Good sharp bits
Good at the price and all seem to be of quality, but will the last …. Time will tell, but for now fair priced as there are a lot of bits with a good variety in size from 10mm up to 50mm so should cover a variety of hobby/diy needs.
Down side is the box would make a huge presentation difference if it was sanded and a finish of some sorts on it .
But honestly that’s only down side. x
No depth stoppe
A good set and value for money , my son bought me a set , it did say a depth stopper was part of the set but that was missing
These hole cutters are excellent value for money
They cut a clean accurate hole and are very sharp, and they stay sharp even when cutting a deep hole through a two-inch-thick guitar body. A sturdy well made and robust hole cutting auger bit.

I’d wanted to buy some Forstner bits for a while: but there was always the problem of what to get – spend a lot of money on one or two high-end ones but what sizes would I need? Or spend an even greater amount for a set that I couldn’t justify for occasional use. All the sets I’d seen so far looked to be very cheaply manufactured. Then these caught my eye – forged from a single piece and at a reasonable cost for a set of all the sizes that I would probably ever need.
I am very pleased with the quality of these. My only gripe would be poor quality control after manufacture – some have burrs around the outside of the cutting ring but I have just dressed these out with a bit of wet and dry and they are now perfect. A couple have small nicks in the cutting blade – I think they must have been ground and then thrown in a bin with other bits – this just causes a slight groove in the bottom of a blind hole so not a big issue. I would recommend these (if you don’t mind spending a few minutes fettling) as they are a great set for the money.

All the bits I have used so far were nice and sharp.
They also didn’t bind in deeper holes
