To say I am excited about this product is an understatement. I’ve been doing my own dipped nails at home for over three years now, and have had problems with allergies from time to time, because of the dust generated when I use my drill. Though I haven’t tested this on a full dip manicure yet, I performed a trial run tonight with a hot pink, glittery dip. I set paper towels down under the unit so that I could clearly see how much went into the fan and how much still landed on the paper towels. The paper towels were almost completely clean after the test run! I pulled out the filter and could see lots of hot pink powder. So, I’m optimistic that it will do the job well!
On top of all that, this unit seems very impressive. It came in a large black, very study custom box that I plan to keep it stored in. This dust collector will improve my nail game for sure!
I do my nails weekly and I happy to add this dust collector to my supplies. It has a filter and it’s easy to clean!

I am a nail technician and our clients come in for dipping nails. This machine helps suck in most of the excess powders while dipping and smoothing out the nails. My station is so much cleaner since I got this!
I’ve been use it on couole client and it work’s amazing. It did a good job on sucking the dust!, and lastly if you worry about the noise, I would say it’s really not loud at all (depending on the level you use ) compare other dust collectors that I had. They even give you two filter! So go check it out guys!

Works like a charm. My wife does a lot of at home beautician stuff and I thought this would be a great gift for her. She has a nail sander and it always gets debris everywhere. Dealing with dust from nail is really hard since they are small and flying everywhere. Masks alone can’t keep them go inside your clothes and even your mouth and nose. This helps a lot at the end of the day, I see a lot less dust particle when cleaning up, it seems to work pretty well without failing. Protect yourself
The seller contacted me and sent a brand new unit to replace the problematic one. Great customer service. So far the new one is working great.
Initially it worked great but after 2 months it’s not holding a charge! Have to have it plugged in to be able to use it as charging even overnight will no stay charged more than a few minutes. Yes I charge it and press the on button (not the fan button) overall not happy with this item!

This product works wonders. I started doing my own nails recently and all that filing left nail dust everywhere. Now that I have this, I don’t have that problem anymore. It collects the nail dust as you work. Of course there still going to be some nail dust on your work area of shirt but definitely not as much. It’s lightweight and easy to move on and off your work area. It has different vacuum settings. It also has low noise, the lower the vacuum setting the lower the noise and the higher the vacuum setting the more noise but overall not too noisy. You can still hold a conversation without having to shout or watching tv without having to increase the volume. I definitely recommend this product.

The machine needs more holes at the section where the logo is since many clients have longer hands/fingers. Less holes near the hand rest would be fine.
The hand rest material is too sticky and dust will collect there too. Maybe replace with leather or something else less sticky.
Overall, it’s a very good dust collector and I still use it now. If these improvements could be taken into consideration, this collector would be perfect.
I usually run it on medium or high , isn’t as loud as some of the older corded models. Can drill off about 7 ish client before I have to set it to charge so 8 hour run time is a bit off ( I’m guessing it’s 8 hours on low speed) . The plastic seems acetone resistant but I don’t bother to ruin mine in the process of seeing if it is. Cuts down on the airborne dust quite a bit, so keeps me and the clients happy. Would highly recommend this product if you value you or your clients lungs
It is really good to suction the dust from nails. I’ve boughts for months and it is still working well. Especially, it is rechargeable, so convenient!

Seems to be pretty powerful. And built with good quality. Overall satisfied!
So far so good, I’ve used it a couple times now. Not the cheapest but not the most expensive. Packaging is great it comes in a very nice storage box that looks like it should last. I’ve used it for my nails and plan on using it when I’m sanding polymer clay projects too. Suction is good even on low and medium. Filter is easy to remove and shake off.

Works great for small dust particles. The air blowing out kind of diverts dust a little so not all goes in the filter so design could use a little tweak. But over all is perfect fir work as a professional and pricing is great. Also acetone resistant.
Compared to high end brands I would still buy this one. Don’t believe a $300 price tag for a name stamped on it will do much better.
I haven’t use it much . Only once , I let someone borrow put some liquid on it . It still worked but I just haven’t had time. . Once I use it I will do an update

I LOVE this product! I used to have to go outside to file off product of my nails because the dust would get everywhere and I’d have to change my clothes. I got my nails done recently and my nail tech used this and I got no dust on myself or on my phone sitting on the table! Immediately bought and it’s incredible. Works perfectly with and without the cord. Battery last well and suction is good. Well worth the money for beginners and pros. The cordless feature allows you to use it on the go or if you just want to pamper your friends. Charger wile is also compatible with the L’UGX nail drill both portable with good battery between chargers.
I have started doing acrylic nail service as an addition to my mobile beauty therapy business. I have managed without this product up until now but speaking to a few of my friends and colleagues in the trade, they have advised me to get one and give it a try. If you are doing a set of nails once a day or every other day, it quickly pays for itself. There is nothing to lose as you are able to return for refund if you don’t find it useful. Personally, after trying it on my mum and a few friends as a trial I am impressed with it. It definitely helps with creating a more professional environment and reduces mess. Glad I took to chance with this product.
I bought this to be able to use during clean up of 3D prints, as I use a nail grinder to take off some of the excess stringing or other misprint pods I thought it would only be appropriate that I could use a nail dust collector in order to keep my work surface is clean.
This unit comes basically as a sort of table or be it small which you can place the model on top and use the nail grinder straight onto the model meaning that any residue is pulled straight into the platform and into the filters. These filters are easy to clean as they just slot out and can be blown through if needed or just brushed off I tend to do both in order to make sure that they are properly clean.
It does run on mines so needs to have a nearby socket in order to make it run however it’s reasonably low powered which means that it’s quiet so I won’t bother you whilst working.

I absolutely love this thing! I tried this just to see if it would make a difference after contemplating purchasing a professional name-brand one. I’m glad I did. This little machine is great it catches most of the dust from gel polish removal and acrylic shortening and rebalancing. Also, I am not completely covered in dust anymore. I really like this and feel it was worth what it costs. This is a great deal. It kept all of the dust out of my face. I’m a nail tech and I approve this machine!
This nail dust remover works extremely well and helps to get all the dust that builds up behind your nails especially if you use nail polish or if you regularly smooth your nails using a nail file. The suction strength is easy to adjust so you’ll find a setting that works for you and the machine is fairly quiet in operation so this works as advertised.
I actually didn’t know this was wireless until I came to write this review, so that’s a bonus. I’ve been using it plugged in. Works well and SO nicely made. The packaging made me feel like a professional. This definitely cuts down on fumes from filing and painting. Helps keep the smell light especially since I do this at home around my kids. Gift wise, the Lugx packing is fantastic and fancy. Not to overshare, but I have to use my foot callus roller outdoors because the dust that comes off is tremendous. I was hoping that with this Lugx Collector I could do my feet indoors like a regular person. It seems like the unit exhausts more than it intakes, however, it does work to an extent. It didn’t catch every single speck but it does enough that I no longer have to depend on daylight and good weather to do my feet. The sound it makes isn’t too bad, but it’s better on the highest setting. With the low and medium options you can hear a high pitch whine behind them.
My wife loves doing her own nails and putting together her own designs. As soon as I gave this to her she was stripping off her week old nails with it and starting over. the motor itself is rather quiet and barely audible with normal ambient noise. But once it’s hitting nail or paint you’ll hear the normal grinding sound. I’d say it’s less than a quarter of the noise my drimel and other rotary tools make so pretty happy with that.
It has a dial for speed control and the on/off is more an On forward rotation/ Off /On reverse rotation. This way you can control the rotation based on left/right grip and direction you want the debris to go.
I’d say it is well worth the money and make a wonderful gift for anyone in your gifting circle that likes to do their nails or I may even try it out with my rotary tools and see if it would make a good option for my uses there. If I can get it away from my wife.

If like me you do acrylic nails properly I use an automated drill machine to grind originals nails down for best results.
This is messy and not a great impression on home visits, this extractor vacuum sucks up all the nail dust caused by automated filing using drill.
Very strong fans which are quiet so don’t disturb treatment, excellent rechargeable battery life that remains charged fully throughout a whole day and multiple visits.
Overall, home visits should be saloon standard. this dust collector is better than anything I have seen in the saloon. Small, compact and lightweight perfect for transportation.

Dust collector has four powerful fans and removable filter that can be easily clean.
It works wired and wireless. Battery is very officiant and fully charged can work for up to 8 hours. 3 suction levels can be easily changed by buttons on the front and adjust to your needs while working.
It may feel pricy but in my opinion it is good investment when you do home nails. It is quiet, powerful and wireless. Im very happy with this product.

I am really impressed with the performance of this little device as it works beyond my expectation.
Although the power adapter is three pin, twin wired and not fused. When charging / running the extracter the plug tends to heat up a little more than a laptop adapter. Due to this I would not advise this product is left to charge unsupervised and that is why it lost that one star.
Setting the adapter aside, this is a well made product that does a good job of what it is designed to do. It has three power settings and is relatively quite when in operation, even on it’s highest setting.
The way this works is simple enough, it uses four fans to draw in with the air passing through a filter that traps dust particles with clean air being blown out. It is identicle to an air purifier but smaller and more portable but won’t filter the finest of particles like high range purifiers do.
It is an ideal product for keeping dust levels down when grinding, drilling, polishing nails.
As it is rechargeable it can be used anywhere so it is convenient and the 100w of energy used to run this is economical.
This is so easy to use as it is simply a power button to turn on and off and three buttons for the power levels.
I am recommending this dust extracter as it is good quality, well built, quite powerful and good value but as I stated at the beginning of this review, do not leavfe this plugged in unattended as the adapter does get a little too warm.
This 70-watt nail dust collector comes presented in a posh and luxury looking large box. The box opens up to a nice glossy good quality looking nail dust collector machine. The unit is made from high-quality plastics and has a little weight to which gives off a feeling of a somewhat premium product.
The nail dust filter is reusable and you can source them easily and cheaply. You get a nice quality ail dust duster brush included.
The compact power supply charger has a decent length of cable suitable for a table close by to a socket. The fan noise at the time of testing sounds a tad noisy even on the low setting, but bearing in mind it’s early hours and silent during these hours.
During the day in a nail bar, the noise should be acceptable amongst all the other daytime sounds. If it should sound quite noisy at high speed in a nail shop, the person having their nails done may have to listen to it for a while as they get their nails done. I’d probably be wearing earphones and listening to some music.
The fan on high power does feel adequately powerful enough to draw fine nail dust. You can see in my gallery video the suction power of the nail dust collector sucking the smoke.
Using smoke, you can see that the suction zone is like a tornado and concentrates mostly at one zone, because of its single giant fan design. If the unit had 4 independent fans, then it would have a wider range of dust suction zone but smaller fans won’t have the power of a large one. So I know why they use a single one and design and build working to their unit costs.
The machine worked well and folks can rest their wrists on the removable silicone wrist rest which is also easy to wash and reuse.
This unit once charged will last quite a while and depending on how you use it. In a professional setting, you may wish to have it plugged into the mains.
My wife who does nails at home is happy with this unit and so am I.
Value-wise, I feel it is priced way too high and expensive because I have experience in similar products and pricing. If it was this price because of a superior and more powerful silent fan motor system, then I could understand, especially at the price they are listed at.
I am still happy with its performance and have awarded this product the ratings I feel it accurately deserves.
This is definitely a professional quality machine. The motor base is very heavy. It is a compact size if you’re looking for something mobile. But it has a very strong motor to it. The controls are easy to use. The hand held drill piece is on the heavier side. For me it’s a little bit too heavy for use for a longer period of time. If I’m using it for several hours definitely my arm would fatigue with this.
One thing that I was disappointed about was the footpedal. It is so light weight and plasticky. I feel like this is not going to last at all. No based on the quality of the unit I would’ve expected something better for the pedal.
The box measures approx 30cm x 31cm x 10cm.
Inside the machine is set into a velvet topped foam casing so it is well protected while in transit.
It also comes with a small brush for dusting off any particles which land on the machine rather than being trapped in the filter.
There is a charger cable with a standard 3 pin plug & a small instruction book.
The filter measures 17.5cm x 17.5cm x 1.5cm & looks interchangeable with a number of other filters I have seen of the same design.
Once fully charged I used it for over an hour with no noticeable loss of power without it being plugged in so although I wouldn’t intentionally take it somewhere without the lead, you can still use it which makes it super portable.
It doesn’t seem particularly strong but in use it did get most of the dust I created as long as I was pretty close to the machine, so best used with the hand stretched over it rather than held higher up.
The filter was easy to remove & clean off to use again.
It’s noisier than I would like in use, but I found the sound of a nail drill sanding polish drowned it out completely.
It has very simple & easy to use controls.
There is a big on/off button, then 3 smaller buttons for Low Medium & High suction.
If you hit the Low button, then press the low button again it will turn off.
If you hit the Medium button after hitting the Low button the first time, it will change to Medium power & so on.
Hit the On/Off button & it will turn off whichever level you are using.
I just used it on high.
The suction area is approx 14cm x 14cm.
I found it to be plenty of space if the palm is placed on the rest for even rather long nails on people with long fingers.
The machine itself is 27cm from back to front (hand rest to power buttons.) 19cm across (so I found it would fit spread fingers quite well not including the thumb) & is 8cm high at the hand rest, 5cm high for the rest of the machine.
There is a power indicator on the front beside the buttons so you know how much charge you have left – 3 lights for full charge, 2 for 2/3 & 1 for 1/3.
The hand rest is a bit rubbish – it’s a shaped hard plastic bit with a rubbery cover over it.
The cover falls off very easily when moving the machine about & it’s made of something that has a slightly sticky feel to it so every bit of fluff in a 20 mile radius will queue up to try & take up permanent residence there.
Other than the hand rest cover I really liked this machine.
It’s easy to use, really nicely presented, I love the rechargeable aspect so you can use it in places where you are short of outlets & it does the job.
I’m not convinced it does twice as good a job as a half the price machine, but it is a nice bit of kit.

This arrives in a beautifully presented box. I was impressed when I opened the box. The unit itself is a good size and robustly made. And the power cable is decent, and brush is good too. It has three suction settings, I used medium for my first use, and it performed well. You don’t realise how well it is doing until you empty it, then you appreciate the difference it makes, so much nail dust that would not only make a mess if it were not collected but would also pose a health risk with it in the air as it contained old nail get particles too. Emptying the filter is easy, just pull it out at the side, tap it and brush. I like that I am not tied to a power outlet, a charge lasts for ages. It contains 4 fans, so it isn’t silent, on high speed it is a little noisy but once my music is on it’s fine. The silicon wrist rest is removable to wash, and the unit is wipeable. It isn’t the cheapest but it works well.
Once charged it has different levels of suction which can be controlled by the buttons on the front. It doesn’t come with a remote control as suggested in some of the product photos.
The unit isn’t very noisy when working compared with some of the units I’ve seen in some salons and it’s pretty unobtrusive even though it’s quite big.
The only real downside for me is the price as it’s currently over 100 and it seems that you can get rechargeable units with similar functionality for less than half that price.
When this arrived I was very impressed with the unit before I’d even opened the box, the box adds an air of luxury to the unit and with its smooth opening you feel you’ve spent your money on quality as you look inside. This nail dust collector gives a really nice platform to work on. The rubber pad adds a little bit of comfort and the fans seem to do a good job of keeping the dust where it belongs. You don’t feel much air flow but once you start work on the nails you can tell it’s doing it’s job, best thing is it’s not overly noisy. There are 3 speed settings which make it good for smaller or larger operations. Very happy with this device.

As someone who uses various nail products such as gel, acrylic, tips, builder gel, and various nail colours.
I am constantly filing off the old product and replacing it.
Anyone who uses an electric nail file will know how much dust can be created.
So I was excited to test out the L’ugx rechargeable nail dust collector.
It worked like a dream, there are 4 fans built into the underside of the unit, you receive the filter to catch the nail dust which is easy to remove and empty.
When In use the unit is so quiet even on the highest setting.
I used an e file to remove both colour gel and builder gel, all the dust was collected in the filter,any dust that was on the machine was wiped away with the provided brush.
This machine is well worth the price asked for it and would be suitable for an amateur like me or a professional nail technician.

For the price, it’s not bad but the fan strength is mediocre. It’s pretty loud for a fan that doesn’t do much suction. I’d think if I put my hand against the vent, I’d feel some suction pressure. Nope nothing, it’s very light so again it’s decent especially for the price. Wish it was wireless as well because the cord is pretty sho
