Good phone, but variable on range
Generally a good phone but needs to have a louder volume control as in areas with background noise hard to hear.
Amazing clarity and volume o sound
Replaced older Siemens phone with no problems taking over directory entries, calls list and answerphone messages. Very pleased with purchase so far.
Display screen issue
Although the phone fits our requirements when we set it up a vertical black line has appeared on the display screen and we can’t seem to get rid of it. Has anyone had a similar problem?
Like most people that are with firms that cut off their landlines and replaced it with a port in the back of the router, we were presented a problem. The existing phone is nowhere near the router and the solution offered by the media firm was to move the phone to the router… Under the stairs. With this DECT phone, just plug the box into the router then put the phone wherever you want, it’s that simple. Or you could rewire your phone line around your house but I reckon that might cost a tad more time and money.
A very good cordless phone
My old Gigaset phones lasted for around 15years. One could not be re-registered with the base so bought a single phone and base unit. I was able to register the new phone and the remaining good old phone with the new base unit. This enabled me to copy my entire phone directory from the old phone to the new one, saving a lot of time as I didn’t have to enter each number individually.
EXCELLENT QUALITY PHONE WITH LOTS OF FEATURES
Phone easy to use once you get used to the features. I didn’t want a phone with answering machine but liked the look of this phone. I asked the question on Amazon if the answering machine could be turned off. A reviewer said no or did not explain it very good. I went ahead and purchased the phone and Iare very happy with it. You can in fact have the answering machine on or off and it is quick and easy to switch between these options. I wear hearing aids and have had difficulty with previous phone in hearing some conversations. This is not the case with this phone. It has excellent sound quality.

Easy to set up and good system
Got a new internet provider that provided voice over internet protocol, so the ‘old’ base station looked stupid next to TV/router that everything plugged into. This set up is ideal. A simple ‘black box’ plugged in and out of site. 2 handsets that ‘talk’ to the black box that is also the answer machine. A great set up
Yes, it is robust, but easy to hold. I bought it for the quality of the sound (I had to send a different make back as the sound was painful!). It has good signal strength too. The only negative was not being able to transfer my phonebook in from my previous phone automatically.
Good with new style routers
Made the switch, because our new router insists on having the phone plugged into it.
So the base is behind the router and the phones in the kitchen. Sorted.
Purchased for my father who has poor hearing. The phone has a loud ring, vibrates and has a flashing light. He is very happy and also connected to his existing Panasonic DTEC phone setup.
Bought this phone to replace an 12 year old gigaset handset. It paired up with existing base and transferred existing phone book effortlessly. Sound quality is very clear with good range when in garden. Would have given it 5* if there was better choice of proper ring tones. Another + is the use of standard AAA batteries in handset.
I bought this for one of my offices. Phone is really good and clear. I would definitely recommend.

Comfortable to hold. Good to have in my workshop and seems to do normal quality Gigaset job.
These are great phones, clear, easy to use, large phone memory and virtually indestructible… perfect for my young family. The size is good so you can hold it under your chin if you need both hands free. Great battery life also.
