Audio Mixing

Simultaneous Bluetooth let you mix audio streams with either the lag-free wireless or wired connections with your smartphone device. With separate volume control over each audio stream, you can make a call or chat with your friends using a 3rd party app on your phone while fighting epic battles. iOS devices will not mix in calls with the dongle connection. Instead, the headset will route audio to your mobile device, and route it back again to game audio when call ends.

Dual-microphone design with detachable boom arm

Maximize the clarity of your in-game chat with noise canceling dual microphone technology. Remove the detachable boom arm when on-the-go and the secondary microphone located on the ear cup will be ready for action.

Lightweight adjustable fit

Find your perfect fit using the H3PRO Hybrid’s stainless steel headband slider and angled ear cups. Once you get it just right, use the headset’s click stops to lock in your preference.

Just to be aware, the software suite does not appear to work on Windows 11 – great sound out of the box tho

The EPOS H3PRO Hybrid is the premium wireless headphone I have always been looking for. Essentially, just think of it as the Steelseries Arctis Nova Pro Wireless but without the external DAC. After around 4 month of using this headphone, I can say that it has brought me immense satisfaction.

Everything about this headphone is just exactly perfect. Some people might say the volume wheel is trash but it just really adjust the volume based on each level of sound that can be offered to you by your laptop. If you didn’t get that, what I tried to say is that there is nothing wrong with the headphone.

For the ANC, it isn’t ridiculously powerful but it definitely makes an impact. When you turn the ANC on, your sound will sound more close to you (rather than more spatial without the ANC). This isn’t a downside by any means. It really is just a preference.

The only downside of this headphone and it isn’t a life changer either, is that you can’t pause, skip forward/backward with buttons on this headphone. I hope they roll out an update that allows you to do this on the headphone itself.

I bought this during a discount and I can say that I am extremely happy with it. It is still well worth your money if it doesn’t offer a discount though.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our Users+ lsst sich mit allem verbinden was audio ausgibt im wesentlichen

So this headset is NEARLY perfect and i’m putting that word nearly out there as it’s closest to the word perfect as i’ve gotten out of any headset i’ve used for gaming so far. the sound quality is on point instead of the volume getting turned down which most manufactures have been doing they can get painfully loud if turned up to much for some games but i’d still rather have that option then a max volume set to where i can’t hear anything like some other brands are doing i got a logitech the other day and i couldn’t hear well at all and it was primarily being used for work which was an issue not being able to hear someone talk on the other end at max volume. these i can hear everything! now why did i say it’s nearly pefect? the blue tooth is a great added feature but it never turns off so if your not charging the headset at night you go back to your headset dead, in addition to that when u have bluetooth and the donggle connected every now and then it will create a static sound and sometimes even cut the audio out on both settings when this happens ( it is a rarity this happens if at all but could be a firmware update needed that could fix it our something. other than that the software could use some updates as well with presets for the games from the devs that could be submitted for the game to improve hearing foot steps but with a simple google search you can find most devs recommended audio channel profiles for each game and set them up yourselves audio is loud and clear like i said and i 100% recommend these and beg that epos keep making newer iterations cause it’s only going to keep getting better with this product if they do and i’d be happy to test the latest and greatest or experimental products they are doing because the sound on these are the best i’ve gamed with so fa

Purchased after various reviews online as I hoped the mic quality would be decent for others but while maintaining a high quality sound for myself while gaming, music etc. I can’t fault it so far – battery life good, sound quality better than expected and mic quality over Discord others say is impressive given it’s a wireless (though I don’t use the EPOS software that you can download and use other compression / mixer software).

The ANC on it does the job – never hear the missus when she’s trying to get my attention!

A little pricey so knocked a star off but I can definitely tell the difference from my previous Corsair Void Pro’s that they’ve replaced and overall happy with the purchase (if not a little miffed it’s somewhat cheaper at time of review from purchase!).

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersI will first admit I am not a gamer but often have 6+ hours of meetings per day. I’ve been using a Corsair wireless gaming headset with a Windows laptop for the past 3+ years so that is my main basis of comparison. That poor headset is finally starting to fall apart from such heavy usage, so I was in search of a feature-rich replacement that can last at least an equal amount of time.

What I liked about that headset was that it had a flip-to-mute mic and large, comfy earpads that didn’t pinch my ears. It was way too big for my tiny head though, so my search focused on headsets that will fit smaller heads. This one absolutely fits the bill. It’s even a bit snug on me on the smallest setting! It is more snug to the head so if I tilt my head or look down it will not come off. It doesn’t pinch my glasses too much, but since these earpads are a little bit smaller than the Corsair, they are not particularly dangly-earring-friendly (ouch). I haven’t worn them 6 hours straight yet, but off and on throughout the day. No headache yet!

The features that this EPOS headset has, that the Corsair headset doesn’t have:
    – you can connect to your computer through the dongle or cord, and connect to your phone through bluetooth. This allows me to listen to music or videos while I work, but not use company VPN bandwidth doing so. Seems easy to manage switching back and forth.
    – the flip-to-mute boom mic is also completely removable, which is cool if I want to walk around my neighborhood with a headset on
    – it even has a second internal mic, which I haven’t tested yet.
    – battery life is super excellent. Could probably get through a few days of work without charging it. With the Corsair one I would always charge it overnight.
    – passive noise cancellation is pretty good, since these fit snugger than the Corsair ones. It’s pretty peaceful.

    Negatives:
    – the earpads are not as breathable. It might be worth getting an extra set so I can rotate them out and clean them. Kinda sweaty on hot days.
    – one other minor thing I miss is that the Corsair boom mic had a red light on it to let you know you are muted. This one cannot be hardware muted in the down position, you need to rely on hearing the click when you flip it up. Not a big deal as the flip-to-mute is what I wanted most.

My team says the sound is good on their end (through Zoom, Microsoft Teams). However, initially I had an issue with hearing my own voice through the headphone earpiece, which I DO NOT LIKE. I discovered this is known as side tone, which you can reduce or turn off using the software that goes with the headset (yay!). I don’t think these headphones will excite audiophiles, but the sound is clear and decent enough and the software has a lot of equalizers and noise cancelling settings you can play with.
