Nice looking ligh
I bought this to replace the same light, which I installed about 3 years ago. I had to replace it because the original started to rust on the hinged “arm”. I’m hoping it was just a fault with the first light, but if this one does the same then I’ll have to conclude the design is not fit for purpose. As others have said, the wiring inside is protected with some silicon sealant, although I don’t see that as a huge issue. In terms of performance, the light works as you’d expect – depends on the bulb, obviously. It’s easy to fit – couple of holes in the wall and connection of wires into connector blocks. Happy with the purchase, but time will tell whether it lasts!
Good quality produc
Looks good, supplies me with mood lighting I require, cannot be installed on brick wall without drilling a hole for cable, it could be mounted on a standoff bracket allowing access to cable entry hole on base plate, but I couldn’t find one.

Am not a qualified electrician but found this light east to wire up and install. The bulb is set back in the housing but the light’s warmth and spread is good. I installed it under a deck by our pond, see photo. Good value for money imho and good ole Prime delivered nice and quick

Just what we wanted
We bought this light to replace a spotlight outside and above the door of our lodge that didn’t really give us enough light. Works brilliantly to aim the light where we want it so we have bought 4 more to replace the rest of them.

Nice little spot lamps
Just installed these on my garage wall above the hot tub and they look good. Haven’t installed the bulbs yet cause I had to order these separately, but when they arrive, I am sure they are going to do the job. Nice little unit and fully adjustable tilt and swing.

Beautifully constructed, well engineered and attractive in its’ setting. All the parts are accessible for easy mounting, and the easily unscrewable cowl makes bulb changing a cinch. A good buy.

Great light with hue
The lights are good, I think I would prefer the spot light to be closer to the glass to spread the light out a bit wider. I’m no expert but I am assuming this would happen if the LED was sitting closer to the front glass. The lights are well price and worth the money spent. Best of all they fit the Philips hue smart spots. I got the new Bluetooth ones in there. I don’t know if the other spots are the same size or fit, but these work great.
The image attached shows the fit. I don’t know if there needs to be a certain space around the sides of the bulbs for heat but I got them up and running. There is a tiny space Between the build and the sides.
I’m so happy doing it this way because I saved loads of money compared to buying the all in one Philips hue garden spot lights. Although they do look really nice too.
