Full disclosure: I ordered these having selected the wrong option and thought that I was ordering 600mm versions – which I think would have been fair for the price.
These are OK overall, I like the slide mechanism on these as quick and sturdy adjustment. The actual clamping surfaces are quite small (compared to my other 300 x 85 clamps).
I think that these are expensive though, as above I thought I had ordered 600mm versions and the price seemed ok for those.
I will stick to my normal Rutlands ones that work out around 7 per clamp and they are much heavier weight that these ones.

I debated for some time reading reviews on this one, the thick rail version, the Amazon offerings, and the Jorgensen. All 12-inch F-clamps. The usual range of extreme reviews can be found on all. But the photos and comments suggested the Jorgensen and MaxPower had similar offerings and reviews (4.6 vs 4.4 out of 5), though the weight difference is noted in the specs. Then I got them out of the bag. Jorgensen is a nice inexpensive light duty clamp, a pair cost $33 today. I have already used it, and it’s fine. As soon as I got the MaxPower unpacked, I wish I had just bought the 4 of these. I am impressed. Unless I was doing something really demanding, I can’t imagine needing something something stronger. I plan to build a barn soon, and these clamps will be “the guy at the other end” as I assemble the roof trusses from stick lumber.

The clamps are working perfectly for my use. I have been building a pole frame building, mostly on my own, and have been using these clamps to hold 2 x 10’s in place while I am up & down ladders, etc. Also use to straighten crooked lumber where adjustability and clamp strength is essential. They have been very useful and are living up to expectations.
I use these clamps to hold steel pieces in place while welding. Large clamping capacity, sturdiness and ability to use either round notched or v-shaped swivel pads makes these clamps my favorites. Robust design with high clamping force keeps my projects aligned while welding. Very satisfied, I have purchased several of them. Well worth the price.
Je me sert de ces serres pour fabriquer des urnes , ils sont pratique, je m’en sert pour tenir les morceaux de bois ensemble avec une lgre pression et toutes les serres de 12 pouces et plus , sont trop massive et ceux l sont lgre et facile manipuler. Merci !

I love the great build of this product. Very sturdy and easy to use. Never have enough clamps and hands when doing a weld job.

Unfortunately I’ve not been able to use the clamps for their intended use as I’m still building my workshop. However I’ve used them to clamp onto the rafters to use as a swing storage for wood. They are holding some weight. Some of the boys are impressed by them.
Sometimes you just need a lot of clamps to do a job, and even though there may be better ones out there, they’re usually quite expensive. No matter how good one of the higher end clamps might be, they can only work in one place at a time. If you have a long workpiece, or a workpiece with several parts to clamp, then the only solution is to have a lot of clamps…and these are great for that kind of job!
So 25 is very good value. Mine came with spare plastic jaw covers – a nice touch as they do eventually wear down and crack.
A lot of clamps seem to be designed with fairly lightweight jobs in mind, such as craftwork or small woodworking projects, but not these.
Made of heavy stuff these are very strong and thus suitable for a great variety of heavier tasks. I plan to use these in the making of a new bedframe and canopy and will report back on their performance when that job is complete.
Perfect fir what I needed for light to medium fabricrcation. I’ll buy more them larger and smaller kinds.
For the money it would’ve been better to buy a beefier Stronghands F clamp of the same capacity but with a thicker beam measurement.
I like it it will do and help me to do lot of wood cutting. Recommend it !

Great clamps, these are similar to my other bessy clamps, but half the price. In fact i would same the same but without the label
These are very smooth and strong. Compared to a harbor freight version these are superior.

This is a welcome addition to my clamp collection. Well-made, and useful in certain applications where no ordinary shaped clamp will do.

a bit weird to put on or not that easy from one hand so you need to take you time to set it up but then when placed it is good
This is a heavy duty clamp. It’s too cumbersome for general clamping so I rarely use it. If you need something heavy duty then this would be great for you. Just know how you intend to use it before you buy.
I purchased the heavy duty clamp and this thing is a beast. Very solid, you can feel it in the weight. It clamps hard, best clamp I own!
These are super heavy duty welding clams! They are very well made ,too! I expect to get a lot of use out of them in the coming years.
I needed another clamp with some power. To test when I got, I clamped a 2×4 down with a spacer under it to see how this could flatten a twisted board. It put 3/8″ twist in it then the 2×4 split apart lengthwise.
Strong enough for me!
Works great for brake jobs surprisingly very strong although found it hard to use some times could use lock on slider or something slides out easy used it upside dow
So far so good. I am used to using the expensive betsey clamps at work. I could not afford to get them. I know buy once cry once. I think these clamps will work just fine and the price is right.
Great finish, smooth action, zero reason to pay almost double, for other popular name brands.
12″ length and 4-3/4″ throat works well for my application. Would have liked a shorter length but the throat openings went down to 3-1/8″. Could have purchased a pair of the Amazon Brand for $6 less but didn’t see that pop-up add until two days after the Maxpower clamps were delivered. Wish they offered protective pads that fit on their clamps since I’m using for clamping wood onto a drill press table and not for welding.
Just what I was looking for at a very reasonable price.
I use these for my welding table and they work great and hold the projects down nice and tight. I will be buying more of these to add to my workshop collection.
