It was really well packed. Very versatile in terms of how one would like to hang it. Also used it to protect my plants from direct heat. Very useful. Now will fold and store away for the winter.

The cover is very durable and makes a great cover for the grandkids to go into the pool. The guide rope is very strong. Recommend this cover to anyone who have young children outside in the garden.

Does the job well although haven’t got the fixings yet which would make it easier to install. Haven’t had a chance to try out the waterproofing cos if the dry weather. Overall a decent product .

It's ok for light use.
The sail is waterproof and the price is very good. It arrived in perfect condition & quickly. However, the material is very thin and I’d recommend not buying this one if a cat is likely to walk on it! It’s very plasticky and stretches out of shape – not like my previous sail which lasted 4 years, was thicker reinforced material and didn’t pierce or tear when my cat got on it to use like a hammock! It’s fine if no cats are lurking!

I bought for my garden, it’s waterproof and easy to install. Its very convenient to use when kids want to play outside or just work outside in sunny. I had them over a year and it’s very sturdy in the wind but I take them down if strong winds are forecast.

Product seems good quality although I haven’t been able to put it up yet as you have to go back to them to order fixings separately. Overall looks good though, nice colour, thick fabric. Can’t comment on installation ease as waiting on parts. On contacting customer services though, they are quick to respond.
Allow for provided ropes to stretch
Been up nearly 2 days and so far so good .. stayed up through a storm but will hold rain water I have made a lower anchor point on one corner so it can drain its self and be raised for the sunny weather … so far so good but when installing with the ropes provided please bare in mind that they will stretch a little within first 24 hours or so in slight wind so you will need to re tension them accordingly..

Does exactly as described
Just as described. Not that it would matter to most people, but the colour is quite yellow. I wanted it to match my other items in “sand” shade, which which are not as bright.
The important part is it does the job.
Husband put this up in 10 minutes on his own. I could have done with a little bigger but the next size was too big. Material seems fine. I actually like sitting under it. Didn’t get this for sun but for the rain. So dog can sit under it also in bad weather while I accept it won’t tolerate high winds and heavy rain. Nice cost area in garden. I was looking at Gazebos, small event cover etc. But went with this. As reviewers say we made sure the seems went the correct way round and have tightened the string. I am a bit picky with things in my new garden and I’m happy with this and the way it looks, chose grey and it goes with my garden.
Update: light rain. Attached video. Rain proof but water gathered in the middle so I prodded the middle to drain it off. I put my washing line stand in the middle to prop it up and it has worked. Just going to buy a canvas cover for the line to make it look more attractive but done the trick! Happy dog sitting underneath. Doubt this would work in high winds and very heavy rain coming from all directions but who’s knows. Happy with purchase as I got this for rain more than the sun. See how long it lasts.

We got this to cover a section of garden to shelter from the rain and sun. Such a high quality product for the price. The metal loops are well secured with reinforced webbing & all of the seams are taped. Well impressed. Better quality than my wild camping tarp which I paid about 37 for . Would definitely recommend.

Standing umbrellas are too big of our small patio being 1.5 meters wide – see photo! We have had a wet and grey August here in UK. Very little sunshine. I tested this “sail” on a number of wet days in early August. Fully waterproof! Yesterday, Sept 5th was the very first day of good sunshine. I put the sail/shade up with temporary fixings again and it proved excellent protection from the sun. The seams are well made and the ring/hooks in each corner are sewn in securely. We liked the range of colours and are pleased with our “rust” colour. The wind as well as the rain earlier in the month was bad but it remained in place. No tears, stretches or loosening of seams. so we are very pleased with the shade it gives us without taking up room around our sun chairs. Great product easy to fit and to packs away neatly. Very pleased..

I’ve waited a few weeks since I bought this shade sail as I wanted to test it fully. Unfortunately since receiving it the weather has been mostly cloudy and sometimes very windy so I haven’t really used it. I did set it up though and as far as I can tell it is definitely worth the money. It pitches taut if you get the pull-outs pulled in the right direction and sufficiently tight. The curved edges aren’t catenary, but what do you expect for the price? Everything about it is good enough, the fabric, the construction and the free fittings I sent for upon receiving it. Overall I’m pleased with my purchase.

Well constructed shade
Shade over patio which I have fixed to wall of house using line provided.
This is robust with decent D rings in the corners. The sides have a curve to them which enables the edged seams to provide strong support for the corner ring. Has been left up in strong winds with no problem. Stores neatly in bag provided. Acts as a reasonable rain cover too.

Amazing! Love it strong great tie rope bought a cheaper one it’s rubbish compared to this make good material just remember to unhook so you don’t get a big rain puddle in it but I can’t recommend this make enough !

This sunshade has been amazing, exactly what we wanted and needed. We use it to shade the toddler paddling pool in the garden and the kids can play for hours without needing to worry about sunburn. Brilliant Buy, perfect shade !!!
We used this to create a shade over aviary run for our rabbits during heatwave, it’s literally saved their lives. The temperature was a marked few degrees lower under the shade. The quality is brilliant, appreciate we’ve not used as others (fastened down with tent pegs). I would definitely buy again – this is the review I left last time & it popped up again. It still applies so used it !!!
Only bought another as The first only covered half the run . This was the medium size & it’d perfect. I sought out the same seller because of the quality. We’ve kept it up in the rain and no leaks and ours is essentially flat ? But it does give you instruction in the fittings how to combat that.
During this heat wave it’s kept our run area so cool
& bunnies so chilled tempted 2 go sit in there ourselves ! Highly recommend
Makes a great awning sun shade for side of carava
Didn’t want to buy a gazebo or parasol for table because they don’t always block the sun too well. The sun shade we ordered was delivered quickly and well packed , not tried when raining but extremely happy as a sun shade, all we do now is move the table under the sun shade, we might buy another for our garden at home, this one we use at our static caravan.
Ankuka 4m x 6m Rectangle Sun Shade
The wife ordered this Ankuka Sun Shade as we have a small area of the garden that is a sun trap. It appears to be a great product, as for installation I think every shade is going to be different. I can’t comment on the water resistance as we are having amazing weather at the moment.
Overall we are very happy with it, just make sure to order a fixing kit if you think you’re going to need it.

Great protection from sun and rai
Our garden is a sun trap and we needed protection from the sun, and the sun sail does exactly that! It doesn’t let any sun through, it is easy to install and the corner fixings are solid. I also like to sit out when it rains and this sail provides excellent protection for this too. Would recommend!

It’s good! Keeps the rain generally off, also acted as sun shade. Not sure logic of it curving in at the sides though, perhaps there is some, but meant for rain especially was less effective shelte

the sail is made from two pieces of material but the stitching joining them is very well done and strong enough to last.
the fixing points on the sail are amazingly strong and will hold up well under most weather conditions.

Good quality sturdy product, excellent for covering patio and making sun shade for kids to play under. Would be good to protect from showers as well but not tested that yet. I put eye bolts in house wall and fence posts then simple cord to each corner. We have a pop up gazebo but I think this is easier to put up and makes a great open free area. Delighted with product, mine (4m x 5m yellow/ orange)
Definitely worth the money!
I have an outside covered in area however because of the clear plastic roof it gets like a sauna in the hot sunny weather! I bought this as with the really hot week just gone it was too hot to sit outside but this helps shade us plus it keeps the area cool, wish I had got it long before now! As I have it under the clear roof I can’t say anything about it’s waterproofing

Really well made & value for money. I wanted something to go under a wooden pergola to make a dry area for seating. This has already been tested & so far so good. Slight drip where the material is stitched together but to be fair I didn’t have the tilt quite right.

Shade for the Pond
These are a must for anyone that has a Koi pond, it keeps the direct sunlight off the water and also blocks the UV and eliminates blanket weed, have ordered 2 now, great product. Easy to set up, however I purchased a fixing kit for the first one which really looks good and is adjustable which allows for tightening and loosening as the situation demands. The sun shade sail is a great must have product.
A bright and cheerful way to get some shade
Well, it’s only been up for one day but so far, looking good. The ‘sail’ is well-made with strong fixings and it connects easily to whatever you decide to use as wall/post fixings. We’ve had a few goes at putting it up, trying to find the best position and it has coped well with being hoisted and lowered several times – no signs of stress, looks like it will last for years. Obviously (the clue is in the name) you need to take it down on windy days but that’s quite simple (I screwed a cup-hook into a long wooden pole to just lift the loops off their fixings on the wall). Very pleased with this item, just hoping we get enough ‘good’ days to get the benefit!

Really easy to install, good quality material and love the colour. It’s done a great job providing shade and also keeping the room cooler in the sunnier weather.
When it rains water just runs off, it wouldn’t keep the area dry (nor does the product advertise that it does) but does stop rain coming in to through the doors so they can be left open.

Good value and effective
Good value and very effective. I purchased this to keep the sun off my south facing patio as it gets unbearable on hot days. Could feel the difference straight away once it was erected. The added bonus is that it folds away flat for storage / winter and it saves on the cost of an expensive awning. Quick postage too.
Wasn’t too sure about the material or tue colour but so far so good. The fitting was easy enough as long as you a drill & a fitting set.
The lighter colour definitely keeps the below area, cooler.

We’ve spent miles more hours in the garden this year compared to years gone by as this shade keeps the sun off us in the hot weather but has also allowed us to play out in the rain, making the garden accessible at any time of day.
Having said that I would recommend taking it down in strong winds.

Good quality for a good price
I picked this sun shade along with 2 from other vendors, but in the end returned the other 2, as this one was fitting best. The thickness of the material and how the sowing was done convinced me that this is the right one to use, as we live close to a windy beach.
Its up for 2 weeks now I and I continue to be happy with it, the color even gives it a bit of a sunny feeling under it, when the clouds are up. 🙂
Having had disappointing results purchasing similar sails from other providers my expectations were relatively low when purchasing this item. Mainly based on the old philosophy of ‘ you get what you pay for.’
How wrong I was !
Not only was the price excellent and very competitive compared to similarly advertised products but the sail also matches the description exactly. It is fully waterproof and very well constructed with reinforced seams.
The size is a perfect fit for my garden space and I have no doubt that it will provide many years service.
To cap it off the customer service is also excellent.
4x3m sail
Product was delivered the next day, on time and in good condition. We are fortunate that our garden gets the sun all day and this sail provides welcome shade without the need to keep moving smaller parasols. This is well made, with good strong D rings in each corner. Would recommend.

I have just received my sail and it’s great , I ordered the 3m x 4m the quality is excellent and very tough !!! As I only put it up yesterday I do not know what it is like in the rain but it is perfect for covering my hot tub and big enough to cover some chairs around it as well . I would definitely recommend to any one and if I need another for a different area in my garden will definitely buy again.
Beautiful Sunshade
I was surprised at how fast my order was delivered and the generous proportions of this sunshade. Although it said ” yellow” as the colour, it was actually an even nicer Orange which casts a lovely glow in the sun.
Ankuka had also offered the fixings to go with this and their customer service seems very reliable as they answered my query immediately.
Not totally waterproof in torrential rain but absolutely fine in moderate rain or drizzle.
Really great sail, keeps us nice and cosy in hot tub when weather not great and shades us when it is. Good coverage as other reviews on smaller sails said didn’t cover the full hot tub and didn’t fancy trying to dodge in and out of the rain. All in all exactly what we needed.

I’ve been looking at these for a while, both the triangle sails and the rectangle ones and decided to give it go. After using a standard fixing kit found elsewhere on Amazon I had this up in about 15 minutes as it was going up under a pergola. The sail itself looks great, seems to be made out of good strong material and the seams are all strong and double stitched. We have had a lot of rain recently and this stood up well to both rain and wind. Although be warned after a lot of rain they do fill (mine is at about a 20-degree angle) but freeing one corner empties it quite dramatically! The sail was very waterproof, but I did find it dripped a little through the seam when it was full of water, but for normal rainfall, this will keep you dry. Overall, it was a great purchase, with good customer service, I will be buying more colours for different parts of the garden.

Impressed so far, light weight but good quality, stitching looks strong and the colour is great nice and bright but durable enough to keep the rain out. Very please with the purchase but only used as a temporary set up so far as my posts aren’t quite square need to rig up taught as a more permanent fixture.
Great quality sunshade
Last year we purchase an umbrella to shield us from the heat, it was good but had difficulties weighing it down and we kept on walking into it when it was up. This year we’ve gone for this Ankuka canopy instead, we can attach it to our walls and fence making it much more practical. The quality is great, came in an awesome little bag which will keep it clean in the winter, and when folded up it takes up much less space than the umbrella in the garage! Highly recommended.

Having used parasol and bases for many years with the second order issue of trying to deal with them in the wind, I decided to search for a sun shade with great reviews.
Having spent several days reviewing various products from different retailers, I took the plunge and ordered a sunshade from Ankuna on Amazon.
The product was well priced and had excellent reviews and on receipt (which was next day) it was easy to see why this company has great reviews…..the product was excellently packaged and using the easy to follow instructions, I had mounted it in no time. The quality of the product was exceptional.
I am delighted with the product, the ease at which it can be put up and down and the looks far surpassed what I imagined and I will definitely will not be going to the parasol based option of sun screening again.

We purchased this product as a sail to put up in the rain. We have a very bespoke space it needs to go in, so didn’t want to spend a lot to ruin with modifications. This product is perfect for our requirements. Decent quality material and appears to be well stitched.
Only reason we haven’t attached a photo is because our modifications do not do justice to the product.
Only time will tell, but this seems like a great product at a great price, and the customer services team were happy to help.
Great sun shade
Great sun shade, lovely colour, used to cover our pergola. Works well in the sun, but haven’t had any rain yet so not sure how shower proof it is (thus 4 stars not 5). The ropes provided work well, it was so easy to put up, not at all heavy or cumbersome. However, I feel for more permanence the sturdier metal fixings are a better option.

We’ve got this to give us a little shelter in the garden – we live in a very damp area and are only allowed to meet friends outside with covid regulations so wanted to have a little sheltered area. So far it seems durable and strong, the metal eyelets are really great and good quality so I think it will last a good while…
Easy to install durable item
I bought this item as needed some extra shade in the garden when my toddler is playing outside on a sunny day.
But i also needed waterproof one as we were going to celebrate his birthday in the park and you never know what British weather going to turn.
As it is very light weight I was going to use it and fix it on the trees in case of rain.
Its durable, easy to install.
We will see how long its going to last but I hope quite a while until we need a new one.

Love this sail, although be aware that, if it rains overnight, the sail will sag in the middle and doesn’t return to its original taughtness. This is to be expected with the material though, the seams are very strong, holds out wind perfectly, and I have purchased bungee ropes for easy fitting, which make it very quick to put up and take down. Overall I love it!
Great quality & value for money
I have no complaints, this looks great, provides great shade from the sun and keeps light rain showers at bay. This has been excellent during these uncertain times of lockdown – now that we are able to have family and friends visit in our garden this has been a great shade from the sun and from showers meaning we can still sit outside in light rain. The size is perfect for our patio and was very quick to install. We take it down each evening and don’t put up if it is very windy. This is great value for money and I am very pleased with it.

We’ve had ours for a year now and it is a life saver. We have it fitted over our patio and as well as giving shade on the patio it also shields the back patio doors resulting in the kitchen being less of an oven!

The sun shade felt strong, durable, and was the perfect size for my garden and came in lovely yellow beige colour exactly as shown.
Liked that it was lightweight and came with everything I needed to use the sun shade straightaway with D rings and rope to fasten on to my fencing poles, the instructions was easy to understand and came with handy diagrams to ensure I placed the shade at an angle.
Overall happy with sun shade as it just does the job and provides excellent shade on sunny days in the garden.
