Generally a good phone but needs to have a louder volume control as in areas with background noise hard to hear.
Replaced older Siemens phone with no problems taking over directory entries, calls list and answerphone messages. Very pleased with purchase so far.
Although the phone fits our requirements when we set it up a vertical black line has appeared on the display screen and we can’t seem to get rid of it. Has anyone had a similar problem?
My old Gigaset phones lasted for around 15years. One could not be re-registered with the base so bought a single phone and base unit. I was able to register the new phone and the remaining good old phone with the new base unit. This enabled me to copy my entire phone directory from the old phone to the new one, saving a lot of time as I didn’t have to enter each number individually.
Phone easy to use once you get used to the features. I didn’t want a phone with answering machine but liked the look of this phone. I asked the question on Amazon if the answering machine could be turned off. A reviewer said no or did not explain it very good. I went ahead and purchased the phone and Iare very happy with it. You can in fact have the answering machine on or off and it is quick and easy to switch between these options. I wear hearing aids and have had difficulty with previous phone in hearing some conversations. This is not the case with this phone. It has excellent sound quality.

Got a new internet provider that provided voice over internet protocol, so the ‘old’ base station looked stupid next to TV/router that everything plugged into. This set up is ideal. A simple ‘black box’ plugged in and out of site. 2 handsets that ‘talk’ to the black box that is also the answer machine. A great set up
Made the switch, because our new router insists on having the phone plugged into it.
So the base is behind the router and the phones in the kitchen. Sorted.
delivery arrived on time, item seem to working well, and seem to be sturdy, only one thing the volumn could be a bit loude
Comfortable to hold. Good to have in my workshop and seems to do normal quality Gigaset job.
