Very pleased & suprised how good this little weather station is,
First thing I did was put batteries in the remote sensor & plugged in the main unit then sat them together to see if they matched for temperature, After around a hour they were both reading exactly the same which I thought was very impressive,
I then put the sensor outside under the eaves of my shed to protect from rain & direct sunlight, the shed is around 40 yards away with a couple of trees and a wall in the way but the maine unit had no problem picking up the signal,
As far as i can tell the remote sensor is giving a fairly accurate reading for temperature,
The main display is very clear to read with lots of settings to keep you interested & a button for the display brightness/off,
The only slight negatives so far are the clouds flashing on & off is a bit distracting, the cable outlet is on the right side (left would have suited me better) & the remote sensor is badly designed to mount on a wall/flat surface but those are only minor niggles & overall I am very happy with the weather station & for under 30 I think its a bit of a bargain.

I have had a few weather stations in the past. This one was easy to set up and seems accurate. As the unit is mains powered, the display is extremely clear, bright and easy to read. However, there are a few negatives. Due to its slightly wedged shape at the back, it is a bit difficult to hang securely on the wall. It does not sit flush with the wall and I had to apply a small sticky pad on the back to keep it level (the 2 retractable legs on the back of the unit get in the way when wall mounting and hang down at the bottom and are visible when the unit is on the wall). The base station has lost contact with the outdoor sensor twice within the first few weeks. I have had to move the sensor closer to the base unit to ‘re-pair’ – the original position was around 10m away. I have the base station mounted on the wall (about 1.80m from floor level). This is around eye level for me and the display is clear, but if viewed from an angle or a seated position the display is much less clear. Overall, I am happy with the unit for the price – it is nice to have the moon phase icon.

Superb clear screen with loads of info. Only slight downside is that the buttons to change date, time etc are a bit fiddly and it is hard to get the right day to show up. Overall though good product.

I’ve been using this for quite some time now and the battery power is still going strong for both the main unit and outdoor sensor. Pretty easy to set up, though the weather forecast has been way off a couple of times and needed manually setting. Overall though this is an easy to use and read unit, doing what it’s supposed to do. I wanted it as an avid gardener to monitor climate and weather patterns. Recommend.

This has battery or mains. When on mains, it is lit all the time. On battery you have to touch the top to light it up. Clear display. Can’t be put in the sun otherwise it gets too hot and shows false temp. Exterior sensor works well. Good talking point.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI have been using this weather station for about 2 weeks now and I love it.
First, for a few days, I have checked if the sensors (temperature, humidity and so on) were accurate with my other weather instruments and all were perfectly accurate.
The display is clear and easy to read. Even my young kids are able to check the current and forecasted weather, both inside and outdoor (via the extra sensor outside). It is so useful when they want to go out to play in the garden.
The time is updated automatically via a radio signal, so the clock is also always accurate and on time too.

Overall, it is a very good purchase and so useful to have in our family (we put it in our kitchen). I didn’t realise how so useful it will be. Now we always know the temperature and humidity comfort inside and we can also choose the right clothes before going out thank to the outdoor sensor and forecast trend.

Very advanced and well designed weather station. What makes this weather station unique is this colorful display and amount of data and readings on it. Very interesting look makes it great accessory to put on shelf and at the same time keep monitoring climate at home and outside thanks to wireless sensor. On display it keep track of temperature inside and outside as well humidity, after setting up it shows time, date, moon phase, weather forecast and barometric pressure. So this is full package weather station. On side of the device you have 7 functional buttons and 1 switch for alarm. You can charge it by power adapter included, alternative usb charger or simply with AA batteries. This is great gadget for every home.

Great weather station for you home.

This weather station is really easy to setup, just pop some batteries (not included) in the remote sensor and plug the main control panel into the mains. The main display can also be powered by batteries but the display turns off after 15 or so seconds to save energy.

Accuracy seems pretty good and it is useful being able to compare indoor temperature and humidity to the external conditions.

You can switch between Fahrenheit and Celsius at the push of a button on the side. The time syncs using the MSF radio clock signal in Cumbria, so is always accurate and never needs adjusting.

The air pressure sensor seems to be pretty accurate and gives a degree of forecasting of sun, cloudy, rain etc.

The display itself is easy to read and very large.

Overall not bad for the price and useful to keep an I on what is going on outside.

A great little weather station on a budge

Got this for my son, he loves his Science and this is a nifty tool for looking at all this weather and atmospherics. He loves it, the sensor is placed outside under our covered Gazebo so it is protected, but gives a good accurate reading. The graphics are bright and easy to read and it also has an alarm to wake you. Its fab quality and lots of fun (if you are into this stuff of course)…..we have found it to be remarkably accurate and would recommend!

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersThis little (8″x5″) wireless weather station can be wall-mounted or sat on a flat surface.

So that you can give some thought to where you will display it, let me deal with the one main downside.

The display only stays on all the time if you use mains power (plug included), if you use batteries (2 x AA not included) it will only stay on for 15 seconds, you will then have to touch the top of the device to light it for a further 15 seconds. In my opinion, its charm is the visual display, and using batteries does not work for me.

It comes with one battery-powered wireless outdoor sensor (2 x AA not included) and has the capacity to take readings from a further two. This remote can be hung or can sit on a flat surface.

The initial difficulty I had was finding the right place which would not be in the sun and would also protect it from the elements. I placed mine under my shed’s roof, see pic.

There is a range of weather readings displayed, which are comprehensively covered on the product page.
Temperatures can be displayed in Centigrade or Fahrenheit.

Additional information such as calendar, alarm, and phases of the moon are shown.

The instruction manual does say that the weather station calculates a weather forecast for about the next 12 hours, based on the barometric pressure trend. It points out that this can’t be compared with professional weather services supported by satellites and computers. I have to say however the readings have been reasonably accurate.

Overall, this adds an eye-catching display to any room you choose to put it in and gives you interesting and practical information.

Eye-catching display of useful information, reasonably accurate forecasts, best on mains powe

    Delivered by Amazon

This weather station arrived in its own box along with A power lead , an instruction manual and an outdoor remote sensor ( this takes two AA batteries )

Plugging it in, it automatically sets up the indoor temperature and the bright LED screen lights up ( see 2nd pic ) . At this point you add the batteries to the outdoor remote sensor and place it where you want it . After a few seconds the digital display shows the outdoor temperature too .

There are buttons down the side of the display panel that allow you to set the time .

On the display you see from left to right

Top left – outdoor remote sensor
    Middle Humifity percentage outside
    Bottom -Time Day

Middle screen – Forecast trend including lunar cycle

    Right top – indoor temperature
    Middle -Humidity percentage
    Bottom Barometric pressure .

This is a wonder if a temperature gauge , it’s bright easy to read and most importantly accurate .

Priced just under 40 it’s a bargain for anyone interested in the Weather . O love it and happily recommend .

    Wonderful Weather Statio

Like this – good vibrant display once you get it sorted and that doesnt take long.
Box contains display unit, remote monitor, power cable for base unit & instruction booklet.
Both the remote monitor and the display unit take 2x AA batteries each (not included).
The display unit will run from either the mains charger (included), a USB cable (not included) or a batteries – putting a couple in the base unit will maintain your settings if you have to move the unit.
So as a minimum you need to get 2x AA for the remote monitor.
The remote monitor should be placed outdoors but under cover (I suspect its not waterproof) – so mount it on a panhead screw in a porch or under a soffit – I fitted ours under a canopy by the front door. This was approx 10 metres through various walls to the base unit in the kitchen & it maintained connection with no problem refreshing every 2-3 minutes.
After 30 minutes or so the remote unit stabilised to the ambient temperatue and was pretty accurate – outside temp approc 12 celcius – the base unit also reports an accurate indoor temp.
All in a pretty handy accurate indoor / outdoor temperature indicator, nice bright displays & not badly priced.
Hope this helps your decision making.
    Thanks for reading.

Nice display, accurate remote monitor over 10 metres.

This has everything you need to know about the weather. It also tell you the humidity and temperatures inside and outdoors.
The LCD screen is about the size of an tablet. It comes with a sensor which is best put outside so you get accurate readings.
The display screen is so colourful all the family have taken an interest in the weather.
It’s a really reasonable price and would make a great gif

This is a simple enough concept, but is well engineered.
In essence, you have two units – an indoor display, and an outdoor (or wherever) sensor, which connects wirelessly to the indoor display.

The display itself is fab. It’s bright, colourful and easy to view. It seems pretty accurate (the indoor temperature matches my digital thermostat anyway).

Easy enough to switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit depending on preference/location.

The only downside I’ve found after using it for a week, is that while it can operate on battery or mains power, unfortunately when on battery power only, it dims the display after 15 seconds (to almost blank). Clearly this is done for power conservation, which I understand. But there’s no option to override.

I would like to mount this on a wall, without cables (so using battery power). I wouldn’t mind changing batteries frequently if needed, but because it dims itself (until touched), I can’t really do that.

Personal choice really, but just something to be aware of.

Overall though, a very nice and easy to use piece of kit, which looks attractive and modern.

It comes with one outside sensor and you can link up more. The main station can run on battery or mains power. I find it fascinating to watch the changes in pressure. And so useful to know what the temperature and humidity is like outside. It is pretty easy to use. You can set alarms for things like when the temperature drops and frost is likely.
I find it educational and interesting.

Great idea for me stuck at home in working from home mode, now coming up for a year.
Sometimes in my shed office world, you can lose track of time and what is going on in the world outside.
The remote sensor I placed under the eaves of my shed and connected up the what is like a digital tablet which gives the stats.
Great to get an idea of temperature in particular inside and out, its been quite cold in the first couple of months, and its useful in terms of dress code and pre warming of my environment!
The tablet is multi function….and perhaps more functions than I need. The weather forecast is really useful, and I assume based on the science of the weather conditions outside…so far its been pretty spot on. Also a time/clock/ calendar which again I found useful.
I haven’t attempted any more fucntions….but maybe will get round to it. The controls for the tablet, they are sensibly placed on the right side edge, and clearly and sensibly marked with icons.
Instructions are provided and cover the functions, but I found the layout a little cramped, hence my reluctance to dig deeper into the functionality.

MOHOO Weather Station with Outdoor Sensor Wireless, LCD Digital Weather Stations Forecast

This weather station is great for measuring and gauging multiple weather behaviour over long or short periods of time.

Useful for me particularly as I have many plants in my garden some of which that have specific needs.

Extreme weather can have a negative effect on my plants. Knowing in advance what the daily rainfall, temperatures and humidity will be a big plus for me.

This particular model is very well kitted out and has a few very useful functions.

The weather station is wireless and can monitor inside and outside environments

Can be charged either with batteries or with a usb charger which is a good alternative

The weather station also has perpetual date set up to the year 2099, not sure I’ll need that but it’s good to know.

It has a HD screen which makes viewing the screen day or night is easy in the eyes.

Can be wall mounted or free standing.

Best of all you don’t need to be surprised about forthcoming weather and can be prepared in advance for whatever the weather throws at you.

Useful for the budding weather f enthusiasts. So many uses.

Well made compact and lightweight too.

I hope you found this review helpful

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI have a few of these weather stations. Some people say to me why do you want them when you can see the weather on your phone. There are a few reasons, your phone won’t give you an accurate reading of the outside temperature and won’t tell you the inside temperature at all. A weather station like this keeps you constantly in touch with trends, history (max/min) and moon phase as well as telling the time and having alarms.
This weather station has more features than any of my other weather stations. For a start the screen is a little bigger and also the digits are large and very visible against the black background, even from a distance. This weather station has a USB out (charger) socket on the back which I’ve never seen before and it also gives a graph of the barometric trend (histogram in bottom right corner) which is really nice to have, rather than just the arrow pointing up or down for trend (although it has that too). This weather station also receives an MSF time signal (rugby time signal) which means the time is always accurate and the clock adjusts itself when the clocks move forward or back for summer time. You can stand this on your desk or hang it on the wall. I always keep my weather stations permanently plugged in so that they are lit up, otherwise when on battery you need to touch the top to turn on the backlight for a few seconds, which might be what you want if it’s by your bed although you can set the brightness of the backlight even when it’s plugged in. Both the inside and outside units take two AA batteries which aren’t supplied. When plugged in it only uses 6 watts so it’s pretty low power and this unit is supplied with a plug which is another unusual feature for your money.
The weather station has all the usual features as well, max/min alarms and daily alarm with snooze for instance. The outside temperature sensor shows the temperature on a little LCD as well which is helpful.
Of the weather stations I have (of this sort) this is clearly the best. It is priced mid range to upper range for this sort of weather station but I think the price is well deserved and I’m happy to give this 5 stars.

Package has come with main indoor display unit with power adapter and an out door unit.
Indoor unit can be powered with wall adapter or 2x AA. The difference it makes is display is always on with power adapter and on demand with the batteries.

It was so easy to connect, just place the remote sensor outside, power up both units and the main unit started displaying the weather. It displays outdoor weather on the left, indoor on the right and Forecast, moon phase in the middle.

    Pros
    – Easy setup
    – Large colour display
    – Lot of detail on screen

    Cons
    – Vertical viewing angle is narrow and acute.
    – Can display only one sensor info at a time
    – No wfi/ bluetooth

It is a good unit of display for weather with large display and helps people who are keen on live outdoor an indoor weather.

    Huge display
