I’ve had this set for over a year. It looked great when I got it and looks great still. It’s light, which is the reason I went with Corelle, and it’s durable. Great buy. It should last me a long time.
They have a very nice design, only concern is that they seem very thin which makes me wonder if they will be ask chip and shatter resistant as advertised. I do wish their bowls were larger, you cannot get a reasonable serving size with then so you are forced to buy the larger ones separately.
Love Corelle dishes! Thought they would be great starter set for my son starting college. Surprisingly, even my son liked them, plus he doesn’t need to worry about them chipping or breaking
Having a large young family, I have been looking tor durable dishes nice enough to entertain on. Corelle doesn’t scream fancy, but it fits the requirements well. It replaced the hodge pogde of plastic and cheap big box plates in our cabinets.

These replaced our first Pfaltzgraff dish set that we had for over 25 years (so we were a little attached). These plates are much, much lighter and thinner than our old ones, and seem less susceptible to chips. We’ve had them for over 5 months now and they’ve definitely clanged around, but no chips yet. The simple style is perfect for us, and we are glad we purchased them.

I have the old green ivy Corelle dishes from many years ago. These seem to be the same quality and size HOWEVER the bowls are tiny. Not as large at all as they used to be. Plates are a good size. Not the quality of my Pfaltzgraff dishes but I think they will do for everyday dishes and will fit nicely in the dishwasher.
I have used it for past 25 years so very well aware of quality and light weight every day set.
Price is now bit higher but they are worth it as they will last long.

I am a big fan of Corelle, they go from microwave to toaster oven to table. They are light and durable. I wanted to match my old Corelle set but those were no longer available. These are the closest and they look good and decent match for the old ones.
Got this set for our Motorhome. It’s beautiful, well made and generally bulletproof. I’ve had Corelle for years and use it in my home daily. My only complaint is they’ve shrunk the luncheon plate. It’s now only 6″. Used to be 8″.
When I picked the box I thought it was empty! I didn’t expect the product to come in such a small and light box. The product itself is very light and when stacked takes up little room. Good product and let’s hope it lasts a long time (from previous reviews it seems like it does)

Just the right size, plates are not too big and very light, fairly thin but obviously strong. Things often get broken here during washing up at the sink so am hoping these plates will survive better than our old retro set.and they look very good too

I’m a huge fan of Corning Correlle. These plates last long, easy to clean in the dishwasher, work in microwave ovens, and are nice to see as a table service. I really recommend, especially if you can get them for a good price.
Overall the dishes are very nice. We’ve had Corelle for over 20 years in our house and always appreciate how light they are and how much space is saved due to their thinness.
Our old set was starting to wear and chip a little around the edges and we finally settled on getting the Mystic Gray set.
I bought 2 sets about a week apart, the first for $57.39, the second for $56.99. The first one came with a sticker that said “Thanks to you, this product has a second life.” No where in the description was there a note that the item would be used. Ultimately, the dishes seemed to be in mint condition and still in their factory wrappings. I did contact Amazon and they gave me a $10 account credit.
Given I paid more for the “second life” set, I think there was likely some error on the processing side. All was made well in the end, and there now appears options for buying new or used, but I’d still say to just mind carefully what you order and what you receive.

I can use these for the kids and not worry about chipping. Lightweight and seem very durable. I wish the smaller plate was the lunch size instead of the bread and butter size.
The dimensions of each of the pieces are much smaller than I anticipated. Cereal/soup dish are barely large enough for two scoops of ice cream.
Now…..After a few months we’re getting used to them. They make a plate of food look very full, hence – we eat less!
I love these plates! They are easy to clean, they wont get marks on them if you use a steak knife and overall just a great plate! I chose this design because I like to stay up with the trends and I like how simple and clean this is, if I were to ever change my kitchen theme there wouldnt be a need to change the plates as well!
I moved away from the extra heavy ironstone ceramic ware and to Corelle. I have purchased several different patterns… but I really loved the subtle, soft gray of this set. The gray is soft and I would say SLIGHTLY taupe gray – so less blue gray, very slightly brown gray – in case that is super important to you. Looks great with the frost white pieces I have. What is the greatest thing about Corelle… several things… lightweight, but nearly unbreakable (they WILL break – but you gotta really hit it just right or try super hard)… takes up very little space because they are thin. REALLY easy to load and unload into and out of the dishwasher. There is a pattern and a color for everyone. The older I get, the easier I like things. I will say that you will want to invest in some plate hotpads. One of the side effects of a thinner plate, it transfers heat really quickly. Small price to pay for such ease of use.
This dinner set isn’t very fancy but it is very durable. I’ve already owned a plain white Corelle dinner set and it took some rough treatment before it started to show chips. This one has been no different but it’s early days. Prints haven’t faded even a little after a few dishwasher cycles.
These are perfect! I wanted a lightweight set for my home. My current plates were super heavy and chipped right away. My only thing I don’t like is the snack plate is really small. It can maybe hold a roll. The size reminds me of a tea cup saucer. I prefer the smaller plate to at least hold a slice of pie. Because pie is amazing! I will definitely purchase more of the regular size plates. Oh and the bowls are a good size also!
I bought them for durability. I wanted something that looked nice but would last. Within a week the kids had already dropped a bunch of these on the floor, and they survived a fall of about 2-3 feet. Not broken or even chipped. Around here, it’s durable or it’s destroyed. These are a lot nicer than plastic.
Update: a dinner plate did not survive a fall of 4 feet. Sad to lose it, but not unexpected. Shattered into tiny pieces. Is there anything more durable that’s also microwave and dishwasher safe, and isn’t plastic? Not changing my rating, I’m still pleased overall.
Corelle is supposed to be durable but I don’t think anything could survive the way these were packed in the box with little to no padding between plates or the outside of the box. I’m glad I got it through Prime as the option came up to “return” the item and when I clicked on “broken with no damage to box” option it told me I didn’t need to return anything and a replacement set would be sent. A new set is already on the way and even if some of these are broken, I should have a full set with backup replacements. Happy overall with the dishes and with Prime customer service so gave more stars than some might have. I left this review as advice for Corelle or Amazon or whoever packed the box as this could lose them money if they keep packing them this way not as a review of the product itself.
Update: Got the new set yesterday and everything seems fine. Same packaging though so the review stands. I realized this time that the difference is that they just slap a mailing label on a Corelle box instead of putting inside a protected, sturdier Prime box. The original Corelle box and packaging are not meant for shipping alone.

I ordered two sets of these dishes for my son-in-law and his two children (his beloved wife, my daughter, passed away recently). Their dishes were in dire need of replacement, so I decided on Corelle Ware for its durability. The nice surprise is that they take up much less space than regular dishes and that is important since they don’t have a lot of cabinet space to spare. These were much nicer than I expected. The only negative is that the appetizer plate is small and I realized that they would need a real lunch plate. I just ordered another complementary pattern to enhance the set. I’m very pleased with these dishes, especially for a household without a wife/mother. They’ll work very well for them. This is a surprise so I hope they like them!

I actually love the dishes. The mystic gray pattern is lovely and neutral. They seem durable so far, which is great with our two boys (we don’t use plastic kid dishes).
My only negative is 1 dinner plate and 1 bowl arrived chipped. The chip obviously happened prior to being shipped, as there were no pieces in the box. I would love a replacement for these, but it appears I have to send back the whole set to Amazon, which is a big hassle.

I purchased two 18 piece sets for a total of 12 servings. I was pleased with the price. I ordered this set to replace an old Corelle set that I recently found out contained dangerous lead levels. I also didn’t need cups so this set without cups was great, I love the pattern and the dishes all arrived without breakage. My only negative, which is my own fault for not scrutinizing the set, is that the smaller plates are not the 8.5 inch lunch plates but a smaller appetizer plate. So I ended up ordering the lunch plates afterwards, which only come in sets of 8. But all in all I would recommend this Corelle.
This is the best dinnerware set! It was a struggle to find a set of Corelle dishes that didn’t have the mugs with them. We have enough mugs! The service for 6 set is perfect. A few years ago my mother replaced her ceramic dishes with hideous plastic things because she’s too old to lift the heavy ceramics and put them away in the cupboard. She was thrilled when I gave her the Corelle set because now she can have a nice set of dinnerware that’s lightweight enough for her to put away herself.
