I write up a lot of things with 5 stars because they deliver on their promises, are solid and provide good bang for the buck. But occasionally I get blown out of the water by a product and this is one of those cases. Sufficient research both on Amazon and YouTube told me that the product would vacuum well and I knew I wouldn’t be getting all the attachments or an extra battery. The only thing I was a bit concerned about was the overall robustness. While it’s not indestructible, it’s no wimp either. It should hold up well over the long haul. However, the thing that blew me away was the quietness of the unit. I could carry on a conversation with a speaker phone and I don’t think it would bother someone on the other end. I’ve tried the different levels but for our tile floors the automatic mode does quite well. I think the head designed for tile and hardwood floors would be even better but that’s more of a luxury than a need. We’ve had robots, corded bags and bag less vacuums over the years but this does better than any of them (eat your heart out Rumba, Kirby, and Hoover). Dyson could be slightly better but not the hundreds of dollars more they change.

I have been eyeing this vacuum for a while. Read all the reviews which numerous have mentioned it comes with two battery packs (the main reason I decided to purchase this unit). The A11 Hero does not. It’s a necessity when the battery life isn’t great. Who wants to wait to charge a battery? Very inconvenient. Will be returning.

This vacuum works amazing! The hair and dust it picks up is unbelievable! I have three indoor dogs. I actually vacuum everyday now because it’s so convient. Also my dogs aren’t affraid of it. The only draw back is the battery life. It doesn’t last very long and I really need it too. The batteries are pretty pricey.

I purchased this vacuum cleaner two years ago when shopping for a Dyson, and I am very happy I picked up a Tineco instead. I use it every single day cleaning my 1000 square foot condo, and I never have to worry about battery life. I own a terrier, and this vacuum (with its powerful suction and various attachments) picks up 99% of the hair my dog constantly sheds. The vacuum is quiet enough when functioning that my dog doesn’t notice, and it’s compact enough to hide in my entryway closet. It’s perfect for my life and my space. I recently had a minor motor issue with my Tineco, and when I notified their customer service team about it, they responded quickly and offered the best solution possible. I really appreciate this vacuum and this company. I will undoubtedly own a Tineco vacuum for the rest of my life.

Love this Vac! I’ve used a Henry for years and will continue to do so for certain applications, but this is a different concept. Just unhook it from the charging holster and you’re off No fiddling around, tripping over cables or plugging in and out. Stairs are a breeze and the Tineco is so light, a child could use it. The single supplied battery holds enough power to cover a good area, it’s easy to empty and the suction is surprisingly good. Very pleased, highly recommended!

We had some issues with the vacuum, but they quickly worked with us to resolve and we are now in the testing phase to make sure it’s working better! Will return with an update. Fantastic customer service.

I got this product because I live in a very small apartment so driving around a big vacuum was not the move. It worked fantastic For about 3 to 4 months, after that it started having issues with the suction power, little by little within a month it completely went out so now instead of actually sucking up the dirt, it just spouts it out onto different parts of the carpet, I have tried everything in the book to make it work, and aside from the battery that dies within approximately 20 minutes of starting it It was great when I first got it by the way, now it just doesn’t work at all . Honestly don’t waste your time, if a product that costs around $300 is going to die within a couple of months of using it on basic tasks.then maybe I would be better off with a cheaper one anyways.

I purchased this product ten days ago, plus the hardwood/bare floor cleaner head to complement the carpet cleaner head that it comes with. Half of my home is hardwood or laminate flooring. I was very impressed with its cleaning power on the “Min” setting. It picked up dirt, dust, and lots of my dog’s fur that my old corded Kenmore Intuition vacuum cleaner didn’t touch. I got about 40 minutes of runtime from one battery.

I only used the “Med” setting with the small head for cleaning the dog fur off of some living room Lazy Boy chairs, one of which is my dog’s chair. The “Min” setting would have cleaned up all of the fur but it would have taken a few minutes longer.

I read a lot of reviews that said you needed “Max” power for the vacuum to clean effectively. That was not my experience. By keeping the filters clean and emptying the dust bowl frequently, good suction was maintained, superior to my old corded vacuum cleaner. I ordered two spare batteries to add to the two batteries that come with the A11 Hero EX, based on those reviews. They will not be needed.

I spent 40 minutes vacuuming the main floor today, plus the carpeted basement stairs. It was all done on one battery, and as I said, it picked up dirt and fur that my old corded vacuum did not.

Examing the A11, you will note that it is superbly engineered. Much thought has gone into every detail of its design.

I believe, based on my limited experience that those customers complaining of inadequate cleaning power, except when at the “Max” power setting, are just not following the instructions. If the pre-filter is allowed to clog up, suction, and hence cleaning effectiveness, is greatly reduced.

To have the convenience of a cordless, lightweight vacuum cleaner, you do have to accept that you do need to keep the pre-filter clean. I use an old toothbrush to clean it off each time when I frequently empty the dust bowl to keep the A11 performing at its best.

Check the cleaner head(s) as well to ensure that they are not clogged and remove wound-up pet fur on the carpet cleaner head. To me, these extra steps are well worth the effort to enjoy the convenience of this awesome cordless vacuum cleaner.

If you do have bare or hardware floors, be sure to purchase the soft roller bare/hardwood floor cleaner head. It is much more effective at cleaning those surfaces than the included carpet cleaner head.

I highly recommend this product. I will keep my old corded vacuum only to remind me of how much I hated it. It was heavy, awkward, and did not do a good job cleaning up pet fur.

If you take care to read and follow the instructions, I assure you that you will be so very impressed by the performance and convenience of the Tineco A11 Hero EX.

I own a competitor version that starts with a D.

What I like – suction, charges as expected, filter replacement, replaceable battery, tools.
What Could be improved – feels “cheap” I keep vacuum’s usually a decade. Time will tell. Battery has to be in unit to charge. On startup the unit starts with low suction and need to press button to increase to max.

I am happy with the unit.

We’ve had our A11 Hero for 4 months now, and it has performed very, very well. As a family of 6 with a large dog that lives on a gravel road, we need to vacuum…. every. single. day. And multiple times at that. The vacuum does quite a good job on our hardwood (1,500 SF of hardwood on our main floor) and a VERY good job on the rugs and carpet (another 1,000 SF). We have old Aramark door mats in our garage to collect a lot of that gravel road & driveway dust, and we even vacuum those with the Hero. Again, it does an excellent job.

I’ve discovered that the vacuum does it’s absolute best when you 1) empty the dust bin every day (which the instructions say to do) 2) weekly dis-assemble the dust bin attachment and metal filters to clean them with soap and water and 3) clean the fabric filters with their dedicated attachment and then with soap and water.

The hanging charging station is brilliant, too.

If I had it to do all over again, I would purchase this unit. We are very satisfied!

So far we are just loving this new vacuum. Our house is smaller, about 1000 sq ft, all wood floors or tile, we can easily vacuum the whole house in one charge and even change out the attachments to get into hard to reach places. This is, just, so easy to use. I’ve had cordless vacuums in the past but this is my first in a long time and it is just the best. I will say it is a slightly odd adjustment to realize you have to lock the power button on almost the same you do a gas pump, and it’s easy to knock the lock out of place which will immediately stop the vacuum. But it doesn’t really stop me. This is so light weight, attachments are super easy to change out. Emptying the canister is super simple and relatively mess-free. The one issue we have is vacuuming our ruggable rugs, we have to bring the suction all the way down and it can still try to pull the rug up. But, it’s really not that difficult. Also LOVE the lights on the front, I can see so much more dirt and dog hair (we have two, vacuuming must happen daily if not multiple times a day) to make sure I’m catching it all.

This is such a great vacuum! I got it as a gift from my parents, and I couldn’t be happier. They have the Dyson one and this one is BETTER!
This vacuum is very light weight, suction is excellent on hardwood floors and on carpets, the added light feature is great (I like to vacuum when it’s dark as you can really see all the dust), AND this vacuum is quieter than Dyson which for me is a must have. Overall I’m so happy with this vacuum, the color is wonderful, and the batteries are interchangeable (comes with two batteries), super easy to charge.
Highly recommend this vacuum to anyone!

Golden Review Award: 14 From Our UsersWe purchased this cordless vacuum July 2021 and use it at least once a day. This is a wonderful tool to have in our home. It cleans hardwood floors better than with a broom or dust mop. All the dirt, hair and other house hold debris is placed in the easy to empty container. We use power level 1 98% of the time for floor cleaning. The other power levels are needed occasionally with some of the optional attachments to get things out of harder to access areas. The battery has never run out so I would say it is more than adequate. If I notice low suction it is time to change the filter and I wash them clean about once a month to keep optimal performance. I did take it apart to clean everything once due to heavy use but it was easy since it is designed for easy disassembly. We use it on the heavy use areas of our carpets it does well but a full size vacuum is still better at cleaning the carpet. Bottom line I highly recommend the Timeco A11, it works great as long as you take care of it and follow the instructions in the users manual.

Never heard of the name before figured id give it a shot. Vacuum looks nice the suction is good as well. I’m just not a fan that it only last about 20 min on 2 fully charged batteries…. have tried it a few times figured maybe the first time I didn’t let them charge fully but now the batteries die fast sadly I will be returning this as for a few 100$ more were in Dyson range.

I bought this vacuum two years ago after much on-line research. It’s easy and fun to use and gets my floors really clean. It’s amazing how much dirt this vacuum pulls out of the carpet and that’s not even with using the Max mode. Mine came with two batteries but I have almost never needed the second one, the lithium battery on a full charge lasts at least half an hour. You can go from carpet to wood floor without changing the head and it does a great job on hard floors too. I wish I’d had this vacuum years ago, my house would have been a lot cleaner when my kids were growing up. Everyone in my family likes this vacuum and now that my daughter is out on her own, she’s buying one too. The only thing it does not do great on is sucking up cat litter from carpet, but that is not s show stopper. Another thing to know is that hair will collect on the roller bar, but is easily removed with the little hook tool they give you. I also love the wall-mounted docking station, it keeps it up and out of the way.

For a vaccum that isn’t advertised nor shown in your everyday life, it was the best vaccum I bought in the last year and a half. Now yes there are some weak links in the product but customer service is great and they make sure you are happy with your product! They assure that all the problems you have with the vaccum are resolved in anyway. The vaccum overall I can say is very exceptional product, works very well and comes with great attachments. What I love the most is the suction power it also has a x2 suction in it which is great ! Also it has 2 batteries that are external and can be swapped out if it does which is another bonus!

I recently purchased a Tineco A11 Hero because I didn’t want to spend several hundred dollars for a cordless vacuum cleaner. My usage of such devices is limited primarily to the kitchen for small jobs (with two small kids you need a third arm which constantly operates a vacuum cleaner) , and keeping our car clean. I noticed that this product had a ridiculously large number of very good reviews and it was very well priced.
The box arrived with all the components/accessories thoughtfully packed, and the various parts all connect or disconnect very nicely. For example, the dustbin and tube detach and attach to the main unit with little effort and a clean “click”. The unit also slips into the charging station very neatly. The motor’s low power mode provides enough suction power to remove most of the dirt I typically need to deal with and it is also impressively quiet.

If I had to make design suggestions for upgrading the existing A11 Hero, I would propose making: i) the tube, which interconnects the main unit and the full-size power brush, telescopic and, ii) the wheels on the power brush a little less squeaky when they roll on hardwood or tile floors.

I am the queen of using many vacuums. I have a hard time maneuvering through my long ranch house and going from carpet to hardwood, room to room, up and down 6 cat trees and in and around 5 cat beds. If takes me an hour or more to do the whole house and I’m exhausted afterwards. I have a commercial upright vacuum that does a good job but the cord isn’t long enough and the hose attachment is so awkward to use. I have a canister vacuum that does a good job but the hose keeps coming out and it’s difficult for me TL lug around a canister. I have a handheld vacuum for quick pickups but it doesn’t hold a lot. I bought this upright cordless vacuum and I’m in love. I do the whole house on one charge. It’s lightweight and I have no cord to deal with. It has great suction on the high setting. My only issue with it is I have to clean it after every use. The attachments work great but sometimes I like to use without an attachment to get along the walls. I have a cat who chews on cardboard boxes and sometime the pieces of cardboard don’t fit up the attachment. Well this vacuum doesn’t suck very well without an attachment which is odd. I can’t figure out why. I think because it has a notch for an attachment at the end of the tube that I can’t get close to the wall. I’m able to use the thin attachment most of the time for the walls but occasionally I have to pick up a piece here and there. Overall I think this vacuum is great.

but now I love it!!! When I received my Tineco A11 Hero vacuum, it was so lightweight I wasn’t sure it was going to do the job. I live with three large dogs, and we are always going on “adventures” to the woods, lakes, and streams, and consequently, our cabin becomes “the house of hair and dirt”. Over the years we have acquired and used numerous vacuums of all types, but I have always preferred the lighter-weight ones for cleaning. Our cabin is just under 1100 square feet and includes a set of 13 stairs where we come in from the outside, so every time I clean I have to clean those stairs and my corded vacuum does not completely reach the whole way. The floors are laminate, with many different sizes and thickness of rugs throughout. This Tineco Hero takes care of the whole cabin with power to spare! I use the lowest setting for the laminate floors, and only occasionally need to up the power for the thickest rugs.

My favorite things about this vacuum are the lightweight( it doesn’t scare the dogs while I’m cleaning), the LED headlights (I can really see all the dirt and hair), and the battery life (I can vacuum the whole cabin and still have power to burn). Of course, since it is a cordless stick-type vacuum I can go anywhere with it and get under all the beds and the couch easily.

Because it is so lightweight and easy to use (and quiet), I tend to vacuum nearly every day when I’m at the cabin, which cuts down on the need for those all-day cleaning sessions.

I haven’t owned this vacuum long enough to see how it is going to hold up in the long run, but for now I love it and highly recommend it. Tineco has its own website and communicates frequently through email, so I feel like if I need it, product support will be there.

My previous vacuum cleaner was a Dyson Animal 10. Really liked it. So easy to use and well built. It was. Prime Day 2018 deal. Then in Summer 2019 the battery died. Lasted not even a year. Then in Fall 2020 the new battery started dying. Ordered a new one. Email came saying it was shipped. Another email came saying it was being returned to Dyson. Turns out lithium batteries can no longer be shipped to Hawaii (note to Hawaii). After many frustrating emails Dyson finally refunded my money. Terrible customer service.
So for $280 less then the Dyson I bought the Tineco . Not as well built. Wheels squeak and the dirt bin is a little tricky to open. But I love the handle lock, the lights and the power is awesome. Things the Dyson would reject get sucked up on the first try. Just awesome.

So far I’m loving my new Tineco A11 Hero. It’s well constructed, powerful, pretty easy to empty, and more. My only issue is the storage unit/charger. I had a tough time finding a place to mount it with an outlet nearby. Pictured is just a temporary mounting place in my kitchen — and I think it looks awful. It’s just bulky and you have to mount it so high up that it makes it even more in your face. Plus, there’s no place to put the filter cleaner and the hair remover tool in the storage unit.

I would rather have a floor-standing storage rack with a place for the standard attachment so it doesn’t have to be attached to the unit. Now if I just want to use it as a handheld, I have to disconnect the one attachment and change to a different attachment. And I have to store the tool and filter cleaner in a drawer somewhere.

Anyway, I’ll figure out a better place to put it at some point but keep this in mind when considering this unit!

So far, so good but with one caveat...

When I first got this I thought of it as a glorified dust buster, but I’ve come to like it more than I originally thought. The Tineco is very thoughtfully designed. The construction seems very robust and parts fit together with spring latches. It’s relatively light weight and I’ve had no problem with battery life. It replaces a heavy Panasonic cannister which never actually broke, though replaceable filters are no longer available, but I’m getting older and lifting the old vacuum and dragging it around my apartment got to be a bit of a drag..

One of the features that I think is great are the LED on the roller-brush head. They light up dust that my old Panasonic canister’s LEDs never noticed. The user manuals are helpful, since not all of the features of the device are intuitive. I suggest looking at YouTube for some live instruction.

    Opportunities for improvement:
    1. The primary filter needs to be washed after every use. Tneco provides an elaborate attachment that allow me to use the vacuum to suck the dust out of the primary filer, but it’s more trouble than it’s worth. 2. The battery/attachment caddy. which doesn’t hold all of the attachments that come with the machine and will be a pain to attach to a wall. For now, I have it leaning against a corner of my bedroom wall. The old attachment caddy looks like it might have been more useful.
    3. The roller brush doesn’t pick up larger objects like bits of paper or plastic.

Very disappointed! Took two days to get a response from customer service via email after trying to call. First, out of the box it squeaked, the tiny wheels on the front of the main pickup sqeaked. Then we charged for two days and used it a total of 10 minutes and it had totally discharged. While it lasted it did suck fairly well.
    UPDATE 4/18/21
The squeak went away on it’s own and the actual timed testing of the unit was 12 minutes and 25 seconds which is completely normal when running it on the highest setting. While I was very disappointed in how long it took for the customer service to respond they eventually did and I bought a Shark competitor in the mean time I am returning due to the Tineco features of hanging on the wall and getting under the bed are far superior to the Shark. The db level is also quieter on the Tineco slightly. Charging the Shark you either have to take the battery out or take the tube off in order to keep from having it slide down the wall. I am asking Tineco how to buy an additional battery now. We will see how that goes

This lightweight vacuum is easy to use for any area, type of flooring or furniture. I couldn’t believe how much dust and dirt and other bigger things it picked up. Suction is great. It does need to be emptied pretty frequently but it’s easy to do so I don’t mind. I know I’ll be able to keep it working efficiently. The parts are also easy to clean. I have longish hair and in the bathroom I sometimes find it stops when hair gets caught. It’s easy to remove it and then keep going, and I like that this doesn’t happen frequently and when it does, it doesn’t get to be a huge amount before it stops so it’s an easy fix. In the past, I’ve had hours of work trying to undo thick ropes of hair and string from the vacuum so I could continue.

Some reviewers said it’s awkward to use because of the weight near the top – and it is different but this didn’t bother me. I find it’s still lightweight and easy to maneuver. It’s also quiet and doesn’t require as much work as a heavier vacuum. I find myself reaching for it more frequently to do a quick cleanup rather than thinking of vacuuming as a major cleaning task that requires me to get all hot and sweaty.

I have about 2,100 sf between three floors of bamboo, rugs, carpet, and vinyl and this goes seamlessly between floor types. Stairs are easy so I love that, too. I don’t run out of charge before I complete a routine cleaning. I suppose if I vacuumed all the furniture and floors at the same time, I might need to recharge, but I haven’t done that yet.

I short, I love this new vacuum and no longer find vacuuming to be my most hated chore.

Golden Review Award: 88 From Our UsersI posted the picture to show the herd i am fighting against in this house. Along with 3 kids I have more high traffic areas than not. I picked up an A11 at walmart for $100 just to use in between using my big corded vac and decided to give a bigger style a chance after realizing how convenient not having to lug and plug was. 5 stars is based on my experience with a smaller version of stick vac. No it doesn’t do as good as my corded vac but i feel like that is to be expected. However it does do a great job. It has a small canister for holding dirt and i have to empty it after a room or two but as annoying as that might be im impressed with the fact it is picking that much up. I live in ohio so salt is drug in on shoes and this has no issue picking it up. There are 3 settings and even the lowest picks up salt and takes it to the canister. I have no issue with it falling back out once i turn it off. Im not big on reviews but tonight as i was cleaning up for the night I saw a Lego on the floor and figured i would have to pick it up but nope this thing on medium power sucked it up (1 down 4million to go)
The battery power so far seems good. I have 3 large rooms and 4 medium rooms down stairs and make it through them all plus the stairs on one battery.
If you have a super fancy plug vac dont buy this and be surprised when it isn’t as good. That’s like comparing a gas powered leaf blower to battery powered they don’t sit in the same category so don’t compare them.

Impressed and satisfied but will update if that changes

First, I would like to say that I love this vacuum. This is the first cord-free vacuum we have owned and, for us, it is a game changer. The ability to move all around the house without getting a cord snagged on furniture, around a corner, or just not stretching far enough has made our vacuuming time much shorter and more convenient. The A11 is light weight, yet packs a powerful punch. There are three power settings. We primarily use the second power setting around our house. This pulls a lot out of our carpet and has no problems with small debris on our porcelain tile floor. On this setting, the vacuum is able to clean most of our 3 bed 2 bath home without recharging. The max mode is extremely strong and great for highly traveled carpeted areas that need the deepest clean. Something else we like is the wall mounted storage and charger. This piece of equipment does not take up much room and the vacuum is easy to remove and place into the mount. The only aspect that wasn’t perfect was the ability of the standard vacuum head to pick up larger items on our porcelain tile floor. Large pieces of cereal create a problem for the standard vacuum brush head. I contacted Tineco about this and they have a hard floor brush available for purchase or it comes standard on some models, just not the A11 Hero. For an honest review, Tineco was generous enough to send me the hard floor attachment. I am sure the addition of this attachment will allow us to successfully use the A11 for all our vacuum needs around the house. In review, we are very happy with our purchase and would do it again!

My wife, kids and I really like it. We had a Dyson before this and paid $700+ for it. This was a fraction of the cost and has some features we actually like better (ie having a head light and the way it maneuvers). We have only had it for about a month now but it is a recommended item in our eyes. If it doesn’t last, I will update the review.

I probably spent way too much time researching stick vacuums before purchasing this one, but there are many differences out there. I was really trying to avoid spending big bucks on the leading brand. I really like how this vacuum has 2 removable batteries, extending its run time. 1 battery would not be sufficient for a typical family house with multiple surfaces. I also really enjoy the wall mount, which beats most competitors and can also charge both batteries. I purchased the soft roller brush separately for our hard floors and light mats and it works excellent. In retrospect I should have just purchased the package that includes it originally. The main brush did a good enough job on hard floors, but the soft brush is quieter and more gentle on the flooring. It also doesn’t “snow plow” debris like the main brush tends to do. Suction power seems to be very good with 2 settings. The locking trigger is really handy and also rare to find out there. The entire unit is very easy and light to maneuver. The cleaning and maintainence process can be a bit cumbersome. I find I often need to use my fingers to help empty the dust bin. The removable filter needs to be cleaned after every major use or weekly, but luckily there’s a special filter cleaning attachment included that does this job effectively. The main gripe I have with this vacuum is, despite its impressive suction power, it does not suck up nearly as much dog hair as our previous corded vacuum. The main brush head definitely seems less robust with shorter bristles compared to our previous corded model, which I guess is to be expected when switching to cordless. It probably doesn’t agitate the dog hair enough to suck it all up. No matter how many passes I do on max setting, there’s still noticeable dog hair left on our large area rugs. If you have pet hair issues, you might want to consider other brands or models, but everything else I mentioned above is pretty hard to find elsewhere with regard to stick vacuums. In terms of overall value, considering cost comparison versus that other leading brand, I’m happy with this purchase. Just disappointed a bit with the pet hair performance. The wall mount, 2 batteries, and soft roller brush out weigh this pet hair issue though.

Light weight and easy to use, I like that you don’t have to keep holding the switch on button. I barely use my corded vacuum anymore. Suction is reasonable, If you use the high suction it’s better but the battery dies really quick. I’m not a fan of the roller brush it came with, and the vacuum feels like it’s made of plastic! I just wish the vacuum can extend a bit more because I have to bend my back while using ( I’m 5’5). But overall not bad for the price I got it for (was on sale).

I can’t believe how wonderful this vacuum is! I live in a small apartment with 3 to 4 area rugs and hardwood floors. Works so unbelievably for my small apartment. It’s light, easy to maneuver, has great suction on the medium setting. I never have to use it on the high setting, only to use the filter cleaning tool with is another wonderful attachment along with an extra battery which I never had to use but starting to use just to make sure it worked well and it does! I installed it on the wall myself( I’m a 65 year old woman…took two screws, but I’ve always been handy) If you are looking for a great cordless vacuum, this is it!!! No holds barred!!! I will upload a photo asap.

I did my whole main floor and can’t wait to vacuum again tomorrow. I only used the mid range suction & it worked perfectly. I don’t think I’d have to use the strongest setting often, if ever. Light weight, easy to manoeuvre around the furniture. Worked very well on my shag rug too!

Very impressed with how well designed this vacuum is. The quality is very nice. It works great. Much more powerful than the old plug in Kenmore vac it replaced. No cord is really a nice feature! Really nice on stairs.

Comfortable to use in full vacuum mode and you can remove the motor segment, pop on an attachment and swiftly suck up crumbs and other detritus. One problem: People in China designed and built it so it may be banned by goofy politicians.

The first bagless vacuum has been a very easy transition. Recently had a fall with my old corded vacuum and decided this was the safest way to go. No problem with the battery charger attached to wall but keep in mind an outlet should be handy. Great power, lightweight, and a breeze working on stairs. Very easy to change attachments when needed. Would recommend!

GENERAL: Be sure to consider what goal you want to achieve when vacuuming different styles of rugs. Compared to my Dyson DC50 (which is corded, heavy, and bulky), the TINECO A11 can get under and around EVERYTHING. One drawback is the brush head; it doesn’t dig as deep into the dense carpets I have, unlike my DC50. With a dog and two people, dander and dust and long dog hairs are most common in what I’m cleaning up. Compared to the heavy Dyson, it may only be #slightly# lesser at digging into my carpets. If I was a neat freak like my mom (she has 4 vacuums for a big house, all with their “strengths and weaknesses” according to what she wants to clean).

BATTERY: One battery lasts about 20 minutes to an hour based on how often I’m switching between the three modes. For me, that’s plenty for my 800SF. Only downside is the charge time; takes about 4 hours to get fully charged, but if I still need to vacuum, I’ll take the heavy corded vacuum out and finish with that.

ACCESSORIES: The attachments that come with the base A11 are fantastic, especially the small motorized brush. I use that on our couch when I need to get dog hair and stuff off the cushions.

DEVICE BEHAVIOR: One thing I noticed is the inverse relationship between the motorized brush heads and suction power. For example, Low Suction allows max brush head RPM, and High Suction steals power from the brush head, reducing it’s RPMs. For my home, the middle setting for suction gives me a happy balance of both. If I want it to dig deep into the aforementioned carpets, I’ll use the Low setting (high brush RPM), then switch to Medium setting to make sure it sucks the disturbed dander out.

I went with this vacuum instead of the expensive Dyson Cordless Vacuums. I’m extremely pleased with my investment, and would recommend anyone looking for a cordless non-Dyson to try out one of these.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersThe Shark Rocket pro was on sale, great price, worked great, but made me itchy and sneezy and wheezy.

Rocket pet pro was not really available for a good price.

This tineco A11 is light, the build quality is not as heavy as the rocket, so need to be more careful, particularly of the dustbin, the plastic is thinner and lighter, being light weight is great, i just think dropping it by accident will be really not good.

suction is great, on max its really strong, two batteries is great, tools and attachments are great, sturdy, i think they are polypropylene which is strong? the plastic of the main handheld unit i think is polycarbonate? replacement dustbins are not much, $30US on the site?

This A11 unit works well, easy to clean, great tool to clean the prefilter, comes with extra prefilter for cleaning first prefilter using a cool suction tool. so far it works really well, and i’m not sneezing or feeling itchy nose or mouth from using it. not wheezing.

Best is to dump the dustbin outside. and bring it back in to clean or wash if needed.

Having this vacuum is one of the few highlights of my 2020. It made vacuuming a fun activity in this never-ending quarantine life. First of all the vacuum is BEAUTIFUL. The light blue accents plus the crystal clear motor and dustbin, just beautiful. When my husband saw me first using it, he thought it was a toy that I bought. Very quiet, great suction power. Bought one for my parent’s house and for my one-bed apartment. Works great on the stairs and also perfect for my small apartment. Since I bought it I’ve been vacuuming at least a few times a day. Watching the floor become spotless is so satisfying and relaxing. Also love the on/off switch so I don’t have to keep pressing the button. Before I found out I could just flick a switch to keep it on, my hand got really sore after a few minutes. The built-in light is a plus since it makes the dust a lot easier to see. When I feel like a break from sitting, I vacuum.

A few things I thought could be improved:
    – An alternative docking system that doesn’t require nails in the wall. Didn’t want to punch holes on my rented place, so I tried my best with what I had.. with the vacuum resting on the wall and the charging station taped to the wall with damage-free tape. I have to take the battery out to charge, but that’s easy.
    – A more elegant system to empty the dust bin. It’s now a bit awkward to empty the bin as you have to first detach the tube and turn the motor head side way. The shape of filter also makes emptying hard as it traps some of the dust. Would be much better if it’s a straight cylinder in the bin.
    – The wheels on the floor brush squeaks.
    – I wish the brush head could be laid flat, to vacuum under the bed. Now I couldn’t reach very far under the bed because the brush would come up in the air.

    Highlight of my 2020

This product blows my mind. Honestly the most satisfied I’ve ever been with a purchase over 500 dollars. We have cats and carpets and it just does it. It’s scary silent and all the features serve a purpose. I initially thought the motorized head brush and the LED light was a gimmick but it’s so useful. This product is incredibly thoughtfully designed. Every attachment is useful and every feature sees use every week.

Golden Review Award: 10 From Our UsersI was so torn when looking at cordless vacuums online. Everyone raves about dysons and I actually use one once a week when I clean someone’s house. I saw the tineco online and saw the reviews and the comparisons and was so interested.
I can tell you without a shadow of a doubt that this vacuum is better then the dyson! It’s quieter, so quiet you think it must not be working very well lol.
We have two dogs and a long hair cat. There was always fur everywhere and bits or cat litter no matter how many times we swept in a day.
Having this cordless vacuum honestly changed all of that.
We have hardwood floors and area rugs and it works wonders. Great suction! For my smaller area rugs I keep the suction on low and it works great, for my larger more plush rugs I use it on the second setting and WOW it works amazing.
    10/10 would buy this again.

Disassembly for cleaning is easy which is a distinct advantage over normal vaccum including the method for cleaning the filter.
Having the trigger lock is a bonus especially for someone with arthritis on their hands.
Easy to move around with good swivel capability. Great for stair cleaning.
The only thing a little annoying is a slight squeal when using on the floors – haven’t yet been able to determine if it’s the wheels or roller.

I love the headlights on this stick vac. They were the reason I wanted this particular model as we live in a dark house (log) and unless the sun is shining through the windows, it is hard to see the dust. Actually I was shocked when I realized how much I had missed with my previous better-known stick vac. Now I can see what I am doing. The Tineco works very well, lasts a long time on one charge (haven’t had to use the second battery yet). The clean out is way better & easier than my previous vac. The setup was easy. It arrived well-packaged and in a timely manner. I am quite pleased. Do read the owner’s manual. Would I buy it again? Sure!

I’ve had my new vacuum for almost a month, and I absolutely love it! It’s so light, powerful, and easy to use, that now I find any excuse just to vacuum! My floors have never been so clean, and yet I’m still amazed at just how much dirt it manages to find! I bought during a flash sale, and think it’s great value for the money. This replaces my design animal. In comparison, the Tineco is more powerful, much quieter, lighter and more maneuverable. Best purchase ever!

I was given a Dyson Fluffy as a gift. Was confused when I was only able to clean for 20 min., until I read the manual which stated a run time of 20 mins. It was used about 30 times in 2 years, because of the limited run time. Last month the run time was down to 10mins. I tried to call Dyson with multiple issues I had with their product. I was only able to contact them via email, no representatives were available due to Covid. I asked why was the run time diminished, answer clean the filter. Did that. The battery was extremely hot after use. Answer, it’s okay let it cool down after use. Why won’t the vac run for more than 10mins, answer buy a new battery for $100.00. Did that. Now the vac only runs for 5 minutes why? Answer buy a new $1,000.00 Dyson. So I read revues of cordless stick vacs and decided on Tineco A11 Hero Cordless Lightweight Stick/Handheld Vacuum Cleaner. What a difference! I ordered from Amazon, and Tineco also contacted me to give me a tracking #. The Tineco vac is so quiet and so powerful. On the lowest setting, which runs for 40 minutes, it picks up dog hair and dirt so well from hard surfaces I am amazed. The only down side is the charging unit is wall mounted unlike the Dyson that had a plug directly into the vac. My solution, I use the worthless Dyson as a prop for the Tineco charging unit instead of attaching the charging unit to the wall. Win, Win!

Golden Review Award: 13 From Our UsersSo this is the product that seems to be the must have from Tik tok reviews and our just took a sh*t so now was a good time to jump on the trend.
    The pros:
    Suction power
Small vacuum head so it can get under furniture easily
    Easily rotates directions
    Lightweight
    Several attachment options
LED lights on the vacuum head
LOVED the hair cutter tool for the roller

Now what everyone really reads the reviews for:
    Cons
While the vacuum head is small and has its pros- that also means the roller is small. We have three girls I the home and in the time it took me to vacuum the upstairs (master, loft and two kids bedrooms) I stopped twice to cut the hair out of the roller. If you have anyone in the home with long hair you know this is an inevitable problem. But, with my old vacuum I’d do it at the end of the house job not needing to do it this often.

The top of the vacuum houses the battery and the dust bin. This makes it quite heavy for long jobs. I ended up switching hands frequently due to wrist fatigue.

The dust bin is very small. I needed to empty it twice during the upstairs cleaning and than once again at the end.

The battery didn’t last quite as long as I’d hoped. I guess I’ll have to invest in a second battery to get the whole house (2400 sq ft) done without needing to charge in betwee

I’ve been looking for a vacuum similar to a dyson because I just do not want to drop the money on one so after much research I landed on this one, and it didn’t disappoint! I’ve never had a dyson so I can’t compare but personally it’s been awesome.
We have a shark vacuum that was just way too heavy to be lugging around and it’s not cordless. The suction was also not that great in my opinion. But this guy has exceeded my expectations! It picks up everything. I have two dogs, one being a bulldog who sheds a lot a lot and they’re always bringing in dirt and small rocks. This vacuum picks it all up! Even when I mop afterwards it doesn’t get as dirty because the vacuum has picked up the dirt. Customer service is amazing too. The motor started shorting out within like 2 months and they sent me a replacement! Ever since I got the new one it’s been working with no issues. The charge on it is not that great, that would be my only con but my house is not that big and you can always order another battery if need be. To me it hasn’t been a deal breaker. Definitely recommend trying out this vacuum!

Man is this vacuum cleaner great. Light weight, lots of features, looks really good and it is of very quality material. Super quiet. This one has good suction and works great on carpet which was one of my biggest requirements. It is easy maintenance too. I am not a fan of paying a heavy price for brand names so no Dyson for me. Upon some research I found that this is en par with the Dyson V10 or 11. Really happy with this purchase. Highly recommended.

Update: I had an issue in registering my product (my mistake) but their support team were quick to help me out and even followed up to make sure it worked out. Also I really wanted to get the soft roller brush. Their support team were very prompt to respond to my request and although they don’t have it in their inventory in Canada they are still shipping one for me from somewhere else. Their customer service gets a 5 Star from me. Really happy overall.

We wouldnt buy this again. The reason we didnt return it was because amazon didnt take it back directly because of the batteries. Thank goodness there are two batteries cause this thing needs to be on high power to suck stuff up. Then when you’re done we need to slip up the broom so it doesnt fall out. Yes we clean the filter regulary, like practically every time. Its convenient, but you loose a lot on sucking power. If you’re use to an old fashin vaccum sucking power you’ll be disapointed. And I think they are all like this right now…

    UPDATE

It vacuums the house, car, and garage to my satisfaction. It is very light and easy to use. It comes with 2 batteries so by keeping both charged, you can use it for long periods of time.
Because it is so light, the container is small so you have to empty the collected dirt more often than other vacuums.
It also comes with other attachments, which expands its uses e.g. on the stairs, in narrow spaces. I am extremely pleased with it.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersAs an engineer I prefer German and American designs and products.

This is the first time I have purchased a Chinese product that I would highly recommend.

After researching a vacuum that would meet my needs, I came across the Tineco brand which has earned recommendations from Consumer Reports and Consumer Electronics Show (CES) for one of the best in class products.

I have used this product for over a month now and can see that it lives up to it’s reputation. This is not some cheap Dyson knock-off (I’ve owned 3 so far). In fact it has a small feature with big results – led lights on the vacuum head.

These leds highlight my German Shepherd’s loose hair on dark hard flooring easily. Something that I miss easily with my corded Dyson.

The Tineco has 3 vacuum power settings with the lowest setting as default. I have only used the highest setting for larger objects (pea gravel my dog tracks in) and on my area rugs. In this setting, it rivals my corded Dyson in cleaning.

The variable vacuum power settings extend the battery life and the charger provides quick charging (with visual indicators for charging status).

The Tineco comes with several attachments with some of them powered. The powered attachments are surprisingly articulated and maneuver well around and under objects. This dirt collection bin pops open easily for cleaning and the filter has a good chromed surface that sheds dirt with no problem. Filter pops out with a quick twist of the wrist to assist with dirt disposal- especially useful for the aforementioned long dog hair.

As it is extremely light weight, I can use it on stairs easily or for cleaning cobwebs from my vaulted ceiling using one hand. I find myself only using the Dyson once a week when cleaning the entire house as it has a larger dirt collection bin.

I would highly recommend this product.

I received this on May 26th so have it about a month. We have had a canister type vacuum for decades and I never liked it. Towing that canister around is a real pain. My wife loves it so I lived with it. I read about these cordless vacuums so I finally bit the bullet and after a lot of research decided on the Tineco A11. I did not expect it to have as much suction as it does and I really like how light and maneuverable it is. The LED lights are very powerful and are great to see everything that’s on the floor.
The only thing I was a bit disappointed about is that it came with only one battery. I thought this model came with two. I have a Cape style house that’s not too big but I can do the whole house on one battery so I guess it really doesn’t matter. Mostly hard wood floors with area rugs. I was happy to find that it has 3 speed settings, I thought there were only two. Medium speed is all I need most of the time though.
I used it to vacuum the cars and it really works great for that. I like the small power head in the cars, it really gets embedded dirt. Over all I’m very happy so far.

I decided to wait a month before I could write an accurate review… I could not be happier with this purchase! I was skeptical about a cordless vacuum actually being effective, but this product truly does the job. Our home is all hardwood or tile with some throw rugs and about 3000 sq ft. I am able to do the entire house on the low setting and the rugs on the “max” setting with the two batteries charged. We have two large dogs, one with long hair, and I find myself emptying the canister 4-5 times, the suction is that good! It’s not only hair but also dirt. I find myself vacuuming much more, 3-4 times a week, because it is so effortless to use, it’s not too loud or heavy, rather pleasant to use actually.
I was either sweeping, using the pet hair Swiffers or using our regular corded Oreck to do the job that I am able to do now with just the cordless vacuum. It does a much better job, it can get under most of my furniture, maneuvering in tight spots is easy and I can use a variety of the attachments to get anywhere else I need to. I will save a lot of money not buying the pet hair Swiffer as well as a lot of time and frustration now.
I definitely recommend getting the extra battery and constantly rotate them. READ ALL of the directions! This will save your frustration if you find the vacuum is not working as well as it did at first.
You have to clean the filter every time you empty it, take any hair that has wound itself around off and always use the filter cleaner to get remaining dirt out of your filters. If you follow all of the directions you won’t have any problems!
Cost wise, when reading others compare it to the Dyson or saying it’s is better, I don’t know I have never owned a Dyson, it’s defiantly a great bargain if you consider that.

So far really pleased with this stick vacuum. Bought it because I wanted a lighter vacuum with no heavy hose dragging behind it. This machine meets all my expectations. I was surprised at how it seems to pulverize the dust into a powder like substance. I need to clean it after every use, but don’t mind the task now that I’m used to it. Having the two filters and two batteries is wonderful. Because I have all hardwood with just scatter rugs, find I only need the one power head.

Had a concern about one of the batteries, but contacted a Tineco Representative who responded quickly and with an adequate response. In today’s market I am always concerned about the quality of a product (longevity), but with the two year warranty and quick response from Tineco feel reassured.

I am telling my friends about the Tineco stick vacuum!

Works awesome on hardwood, tile and carpet. Batter lasts a long time and having the spare you can easily clean a 3000-4000 sq’ home using the two batteries. My home is 3600 sq’ and between the two batteries I always get it done with battery to spare (even while using the MAX power suction on certain areas. Attachments are great and the suction is reliable (just make sure to keep your filter clean). I would highly recommend. It’s the only vacuum I use now for the entire house. Don’t even bother with the built in anymore.

I just recently ordered an A11 Hero. I love it! It’s so quiet and easy to use. I love that my kids are also excited to use it and wanting to help now that we have a vacuum that’s so light and easy for them to use. I decided to order the hard floor brush as well, as I have 3 young kids and lots of hard floors. I’m really excited to receive this brush as I have some friends who have it and love it. The customer service has been amazing to work with. They really go out of their way to make sure they customers are happy.

I like the fact is cordless and light. I like the fact it has a cradle mount to the wall and is fully charged at all times with an extra battery. I like the fact it’s light and versatile. Unfortunately it is only good for small jobs not deep cleanings. Clearly the storage compartment is not intended for deep cleaning as a pertains to carpet. The powerhead isn’t very good for deep cleaning carpets Particularly pet hair. However the vacuum is very versatile and has enough suction and pet hair pick up for hardwood floors.

Great so far but only used it a few times. You cannot just lean it against a wall if you need to move anything (it is top heavy) it has to be lying on the floor, in your hands or on it’s wall stand.

The best vacuum I’ve ever bought. Light weight good suction and two batteries and filters a bonus. Works great on carpet and hard floor. I thought the powerhead light would be useless but actually works great to point out dust and dog hair in darker areas.

The vacuum itself is perfect, sleek, suction power better than expected, not loud, hepa filter on point, many accessories. All in all a perfect vacuum and a real competitor to the Dyson V7 and Shark Ion P50 both in performance and price.

    Cons:
If you want to order an extra accessory to the A11 not included in the vacuum like the Soft Roller then it will cost way too much. the original price is 80$USD and if you order it in Canada, it will cost 160$CAD. (that is way over priced) and it makes no sense because the price cannot be explained. if you make the rate exchange it will be around 110$CAD and a 50$CAD delivery charge which is ridiculous.

I love this vacuum. After hauling around a Vacuflo for years, this is a joy. Works incredibly well and is brilliantly designed. The Tineco support folks have been great. They contacted me as soon as the order was placed to let me know they were there if needed. They even helped me get a price reduction when the coupon code I had received didn’t get applied at checkout.

I bought the base model of this vacuum for daily use in my store. After trying to be cheap with another brand and being sorely disappointed, I didn’t want to fork out the money for a new dyson and settlled on this Tineco.
Vacuuming is a breeze now. My store is all carpet and quite large. We used to have to use three or four different outlets to reach every corner with our heavy upright. Takes a lot less time and a lot less effort now. the Tineco is lightweight and easily maneuvered . The bright lights are great for seeing bits and pieces on the floor. I *love* that it came with a second battery, but I can vacuum almost the whole store and backroom on one battery. The wall mount was easy to install with a drill. There are quite a few attachments, but my favorite is filter cleaner. Two filters are included with the vacuum, and while using one, you can attach the filter cleaner, put in the dirty filter, and suck all the dirt off it.
I wanted a cordless vac for the store after getting a v10 Dyson for my home. I actually kind of prefer the Tineco. The suction is very comparable, but I like that I can toggle the “on” trigger and don’t have to continually press it. Emptying the canister is also preferable to the v10 Dyson as you don’t have to remove whatever attachment you’re using to empty it.
If you’re wondering if you should go with a Dyson or a Tineco, both are great. There are subtle differences, but if you don’t want the big name, buy the Tineco! It’s a much better value, but we’ll see how both age as they are both used daily.

LOVE this little machine. It’s versatile and light-weight, I use it everywhere, on everything. The extra battery/charging port is so incredibly handy – although one battery goes a long way on MAX power. I bought this to combat my boyfriend’s cat’s hair shedding problem and I could not be happier!

I had higher expectations in terms of “look and feel”. The plastics are cheap and quite flexible compared to a similar Dyson I have. I hope they hold up in the long run. It works well and has plenty of power and long running time. With 2 batteries in regular mode, you can vacuum for nearly one hour which is plenty even for a large house. It is quiet too. The filter needs cleaning after every use due to the way the whole unit is designed (by comparison, my Dyson only needs filter cleaning every 6 months or so with similar use, but they are very different designs at very different price points). For what it is, I like it and in 6+ months of use it hasn’t given me any troubles.

I didn’t expect it to be so good, it’s really good. Everything you’ll need is included.

My only complaint is the battery charger: Having a spare battery is great on these cordless vacuum. This is a big plus compared to Dyson. But I wish would could charge the spare battery somewhere on the floor in a corner or behind a furniture. No… you absolutely need hang the charger vertically on a wall for the charge to work well. So if you don’t have a big closet available (with an electric plug), it “might” ____ you off.

Golden Review Award: 54 From Our UsersI was looking for a vacuum cleaner to replace our Dyson handheld vacuum. I looked at the price of another Dyson handheld to replace our five year old handheld, and I couldn’t help but think that there could be something else on the market that did just as good if not better at even a better price. So I did my research and based on the reviews I chose this vacuum cleaner. I thought, “well if it’s not as good as they think I will return it”. I was cautiously optimistic.

The day I received the vacuum, I thought I’d give it a go. I try not to get my hopes up as usually the reviews are more optimistic about a product than the product itself. From the moment I first used the vacuum, I fell in love with It. It is so thoughtfully designed, so light, so powerful, so versatile, and the battery lasts the entire time I vacuum the house.

I’m so happy that I purchased this product. Having spoken to my husband, I think we are going to even sell our big Dyson vacuum cleaner as we will no longer need it in the house. I’ve had that Dyson vacuum cleaner for quite some time and have not had the opportunity to appreciate a cordless vacuum. But now that I have a cordless vacuum, that performs just as good as the Dyson, I will never buy anything but a cordless vacuum. Hopefully this will last me a long time. If it does, I’m definitely going to be a repeat customer of this brand.

You won’t be disappointed. Pull the plug and give this vacuum a try. You have the option but I am confident that you won’t be returning it.

I have a Dyson handheld vacuum that runs out of battery power before I complete my downstairs. I love my Dyson it is very powerful, I use it daily.

There are some special additions that Tineco has that I enjoy.

    Pros:
-Headlight, I can see all the dust and dog hair that I need to vacuum.
-Lays a little flatter than the Dyson. I can get under my entire sofa, bed and bookshelf.
-2 batteries, I can vacuum my entire house without running out of charge.
-Able to clean all the filters easily. They twist and pull right out so that you can really dump everything out. You can do this every time you vacuum if you like.
    -Quiet
-Perfect for wood and tile. It also does a decent job on small rugs.
-Attachments fit nicely on the battery charger that can be mounted on the wall.
-Comes with more attachments than Dyson

    Cons
-Tineco’s quiet make me think it isn’t as powerful as the Dyson. It doesn’t suck as much out of my carpet as the Dyson does
-Doesn’t fluff the carpet like Dyson

I think this is the perfect vacuum for hard surfaces. You can easily pick up dog/human hair, dust, retainer rubber bands, etc. The light is one of my favorite features that really helps get my house clean. I can see any little spot I missed and know it is hair and dust free with one pass. If you have carpet I would get a Dyson instead. You may have to wait for it to charge again to complete your home, and there is no light but it will do a great job.

Love this vacuum. I did tons of research and looked at so many stick models before deciding to take a chance on this. First in all fairness I have only used the Dyson version of this a few times at my sisters house. So I am not comparing the two. What I love: the vacuum arrived in 2 days, was beautifully packaged, and was super easy to put together. The wall mount dock is very convenient and when you dock the vacuum it’s not going to fall off. The duel batteries are amazing and being able to charge them both at the same time is a nice touch. That being said, I have not had to switch batteries yet because every time I go to use the vacuum it’s fully charged and I can go through the whole house without killing the battery. The attachment are easy to change and work great. I have all
Hardwood floors and I was nervous I would have to buy the other soft head floor attachment right away based on other reviews. Not true. The multitask head works amazing on hard floors. It picks up hair, crumbs, and seems to leave my floors cleaner than my canister vac. Also it works amazing on low setting. I only put it on high when doing base boards etc. This vac is lightweight and I love that you can lock the on switch while using this. If you pivot the head to the side while going under furniture it lays completely flat and I can get all the way under my very low profile sofa. I have had this about a week now and I am overly impressed with its performance. For reference I have a 1400 square foot house. Much larger homes you may need to empty the bin mid way. Worth it I think for the value you get. The last thing is the filter and led lights that are awesome when going under beds and furniture. Lights up everything so you can get every last dust bunny. This vac has an amazing filter system and I love having the ability to clean the filter after each use. No particles escape this device. Please note: no vacuum will perform well if you do not clean the filter. This device comes with 2. Since I have only had it a week I will update this post in a few months to advise how the batteries hold up etc. happy shopping!

I have never had a cordless vac before, so I had nothing to compare it to. I read all the fantastic reviews here and watched tons of demos, reviews, and side by side product comparisons on YouTube when it stood up well to a Dyson. Well, out of the box, mine was underwhelming to say the least. I love how it felt, the battery time, the variety of attachments, etc, but it just didn’t seem to have much power at all. I had to go behind with my corded vac if I wanted more than just a quick surface clean up. I found myself not using it very much as a consequence and wondered what all the hype was about – maybe all cordless vacs are like this. Fast forward to a few days ago when I was at a family member’s house who just bought a new Dyson Animal V11. It was amazing. I couldn’t believe the difference in power between it and my Tineco – which got me wondering if my Tineco was just a dud since so many people say they are comparable. I called Tineco customer service and they worked with me to diagnose my likely issue, which they believe to be a faulty motor. They are sending me a replacement, which I have high hopes I will absolutely love. They were super easy to work with. I will update this review once I receive the replacement. #TinEcoBack

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI wanted to wait to write this, because I’ve had such poor luck with vacuum cleaners. I’m very glad I purchased this. The house is small, but with two cats and a dog, I like to clean the floors daily. It handles fur and litter easily, as long as you remember to empty it frequently.

So far, I’ve had no issues with battery life, or any decrease in suction. I wish I had purchased extra pre-filters at the same time. They’re easy to wash, which is great, but they take a while to dry. It sounds strange, but the extra bit of light helps, and it’s great to just be able to take the handheld part out to do the car.

    _______________

Updated almost 2 years later: A part of of the vacuum cleaner broke, and I emailed the company. They responded quickly, and sent a replacement once they had my order number. It’s not the same colour, but it coordinates, so that doesn’t bother me at all. I still like the product, and the customer service made things very easy when there was an issue.

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersI am never going back to corded vacuums after using this amazing piece of hardware. Also provides a much superior suction/cleaning as compared to my old Dirt Devil vacuum and the LED is a nice touch that should be a standard option in all new and upcoming vacuum. Golden Review Award: 488 From Our UsersJust unpacked used the product today for the first time. It was packed pretty well, everything had it’s own snug little compartment to keep it all secured in the box. The power brush is smaller than I was expecting. When I got it all together I was skeptical that I got my money’s worth, it seemed more like a toy. But as I started using it it’s definitely not a toy!

I had to empty it 3x just from vacuuming the stairs (17 steps). My large 22×26 room I emptied 5x. I’m impressed with it’s handling of dog fur (Husky) as well as how much small dirt/dust particles it picked up. Sucker’s got some power! As advertised, it is pretty quiet. Quietest vacuum I’ve ever used. I was worried about the collection bin being too small with having a long hair dog, but with that power comes compression inside the bin so it’s able to pack quite a lot into that small space.

Almost $300 bucks is no small amount, especially for a vacuum. I was very leery & hesitant to pull the trigger on this one, it being a brand I’ve never heard of before. Tineco can thank Consumer Reports for earning my business, as it was recommended by them over Dyson due to Dyson’s decline in quality & reliability apparently. I’m only giving it 4 stars because it doesn’t feel the most sturdy in my hands, not like a typical upright. This is my first stick so I’m probably just not used to the lighter design & style. It does feel well built, just not solid. Then again they are all removable attachments & parts so that’s probably par for the course for a stick vac.

For now I feel it was a good buy. I say “for now” because I haven’t even had it a whole day yet. I will follow-up as I put some more laps on it & get a better idea of it’s overall quality & versatility.

    **** Update ****
Holy crap does this thing pick up a LOT more dirt than any of my previous vacuums! My previous vacuum (Dirt Devil upright) could do the whole house & at most I’d have to empty it once. No joke, I have filled a 13gal tall kitchen can/bag!! Mind you most of it was dog fur, but still WAY more than the upright ever picked up. The bottom of the bag was all gritty sandy dirt, about 6″ deep worth! I’ve NEVER had a vacuum pick up so much, let alone how effortlessly it does so. I live in a 3K square ft house, alone with just my dog. I bought it brand new 4yrs ago, no kids have ever been over, I never wear shoes in the house. I have absolutely no idea where all that dirt came from, let alone that my previous vacuum left that much behind! I’m absolutely amazed by this things performance! Will update on quality after more use, I’ve only had it since yesterday.

    **** Update ****
Still very happy with this vacuum. Played with a friend’s Dyson & I can say my first impression about it feeling toy-ish & un-sturdy is related to the style (cordless stick) & not a reflection of the Tineco A11 vacuum so I am adding the fifth star I withheld because of my first impression.

Also.. some reviews are complaining the bend at the base of the power head preventing it from going flat to vacuum under furniture & this is not true. All you have to do is turn the vacuum a quarter turn so the power head is on an angle & it drops completely flat. (Photo & video attached.)

    **** Update ****
So I feel the need to counter the reviews here that complain about loss of suction after only a few uses. CHECK THE FILTER!! As I mentioned about how much this thing picked up that my Dirt Devil left behind, & how much of that was fine gritty dirt, well.. it caked the cleanable filter REALLY quickly! The tool they include to clean the main filter is included for a reason. I’ve had to clean the filter about a dozen times in 4 months. With a freshly cleaned filter I just ran over a penny & the vacuum sucked it right up, & that was in normal mode NOT on max.

The filter is stupid-simple to clean. It literally just slides in & out from the middle of the collection bin. I’ve started the habit of pulling & knocking it on the side of the garbage can whenever I empty the bin. It literally only takes 2-3 seconds to do.. I only use the cleaning tool about every 10 days to get the extra fine dirt off if it. (And yes, they do include a 2nd filter to swap into the vacuum before using the cleaning tool, you’re not running the cleaning tool filterless.). The engineers really did go the extra mile to make this very user-friendly, an excellent performer, & easy to keep in optimal condition to maintain that performance.

4 months in & I still highly recommend this vacuum!

    **** August 22, 2020 ****
Still going strong! I now knock off the fine dust particles from the filter every time I empty the collection bin. I literally vacuum 1x-2x daily so I’ve used this thing at minimum 200x & suction power has not declined.

Versatile, powerful, ergonomical, & quiet are my initial impressions.

This is the best vacuum I’ve ever owned. It’s lightweight and easy to pull out for a quick pick up. We mounted the bracket near an outlet in a storage closet. The wall set has a spot for everything, including a handy bag that we used to hang the instructions and spare parts altogether. We have mostly wood floors, tile and and rugs. It picks up well on all. We’ve also used it for picking up dust in the back of cabinets, car interior, and furniture. I love that it has a headlight. Really helps working around dark spots or shadows. It has a nice low profile and slides under way more than my old upright. It’s not very noisy and you might not think it’s doing much, but it is. One battery charge lasts me about 45 minutes, and it comes with 2 batteries that both charge together on the wall mount. I’ve never had it run out of power too soon. It’s easy to clean – I do have to reach in a bit to get clumps of dust to drop out sometimes when I empty the bin. But it comes with a nifty tool for that. And I have too snip hair sometimes from the roller piece, but the tool does that too. And I love that it has its own cleaner attachment for the air filter. It’s quick and works well. I try to keep it clean each time I use it because I figure it works harder if it’s not getting good air, and I’d rather spare the extra battery life for the job. And I’ll be honest, it’s pretty. And if you have to vacuum, it really helps to have one you like to see and use. My daughters are even motivated by it. Wish I could give it 6 stars.

Front LED light reflects off the hair. Quick connect disconnect connection, no problems , when you remove the hair off the spinner part = no problem, I even give it all a wash after , over all this is a great machine. Battery is still too new to tell but second battery was bought and I never need to use it. A battery seems to last me a good 40 mins and I have lots left over …: buy it . You’ll be happy you did. Oh and the lil on trigger has a lock and makes the job much easier and less tiring on the hand. Cheers.

I got the A11 Hero during sale. I did so much research and I’m not going to repeat what others have mentioned but I love this. This has made vacuuming so much easier and ENJOYABLE! I actually enjoy vacuuming now. I wanted to get a cordless after seeing my friend using her Dyson. I’m glad I went with this. It’s so easy to use, very intuitive, and not too heavy for me (I have very weak muscles). The suction power cannot be compared to my Miele corded vacuum but it’s not too bad! I may need to go over the same area again, or slower, to pick up things but for most day to day cleaning, it is more than enough. The roller brush is perfect for hardwood floors (this was one of the major reasons why I wanted to get this). And it is friggin pretty as well. I do not think it gets a 10 for Manoeuverability, but I’d give it a 8. It’s almost as expensive as my Miele but I can’t be bothered to use my Miele now, unless I’m vacuuming carpets. Just get this, you will not regret it.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersThis is a great cheap alternative to a Dyson branded unit, but do not set your expectations too high. The suction power is really sufficient when you hit the MAX button, and from then on, expect the battery to last only about 12 – 13 minutes. Also, about 4 to 5 minutes in, you should expect to see a slow drop in suction power. It seems that the battery begins to get warm, and the power stars to degrade.

Having said all that, getting 2 batteries and all the attachments plus the cleaning tool is a great benefit. This works great for my 400 square foot bedroom and 80 square foot bathroom. Great for the dust, carpet, etc. Don’t have to struggle with the central vac or a mobile canister type.

    Good Enough for Non Dyson!

UPDATE: So my initial review wasn’t GREAT, the suction just didn’t feel there. In my frustration I went through the manual and took it apart and cleaned EVERYTHING. Let everything that I had to wash sit out to dry for 24 hours then reassembled. Suction was MUCH better after this! It still feels slightly lacking unless you have the max mode on but it was enough to get the job done for the most part. I still love a lot of other features with the vacuum though so I’ve decided to keep it. I’ll just take it apart monthly or so to clean the filters I guess? We have dogs and horses so our mud room gets pretty dirty so that must be what clogged it up. Company reached out to me after reading my initial review, I felt that was fabulous customer service. So A+ for that!

I was in the market for a new cordless vacuum, checked out a ton and this one hate great reviews, came with an extra battery, has a lock mode for the switch so you don’t have to hold it down the entire time…and the price was perfect!

Boy was I underwhelmed when I used it though. It barely has any suction on regular mode. On MAX mode it does pretty well but then you’re cleaning time is cut so short! Sure you have the second battery but unless you’re RACING through the house to get it all done before both batteries die then you’ll be cleaning more becuase you have to keep recharging.

Dreading repacking it to return it. It comes very nicely packed, doubt I’ll get it done as well.

Over all I like the vacuum but what I don’t like is emptying it . You have to pull the filter container out each time to ensure it empties completely and the container is rather small. I use it on my house and some of the homes I clean but the battery life isnt long enough to do all the homes I clean . Even with 2 batteries I wish they lasted longer .

Cordless vacuums still aren’t up to par with normal vacs, but the portability more than makes up for it.

The max mode does a very good job of coming close to a normal vac, but it drains the battery fast. Cleaning the filter is easy. Overall better than Dyson if only for the extra battery, and price.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersWe have been using a Dyson canister machine for several years, and it has always picked up our messes. The problem always was the plugging in and out and having mostly wood floors, it always left dirt that would cause a problem when using the spray wax/cleaner. We thought about getting their V11 but started to do some investigations and stumbled on the Tineco V11; read some reviews; at less than half price with the interesting LED lights and two batteries, we decided to give it a try.
First thoughts, it felt more flimsy and was so quiet. Would it work? You bet it did!!! That light lets you see where the dirt is hiding and allows you to pick it up. So now the wax/cleaner does not pick up the dirt on the applicator. The initial idea was to use the Tineco on hardwood floors only until I used it on the basement stair carpet and was amazed at what a wonderful job it did there (and so easy) that I tried it on all our area carpets and really noticed the difference. Believe me, I was so happy that I showed it to my brother while he was visiting and he had his own Tineco within a week. Will it last? Hopefully.

Golden Review Award: 25 From Our UsersEverything arrived in perfect condition. A couple of screws (included) fastened the docking station to the wall and after about 4 hours both batteries were fully charged. Then I tried it.

Worked well as a handheld. Not too heavy and it really grabbed the dust-bunnies from a distance. I didn’t try the “Max” mode then, that I held back for the carpet test.

A low-pile entrance runner with a few days of foot-wiping so I went with the motor-head attachment. Pretty good I thought. Then I hit the “Max” button and was unable to continue.

This thing all but sucked the carpet into itself. I had to stand on the carpet to keep the suction from moving the carpet around. Now I was really impressed! I also own an older (> 10-years) corded Dyson and it never had this much suction. I had read the great reviews of Tineco vacuums on a few review sites but was still skeptical that something in this price range could perform like the twice-the-price Dysons.

    It does. And more.
