I Love this fountain, it works perfectly, and it’s looks so lovely I would have given it five stars but the electric cable could do with being longer, but hopefully we will sort that problem with an extension cable.

I am really happy with this fountain!
Set up in the garden was really easy just feed the pump hose down the pipe and slot the sections together! Being fibre glass it’s really easy to move/lift.
It provides a lovely background trickle in the garden and sounds so relaxing! The only issue we have is stopping the cats drinking all the water out of i

The fountain when assembled looks reasonable, however trying to level the feature so that the water runs equally from all tiers is difficult.
When the water seems to be running ok the whole fountain looks wonky, in the end there had to be a compromise between the water running level or the fountain looking upright
With a little more care in manufacture where the base and section mating joints are levelled off a little more evenly the fountain would be worth at least a 4.5 star rating

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersI love water features, and we used to have a natural fountain at my parent’s house and I enjoyed sitting and listening to the trickling of the water. This looked quite fancy for our garden so I wasn’t sure it would suit it, but even though it’s quite “posh”, I do really like it.

    Pros:
    * Easy to put together, and supplied with a very small pump
    * Classy design with a sort of “Greek-like” pillar top
    * Doesn’t need mains water, just fill once and top up as required
    * Lightweight and easy to move, but water weighs it down so it doesn’t fall over in the wind

    Cons:
    * Some loose resin material on the interior when building, so be mindful when building it
    * Only get about 1.5 metres of wire – it’s definitely not 5 metres as advertised. We weren’t sure how to extend it as it has an odd connector so we have had to use an extension lead

I was surprised at how easy the fountain was to build: it was just a case of feeding through the wire and water pipes and you just slot the different parts together and twist them into place.

I was a little dubious at first as each part is very, very light, so I was worried about how durable this would be and whether it would stand up well in the wind. But once built it is steady and has been designed in a way so that the weight is distributed evenly.

Bear in mind, obviously, it needs to be on a level surface for the water to trickle out appropriately at all edges. If you set it up properly, it won’t tilt and the water will evenly fall from the edges.

Being resin is great for keeping it weatherproof and hopefully it will maintain its’ colour over time, but I did find that some of the internal sections had some loose materials that were quite sharp as we were putting it together so it’s best to be careful when building it.

The fountain works so that you just pour the water in and then switch the pump on. The pump is so little, it doesn’t use up much power and sits out of sight inside the first level of the basin. It works very efficiently too and silently so you don’t hear any mechanics working.

When switched on, it really is very pretty – like something out of The Sims! The water doesn’t run too quickly and it’s very therapeutic to have on in the garden or when we’re sat in our conservatory.

We have the fountain powered with an extension lead from our conservatory as the wire is too short to reach our outdoor power sockets plus we want to control it from indoors. The wire is only about 1.5m, with about 1.1m of actual usable wire, and we are unsure how to extend it – so unfortunately this seems to be incorrect on the listing and definitely isn’t long enough for an outdoor electrical item.

We don’t leave it running all the time but do leave water in it for the birds to bathe in.

Overall, I’d say this fountain is super classy with a gorgeous design that will definitely stand out in your garden. The type of resin it’s made if should hopefully keep it safe during Summer and Winter, and generally it’s a very lovely addition to the garden. Time will tell whether it stands the test of time, but in UK Winter after about a month outside it’s still looking good as new.

It doesn’t use loads of power due to the tiny pump and the fountain function itself is definitely relaxing with the three tier falling water and works seamlessly. It would get top marks if it weren’t for the few cons – particularly the wire length. But it is a beautiful outdoor fountain.

Gorgeous, therapeutic fountain, but wire isn't 5m
