Ideal for Marshmallow evenings
I bought these for our Scout troop evenings where they toast marshmallows around the fire; I have to record these are great – they are a decent length so they can be held away from the flames and have the right sturdiness to not break or bend. A simple product but very useful and recommended.

These bamboo sticks are pretty good. 25 cm long, it is great for home made kebabs and marshmallows. 300 skewers can last for a lot of barbecue and kebabs. For 5, it is well worth the price. Recommended!
Good quality Skewers
Pack of 300 skewers can be used for various things.
I’m using to cook chicken in the oven/grill and air fryer. It’s perfect to marinate then later cook too.
They skewers are at a good price and I would be happy purchasing at.
Sturdy Skewers
These skewers are quiet sturdy and not at all flimsy so can be loaded with quiet a bit of food. They are all smooth – not splinters of wood on any that I’ve seen. They come in a thick resealable bag for convenience. Obviously soak them in water for a while before putting them on a bbq to stop them catching fire.
These are better than other wooden skewers I’ve had.

Alot of kebabs also good for crafts
These are nice, smooth and really quite sturdy.
I wanted them for flower arranging and crafting and they’re ideal. There’s so many of them I’m sure they’ll come in handy in the kitchen too.
I’ll be gluing Xmas baubles and pine cones to them and they can then be nestled amongst the flower arrangement.
Unfortunately the resealable package them came is was split and I nearly got covered in skewers.
Great Value, Consistent & Sturdy
Not a lot one can say about skewers.
* 300 in a pack – Yes I counted.
* None broken
* All consistently made (No shorter/longer ones & no chips, etc. in wood)
* Once soaked, they hold up well to intense heat.
* They’re sturdy enough – Add some chonky pieces of meat and they hold up fine once cooked.
Enough skewers to last the winter at a bargain price. Bad packaging as not tamperproof
The Mrs and I like to cook skewered meats and kebabs and they alway taste better when cooked on bamboo skewers.
This is a jumbo sized bag of them. They are pointed on one side and thick enough to support a hefty amount of food without flopping or snapping.
Because these are made from bamboo they are also sustainable, bio-degradable and a very environmentally friendly option.
The only thing i dislike is the packaging. This is going to be used for food prep. You are not going to wash each individual stick before use so i would expect the packaging to be sealed and tamper proof for hygiene and safety. Sadly this is not the case. Instead they chose a resalable packet, which can be opened and resealed without ripping the bag so i have no guarantee it hasn’t been tampered with.
As a result i am going to have to take extra precautions and make sure that any used are cleaned in soapy water and dipped in boiling water to sanitise them before use. It’s not the end of the world, just a safety step.
For the price these are a bargain. But if you are going to be cooking you will have to take precautions.

Get lots
These are quite good Bamboo skewers you get 300 in a pack reasonably sturdy ideal for making Kebabs can use for toasting marshmallows but with caution as only 250mm long ideal for summer barbecue’s easy to apply raw food content very good value for what you get also great for making a fruit Skewer would recommend
Sturdy - good length - very durable.
I use these for crafting rather than food serving and for that purpose they are excellent. Nice and strong but still a little bendy to resist being broken in half. Durable against snapping and well finished with little to no splitters.
At the time of writing a pack of 300 sticks costs 5.13 which given the quantity and quality is a fair cost. If you reuse sticks for crafting, you’ll no doubt get much longer use out of the whole pack. If you use them one time as kebab sticks, you’ll still get a fair amount.
Overall a very good product.
Just a tad too small
Good quality skewers at a reasonable price. They’re just a tad too small for me. The ones they’re replacing are about 5cm longer and we also have some metal skewers which are longer still.
They’re very strong and don’t break easily. I think you’d have to deliberately break them. They’re smooth too, so easy to slide food on and no chance of splinters breaking off.
They’re supplied in a handy grip seal bag to stop them emptying out in the cupboard.
Soak them in water first for about half an hour to stop them setting on fire!
Big Bag of Skewers
If you’re preparing a lot of shish kebabs, chocolate fountain skewers, satay or loads of burgers/sliders for a party or bbq you’ll need these – there are 300 so should cater for a sizeable party, working out to under 2p a skewer. They are packaged in a ziplock bag, therefore resealable for hygiene. In use they’re not the most sturdy of skewers – don’t overload them with too much meat, or large pieces of veg/fruit, but do the job fine if used sensibly.
This big bag should last me quite a few BBQs!
