It’s heavier and bulkier than my current daily use smart watch. However, I actually like the heavy duty look and feel of this one. The two wristbands are excellent too. I really like the smoothness of the black band. It is very comfortable.

The navigation to the messages screen is a downer for me. I like having messages pushed on the phone and this phone vibrates like crazy. However, accessing the messages can only be done from navigating to the settings panel first. There are no shortcut swipes to the messages. Other than that, it’s just a matter of getting used to using it.

There are a lot of watch face options to choose. The phone vibrates hard enough you can hear it and for several seconds, almost too long. I could not find a way to change that length of vibration in the settings. It does not have a cheesy tag line or “smart watch” engraved on the watch. The app installs and connects nicely. The watch face is very bright at 100% and I didn’t have a problem seeing the watch in direct sunlight. You can select the length of time, in seconds, for how long the watch face displays. I set it to 10 seconds. However, when you turn your wrist away, the screen turns off automatically.

There are over 80 watch faces to choose from. It takes about a minute to download a watch face.

Be sure to navigate in the app to “Mine” located in the bottom right corner, then BRIBEJAT (the first item on the list), and then to “Switch setting”. Make sure “Wear test” is OFF otherwise nothing works.

I have never used the sleep monitoring as I take my watch off at night to charge. I don’t use all the exercise options either.

Excellent watch. No shortcut to messages scree

The watch is a little larger than other smart watches I’ve owned. If you like a small or sleek look, I wouldn’t go with this watch. I got used to it pretty quickly. Setup is similar to other smart watches I’ve tried. Download an app, and that walks you through getting started. The app also tracks some things like blood pressure and your steps. The watch face is sharp enough to display text that’s readable.

The menu is laid out pretty intuitively. There’s a little guide that will explain how to use the basic functions, but I didn’t have to look at it much. I figured out what to do through trial and error without too much trouble. Having experience with other watches helped.

It’s got a nice set of features for a watch at this price. I tested making and taking calls and it did so without a problem. The app lets you create a list of contacts that can be shown on the watch. Just tap on one of them to call them. Messages show up in notifications, and you can read a message that’s too long to fit on the screen completely, just tap on the screen to get to move through the message. I am having a problem with the notification feature that’s a little odd. Whenever I go into the message app on my phone to look at a new text, an old message gets pushed to my watch. It was originally sent on August 13th, before I even owned the watch. It would make the watch unusable, except that it only happens when I go into the message app on my phone. My phone is by one of the major makers of Android phones and this only happens with this watch, so I don’t think the phone is the problem. Fortunately, it only happens when I look at messages on my phone, so the watch is still usable. It’s only a minor annoyance. The watch can be set to alert you when it disconnects from the phone, which is another feature I don’t always see on these watches. It’s a good one to have because another flaw with the watch, probably the biggest one, is that the range for staying connected to the phone isn’t very good. If I don’t have my phone in my pocket it’ll disconnect a lot while I’m walking around my apartment, which isn’t that large.

It’s also got those features you usually find on most smart watches, like a blood pressure monitor and heart rate and foot step trackers. Blood pressure and heart rate gave similar results to what I got using a blood pressure monitor. The other features are working fine as well, though I don’t know how to test whether the number of calories burned for different activities like hiking and biking are accurate. That’s beyond my abilities.

Battery life might be the most impressive thing about the watch. It outdoes all the batteries in the other watches I’ve owned and it’s not really close. I forgot the charger when I went away for the three day labor day weekend, but the watch made it easily. I had over half a charge left by the time I got back. There’s about 8 GB of storage in the watch for playing music without having to connect with a cell phone. It’s not something I use much because I’d have to connect the watch to a speaker for the music to be listenable. The speaker in the watch is loud and clear enough for making calls, but not much more.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersI love this watch. I swap out the band for a leather one first thing as I like leather. it is 22mm if anyone wants to do the same. did not do a point for point test of all the features, but it reads like all my other smart watches, so I’m happy. great look and very nice quality.

Perfect smart watch. It connects quickly to the phone and has enough programs like smart phone. The screen and light colors are very clear. I like them because they come in two different types of bands.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersThis watch impressed me. I like the interface, I like the app, and I just like the watch itself. The quick menu from the bottom button is useful, the black rubber strap looks great and holds up well, and the general experience is solid.

The sleep tracking was the most sensitive I’ve ever used, and I really like it. It doesn’t seem bound by the whole “sleep between 8pm and 8am” rule that a lot of smart watch apps have, which is perfect for me since I have an irregular sleep cycle. The chart was really detailed, I was impressed! Heart rate was also a slam dunk, with a chart showing the past 24hrs and individual readings broken down every half hour. I do wish it could be a little more granular, but it is what it is. One thing I wasn’t expecting (but should be standard IMO) is continuous blood pressure monitoring. I love to see it, but it’s pretty rare to find. That’s measured every ten minutes, so it’s kind of weird that I can’t configure the heart rate to be the same.

There’s also step tracking and on-demand heart rate and blood pressure readings.

Notifications are very nice, but there was some weirdness going on. Like many watches it comes preconfigured for certain apps, then allows for “other” apps to be selected individually. Sometimes apps I didn’t select would slip through the cracks and I’d get Car Mode notifications or something like that. Tweaking the visibility of these helped but it’s a workaround. Otherwise, big screen, easy to read, lots of text, very nice!

The audio side is a bit weak, but that’s not why I got this. What do you expect from a speaker and mic in a watch? I just use the media controls for Bluetooth speakers. Let a gimmick be a gimmick I suppose.

I like this watch. I doubt you’d be disappointed unless your expectations were really high. I wish it had Google Fit integration.

    A new favorite!

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI am sure this smart watch/fitness tracker works just fine. It is very attractive looking. Has a nice charging base that is magnetic. The band is too short. It barely reaches around my wrist. Also the face is larger in diameter and thicker than I like. This is not the watch for me (my personal taste}. I don’t see me wearing it. There for I did not charge or use it. Will most likely give it to a family member. I can see others really loving it.
