Impressed by the brightness. The “manufacturer’s” name and address (in Dublin), and the importer’s name and address (in London), are both marked on the bulb itself – could this suggest their confidence in the quality? Also the words “Made in China”. The actual overall length of this bulb is 105mm, which tallies with the length given in the lower part of the technical description but which conflicts with the “11.2cm” (i.e.112mm) given in the upper part of the description. – A small difference, but maybe important to some. Package ordered yesterday and delivered today, so cannot yet comment on product reliability etc.
Multi pack is good value
Compared to individual bulbs in the shops, the value for these is amazing. Bought them for my elderly aunt who can’t get out much and is not tech savvy and she was very pleased.

Warm bright colour without the expensive running costs. We have these in the hall way, landing and 2 bedrooms never had an issue with them they should last years and years.

Bright but soft ligh
These are lovely and bright but it’s a nice soft light. Can’t comment on energy efficiency as I’ve only had them a couple of weeks and haven’t had a bill yet. However I am hoping that they are only using 1/10 of an old filament bulb. Can’t comment on the longevity either but am hoping they will last a very long time.

Warm light about 60w in old money
Wife did not like harsh white brightness of many LED bulbs so I bought these they are much warmer in colour so far they are working well.

Really impressed with these bulbs. Being equivalent to 60w I thought they might not be bright enough but they are really bright. They don’t get hot and good value.

Been running a good few months now with no issues. Light quality is good and comparable to the bulbs they replaced. Good value, can’t really comment on the longevity of them as they have not been in place long enough. As it stands would buy these again.

Brighter Than The Average Low Energy Bulbs
As quoted in previous reviews, these bulbs are quite bright. They give a bright white glow rather than the ordinary yellow glow.

I had been looking for bayonet light bulbs. I thought energy efficient ones would be darker or start off dull. Theses are brilliant. Bright as soon and you turn the light on.

Easier to change due to its proper lightbulb shape, unlike other energy bulbs that if held wrongly they break. Will order again when I need to.
Having just moved into a new old house I decided to replace the standard 60 watts light bulbs with these. Wow they were a lot brighter and somehow cleaner light. Even after leaving the light on for several hours I touch the globe and it was room temperature 🙂
I would give it 5 stars but right now I don’t know the life span of these.

Brilliant brightness and energy efficiency

Bought these as replacements for some tear drop shaped energy saving bulbs that had gone out. I was surprised by their size, as they are similar to the standard light bulbs you used to buy before energy savers became all the rage. My previous bulbs gave out a decent amount of light, not to bright and perfect for my needs. These new bulbs are certainly a lot brighter and took a bit of getting used to after the previous ones. So be aware if you are looking for a soft warm light effect, as these are not what I would deem a soft light.
They are marginally bigger than anticipated, and although they will work/fit well into several of our table lamps, they are too bulky for our three bulb ceiling lights. BUT, they are so far working very well. Unfortunately, I have so far been disappointed with all the LED bulbs I have bought over the last couple of years, with several only lasting for a few weeks or months. Reliability does seem to be an inherent problem with them and only time will tell as far as this latest batch is concerned.
These give a nice warm light, and the shape of the globe part means that plenty of light is cast downwards when in a table lamp so they look good, some bulbs only shine upwards.
They also pass my flicker test – wave your fingers back and forth in front of the light. Cheap bulbs will yield a strobing flickering effect when you do this, better bulbs with smoothing circuitry will show a smooth movement. If you are not sensitive to flicker then this won’t bother you, but I am.
Product does what it says. Good energy saving lightbulbs. Only had them for a short time so can’t speak for longevity but they replaced Poundland standard bulbs which had energy rating of E. Their brightness & warmth match or exceed those blubs so overall happy.
With 8 in the box, it was a good cost effective purchase. Very happy!

Rated to compare with a 60 watt incandescent bulb but I would say it’s more like 100 watts in brightness and it’s immediate to come on. I paid a little less than its currently showing but it’s still good value
