you’ll wait to wait for a calm day to really enjoy it.
For an even better experience, download the Syma app for your phone and control the drone via WiFi. Using the app it’s even easier to control the drone and you can view the video in real time. There’s no SD card in the drone, you record the footage via WiFi straight to your phone – if you’ve ever used a drone with an SD card you’ll really appreciate this, no fiddling with the battery component then fishing the card out just to review the footage.
All in all – if you get this you’ll definitely enjoy it, just don’t go out on a windy day!
Great little drone that is relatively entry level but for money and spec – very good. Had mine for 9 months of so and used a number of times and was very impressed. It did develop a fault whereby one rota would turn on as soon as the battery was put in. However I contacted Syma and within 4 days they replaced the whole thing – Wow! Fantastic customer service – buy with confidence!
First practice run went well, not had chance to test all the features yet, however, so far so good. Haven’t been able to get the controller to control the drone, instead I have been using my phone, however, this is probably something I am doing rather than the unit. After all, I am a man and I hate instructions. I will bite the bullet next time I have it out and read them first.
You get two rechargeable lithium batteries but you need to supply the batteries for the controller. You also get extra propeller blades.
Follow the instructions, download the app and you are good to go.
I have one of the Syma drones already so I am used to flying them but I would practise a little inside before you go outside. In saying that they are super easy to fly.
Its a fantastic looking drone, well built and pretty strong/sturdy.
The photos and videos this drone can take are of a great quality and I am looking forward to when we can actually get a group of people together so I can take an aerial photo!

If you would like to start out with drone flying this is the place to start. The build quality is great and can take a few knocks of the walls and ceiling as you get used to flying. The battery life is around 10 minutes which is plenty of time to enjoy the flying experience and get to grips with the controls. The syma brand has great build quality and the same applies to this drone. I would recommend this for children and adults if you want to get into flying RC toys you cannot go wrong with this drone.

Perfect for a Christmas or birthday present for any older child or adult. An absolutely bargain, already had so many laughs playing with it.
I love this drone, it is very light and easy to use, you can control it by using an app or by the controller which is cool! You can take photos and videos and the battery life lasts quite long for a day out, it also has a spare battery that you can bring along. As it is light best you use it with less wind. But overall really happy with it and would recommend

This was bought for my 14yrs old son to play with!
Was very impressed of how easy it was to glide around the room and outdoors.
Also with how high it could go and was still able to control it!
Love the bright green and red lights, when mobile it sounds like an insect flying across the room.
Will need 4 aaa batteries for the controller, the drone has a cable to charge it and only takes 70 mins to fully charge.
Overall, worth the money and would highly recommend buying one even for yourself!
