BoYata Laptop Stand, 6 Levels of Height Adjustable Portable

 

Light and sturdy, is perfect for a Macbook Pro 13″, good padding on the contact points with the laptop and for that it get 5* from me. May not be suitable for larger, bulkier laptops.

 

Does the job, would have been better if the height was a few centimetres (2cm) more higher.

 

I wanted something ergonomic to hold my laptop but not too big. This is perfect.

 

This is my first review, mostly because this product has improved my working condition so much. I had other laptop stand before, but this is a game changer. It is collapsible, has a velvety pouch for storage so the edges doesn’t scrape other electronics. The built is fab, sturdy, absolutely no vibration at all while you go ham on the keyboards.

 

Probably a little small for 15.6″ laptop, but did know it was for 13-14″ max. However was on offer and needed something to lift underneath heat exhaust, which it does perfectly. Only opens slightly wider than the laptops touchpad, so not totally sturdy when hitting sides of keyboard, but with care had no issues. However, would suggest that you buy the correct size. Like that is metal, lightweight and folds up flat when not in use. Comes with cloth carry case.

 

I’ve got a 17 inch laptop on this despite it being recommended up to 15 inch. It is still plenty stable and the fact it packs down small into its own bag makes it easy to bring with me.

 

This is a very small piece of kit that can make extended laptop use much easier on your neck! It will not give you as large a height adjustment as products like the one from Nexstand, but that’s because it is a very tiny item.
Construction is solid. It’s made of heavy aluminium and has robust joints. It is very compact when folded.

In use, the laptop screen can be raised by a lot, but the higher the screen gets, the larger the angle between the keyboard and screen, and the keyboard can be quite sloped at the extreme. It’s just a consequence of the mechanics of the design of this stand: the front edge of the keyboard will remain at table level, and the rear gets progressively higher as you increase the slope of the stand.

It is suitable for items medium to small laptops and also items like ebook readers and tablets. Due to it’s tiny size it will fit into even a handbag.

 

The product is small, and easy to use. It is very sturdy

 

It’s light, easy to pack away and set up, simple yet effective.

It has 4 rubber pads at the bottom which both protects your desk and stops it from moving around easily. The rubber on the face of it helps protect the bottom of your laptop and prevents it sliding. The aluminium finish is chic and sturdy. I really like the opening/closing action of the ‘X’ fold. The legs that you slot into the base to change the angle of the face feel a little flimsy at first, but honestly as soon as you connect it to one of the base slots it really isn’t going anywhere. Overall a really nice kit.

At the moment I use it for my personal 17″ laptop, it’s a bit small for it to be honest, but it still props it up nicely and still feels like my laptop and the stand both aren’t going anywhere. The vent on my laptop is also perfectly positioned so it opens to the free space between the two main arms. Since the arms are pretty thin in width I imagine it would provide the same free space for other laptops to breath.

 

I like this stand it feels good quality and although it’s not wide enough to stretch across my 15″ MacBook Pro, that doesn’t matter as it is sturdy enough to hold it. So it is fine for a 15″ laptop but as I said, it doesn’t stretch to the corners, but that doesn’t matter.

Nice carry bag to hold it too so I’ve seen smaller but this is perfect for my needs.

 

I cannot fault this stand. I use it on the lowest height setting and find that it is really very sturdy and the laptop feels secure and does not move about as I type. It also helps to keep my Dell Inspiron 14-7400 cool which was the original reason for purchase after an intense graphic editing session and so I am pleased to discover that it also provides a good working angle for the keyboard and the screen, and it is so portable with a nice travel bag. So where the laptop goes so will this stand. The silver colour is perfect too.

 

The laptop stand is helping me keeping my computer raised from the desk to have a better airflow. This is also helping me keeping a better posture as the screen is now higher. The stand is sturdy and well built, and the case is really convenient as I can carry around the folded stand in my backpack without worrying to damage other things.

 

There are a whole host of laptop stands of very similar designs but a friend had recommended this type of portable laptop stand so I spent a fair amount of time researching them and watching deals. This one came up recently in the lightening deal and having looks at the specs I thought I’d give it a go. I have not been disappointed. The packaging is very simple and discreet and one of the important factors for me was a little bag for it which it came with (see picture). I was pleasantly surprised at how solid it is – it is solid metal as opposed to flimsy plastic and the rubber on the inside of the stand has held my laptop firmly in place (which you can see in attached pictures). The angle it can be set at is adjustable so it’s very convenient. Adjusting it every so often really helps ease any stiffness or joint aches whether in your back, neck or wrists. Obviously don’t have it at too high an angle if you’re using the keyboard but then you can simply use a separate keyboard if need be if you need the screen at a higher level. All in all a really great product at a very good price! Thank you!

 

This product is excellent on a number of accounts. This product is light, compact to carry in a bag, and really easy to use. Quality materials well engineered, it neatly and smoothly folds into a velvet pouch to protect it. It is completely adjustable to act as stand for any portable device or even a book or board with settings for different angles and heights. It is ideal for a laptop as it sets the position of the screen at an equal height for an adjacent monitor.

 

Used to prop up a small 11-inch laptop, this stand is really well made, with the non-slip feet and adjustable angle of dangle. I also like the well-designed curve in the legs that hold the bottom of the laptop. Plus, the way it’s put together allows plenty of room underneath the laptop for disk drives etc. A good product.

 

Neat little stand that is surprisingly sturdy. Much mire stable than my previous, larger, stand. Love the fact that it has so many positions.

 

I have been using this for a month and it has been really easy . It is a nice budget product.

 

This is a great little stand I use for my laptop while watching TV on my exercise bike. It is strong enough to hold a 14 inch Chromebook with no concerns.

If lifts the laptop to a good height to look into the screen. I do tend to use it on the highest setting and not sure I would ever use it on much less than that.

 

Great product that makes working from home a breeze, also the fact that it can compact to a thin footprint makes it great for travelling.

 

Normally, I work on a desktop machine, with large monitors held at the right height by those clamping monitor stands. I’m a bit of a zealot about monitor height, in fact. But every now and then – and particularly when away – I work on a laptop.

So I looked to get a laptop stand that would hopefully raise the screen to a sensible working height, and be able to fold away and fit in my laptop bag. I wasn’t expecting to find anything, actually – but I found this on a Lightning Deal. I suspect I wouldn’t have bought it at full price, but actually, it’s probably worth it having actually tried it out.

The stand itself folds tiny, and all contact points (or potential contact points) with the laptop and the ground are rubber feet firmly attached to the aluminium frame. It’s a little fiddly to put up, but really not that tricky. The blurb says the aluminium build means it’ll help cooling – this I doubt, as the rubber feet will insulate it nicely, and there’s so little contact with the laptop that the fans will have maximum airflow anyway. Mostly, the aluminium construction helps with the weight, I think.

I don’t type on the laptop when using this – I have a bluetooth keyboard and mouse I use – but it seems stable enough that typing might be OK. My laptop is a 15″ Dell XPS 2-in-1, so not small, and it’s touchscreen – which i tend to use – and despite all that the laptop is well supported on the stand, and doesn’t wobble when I hit the fingerprint sensor or prod the screen. The stand itself seems rock solid, my concern would be that violent typing might knock the laptop off, not collapse the stand – but experimental prodding of the keyboard doesn’t look like normal typing would hurt. So 5 stars for sturdiness, since it comfortably exceeds my expectations here.

That said, I’d use an external keyboard because the laptop keyboard is going to be on quite a slope anyway.

The height, on the highest setting, is still low when placed on a normal desk. But it’s not so bad on a kitchen table, and it’s so much better than using the laptop on its own that I’ll give it four stars overall for ergonomics.

It weighs next to nothing, and folds up so small it’ll just slip into the laptop bag without any worries at all, so perfect on that front. The little carry-case is comes with would be ideal to avoid scratching the laptop in more traditional laptop bags; I’ve one of those vast backpacks so it’s probably not needed.

Overall, this was my best accessory buy of Prime Day – I can see myself using this a lot.

 

I like that the pouch first of all because now i can put it in my backpack without scratching the stand or anything with the stand. I also like how compact it is and how strong it is for it’s size. I found it through a youtube review of Chris Wilmshurst and thought i’d buy it. I am happy with the purchase!

 

I was originally just going to go for a non adjustable one but for a few pounds more (it was a lightning deal) I picked this up and it was a good decision.
It’s a sturdy bit of kit and the ability to adjust it is an actual godsend for zoom calls as I can adjust it so the webcam is at eye level and so I don’t look quite so odd during zoom calls.
my only niggle is that the feet are too close to each other for a large (15 inch) laptop so it makes it a little tricky when trying to adjust the sight line. Apart from that, I can’t fault it and recommend it to anyone still hesitating.

 

Great laptop stand. I was looking for something compact that does not take up too much room. This is ideal, as it also collapses away in a small bag that comes with it.

 

This stand is amazing. It folds up into a small box, so it’s very portable. As someone who works remotely and travels, this is a great stand to take on business trips. It’s also very easy to setup and use. All in all, money well spent. I look forward to using for years to come. Great value for money.

 

Great quality and well worth the money. Bought it for my other half who was having back problems working from home.

No issues so far and it looks good, feels good and I’m thinking of getting one for myself.

 

I like it because of the aluminium alloy material. Mechanical style, portable, adjustable, compact, lightweight, robust and foldable. I used it for my MacBook Pro 13-inch while doing my assignments. It’s also compatible with the phone and tablet. It comes with a storage bag (which is a bonus). I also like the heat dissipation function, slide-proof, protective hooks and silicone pads.

 

The delivery was fast and I received it the next day. The quality of the laptop stand is very good, it looks very solid, which makes me comfortable when I use my laptop to watch movies.
