Proper pleased
Very Pleased. Foods fat drips away in the tray below nicely so foods don’t sit cooking and absorbing fats which was mainly the reason I brought, food cooks crispy all round, although i find i still have to turn once. Foods don’t stick to it which is important. Very Easy to clean with soft sponge only. I leave to cool before cleaning which prolongs it’s life apparently. Highly recommended.

Better than some of the alternatives
I had a previous one of these which had more of a thin enamel finish, described as granite. While it was good for crisping up chips, anything in breadcrumbs or a host of other foods which cook better on a mesh base it was not very durable. The thin enamel started to come off, it was not very easy to clean and it started to go rusty.
I bought this hoping it would be an improvement. It is equally as effective at getting a good crispy finish, seems to be easier to clean and so far it’s lasted at least as long as the previous one. However it still looks quite good and not as ‘well used’ as the previous. This one was also a couple of pounds cheaper.
Overall quite pleased but still think it will need replacing in about 12 months
Chip frying tray
I use this product for most things I want to be crispy. Very pleased with it. However i ordered another for my son but immediately cancelled it to order it to go to him in Wales. Amazon confirmed the cancellation and the new order, but have sent me another one and one to my son.

I love this item. It’s perfect for chips, wedges, chicken in breadcrumbs or scampi. Cooks the food evenly keeps the food crispy and is easily cleaned.

Cooked fish and chips, tasted wonderful. Tried to clean it but the copper coating came off in one place, only used sponge, so not too happy about that. Weighing up the pros and cons would not purchase another one.

This is the second Copper Crisper that I have bought. I bought my first one about 5 years ago, and it has seen better days. I like the way chips crisp up,but also find it useful for cooking other foods.It is still excellent value for money,I would recommend.

This was a revelation. I don’t fancy cleaning the oven too often, but I love oven chips. Unfortunately, they leave some of their oil behind while it runs through the holes of the Chips “special” pan.
No need to turn the pieces of frying battered fish to have it golden on both sides and the tray makes sure that whatever crumbs or oil runs down is running on the tray. Fantastic.

I really liked it because it can go in the oven, liked the colour, it’s just perfect, at the moment I fry quite a lot of stuff and it keeps everything crispy. Easy to clean, and it’s value for money. Really good product. It came the next day which I was really pleased.
Tray not non-stick
Chips come out crispy but the tray is a bit flimsy and I fesr the coating will disappear when I try to clean it. It’s definitely not non-stick.

Small but effective
It’s great for baking instead of frying and gives food more crisp edges than when it sits directly on a tray. Great for chips, scampi and fish fillets. It’s a little small so really only good when cooking for two people.
Fabulous item - must have
I used it for the first time at the week end and must say I was very impressed with the crispness of the chips and also the fact that they were evenly done. Usually when I do them on the tray they are sometimes a bit greasy from the coating on the chips but the ones made in the crisper were brilliant. Love this and glad I bought it.

This is an excellent piece of kit. It grills food beautifully in the oven. I use it for anything greasy. E.g battered fish, meat balls, fish cakes. Food comes out browned and crisp. It is easy to clean which is an added bonus. So glad I bought it.

A lot of my cooking is convenience cooking – straight from the freezer to the oven. These trays are perfect for this – oven chips, frozen fish, breaded chicken etc. They allow the air to circulate (fan-assisted oven) – the food cooks more quickly and comes out a lot better. I haven’t yet managed to over-cook (that means ‘burn’) anything, which is a new thing for me. The trays and baskets clean very easily – a quick soak and they come up fine. Very satisfied.

Very good for crisping up chips , chicken , fish fingers and battered fish. Looks good too. Coating is a bit easy to damage with the basket legs but for the price,buy another after 6mths.

A little bit smaller than I expected. Cooks very well and good non stick qualities. Very difficult to clean though and tricky to pick up from the oven as there is not enough space between the tray and the mesh to get a good grip.
Wouldn’t buy this again.

Why spend lots of money?
I was pleasantly surprised that this crisper tray was so effective. I mean, you hear about air fryers that are so effective and very costly and then there’s this tray, so inexpensive and it does the job. Trust me you don’t need to spend lots of money for an air fryer when this does the job perfectly well in the oven.

Was previously using a mesh so this has a tray with it and catches any drips or spills. Well made and easy to clean.

I am not sure that the chips are as crisp as one would expect. However, the value of this product is its usefulnesss and your ability to do fish and chips at the same time in one tray. Saves on the frying. Easy to clean and will last as long as you remember to cool it down before dunking it in water. Yes, I would purchase again and plan to purchase several and give them out as Christmas gifts.
Good alternative to air frye
Used for frozen battered fish which can become soggy on the underside. Result was good. An alternative to air fryer if oven already being used for other items or to complement air fryer capacity. May buy another.

I have been using an oven to cook my chips for as long as can remember, putting my chips into standard oven dishes but when I got this copper tray and basket I must admit I have been missing out, my chips are crispier than ever before, it’s not the biggest basket but plenty for just the wife and me as my kids have grown up (finally) and moved out if you have a few kids in the house then it’s very possible there will not be enough to go around but for me, I do like it a lot.
once I’m done I do put it in my dishwasher and it cleans superbly with no issues, the basket is separate from the tray so it can be used for other things rather than just chips. in my opinion, it was worth the money so a big thumbs up and will look to see if there are any more products like this. Great Guinness
This item is so handy for doing all sorts cooking in the oven. From fish and chips to bacon and sausages anything. I’m just sorry that i never got one earlier. So on thst note I’m off to stick a few sausages in the oven. And settle in with a few tins off Draught Guinness Slainte

Excellent. I use this every day as It will cook things and allow any grease or fat to drip through onto the tray keeping it from making the oven really dirty. I put it in the dishwasher on normal wash and it cleans easily.
One of my best purchases.
I have used this item which works for cooking but the copper plating is so thin that if it is in the dishwasher anything it touches wears it off. I would not use a dishwasher.
does a good job design could be a bit bette
Crisped up the fish and chips up nicely. Nothing stuck to the basket. Smaller than anticipated, only suitable for one person. Difficult to get out of the the oven as the basket slips around a bit on the tray.

What can I say, this is excellent. Been after one of these for ages and when I saw the price of this item I could not say NO! I have a lot of copper cooking utensils and they are amazing, so this completes my set perfectly. My air fryer finally give up on me, but didn’t want to spend a lot of money replacing it, so bought this, and it’s fab, chips come out the same , cooked chicken and steak , no bother, easy to clean and just pop away , would recommend
Great tray but small
Tray is great and produces great chips. Only room on tray for max 2 small appetite adults.
If I can use an appliance to make food ,in which my daughter's are happy ,their will do me.
I like to cook healthfully, so putting beef joints , chickhen , burger or bacon in the basket gives you perfectly cook food , but all the fat as drained to the tray below, while still keeping the full flavour.
It really works
Had my doubts how this copper crisper would work, but am really impressed I had a large luncheon party and chips were the order of the day, I used pre cut chunky chips and par boiled gave them a light spray with oil and put two batches it and they really did come out crisper. I actually served the last batch in the crisper. the chips went down really we;ll. Would certainly recommend

I love this tray because I can put my fish and chips in the oven and let them cook without having to turn them halfway through the cooking, also great for other things that have fat dripping from them much healthier than the flat trays where the fat stays in the food.I love this idea and have told others about it best kitchen gadget I have bought for a while.
Very simple and lightweight tray. I would not say that it was copper though, more just a copper coloured enamel. It works well and is fairly easy to clean but it any burnt on food residue does stain and the coating can chip/scratch off so if suggest using the soft side of a sponge and avoid the abrasive side. If I had seen/felt this product in a shop I definitely wouldn’t pay over a fiver for it as it’s cheaply made and small. However it works for all intended purposes.
