Very comfortable hard to assemble

Great customer support is a big win for this chair, I bought 4 of them already, as regular office chair, I had some problem installing casters on on of the chairs and they send me a whole new base and 5 casters via dpd.
comfort is really subjective but all my employees love them. also someone mentioned that the piston can be higher, I agree, but not a problem for everyone, Im 6ft and I replace the feet of one chair with high solid glide and it now fits perfectly, no need for higher pistons.
also i wish the armrest is a bit softer. I ended up buying armrest cushions for all the chairs.
bottom line, it is a decent comfy chair, but additional arm cushions and taller feet will make it a lot more enjoyable.
Its petite and nea
This chair is good for people who are 5 foot 5 inches. Any taller and it wont work. The gas lift is quite limited. So you sit hunched up. So I contacted the manufacturer SIHOO. Their email is in the booklet. They replied right away. Sent me a fix. Problem solved. Amazing after sales service.

I needed a new office chair and this one looks very elegant, so I bought one. It should have been easy to assemble, but the metal part that screws onto the base of the seat was not entirely flat. Getting it fixed on involved just putting the screws in enough to just grip the thread, then applying lots of pressure on the plate to get the last screw in far enough to grip. The whole process took about twenty minutes and then I had a working chair. I was a little concerned about comments from others that the gas strut would not extend enough to suit taller people. I am 6ft tall and it certainly extended enough for me. The arms are a little stiff to fold up, but I imagine that will improve with more use. The one real disappointment for me was that the padding on the seat is fairly thin; fortunately I have plenty of fleshy padding on my own “seating area” so it is tolerable.

I’ve had this chair for a few months now and it’s still perfect. I used to suffer with lower back pain so when I changed jobs and started working from home I was keen to get a chair that wouldn’t make that worse. I’m so glad I chose this one as it’s been great for my back! Assembly was simple, my teenage son did it for me. As my desk is in my bedroom I was keen to find a chair that didn’t look too out of place or too imposing. The fold up arms means it fits neatly under the desk when not in use. I haven’t had a single problem with it.

Put it all together very easily and only had problems with the tilt feature – until the excellent SIHOO customer support pointed out that I’d got the lock engaged. The base is firm but comfortable and the back gives some nice air-flow, which has been very welcome on recent hot days! I think the arms flex a bit, which might mean they are a bit weak but they are holding fine now.

Chair feels supportive. Id maybe like a little more elasticity on the back but besides that it’s a really good office style chair. One thing that nearly put me off was the people saying its really hard to put together. Took me 5-10 minutes. I’m okay with diy, nothing special. Maybe would take slightly longer for someone with no knowledge of flat pack furniture but it really is a very simple process.
It was important for me to have good quality chair which met this one. I will definitely recommend to a friend if I am asked. Lumbar support is moderate for me with height 174cm and weight 75kg. I had a disc herniation surgery years ago, so, you can respect my opinion because it was one of the most important things I have been assessing for years (office seat, car seat, long airplane journeys etc.). The best thing about this chair is having smooth wheels. I have seen a lot of chairs with wheels which do not want to move when you need and then you force it to work. Cannot stop my children sitting on it and non stop turning 🙂

Good value office chai
It was very easy to assemble, took my less than 10 mins, all parts and screws fit quite well (i’ve seen others did a terrible job on that). The fabric, cushion and material are quite comfortable. I’d recommend it for compact room use.

This chair is easy to assemble. It is well made and functions well as an office chair. If you are looking for a simple but robust chair for your office then this fits the bill.
After reading reviews of this chair I ordered it with a little trepidation as I’m 6’4″ .Others had said it was too low for them and they had to order a bigger gaslift cylinder to make it more suitable.I’m pleased to say that this wasn’t necessary – my legs are at 90 degrees as recommended .It looks good and relatively unobtrusive because it’s a light grey colour.Thank you.

I’ve been using this chair since February and it’s comfortable, easy to assemble, good quality. Great for the price I paid. To top it off the customer service is fab, they helped me with getting a longer gas lift so the chair lifts up higher. Will be recommending to family and friends.

Since this review and have to be fair , The customer service sent out a replacement gas lift and it solved the issue of height so add more points .

Bought this a few days ago after working from home on a dining chair for a year. Super easy to put together – I did it with my 2 and 4 year old (honestly!). Wish I’d bought it sooner but had a hard time finding one that looked scandi and fit in with my office decor. This is pretty good looks wise and feels so much better on my back!

I’ve assembled some dumb chairs in my life and this was, by far, the easiest one I’ve put together. Been using it for about a month now and haven’t noticed any issues.
Looks pretty sleek in my office, and has good lumbar support.
The seat foam isn’t the deepest, but I can’t feel the metal base and don’t notice any discomfort after sitting on it all day.
The arms are plastic, so not the comfiest to rest your elbows on, but I wouldn’t consider that a deal breaker.
It’s always difficult to purchase a chair without being able to sit on it and check it out ‘in person’ – and that makes me reluctant to spend too much lest it be a huge mistake. This chair, however, was in a price range where I felt it was worth the risk and the other positive reviews gave me confidence that my purchase wouldn’t be disastrous.
Generally, I’ve been pretty impressed. The chair is quite easy to put together, requiring only a handful of screws to be tightened in some pretty obvious holes. Once assembled, the chair is quite comfortable with a reasonable range of height adjustment, recline options and support. The ability to fold up the arms is very handy as it all but guarantees that the chair will be able to slide fully under the desk, saving valuable floor space.
Naturally, I can’t comment on the longevity of the chair but nothing about it seems alarming in terms of quality and I have no reason to suspect it will fail in an unreasonably short time.

Good value for money. Easy to assemble, l managed in a about half an hour. Stylish, comfortable with good support.
After 1 week of gaming in this chair, already hearing the squeezing noises and feeling gaps on the structure as you move back and forth.
Good for office as they seem to be built to last, but not for extreme use as gaming.
They could also be more comfortable, the back is too much laid back position.

Whilst a decent chair, I have found sitting on it for a prolonged period of up to an hour gives me a sore butt. The cushioning could be better. Other than that, it’s a nice width seat. The arm rests rise up which helps me when tucking my chair under my desk. If they were height adjustable that would have been perfect. The back support is there but would be ideal if it moved a little more up and down. I guess you never know whether the adjustable pieces for the back will work for you or not until you physically sit on the chair. The four stars mainly contribute to the comfort of the seat.
Update July: the arm rests just drop down themselves, there is no way of tightening them that I can see to prevent that from happening.

Past the initially confusing checklist on the assembly manual (it covers 3 different models and not in English), it is quite straightforward to put together. The chair is comfortable and quite stylish.

I have this in white/grey. The quality and finish looks fantastic. Adjustable stiffness is a gamechanger. Foldable arms works like magic for small room office. Not heavy and chunky like other office chairs in market.

Fab chair for the price
Fab chair for the price. It’s stylish, easy to assemble and provides good back support. It’s surprisingly light and although components seem quite flimsy it somehow works well when assembled! The chair is high enough for my desk (I’m average height). The sliding back positioning support could go a bit higher if I’m being picky – but overall very happy with this purchase.

This one was straight forward to set up & didn’t take too long. The product is very comfortable, I am usually at my desk for long periods of time and I don’t feel pain after sitting in it for too long.
One issue is that this product might be too small for tall people, I’m 5″4 and I feel like this is the perfect size for me.
As someone who has problems sitting in an office chair fir long periods of time, I was skeptical that this chair would be for me. I couldn’t have been more wrong! So comfortable and supportive, adjustable to exactly the right height for me, could not recommend more highly.
I am a petite person. This chair I can sit on the whole working day with no problem. The seat pad is comfy – it does not sink down, the back support is great. I really like how the back rest tilt can be adjusted as fixed or moving for when you want to lean back to relax. I don’t have lots of space behind my desk but this chair fits in perfectly and the armrests fold up to tuck the chair in neatly. Easy to assemble, I did it in around 20mins. Gloves that are provided are useful as there was a lot of grease on the gas mechanism. I’ve used this chair mon-fri from 9am-6pm for the past 3-4 weeks with no issues whatsoever, it’s just great.
I like the colour and the ease of assembly, as I am a woman who lives alone and was worried that I won’t get the assembly correctly. I was wrong! This was very very easy to put together and the instructions were pretty clear.
Not sure how good back support is, as I’m yet to use it. Will update if anything to add.

Lumbar support adjusts minimally
Great chair. Very happy with it. I’m 6’3 and the adjustable lumbar support doesn’t adjust high enough for where I need lumbar support. It has a more limited adjustment area than I’d expect, only designed to be adjusted up/down slightly. Otherwise, couldn’t fault the chair really. Light, sturdy, comfortable and looks good (i.e. exactly as pictured)
Comfy and easy to assemble
Assembling furniture is not precisely one of my skills and I tend to struggle even when the instructions are clear Yet, assembling this chair was super easy! Comfort and support wise, I am also very pleased!
The reviews on this chair are v useful and accurate. Overall it looks good and is comfy. The delivery was surprisingly fast! The chair should be able to go a small bit higher but it just works for our desk. Also quite a few reviews mention that the chair tilts when supposedly tightened up. I think if you flip the chair upside down when tightening, the mechanism can grip better and the movement stops. Update: I ultimately decided I needed the chair to be higher and the company did reimburse me for the price of a new gas lift. They were v helpful.
Suffered severe back ache, couldn’t sit down or put socks on it was so bad. Neighbour recommended this. 1 week later, back was fine. Sitting on kitchen chair was a disaster through the lock downs. Also bought Ian McKenzie lumbar support.

Chair OK now and have cured squeak
Easy to assemble, light and comfortable.
It did have an annoying squeak after a week or so but retightening the underside seat bolts appears to have cured it. SIHOO after sales service did offer to help – credit to them – but I think problem has now been resolved.

only fault of the chair is that the mesh/fabric part got snipped. but an easy chair to assemble (without prior DIY knowledge) and value for money. Nice smooth rolling chair and back support is good. Arm support good as well. Adjustable seat . Highly recommend.
Disappointed with my purchase as this chair is not comfortable for me. the seat is quite hard so bought a cushion, the back is too hard and rigid, gives me backache after 10 mins. It looks great and love how you can lift the arms up to place chair under the desk therefore giving more space in the room, wind it on looks that’s all.
Was a bit unsure before buying chair – was considered spending a bit more from a recognised office supplier but really pleased with the end purchase.
Instructions were clear and easy to follow. A pair of gloves were also supplied so you could assemble as the Japanese manufacturers intended! Chair went together easily and now that it is up, is very comfortable. I’ve used it for 8hrs a day, 5 days a week for over a month and have not regrets. The chair also looks great in my room.
It arrived a week before scheduled, which pleased me greatly.
I put it together myself (I am not strong). The instructions were easy to follow and the process of assembling took approximately 15 to 20 minutes, mainly because I took my time.
The chair is comfortable, feels a little flimsy, but that’s because the previous chair was a solid monster. I find it comfortable and very easy to maneuver.
I’m happy with my purchase & would recommend this chair for home office use.
Keeps sinking
The chair is nice and light but am finding that it constantly sinks.
I looked at just about every sub-120 office chair on Amazon before buying this one. All of them seemed to have good, but mixed, reviews. I found myself worrying about comfort, build quality and chair height – I’m 6 feet tall so this, in particular, concerned me. I gambled on this chair, and I’m really pleased I did.
The chair is very easy to build – I did it myself in about 20 minutes. Everything is put together by just pushing in or by simple Allen key bolts. And the bolts of different lengths are supplied in separate compartments, so there’s no annoying process at the start of sorting all the jumbled bolts out! But even though it’s easy to build, the build quality is really good. The plastic seems to be good quality, the mesh feels sturdy, the casters are smooth and quiet, and the mechanisms all work exactly as they should.
Comfort is good. The seat pad is a good level of firmness, and the adjustable lumbar support is useful. The only aspect I find a little uncomfortable is the height of the arm rests, which are fairly low down and cannot be raised, so if you’re tall your arms may not reach them. But even then, I’ve found that I can half-lower the arm rests and, although I can’t put full weight on them, I can at least rest my arms while typing.
And as for the height – I honestly have no issues with it at all. I am using it at its max height, but it is entirely adequate for me – I doubt I’d want it any higher. So my biggest concern just wasn’t a problem at all.
Overall, I’m really pleased with it, and would happily recommend it.
Like a cloud on wheels
My expectation was not very big, but I have to say I love my chair now. Working from home was made super comfortable and Good to my back now! It came in a parcel and was mounted with 6 screws (if I remember correctly). Super easy and beautiful. Can only recommend!
I researched a lot to buy a proper chair for home office, less than 80. For this low budget I really recommend this one. It is comfortable enough, looks nice, cushion is not too soft but supportive. The reason why i chose this one was the lumbar support is adjustable. I wanted something that I can hold up to support my back and it doesnt go up that much but at least it is adjustable! It would be so perfect if i could adjust the depth but for this price I am just very happy with the fact that it moves up and down. I am 5’5″ and the size of this chair is just perfect for me. I don’t recommend this for tall and big guys as it doesn’t go up that much but for my height it is enough.
Also for the delivery, it arrived only in 2days which is surprisingly fast.
To sum up, I cannot say that it is the best desk chair in my life but I would say, with this budget it could be the best one.

I have been searching for months, and months, and months for a replacment office chair. My old one was 35 years old and well beyond its sell by date. The SIHOO office chair looked the part, was within my price range, and the reviews were top marks. What could possibly go wrong?
Actually…. nothing. The office chair arrived 4 days before the suggested delivery date. I was impressed. The office chair was well packaged. I was impressed. Putting it together was childs play. I was impressed.
As for the nitty gritty of actual use: This is a great replacement for my old and worn out office chair.

Good chair for working at home. It’s got very basic adjustments. It’s comfortable to sit in for long periods of time. But don’t expect to sit down and think wow so comfy. Good and does the job. Worth the price and easy to set up.

I love this chair, it’s the best office chair I have ever had for comfort. I wish I had this chair in the office but I have it at home instead. The seat is really comfortable, I love the way the arms lift up so that I can push the chair under my desk as this is used a small room.

Great chair, came a little bit dirty from storage
The chair itself is great, comfortable, good build with good materials. Assembly was pretty straight forward. The base and back support are really comfortable and you can lounge back and it feels great. My only complain is that some of the parts came a little bit dirty. I’m guessing the dirt was either from storage or it was at display on a store maybe? Most of the dirty patches came off with a wet cloth but some remained as in stained into the materials of the chair, not to terrible though.
I really love this chair, it has improved my sitting position and posture greatly. I have been working from home for the past year and was using an old faux leather executive chair that has progressively given me a sore back and shoulder. Since purchasing this chair my back and shoulder pain have gone. It was very easy to assemble and is good quality. I think it’s very good value for the money

Stylish and Easy to Assemble
Hubby got this for my office. Its such a lovely addition to the space. It’s lightweight, easy to assemble and just so good to look at, and use!!! It blends seamlessly with the white theme we were going for and is so supportive. It’s worth the price.
I’m only 4″11 so I was looking for a chair that would low enough so that my feet would touch the floor when sitting and this fits perfectly.

The title sums it up. It is a very comfortable chair. But it has a very limited height. I (5’10”, 178cm) can’t use it at a dining table. My wife (5’1″, 155cm) has to use a cushion to raise her enough to use it at a desk. Much depends on the length of your trunk. If only it had about 5cm more maximum height it would be perfect.
Very nice and comfortable chair. As I work from home I use it around 9 hours per day. No back pain, has enough lumbar support, the hand rest is steady, seat pillow firm enough. I did a research before I bought this chair for a couple of days. When I receive it I thought I did a mistake as it’s a bit pricey And looked quiet simple but now after one month of use I can confirm that it’s very good quality.
I’ve been using this chair for about three weeks now and I think it’s pretty decent. The seat is firm but comfortable and feels like it should last. The supplied castors are just a little soft, so they run nice and quiet on a hard floor.
Overall the chair is reasonable quality – I can’t imagine you’d get a better chair for less than three times the price of this one.
The only downside for me is the seat height – I’m just under 6′ tall – at full height, it’s just a touch too low. Swapping out the supplied castors for some taller after market ones sorted it.
Great looking chair and very comfortable, now. My only complaint is that it doesn’t raise high enough. To be fair in the product description I believe it quotes suitable for people up to 180cm, I’m 188cm. Initially I used a couple of seat pads, ok but not great. Have since purchased 50mm spacers and longer bolts. Bit of a faff but in my opinion good result.
Chair arrived on time, easy build – we built it in about 15/20 mins. Definitely comfier than the kitchen chair I was using at my desk. I was worried the chair would stick out as my desk doesn’t have much leg room. Chair lowers and arm rests lift fully meaning the chair tucks completely flush when not in use. The only thing I’ve not mastered is moving the lumber support, one side moves freely the other side sticks. I’ll spray with furniture polish and update. Used the chair for work yesterday so far so good
Easy to assemble, looks good, very comfortable. Finally found a not super expensive chair that I can sit all day in.
warning: I’m 5’11 (180cm) and would probably have it an inch higher than the max if I could.
So I couldn’t recommend for taller people but otherwise it’s a great chair.
Seller very polite and good comms, gave discount due to delay because of shipping problems that weren’t their fault.
Bliss, the last chair I bought was crippling my back and the screws were falling out of the base.
This one took five minutes to put together and is in two parts, so easy to carry upstairs ( not heavy but with the mechanism altogether could be a pain).
The wheels are great and so is the amount of movement allowed, the mechanism allows you to easily rise and lower the seat, plenty of bounce no jarringon your back when moving toward and away from a scree
This chair is fantastic. Very easy to assemble and extremely comfortable.
For me the chair was the right height but my partner wanted it a little higher.
No problem, we contacted the company who recommended a replacement higher gas lift with instructions how to remove the old one. Even better, they refunded me for the replacement.
Another tip, one of the arms was slightly loose, so I just removed the plastic cover with a screwdriver tightened the bolt on the arm and replaced the plastic cover.

Fantastic chair and easy to assemble
I have a back problem and researched office chairs extensively before buying this one. Checked Argos, IKEA and Amazon. Decided on Amazon. I chose this chair because of the positive reviews from others and because they said it was easy to assemble. The chair was delivered sooner than expected, had all the bits, was super easy to assemble and looks great. Really good chair!
We received the chair quickly but found out immediately that it was not high enough for us. The maximum seat height is 45cm, which become 44cm once seated. May be enough for you but was not for us. We contacted the SIHOO support and they have been nothing less than amazing. I wish every company did the same. They suggested an alternative gas cylinder we can fit on the chair and reimbursed us for its cost.
So be careful about the measurement and, if too short, case I’d recommend to buy another model from SIHOO!
Good support and comfy
I purchased this chair for working from home. It arrived quickly and putting it together was very easy. It feels sturdy and looks smart. I was looking for a comfortable chair with lumbar support snd it ticks both boxes. Arms rests can be pushed up which is an additional bonus. The seat is firm but comfy. I haven’t tried the tilt back feature yet but in overall I am happy with my purchase.
Spent a very long time searching for a decent chair to buy for WFH.
After months of looking at loads of different types and styles, I finally settled on this one.
It’s aesthetically pleasing and looks VERY premium, especially considering the cost.
But the quality doesn’t end with the looks, the build is solid too. Every part (castors, gas strut etc) carry a nice weight and feel sturdy too.
The foam base is firm, supportive and comfortable, but when I say firm, I don’t mean rock solid. It’s the right balance.
Extremely happy with this chair!
Well made, very easy to assemble. Very comfortable. Colour scheme makes it less obtrusive in a study bedroom than standard black chairs.
Only reservation is that the seat is a little low when sitting at a desk (even when at highest setting)
Got this mid size chair as additional to home office room. Came in box, unassembled, needed assembly.
Came with clear step by step assembling instructions. Assembly took less than 5 minutes, all straight forward.
Chair itself easy to move around and due to wide legs it’s quite stable.
Has back support adjustment which can be moved up and down depending from users hight and preferences.
Chair itself can go up and down and also have back tilt mechanism which is quite useful.
Overall good quality and nice designed chair to have without spending too much .
Working from home is so much more comfortable now
Really impressed with this chair, it was delivered quicker than expected. Easy and quick to assemble. Love the fold up arms that make it easier to slide under the table when not in use. Very comfortable and makes working from home much easier. Wish I’d bought it sooner!
Comfy, sleek desig
Comfortable chair and very easy to build. Only complaint was that the seat had a mark on it before I took it out the packaging but it doesn’t impact the function. Nice and sleek design so good for smaller rooms.
An excellent chair for the home office
The chair was simple to assemble using the clear instructions. It is supportive but comfortable, and very well engineered with easy-to-use adjustments for height, and backrest. It is solidly made without being too heavy and is one of the best chairs I have used for computer and craft work. It also looks good and is a very satisfactory purchase.
I found it really difficult to choose a chair, scrolling through hundreds without being able to test them out, worrying about the build quality & not knowing how much I wanted to spend. I eventually opted for this chair because I liked the look of the company. I am not disappointed. It was the easiest chair I have ever assembled: most of it was just a gentle push together; the screw holes aligned perfectly; screws came already separated into their compartments; there was nothing in the way of turning your allen key 360 degrees. It took 10 mins. A nice Japanese touch is it came with some tiny gloves for those that don’t want to get their hands dirty (even though all parts were super clean). The quality is very good: Nothing wobbles; a firm supportive cushion that was pleasingly sized; smooth silent castors. And I find it comfortable and supportive – I am six foot and 13 stone. It is the cheaper entry level chair for this company so what it doesn’t have is the myriad ways of adjusting it but I find it has all that I need. Most importantly for me I could adjust the lumber support to exactly the spot I need to support my lower back. All in all, I couldn’t be happier with this purchase. Feels great value for money.
