Natural jute twine is far superio
Natural jute twine is far superior and kinder to the environment because plastic twine frays and rots leaving countless plastic threads in the shrubs/on the ground, and these are so very bad for the birds as they get caught around their legs and their beaks.

Why would I need 1000ft of string?
That’s exactly what my wife asked. The roll of twine has been hung in my garage from where I have used it for MANY things! Supporting my tomatoes, cucumbers, beans, sweet peas, sunflowers, and for making a “cage” that allows smaller birds get to the feeders, but not for the crows and magpies 🙂 Though having used only ~100ft, I’ll have to come up with some more ideas 😉

I needed something stong & sturdy primarily for using in the garden to tie up plants etc, and found this to be ideal.
It’s been perfectly fine used as a single thickness but I’d possibly double it for anything more substantial than a thick woody shrub or smallish tree. The brown colour blends with the greenery so doesn’t stand out obviously.
This string would also be good for tying parcels for that rustic touch, or used to hang pictures… so many uses and it’s a big ‘ball’ so will last some time. Pleased with my purchase & good value.

Excellent product. Use it in vegetable and flower garden. However it was eventually delivered via a local farmer who spotted it in a field at the base of a tree. Rubbish delivery driver Amazon!

Good value for money and quick delivery. The string seems to be quite strong, but no issues cutting down to size. The twine is a little bit flaky as expected, so you will end up with some strand pieces falling off when handling this product – this does not affect the durability though.

It’s green, very green. I guess over time your eyes adjust. That said, it’s brilliant value and excellent quality. A real boon in the garden. The fibres seem well spun and there’s no shedding or fraying that you get with cheaper inferior quality twines. And it’s very gree

Sturdy twine. Comes with a cardboard tube in the centre. Last twine I bought didn’t and kept falling apart. Pleased with this roll of twine although a bit smaller than I expected.

Bought this to use in the garden to tie things up. Very pleased with it (I’ve had it before too) and in this big size is good value.
I do not need it to last more than the growing season. It does get wet when it rains and also bakes in the heat and it doesn’t rot or break. So, all round, I’m pleased.

I like having plenty of string to last for quite a few jobs. It is a good strong string and my first job with it will be a wigwam of string for my runner beans to climb. I’m sure it will all be put to good use.

I use jute twine for many tasks in the garden: tying up tomatoes; stringing round broad beans; supporting large plants like sunflowers … This twine is strong, thick and so far perfect . Can’t comment on durability until the end of the season.

This is a thin string but much stronger than it looks, used daily for tying newspapers for sending back. Not had any issue with breaking. A great environmentally alternative.

I thought I would try something more natural looking than the green string I have been using for supporting the plants, and it seems to be doing OK, so far the only thing is the ends fray quite easily.

So many uses
I was only going to use this product to tie up napkins. However, I ended up using it for tying up Xmas secs, wrapping present with it instead of using ribbon, tied up the Turkey / and when the weather gets warmer I have a feeling it will be my ‘go to’ for training plants – so happy with this!

Fabulous. Still got more than half of one of these rolls left, and most of my various sized parcels were stringed up. Love the texture, going to reuse it in the garden, so no waste. Happy and will be reordering.

Dear seller, I need to send these bags back, as I have no use for them. They are not really that good quality I have lots of heavy vegetables that I need to put in them and they don’t look trustworthy to me.
