No, Floodlight Camera records motion-activated events. Floodlight Camera has a longer detection range and supports a 10-second pre-buffer to ensure complete events are recorded.
How does the 10s pre-buffer work?
Floodlight Camera stores a rolling 10s of footage. When it detects an event, it starts recording and adds the previous 10 seconds to the beginning of the video.
Does the floodlight camera support activity zones?
Yes, Floodlight Camera supports up to 2 activity zones. Users can set activity zones to exclude unnecessary event alerts or record unnecessary footage.
Does the floodlight camera connect to eufyCam HomeBase?
No, Floodlight Camera is a standalone product that connects to users’ home Wi-Fi networks. We are planning to update this in the future.
Can the floodlight camera support data backup to eufyCam HomeBase?

Floodight Camera has 4GB local storage built-in for motion-triggered recordings. If 30 videos are recorded per day, and each recording is 1 minute long, the 4GB eMMC can store about 20 days of videos.

The lights are impressively bright .
I’m sure their are better systems but they are 5x the price, therefore at price point it’s exceptional value for money.
I will update after a few weeks of ownership
I got my electrician to fit it as it can be quite complicated with the wiring. The alarm is very loud and powerful too. Would recommend this product !
Very easy to set up this camera. Good quality picture and sound. The night vision does however pick up cobwebs that blow across it which can be annoying in the middle of the night when you think there’s a scary intruder!

It links to the app like all the other products and is reliable.
It is a little too sensitive I would say, and often goes off for something that is unnecessary.
The only issue I have is the lack of linkage to homebase 2, and now that Eufy have moved onto homebase 3 it seems we will never get this feature.
Picture quality is good. Detection is very impressive. It has stopped unwanted harassment! A BIG THUMBS UP EUFY It arrived early easy to pit up and connect. But check how strong your WIFI is from your router we had to use a booster due to very thick walls. Value for money Excellent!!!
Does what it says, its always powered so never need to keep an eye on any battery. Light brightness is adjustable but at lowest still fairly bright.
Excellent cam and lights,served me well at my previous house so did not hesitate to purchase again.
Only flaw with eufy is manoeuvre ability of the camera, great if pointing directly forward not so good if you have to aim directly left or directly right.
So easy to install, the whole experience was”Apple” product like

Bought this to replace an up/down light, installation and set up was easy, but more important the quality of the unit is amazing. Exceptional motion sensing, camera quality is fantastic and it records clips of activity without the need for a paid subscription. The settings and features (speak remotely through device, turning lights on/off via app, sound an alarm) add to the value
I purchased one of these while they were on sale. The picture quality is decent when up closs, anything past your drive and things get blurry.
The motion detection has been great for me to the point I had to turn off notifications, though strangely it never picks up my car as I back into the drive. The internal storage is large enough to store 200+ 30 second clips before it needs to be emptied.
Eufy have also been very helpful when my first camera came faulty and send me a brand new one no questions asked. Overall good product just don’t expect some sky net type camera.
Motion detection is far from perfect however picture quality is reasonable and night vision not horrendous. All in all for the price it’s handy to have
Good product, just wish 20mm conduit entry was possible. Had to install another junction box and run cable in mortar gap to the rear of Eufy supplied JB
Really quite easy to install and get running. Just need to wire it into an existing outdoor light power supply – even DIY novice like me managed.
Best feature is definitely *no subscription fee*. The app is good and easy to use, too.
The onboard AI (mine seems to think a magnolia tree is a person) and infrared night vision could be slightly better, but I’m being very critical to point this out.

I love this camera and brand. The app has plenty of settings so I can set the sensitivity to my needs. It detects people only or all movement. I get notifications instantly. Excellent speakers, alarm and the lighting is good. The lights can be adjusted to where you want the light. I feel very at ease. Eufy are amazing
