Great Saw All Round
This is a fantastic saw for the price, we’ve used it to cut up old wood for the fire this winter and its worked an absolute treat. We bought it from a recommendation from my father and I’d happily recommend it to others.

The saw is a long way from being a professional tool I bought it when it was on offer for about 60+ I think it will be ok as a DIY occasional use but don’t expect it to preform like a 200 saw

Brilliant piece of ki
Just right for the casual DIY person. Not heavy but quite powerful. I used it to cut 6×6 fence panel to custom sizes to fit in the garden. The lightness comes from much thinner materials used in construction so wouldnt really recommend for site workers but for occasional use, top value. Recharges quickly and it all stores away in a zipper bag.

Industrial strength for everyday use – probably not / but great addition to my toolkit for infrequent jobs and small projects

My old saw packed up so I had a look round and went for this. It is well put together and comes with a kit bag. I used it several times for DIY around the house – mainly decking wood which is quite dense and hard to cut with a hand saw. This made short work of everything.
Sadly the charging unit packed up and when I contacted the firm they had none in stock and could not supply one. Seems like they are all prepacked and have no spares. They were apologetic and asked me to leave it with them. A couple of days later I was told I would have a complete replacement – by that they meant the whole kit! A few days after that a brand new saw arrived and is working well. I did not even have to return the old saw.

I have not used a circular saw previously and was a tad nervous what to expect.
This tool is brilliant. It saws through wood like a knife through butter.
It is very powerful with a good battery life as well.
As I have said, it is my first saw of this type but I definitely recommend it.

its not got all the luxury rubber mouldings, but ive used it for building a large shed. cutting 9mm and 18mm OSB board. the battery lasts a ridiculous amount of time and cuts through with no problem.
if your a tradesman id probably go for a different brand but for home diy cant go wrong!

Great tool but price has shot up??
Didn’t want to break the bank with a cordless circular saw so found this one with a 3Ah battery.
It comes with all the bits needed and does the job up to around 18mm then starts to struggle I have found.
However, I purchased this saw sometime in April (2 months ago) for 99…. At the time of writing this it is now 142.99… how has this product gone up over 40 in 2 months, That’s around a 42% price increase. I don’t believe It was on special offer when I bought it either. I was going to advise a mate to get it but won’t be now. 5 start tool (for 99) but 4-star review because of the price hike…

This is amazing value for money, I have only used corded ones before, but this makes the job so much easier, even my wife used it. I used to be a window fitter but I am now just a mature diy enthusiast, so not sure how heavy duty it is. My wife pointed out, it can be used right handed or left handed. Highly recommended.

Set up is the most important aspect, if that's done correctly, the saw will do its job right.
Prompt delivery contents exactly as described. I’m a handyman, so only occasional use, but the saw performs to a good standard.
Not bad for the price
Not bad for the price , it doesn’t cut square when cutting through 75mm timber but that might be because it needs a new blade although it did come with a new blade , if you square the cut around the timber flip the timber over and cut again it’s ok , it’s light , easy to use and quick if you don’t want to spend time getting leads out for your corded skill saw

Lovely little saw. Only a few cuts so far but I’m very pleased, it’s light weight, easy to use and gives a nice straight cut.

Cuts really well
Seen a builder with a similar and more expensive saw. Bought this as it had good reviews and is fraction of the price of other brands. Used quite a bit and I’m very impressed. Cuts really well. Light but robust. Battery charges quickly.
Used it straight out of the box and cut 2 sheets 8 x 4 x 25mm lengthways and it didn’t miss a beat, surprised me, it is lightweight and the blade is good quality, did not rip the edges of the boards, a nice clean cut through out, Have now hot a Nut Runner, Large Drill bit set and this Circular saw all from VonHaus and will buy more tools from them as I need. Any problems I have had have been resolved very quickly with one email, a good company to deal with.

Absolutely superb. Only used for DIY, floorboards and chipboard but never complained once. Battery lasted a good six hours, not constant use

Comes in a bag along with attachments etc. Good quality tool and works very well. I’ve bought other VonHaus products and have always been really satisfied.
I cut All the deck planks with the vonHaus cordless circular saw, it even cut one plank from one end to the other. 4 yards long and 1 inch thick , how good is that.

As a kitchen fitter this holds its own against the more expensive dewalt types cuts 38mm worktops leaves good clean edge
I’ve been after a cordless saw for a long time. Always eyeing up bare units that cost more than this little beauty I saw at a price which included battery. I’ve used it to chop up various types of wood that are being used to build my shed.
Went through 9-18mm ply alright. Any thinner then the plastic blade guard seems to get in the way. Different sized framing timber 2×2, 2×4 seemed to cut no problem. Planks for flooring – no problem. Used scaffold boards got cut too. As occasional usage goes, I can’t complain at all. The blade brake stopped it quick by time i cut and laid it down on floor. Battery seemed to last a fair amount. Nothing to compare it too but seemed alright to me.
In short. For the price I paid, it was worth it.
It is light to handle the battery seems to last a very long time I am very pleased with my purchase
