This is a huge picnic blanket which was exactly what I was looking for. Easy to wipe clean and carry or store as it comes with a string bag.
This blanket was a lot larger than I thought it was going to be. I opened in my kitchen which is pretty spacious and it covered the whole floor. The colour is a little washed out but if you’re looking for a family blanket for the beach/picnics then this one will seat four people comfortably with space for food and drinks. It is currently listed at 12.99 which is a great price for the size you get. My only negative with this blanket it the bag it comes in, it’s fine quality but a pain to get the blanket back in. This is an issue most picnic blankets have, but many now come with wrap around ties rather than the bag which is a lot easier.
Good size, nice classic picnic design and company for taking with you, waterproof and easy to wipe clean.

I always wanted a proper picnic blanket like retro style not all the fancy and modern prints with flamingo and I don’t know what other things so I’m very pleased with this classic design. The size is also impressive as I always end up on the edges of the picnic blanket so I’m sure that with this one will be plenty of space for the 3 of us plus the food and my little girls toys 🙂 The fabric is thick and sturdy, well made stitching no loose threads at all . Another thing I like is the holder that come with for easy keeping in when not in use , waterproof and easy to clean ! Definitely recommend!
This is a great picnic basket. I love the barn style pattern. Plenty of room for a family and food. It is hard to get the blanket back into the bag, just need patience. I keep mine in the car for quick impromptu park walks.
Big is size. Easy to use for a whole family. Can accommodate 4 5 people easily. Easy to use and clean as well.
Easily foldable hence easy to carry
As a family we take every opportunity to head off for a day trip and weather-permitting we enjoy bringing our own food and drinks to have a leisurely picnic. So this large brightly coloured blanket and the fact that it is waterproof and easily wiped clean makes it ideal. It is also perfect for draping over picnic benches and tables that are permanent fixtures in many parks and beach areas. Despite its large size it is thin enough to be easily wiped and rolled tight to fit in the supplied pouch with carrying straps. And it is extremely light so no cumbersome heavy carrying. It feels like it should last well. To give you some idea of the generous size see the photo of it draped on our King Size bed.
I was really surprised at how big this is. I got this after attending festivals in summer and sitting on a tiny blanket that was getting wet from damp grass. Wet bottom no fun when you’re out for hours.
This is HUGE! This will easily accommodate 4 of you, or maybe more, sitting on it. It’s super light for carrying around, and waterproof, and the design is a chintzy retro traditional gingham design – that I love.
There’s nothing not to like here. It fabulous for picnics, or festivals. An excellent buy!

A large picnic blanket 200cm x200cm just over 6ft x 6ft. A good size for the whole family. Easy to wash and with a colourful pattern more pink than red, comes with its own carrying bag which has a shoulder strap.
Made of water repellent rather than water proof fabric, so unsuitable for very wet ground. Easy to wash down and quick drying polyester fabric. Not very padded but well-made and does the job. Best suited for grass rather than hard surfaces.
Difficult to fit back into the carrying bag, but does roll up easy. Quite pricey at 18.99 for the thin material.
Liked the large size, would have liked it to be better padded.
This picnic mat/blanket feels super soft, lightweight and great quality. It’s nice and large for all the family to use on a day out, and it comes with a really handy bag to store it in. Once folded, the mat is easy to get into the bag which isn’t always the case! The bag has a useful handle so it’s easy to carry and travel with. The mat is also really easy to clean and handle, overall a great quality product for a great price!
The soft surface fabric, compared with Oxford cloth fabric, this one feels better and has higher comfort.
The front fabric is a bit like waterproof down fabric. The back is more like an umbrella cloth. It is easy to fold and can be rolled up and stored in a carrying bag. It is easy to clean and can be cleaned at low temperature in a washing machine.
I’ve been on the lookout for a blanket of some sort to keep in the car boot and the old tartan one is past its sell by date. I’d hesitate to call this a blanket. It’s more like a coloured plasticised sheet, but certainly serves its purpose. If it was a genuine blanket you’d never get rid of all the sand. I love the fact that it’s big, folds up into a bag with a handle and is so easy to clean off after a beach trip with sand everywhere. It’s a great thing and takes up less room in the boot than the old rug. It’s also machine washable and will be easier to keep clean. I think the price is pretty reasonable because I’m sure it will last the course and I can’t fault it.
One of the major positives about this picnic blanket is the size. 2x2m is huge and for once the whole family can fit on the blanket without having to sit on an edge.
The quality is good and I like that fact that you can roll it up and store it in the included bag – which has a carry strap too. It’s not the softest blanket in the world but it washes well and so far has proven to be water resistant.
Overall a good sized blanket for the price and lightweight.
This picnic blanket is a great size- 200 x 200cm so can easily fit a group of people- 6 is suggested in the listing and I would say it is correct if some of those are children. It folds up into a carry case and it is nice looking- red with a check pattern and the underneath has waterproof backing so you could put it on dewy grass and not get wet. It is a great price and is excellent for picnics and outdoor activities.
Summer has gone I guess so I will be getting more use out of this next year but the limited use I could get out of it before the heavens opened certainly left me impressed.
The colours/design have that classic, retro, picnic look and it looks really nice laid out on the grass. It’s well built and put together and in that sense seems built to last. It does also seem waterproof (although I doubt you’d leave it out in torrential rain).
It’s easy to get out of the little bag/holder and lay out flat. It is also quite easy to roll back up to put into that bag so it certainly is portable and easy to carry around for short distances.
It’s easy to wipe down should you get any spillages (inevitable really) too.
Overall, I’m very impressed with this and looking forward to getting full use out of it next summer.
This is quite a large blanket that is lightweight and easy to carry. The base is waterproof which is very helpful on wet sand or grass. As it is compact in size so it can be easily kept in the car for any outdoor activities. It is very easy to clean as it can be popped in the washing machine which is great as my previous one was fleece lined and had to be hand washed.
Overall, it is a good quality product and ideal for picnics.
Bought this originally for my Dog who has a sensitivity to grass so she could lay with people in the garden. Also used by my nieces who have made a lot of use of it. Very easy to clean and is great to sit on.
This is a lightweight roll-up picnic blanket that was a wipe clean surface. It rolls up pretty easily into a fat sausage and has it’s own carry handles, so you can take it on the go. It’s not too heavy, so it no problem to carry. It’s not so thick that you won’t feel the odd lump or bump on the ground, but it will keep you dry.
This really is larger than other picnic blankets I’ve used. It’s 2m x 2m – plenty big enough for 6 footers to lie down. The fabric is quite lightweight – which is good for packing and carrying but perhaps may not be as robust in the long run – too early to test that.
The fabric seems waterproof – not tested yet but it looks like it’s stitched through, so proper testing in damp grass is needed. The fabric looks like it will work well on sand – with you able to brush the sand off.
