I had one before but not Meaco, so quiet and very cost effective…..never worry about whether or not you can do the washing, with a Meaco its all year round …..just need to get someone to iron it !!
Cost effective
We run a large guest house and have a big family – so I do a lot of washing. This machine can easily dry several loads of washing hanging in our small laundry room within 18hrs. Well worth the investment.

This Dehumidifier is simply the Best, was wary buying asprice was 149. I’m so delighted that I did ,Great to have washing dried consistently since buying 5 months ago. Excellent. And switches of when large water reservoir is Full. Can’t recommend enough

Works well on timer and pulls a great deal of water as required.
Noise of fan acceptable as it is normally in hallway. No more black marks since I started using it.

Great dehumidifier. We have this and the larger 20l one as well.
Unfortunately ours developed a fault after a year. Amazon were rubbish at helping, but I contacted Meaco directly and they quickly arranged a repair. It didn’t fix the problem so they send a brand new one out as it was within the 2 year warranty. Very impressive customer service department!
Worth the price
Clean sleek look doesnt look out of place even in my old cottage. Very easy to use and only took a couple of minutes to read instructions. It started drying out my walls after just one hour. Seems to be very energy efficient so i dont worry about leaving it on.

A great little dehumidifier. I have it in my bedroom andbon the low setting it doesnt disturb my sleep. The bedroom has large windows that were always wet through with condensation, this no longer occurs.
It is quite heavy and doesnt have castors so its not made for moving about constantly. But all in all, its a great bit of kit.
Dries laundry and makes house heat quicke
I’ve never used a dehumidifier before now and I’m completely converted. My house used to always be pushing 70% humidity and laundry took an age to dry. This lets me dry clothes overnight without any damp smells and also heating seems to warm the house more quickly.
Damp Remove
Moved to an older property last year and had a problem with damp in the Dining Room. Have used the De Humidifier for several weeks and it has dramatically improved the problem of condensation and damp. Would highly recommend if you suffer from this common problem.
Takes up a lot of moisture
Amazed at how much moisture this took up considering our flat isn’t damp but we were worried about condensation. Used to help dry laundry and it worked reasonably well but thought it might do better.
Not overly noisy but considering the work it’s doing it was as loud as expected.
Currently on loan to a friend for her very damp flat and she is thrilled with the results.
A bit cumbersome to carry but not massively heavy.

Bought this for my 2 bedroom flat that was feeling cold and a little musty. Immediately it started pulling out litres of water and the flat feels so much warmer when the heating is on. Doesn’t cost much to run, it’s fairly heavy, but its an awesome machine. Perfect for anyone drying their clothes inside, would recommend.
A good purchase.
Easy to set up and extracts moisture vert quickly. Loft windows that were covered in condensation are now bone dry – the reason for purchase. The noise level is noticeable but not intrusive. Overall very pleased.
Meaco does another home ru
Was really pleased with their fans so thought I’d go with the same Meaco brand for a dehumidifier. Sucks up the moisture in my laundry room during winter to great affect. It’s not a silver bullet to laundry during british winters but it certainly brings drying down from 4+ to 2 days (coupled with a bit of central heating).

Can’t said it is super quiet but the sound it made wont let me feel annoying. Led displays the humidity level is great! – not all brand will have this function. It turns the humidity level from 89 (bathroom) to 65 within a hour. So impressed !!
Just one thing that can do better – it doesn’t come with castors, I need to purchase separately from Meaco website cost 19.99
Excellent, works as expected
I purchased this recently and I have been impressed by the quality of this product. The big plus for me is it only costs a few pennies per hour to operate. My room had a lot of damp and this was needed. The dehumidifier is performing excellently, effectively decreasing the humidity from around 70% to 55% and extracting significant amounts of water.
As an added bonus I am able to dry my swimming shorts very easily in the room too, this has the option to dry clothes mode too which is very useful for me.
Value for money
We gave not moved to a bungalow and noticed as the weather got colder we were getting alot of condensation on the windows and outside doors, trued ventilating to no avail. So we brought this item and we were surprised on how much water it was taking out of the rooms. It is a bit heavy and slightly noisy as we do not have it running through the night because if that. But otherwise it works really well.
we live in a very small Cottage. We’ve had this Dehumidifier eight days and it is brilliant, ran it for five days on full power during the day and low over night, it recorded 79% moisture at the start and worked hard to reduce the moisture reading to a now constant 50% and running now on low. It will switch off if the water level reaches 10Ltr but i now empty the tank each evening and it is barely 25% full and it now spends more time off than running, its switched on 24-7 but wakes up every 30mins to sniff the air so to speak and might run for a short while to maintain the humidity at 50%. Its a brilliant machine, small but powerful, quite quiet, it sits on our landing, all inner doors open and doesn’t bother us at all, cheap to run at a reading on the smart meter of 5p per day. I highly recommend this Dehumidifier.
Works extremely well
Did a lot of research and this brand featured regularly, can see why, was really surprised how much water it pulled in on first use. Easy to use, relatively quiet but by no means silent but you will sleep with it on. 5 stars.

Laundry mode good and pence per hour over night on economy 7. Would like to be able to turn on/off with smart plug at cheap elec time but needs setting up and pressing power on every time power applied.
Very effective
Bought this after my colleagues all got one. Thought it may be a myth, but it’s really good. It’s removed huge amounts of water from my home and it’s warmer and just feels ‘healthier’
Me and my husband can’t stop admiring this device. We had problems with humid air in our flat, which was quite moldy. We bought this and it really improves the air quality, be both felt more energized and it was easier to breathe at home. After 1 h of using it for the first time we could fill 1 whole cup with water. and actually windows are not wet in the morning. It’s works quietly. You still hear it working, but it’s not loud.
We are happy with this purchase. If your house suffers from mold and heavy air, you not gonna regret buying this. Better air, more energy, clearer thoughts. 100% recommend. 🙂
Works very well
I am amazed by how much moisture the machine draws out of the air. I live in an old slightly damp house and this machine is really making a difference. My bathroom always felt cold and damp but since I have started using the dehumidifier the room feels much warmer.
Quality
Arrived earlier than stated. Followed the instruction to leave it 6 hours to allow the oil to settle.
Very easy to use it’s quiet at normal running. Is compact the handle at the back causes the unit to tilt. It’s not too heavy to move. It’s main use is to dry laundry, which it dies very well.

The best dehumidifier I ever purchased, slightly more expensive than the competitors, but it’s worth every penny. Item as described. If you are looking for an energy-efficient dehumidifier you are at the right place. It extracts moisture from air so fast that you will feel the difference in a few minutes. Enough for my two bedrooms and staircase. Very happy customer here.
A pair of the wheel would be a great addition as 10L dehumidifier isn’t a lightweight item.

My conservatory is unheated & prone to condensation puddles on the window sills. Also damp patches on corner walls. Thought a dehumidifier worth trying instead of the cost& upheaval of installing a radiator. Problem solved as far as I can tell after the week of icy temperatures then rainy wet weeks.So very satisfied with the purchase. Too early to calculate running cost ( only on a few hours each day ) It’s easy for me to manouver but might be a little heavy for a frail person hence my lower scores for these 2 questions.
Machine is great but literature says that you can’t leave the machine on and then turn it off via a mains switch or timer because it damages the controls, This means that economy 7 customers can’t use it at night unless they get up at 1.30 am to turn it on, and 7.30 am to turn it off. Disappointing!
This does exactly what it said , I read reviews of this one and many others before purchasing it , on a medium sized load of washing it will dry it first time , a larger load will need longer .
This machine was a witch best by which is why I ended up buying this one , I’m amazed how well it does it’s job , not only does it dry washing but my whole house is better for it the condensation is better so no build up of moisture in rooms , it uses very little energy so much cheaper than a tumble dryer in fact I haven’t used that since purchasing this dehumidifier, it’s a win win for me .

I purchased this as I dry my washing indoors and wanted to avoid damp. It works very well and is fairly quick too. Much quicker than leaving clothes to dry naturally.

Does exactly what we want it to primarily drying laundry in a static caravan.
What we like it’s a great alternative to using the tumble dryer for most things but not really for thick bath towels or bedding.
