After reading reviews on this barrow i was half expecting having to return it .
I was surprised to find that after a thorough check over the frame and parts you use to assemble it including the nuts and bolts every thing was all there and in perfect shape .
The assembly instructions though not the best are pretty straight forward to follow.
The only complaint i have about these instructions are they are on a very small piece of paper with realy small writing it is so bad i had to photograph them from my phone then zoomed in on them to use them .
I have just used the barrow to take three 20kg sacks of chicken pellets to my Allotment (around 3/4 of a mile) and not had any issues with it .
To me it doesn’t seem a flimsy make do barrow which is hard to use it performs like a barrow twice the price .
The only complaint i have is when the box arrived it was pretty beat up but that had no affect on the barrow .
Very good product does exactly what it’s supposed to do .
I would definitely recommended it .

This is a good product but the diagram to assemble is really not good.

Am in contact with them at the moment as tyres valve is not compatible with uk air pumps or is faulty hopeing to get a new inner tube that fits uk air pumps or one that is not faulty,so only 1 star at moment if problem is resolved then no problem giving 5 stars all sorted

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThere are two indentations on the handles of the barrow at the fixing holes. In my enthusiasm to tighten the nut on one hole I managed to strip the thread on the bolt. Fortunately I had a spare nut and bolt.

For the price this is a great product I have been using it hard for a week now and is spot on.

Easy to put together providing you assemble loose at first then after all nuts and bolts in place tighten .

I’ve assembled it and will keep it now but it’s made with very thin steel, not what I’d call heavy duty.
All the bolts were OK for length but not the diameter, they are very wobbly in the holes.

I’ll just use it for medium duty work.

    Marrtin.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersI bought this barrow because it was the cheapest. I got what I payed for in the end. No instructions how to put it together, but it is simple enough not to need any. I managed to assemble it by myself, but a helping hand would make it easier I think. Two of the nuts stripped straight away (hardly tightened them) so it’s a good job I have plenty of spare bolts etc. on my shelves.

Also best to leave ALL the bolts very slack before tightening any of them while assembling the barrow, although this is true of ANY barrow I find. Once assembled, tighten all the bolts only then, as this will help a great deal in lining up all the holes for the bolts. I found putting the frame together first, then putting the two bolts in the front/bottom of the tub, before the other bolts in the tub, to be an easier way to line things up. But whatever works for you, go with it.

Putting the wheel in last makes things lighter to turn it over too. The front bar it all rests on is flat, so just be aware that tipping the barrow straight-on is easy, not so easy to tip it off to one side i.e. spreading out soil straight from the barrow, or even concrette etc. The flat part makes it harder to swivel when the barrow is vertical for tipping, so maybe think if this model is right for you and what you intend using it for mainly. The flat does make it safer to lean upright though, so swings and round-abouts.

I’ve had worse barrows (the galv is thin on this tub) but I’ve also had better. So this one is ok, but not for really heavy site work in the long run. They cost a lot more uaually. I’ve given it 4 stars for the two stripped nuts (from new) and the high angle of the handles, which are ok, but might not suit everyone.

You really need to go to a shop somewhere and try a barrow before buying to see if it suits you, but this is not always possible.
