First off, it looks exactly like the photo on Amazon, so no surprises. It’s clearly well made and the leather is thick and supple, with a great smell(!) It looks like it’ll last for years and years and years. Very happy.
This is a lovely quality product, with great quality soft leather, with a wonderful smell on opening the box. Liked very much the magnetic fastenings, meaning when in a hurry to open, as often am when in back to back meetings, the front can be promptly flipped open with no need to locate or fumble with fastenings. The product arrived in a quality box too, complete with a card thanking for the purchase, which I thought was a nice touch, and a notification that some of the funds raised from the purchase will be offered to charity. Sadly though, the leather was too well treated with oil, (darkened almost to saturation), meaning that when carried with the shoulder strap there is the possibility that light coloured clothing could be stained. As the shoulder strap will primarily be used in favour of the carry handle, the bag was returned.
Overall, excellent bag! Good quality and excellent for laptop! Not as sturdy as bags I have had in the past, but it gets the job done!

le cuir est assez fin, mais l’avantage est que la sacoche est trs lgre. Il faut voir comment elle tient sur la dure. En tout cas elle est idale pour le vlo et les compartiments permettent de transporter en toute scurit un ordinateur portable et diffrents documents et accessoires. Since I discovered Moonster, I haven’t looked back. If I find a new product of theirs, I’m on it. So far I have this bag, a journal and I’ve just ordered their Kindle cover.
The leather is first rate. I love the ethical background to each purchase and some of the recycled material used in other products. Anyway, onto the bag:
The bag’s magnetic clips offer a nice facade of buckles without the finicky business of having to undo them whenever you open the bag. There’s a zip inside anyway to protect valuables so it’s secure. All the pockets are spacious and well-made. Even the pen holders and diary/tablet pockets work perfectly.
If I had to name any downside, and these are so tiny, I would add a movable shoulder pad to to avoid the sturdy leather strap from cutting into the wearer’s shoulder. It’s only because the bag is spacious enough for many books or laptops/notepads and that weight be uncomfortable on one shoulder.
Overall, I can’t recommend the bag and the company enough. It’s a must buy and the bag will last you decades.

I love everything about it EXCEPT The magnet straps. They’re not bad straps, there’re of decent build quality but they won’t hold the bag closed at all if you actually have enough stuff to fill the bag (laptop, binder, accessories etc). You’ll snap it shut of course but if there’s enough stuff in the bag to create even a mild tension with the flap, then the first tiny jolt under the influence of gravity will pop it right open. It’s only effective if you don’t fill the bag very much. I’m considering gluing the magnet strap permanently and just using the leather in the buckle. This is not the creators problem. It’s just an opinion. The bag is overall a fantastic product and I look forward to many years of use.
I don’t usually bother writing Amazon reviews, but this bag has blown me away. It’s beautiful, practical and looks like it’s going to last for years. I only received 10 minutes ago so I can’t really attest to longevity. It smells lovely, is a nice colour and is lovely and soft. Can you tell? I love it!
My old laptop bag (Wenger) eventually gave up the ghost after many years of faithful service and I was about to buy another but a work colleague has a leather satchel kind of bag which I like so I thought I would investigate laptop bags in leather for a change. I came across this one with an extremely good write up and favourable reviews.

This thing oozes class. The workmanship is top notch and the smell……….wow!
There is enough room for my laptop (Microsoft Surface 12.45) and will certainly accommodate a larger laptop, my charger, mouse, diary, mobile and emergency charger, all in the main, split, compartment. Then there is another zipped pocket on the front and another on the back. There are also 2x pen holders & 2x pockets in the main compartment.
The buckles are magnetic and strong enough to stay closed, the handle looks to be solid and robust and the shoulder strap is comfortable.
I would definitely recommend this bag, so much so that I bought the pencil case to go with it that now stores my mouse and mobile WIFI dongle.
This bag lives up to its description. My MacBook Pro 16 fits perfectly, with plenty of room for a few extras. My only issue would be a few more designated slots for pens would be great and a pad or more interesting strap would be cool.
My husband took my super expensive 15″ MacBook Pro for work when his old 13″ needed replacement. He was carrying vertically in the too small bag and he is not careful with electronics. He runs restaurants and his truck is filled with tools and large equipment tossed in. I needed a bag that he would find cool enough to actually use, plus be hard to destroy and protect my laptop. It needed a handle and strap, plus a way to safely carry it when he was in a hurry and didn’t zip it closed. This bag is perfect and he loves it. Other people give him compliments which keeps him using it, too. The laptop fits, is reasonably padded, and he can carry it without zipping it in when he’s rushed. The strap doesn’t clip on, so I’m hoping that will reduce the chance of a clip breaking. If he scuffs the leather, it just looks more loved. I’m very happy and so is he.

I really like this bag except one thing. The button snaps on the front can be hard to snap once you strap the bag. Beautiful bag that will age with dignity and use.

I really like the full grain leather look on this bag. With time is going to create a beautiful used patina on the leather and its going to look even more beautiful. Right from the opening u can see that is quality made from the thick leather itself through the zippers, magnetic closure, adjustable strap . Inside it could fit a laptop up to 16inc. Everything is padded and it has a two open pockets, a laptop divided pocket, pen holder loops and two zip pockets from the outside. The rusted golden buckles really complimented the grain leather and make the bag looking beautiful. It has a lot of room to fit inside. I manage to put in (without looking overfilled )
MacBook Pro 13, MacBook Air 11, two chargers for the laptops, kindle oasis, apple trackpad ,
Apple magic keyboard, two sanddisk ssd drives, pens, notebook and all fit nice inside and didn’t look overfilled but it gain a little on weight so I wouldn’t carry it all day filled like that.
Stitching is well done and all the handle is well made and double attached to the bag to last a long time. The Adjustable strap is also made from thick leather also well secured on the bag making it comfortable and long-lasting. My only complain is for the adjustable strap. I wish it was detachable from the bag when not used and I could only use the handle. I don’t like when carrying the bag by the handle, the shoulder strap always moving around the bag. Not a big deal but sometimes it’s annoying. Beside this bag I also own the leather laptop sleeve ( made from the same company) which is also a great sleeve but without any extra pockets. Its just one laptop compartment and its made from the same thick leather. No handle no strap. Over all great bag and with usage is going to be even better.
For the craftsmanship on this bag I justify the price. Well worth it.
This is a present so fingers crossed it is liked, but saw him admiring a similar one. Stitching looks good and the leather durable but only time will tell on that one.

I bought this bag as a gift for my husband, and he was extremely pleased with it. It is made of pure leather indeed and with an excellent craftsmanship. Beautiful, strong and an excellent value for money.
Top notch. This is quality leather, no thin stuff that tears easily. The laptop compartment is padded, the rest of the bag has a sturdy brown cloth covering.
The bottom has no feet to keep the bag clean if you were to set it on the floor. While not a rigid bottom, the leather is thick enough to not bulge out. The entire bag feels rigid enough so that it won’t flop and wrap around my body even without a laptop in it. The flap closes with magnets only.
This will have been the last laptop/messenger bag I ever needed to buy, and I am very glad that I did. The workmanship is tops, no shortcuts anywhere.

Like the headline says, “It’s just what I was looking for!” And I looked A LOT!!! I wanted a nice rustic leather messenger bag and I looked at and read many, many reviews on leather messenger bags. I finally settled on this one and I’m so happy I did. So far I really just use it on the weekends, but I can through in snacks, water bottles, my iPad and other miscellaneous items and after 4 months of use, so far, it’s holding up well. Even when it’s stuffed I and kind of heavy, I can use the handle on top and the flap stays closed (I don’t have to use the should strap). I think that’s pretty telling that the magnetized metal buttons are strong. I have used leather conditioner on it a few times to darken and soften the leather. In summary, I really like it and I’m glad that I purchased it.
This is the 2nd item I have purchased from Moonster and both were quality! Traveling to job sites with this bag is perfect for carrying laptop, code books ECT.

Ordered this bag to keep all my writing material together. The bag arrived quickly. It seems to be very well made. It did have a leather smell when I first removed from the box but the odor has dissipated. The bag has several different pockets and spaces to store things. Even a padded pocket for your laptop or tablet. I always condition my leather items when I first receive them. It not only helps soften the leather. It helps condition the leather since it could have been in a hot truck for a while. I also like that it highlights the marks on the leather. I have a few more items from this seller in my wish list.
I adore my exquisite leather bag. There are ample storage spaces in the pockets and compartments. Very sturdy strap and it looks so good! Its pleasing to the eye and provides the functionality you need. I will be getting more of these to give as graduation gifts!

Was brought as a gift and the person was over the moon with it , time will tell how durable it is. It does look very well made and the leather feels soft but tough as well.
The laptop bag is definitely rustic in look and style as its shown, though the colour is light shaded than showed.
The bag workmanship is excellent, strong threading and no loose ends. The thickness is appropriate and is durable for a long term usage (useful for daily use) as it’s made of leather.
The size is 16*12*4 inch (l*w*d) big enough for upto 16inch laptops. The handle is robust as well as the adjustable straps which is not detachable. The chain asn zipper moves smoothly. The interior is.padded to protect the laptop against damage.
Fine storage space to store stationary items along with the laptop, easy to carry on the go. The outer main pocket can be closed via the magnetic poppers. Also comes with 2 external zipper pockets, 2 pen holder, 2 internal pockets and golden buckles.

Case is great design. Looks to be good quality. However, the leather is dried as if stored for years with no care. Will have to oil it and work it before I can actually use it. Overall for the price it is a good briefcase.

I’ve used this a number of times now for pencil, pen, watercolour and ink sketching – it is big enough to carry everything you might need without tempting you to cram in far too much equipment, also big enough for good sized sketchbooks and light snacks, though not for a flask
One small carp – the shoulder strap is not detachable, it is more comfortable to carry on your shoulder anyway though

The bag is leather, with handles and shoulder strap. The leather is a touch stiff and I’d prefer it to be a little softer and and supple, but it appears durable and the bag is large enough to carry a reasonably large laptop or tablet computer.
superb bag, it is great quality, I adore the look, it has a distressed leather vintage look & has plenty of space to hold my laptop, a few A5 notebooks, an A4 notepad, a few pens & still have room for more. This bag is just brilliant, I wore out to drop some groceries off to a neighbour & was stopped and asked twice where I got my new bag so directed them here, lovely feel to the leather, I will say it did have a strong scent when I first opened this & had to air it for the day but all sorted now.
Just wow, amazing bag. The leather is so soft can’t wait to see how is it going to look with more use. It does have space not only for a laptop but also for more accessories to carry. I’m 5’1 and even though the strap can’t be removed it does adjust to different heights not only does it suits me but also my husband’s height 5’9.
I realize that I bring my work items back and forth in a reusable bag and thought it was time to step it up. This bag is stunning and although I don’t have a laptop the layout is very spacious and accessible. I have received many compliments.
This bag is GREAT! I had originally ordered one of your leather journals, which I loved. I found this bag and decided to go ahead and order, and I’m so glad I did! I doesn’t weigh near as much as I thought it might, and it has great room and ways to organize so I can carry art supplies around with me (along with my journal! ). The shoulder strap is plenty long to use as a crossbody (and I’m tall). I can tell this piece will last forever and I’m very happy with it! Also, please make more journals – yours are fantastic!
I’m 40 and a lawyer so I figured it was time for me to ditch my old backpack from law school. This fit the bill on many points. First, the craftsmanship is superb. No scuffs or loose stitching. No defects at all that I can see. Second, it was wrapped and shipped beautifully which shows they care about the product and explains why it arrived in pristine condition. Third, its beautiful and suitable for any business meeting or courtroom appearance. I have a MacBook Air 13″ and it fit just fine and with room to spare. It should have no issue holding a 15 or 17″ laptop. Plenty of pockets for storing extras but not too many that will get lost in the bag. Absolutely zero issues with this bag. Solid recommend!
On opening i was hit by the leather smell first, the messenger bag comes in a nice pull string dust bag which is handy to have. The bag is unisex but personally i feel it’s more suited to male use. The size not including handles measures 17″ x 14″ so i would class it as an ample medium size. It has 2 detachable buckles on the outside that easily attach and detach by poppers and are also able to swivel all the way around, it can be used on the shoulder or across the body. You have a choice of either using the adjustable strap or the carry handle and both of these are attached by rivets.
The interior of the messenger bag is of generous and plentiful proportions with a nice lining, i have a laptop case which is 14″ x 10″ it fitted in no problem with plenty of room to spare. There are 3 zip compartments (front, back, top) and the zips worked well and operated smoothly. There are also 2 extra pockets inside, as well as 2 pen holders, the pens i used were quite chunky but they fitted in no problem and were held in securely (on-one wants leaking ink all over their bag). There is also a padded split section to help protect and keep your laptop safe from knocks and bumps. The bag does allow for easy access to your contents.
The reason i gave 4 stars was because the strap although being adjustable is not detachable, and also felt quite hard and rigid, this may soften over time however as leather often tends to do. The messenger bag would be ideal to take to work as it will hold all the essentials and more and would also be great for students as it will hold a plentiful amount of books.
I’ve shopped stores for some years for a chunky buffalo hide bag of this quality. I couldn’t bring myself to pay a couple hundred. This value is outstanding if you are familiar with the market.
First, absolutely no unsatisfactory odor. Second, this is a thick, well-tanned hide that ensures a delightful wear patina. Third, Brass zippers and details that support modern carry needs.
