Elemuse Memory Foam Mattress Topper Kingsize Bed for Back

Just received this yesterday. We have a firm mattress which was needed because I have back issues. But I suffer from “dead hips” because our mattress is so firm. I searched through a lot of different mattress toppers and many many reviews. I am pleasantly surprised. This mattress is just what we needed. Our bed is firm enough for support but the topper makes it soft enough that I don’t end up with dead hips. It honestly feels like a cloud. It added about 2-3 inches of height on our bed. I will edit this review with pictures as soon as I can. The only negative I would say is it’s not quite 4″ but that is ok I think 4 would be too much & it definitely needs to be aired out (which we did) because of the chemical smell when you first open it. It goes away after airing out. Like I said night 1 was 5 stars like a snazzy hotel bed. But I will update once we get more use out of it. Definitely worth it, can’t beat the price either.

Absolutely fabulous! No foam smell. Fits under my deep pocket sheets. Wonderful upgrade for my old mattress. It’s like sleeping on a cloud. I didn’t think a mattress could feel this good after all these years.

my husband and myself have been waking up with insane back pain since we got a new bed frame, and a pillow topper seemed like the most affordable solution. Back pains not gone but significantly reduced. From an 8 to a 2. Sleeping through the night is also easier.

This is one of the best mattress covers I’ve ever bought. It’s super soft and plush. My mattress is already soft but with this added it’s like I’m sleeping on clouds!!!!!!!! One of the best purchases ever!!!!!

I didn’t realize how uncomfortable my mattress had become until I purchased this. Now I wake up without my back or shoulder hurting. It added a lot of height to my mattress but I have gotten used to it by now.

I needed to replace my topper and my first attempt was a fail. I purchased the Amazon recommended “cooling” gel foam and omg I thought menopause got early- I would wake up drenched in sweat and I am normally a cold sleeper and appreciate some warmth- so, after realizing how difficult it is to return a 4″ topper that has expanded out of its vacuum packing I hesitated- but no it was awful. So I sucked it up and spent $50 on supplies to re-vacuum pack and box up the heat demon. I then read toppler reviews like I was preparing my dissertation. I read and read- searched for the word HOT and uncomfortable etc. but to my surprise I was seeing all positives in the key areas. So I went for it. And LET ME TELL YOU- they were right. It’s the perfect marriage for soft and comfort without constricting your movement like the all foam ones can. The best best best part- it stays cool- like as if I was laying directly on a mattress- no more swear drenched nights- no, menopause didn’t come early!!! Also the gel foam one I had smelled awful- even though there are multiple reassurances printed all over the inserts saying “it’s safe to breathe”
Well it may be safe but it is horrible to smell. This one- no smell except for the sweet smell of success- because I will not be returning this one. My bed is luxurious- comfortable- cool- and perfect!

Has helped a great deal with easing back pain, & sleeping better.

It is comfortable but is not firm at all. More of a plush covering. I like that it has the soft pad made into the cover and is not separate. Fits my thick king size mattress perfectly. Has not really helped my hip and leg pain.

Take a 37-year-old mattress, add this foam topper + the cloud-like pad on top, then place an all cotton mattress pad on top of that, and then a nice fitted sheet, and you have a winner.

At first I thought this foam topper felt a little ” too hard” – but after a couple weeks, I can feel my body “slightly” molding to everything. There is no “dipping” down or sinking feeling, but rather it feels like there are some soft curves gently surrounding my body. I’m actually impressed.

I am glad I was patient for the topper “to break in” with my body type (5’7″ tall, 145 lbs. for reference). Otherwise, I may have returned it after the first few days (again, because it felt almost too firm) – but now, it’s just the perfect combination of firmness and softness.

With that said, I am still going to experiment and place my 5-star hotel featherbed on top of this topper, LOL, because I’ve always wanted one! (I actually ordered two different luxury featherbeds over the holiday and expect them any day now. I will experiment and try both for a few nights sleep each.)

It will be interesting to see if I even need or want a featherbed topper anymore. It actually won’t surprise me if neither featherbed adds anything substantial to my now sound sleeping experience, as they may end up being “too soft” or “too hard” – and I quite possibly will miss how my Elemuse foam topper/pad seems to be the perfect feel for my body now. If so, I will ditch and return the featherbeds. Either way, the Elemuse topper stays!

I’ll update and let you know. But I can attest right now, this foam topper is good on its own!! But please remember, sleep on it for at least a week or two, and let the foam “break-in.” ONLY THEN judge for your own body.

Finally, if you’re a “hot” sleeper like I am – see tip below:

NOTE TO THE MANUFACTURER: Regarding advertising your natural and breathable “Bamboo” cloud-like pad that goes on top of the foam – PLEASE mention the actual fabric content amount – i.e. 40% Bamboo (viscose) and the rest is polyester. I was led to believe this pad was 100% Bamboo, the way you advertise. I had no clue the majority was polyester until I read the tag. Fortunately, I purchased beforehand a 100% cotton mattress pad (with no polyester), that I placed on top or your bamboo/poly pad – and yes, I sleep cool, but only because of what I did. Consider making your pad with 100% Bamboo (viscose). But please be upfront with your description, that your pad has both bamboo AND poly (40% Bamboo, 60% poly.) And for hot sleepers like myself, just cover with an *all cotton* mattress pad, and you will be fine! I was going to take off a star, but I decided not to ding your company, as your product is quality 🙂

I don’t know why I waited so long to get a mattress topper – I’ve had ones in the past that were okay but didn’t make my bed nearly as soft as this one! I love it!

I recently started a desk job so I wasn’t moving around as much as before but I kept getting more and more stiff and sore. I finally had enough did some research and pulled the trigger on this product and after the first night I was convinced I would pay double the price for this relief I got. I went from being unable to bend over and touch my toes without bending my knees to being I guess realigned or whatever and much more limber and able to bend much easier.

Love this mattress pad. Got one for a friend of mine. We both sleeping comfy.

One morning (3 days ago) i woke up and said thats it im buying a new mattress and why not also get this , problem is now i dont wanna get up anymore its so plush and nice i looooove it , get it !

I bought this to use as a topper for my rock n roll bed in my camper. It’s very comfortable, had a great nights sleep. The detachable top cover is a great idea meaning you can chuck it in the washing machine.

We have a sleepnumber bed which is important for our backs but it is stiff and has no give for pressure points. This bed top made the bed perfect.

I opened it up expecting to have to wait like 24 or 48 hrs for it to re expand but it was back to normal instantly, so I was super happy about that! We put it on pur bed right away and we’re sitting in bed watching tv right now and we both love it, its so nice. It’s firm yet soft and squishy, the memory foam is real good quality it has no weird smell at all, I didn’t notice one what so ever neither did my bf. Also the elastic fitted padded topper that comes with it is really nice and soft and padded and the elastic pockets go so far down over the corners and really hold the foam in place, we love it. I gave 4 stars for pain relief cause instead of 5 only because I know my back pain isn’t gonna be that different just from that, it gets very sore regardless of mattresses and pillows, but everything else is 5 stars.

After using the product for sometime the pain relief could be felt.

This topper helped eliminate my back and hip pain so I could get a good night’s sleep.

My husband, who has back issues, was complaining about how uncomfortable our bed was getting. So I decided to start doing my research on mattress toppers. After comparing with others and reading the reviews, I decided to give it a go and try this one. Wow. Within 1 day, my hubby was raving about how much better he is sleeping because the bed is now much more comfortable. He doesn’t mention his back anymore and for some crazy reason, I’m not hearing him snore as much. Coincidence? I don’t really know, but who cares! I have to admit that I’m in love with this mattress topper too. When it arrived, it had no chemical smells and I did not wash it or just fluff in the dryer. I just put it on the bed and voila! It’s perfect for us!

Best ever topper.. I love it, I’ve gone from being an insomniac aching mess, to sleeping like the dead each night I highly recommend for anyone with spinal issues. I’ve had disc removal op and was struggling to even turn over.. However I also changed the bed from a wooden one to a divan but the topper has made a massive improvement to my sleeping.

I don’t know about easing pain, but it’s very comfortable, and that helps me sleep,so l am very happy with my buy…

From the first night, the difference has been amazing. It has been one week since it went on my bed as I have only woken one morning in pain whereas it was multiple times a night every night and every morning before. Definitely with a try before opting for a big expensive Emma (or similar) bed.

The topper certainly does add more softness to our memory foam mattress. My wife and I are both side sleepers, and our memory foam mattress is very good, but we were both still having to change position often due to hip pain. This topper has allowed my wife to sleep on her side all night without hip pain! I still am experiencing hip pain, though I’m able to lay on my side longer than before, but I weigh much more than her, so I’m pretty sure that is why. We plan on taking this with us when we stay in hotels, because we both experience severe hip and back pain from the conventional box spring mattresses most hotels use. Highly recommend, but must disclose that this will not help if you are heavy.

Really pleased with this memory foam topper. I chose this one due to the separate washable cover so no need for professional cleaning. The cover is very soft and well made, the foam itself is excellent really deep and matches the description.
I was pleasantly surprised as there was no real odour when opening the packaging as others have commented on other different brands. As recommended I left the topper for 24hrs before putting on the bed but to be honest the foam smoothed out extremely quickly. The fit was as expected and has made our bed amazingly comfortable!!
