These are great backpacks. They’re pretty sturdy, hold A LOT, are comfortable to wear, and look good. They’re fantastic for short breaks & general day to day use, and the price is a real plus point.

This is a really comfortable bag, as well as really big as I found I can pack a lot of items inside. I like that there are separate areas inside so that I can utilise every section.

Second one we’ve bought for my son, first one lasted 4 years!
Big main section, two more sections, one includes a few pockets and a key but so you don’t lose them in the bag.
Two bottle holders on the side.
The 30l capacity is good for books, PE kit including footie boots etc.
Really comfy to carry. Durable but also light. Definitely recommend.

The bag seems to be plenty big enough to contain the tonne and half of school supplies needed for an average day, the padding on the straps is generous so hopefully will protect the child’s shoulders from the weight.

Used this for a festival recently, carried all my clothing and some camping equipment well, was waterproof enough to survive condensation and rainfall – plenty of nooks and crannies to stuff small things, the clips were really useful to keep everything packed together. Great bag.

I got tired of the Gelert rucksack that weighed a kilo before I’d put anything in it! This is super light and is the same size so I can still get everything in. The compartments make it easy to pack and the padded straps easy to carry.

We’ve had two of these now, the first one lasted about two years. It’s pretty hard wearing, the thing that knocks a star off it is that the netting for the water bottle on the side breaks very easily, making it a little less useful than it could be. Good size for A4 folders and all the bits you need for a school day.

I love the amount of things you can get into this backpack. And although it claims to be waterproof, I have found mine isn’t as good. I’ve had to place precious items into other bags for protection.

Good size could fit everything I needed in. I use this for hand luggage when flying and also for hiking. Very comfortable to wear even in hot weather. Found the key storage and zip wallet part very useful

This rucksack is great. I took it on holiday to carry everything I needed when I went sightseeing. It had plenty of room for all ny stuff. I was concerned it didn’t have a chest strap but there was no problems with the straps slipping off my shoulders. Very good value bag.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersGood gym kit bag which will last a year or two. Bought this to replace my old one of the exact same type, where the main zip failed and holes appeared in the netting on sides and few other rips etc. Not the best but for price it’s good value for gym bag/weekend trip abroad travel bag etc.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersDecent quality, I mainly use it for work. Big enough to fit my laptop and charger / cables in, and a full size mechanical keyboard (because screw laptop chiclet keyboards). A laptop bag just wont cut it these days.

Comfortable enough to carry, so I empty it out at the weekend and use it on days out with the kids. Side pockets are perfect for their drinks and provide easy access. Plenty of different nooks and crannies to store all your bits. My only criticism is it doesn’t have any padding to the bottom, so I could damage my laptops if I get a bit giddy. Definitely recommend though, would buy again.

This little bag isn’t as small as it looks, it holds enough clothes fir 4 days plus toiletries. I went on a 4 day city tour and instead of the usually suitcase I used the rucksack. Even enough room for a 2nd pair of trainers. Ideal for grocery shopping too instead of the usual plastic bags. Why didn’t I buy thus earlier, I ask myself

Love this bag, looks nice and seems sturdy. I will be taking it on holiday so let’s see how well it holds up but so far im loving it. It’s got three main compartments and I got it in Ash colour which is black main bag and grey/ green details. Very nice very pleased thank you trespass and amazon!

The price of this good rucksack has bounced – over just 2 days – from 18.89 to 39.95 to 20 and is now (29 March 2023) 15.99.

I find the price hikes and crashes to be unacceptable: the price can crash significantly within minutes of an order being placed.

The rucksack itself is good quality: well-designed and well-made although it would benefit from a chest strap (one can be added DIY).

AT 15.99 it is great value: at 39+ it is overpriced. A ‘fair’ price is 18 – 21.

I help out with the Scouts and needed a back pack that would be sturdy, waterproof and good quality. This definatly ticks all of those box’s and doesnt break the bank like some of the other options. This is just the right size as well it you are needing a bag to take some items on a day trek.

Doesn’t seem to have any compromise on quality considering the low price. Been using it daily for work and not disappointed at all. Great value.

Bought the Trespass backpack since I’d been using one of their backpacks daily for several years now, but the main zip had gone on it. This pack is a comparable size, with two large and a small front compartment, plus a couple of side mesh pockets for smaller items. The fabric used for the pack is a lot more substantial than the old one, so since the old one lasted well I have high hopes for this one. The zips also look like they’ll last.

The pack also has two side compression straps, although I tend to think that on a pack this size they’re a little unnecessary.

The only thing I miss is that the old Trespass pack had a chest strap whereas this one doesn’t. The result is that the straps can slide down over the shoulders when the pack is heavily loaded. Pity they didn’t add a chest strap and forget the compression straps.

I’ve had one of these as my ever day bag -work, shopping days out, for 5 years. It’s taken some punishment, had all sorts in it including a hoodie my son was sick in on a flight as no sick bags. I just put it in the wash and it was fine. Only bought new one as probably packed too much into main compartment. All zips still fine etc and a big plus so much cheaper than any other equivalent. I’ll still use my old one but for lighter loads as top has finally split after too much stretching of bag which zips managed but material obv didnt. My bad lol.

Bought for our holidays in 2023, ideal for airline carry-on. Lots of compartments for travel documents Etc, plus has water bottle netting.
Haven’t tried in wet weather, so will update posting later this year. Well padded and enough space as a day bag. Choice of colours and reasonably priced.

Happily holds up to a 14″laptop, 3 compartments are great for organising. Two side meshes allow carrying of two drinks bottles too.

Bought for an upcoming short break so can pack light. Seems roomy as on website. With 3 separate zip compartments, 2 big and 1 smaller plus 2 side mesh bottle holder compartments. Size wise I think it will just about meet airline hand luggage requirements.
This is the green & grey colou

    Light and roomy

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersI think this is one of the best backpacks I’ve ever had ! The price is absolutely amazing, talk about value for money. So good I bought it twice in the blue and in the ash grey, so my husband and I have one each.
It knocks spots off the expensive Herschel ones I bought from John Lewis. It is easier to access and just seems more comfortable to wear. Fantastic size, fits plenty, and unbeatable on price. Five star in every way !

Brought this specifically, as I always have a rucksack when I travel and it seemed fit for purpose with the different sections and internal storage areas. Have used it several times and has taken a battering in the overhead luggage compartment, but still retains its look and hasn’t degraded in quality.

2nd Albus 30 bag I’ve had. I used the last one for work, and on hill walks and mountain hikes. Holds up really well, very sturdy and has a lot of space. Bottle pockets are great, but eventually the mesh split on both sides, but I had the bag for 2yrs so I can’t complain really. Knew it was practical and durable, so ended up buying another. Got the Electric Blue one this time, very nice colour. Highly recommended product.

This backpack is a generally well built backpack and this purchase replaces an old backpack of the same type, just in a different colour.

The only issue there was eventually the zips on each compartment would no longer zip the bag securely closed. This did take a number of years to occur, so I got a reasonable amount of usage before it failed. Hopefully, this new one is at least as good.

Golden Review Award: 10 From Our UsersI was looking to replace an ageing Trespass backpack I have had for years with another one. As usual I was reading many different reviews but nothing took my fancy.

Having seen one of these in the real world I decided it looked a big enough size and a genuine 30l pack (some say 30l and look too small).

Sturdy material, good zips and 1 big main compartment was a must for me and this has those. I wanted a larger 2nd compartment like my old bag and this has that too.

The smaller pocket on the front is ok. I would have preferred 2 small pockets, but that is due to me being used to my older bag. Otherwise I get what I need in it for a day out with the kids.

A bottle holder both sides was a must, and these are big enough to hold proper bottles. The pockets are even large enough for a large stainless steel flask of around 1ltr..

Padded straps are good and long enough for my 6ft frame.

The ability to put some carabineers on the straps was also a must for me as I am constantly having to attach other things to me on a day out, and I have that ability with this bag too.

The lack of an upper chest strap to hold the arm straps together would have been a great addition and is sadly missed on this Albus bag.

    Good purchase for me.

Like: very light at 500 grams (700g less than a similar sized North Face bag I own); material quality is good despite the light weight; straps are basic but comfortable; reflective details are a nice touch; there is some kind of waterproof layer on the inside which many bags don’t have; 3 main compartments; bungees are always useful for strapping things on the outside; it was cheap at 16!

Don’t like: zips don’t feel very quality, time will tell if they last; seems a bit smaller than another 30 litre bag I have; the side pouches for bottles are not stretchy which is probably why others have ripped them (can’t have everything at this price)

Very nice back, good material and strong. It has survived 12weeks in a work factory environment and still no signs of wearing. My only issues is I wish the shoulder straps where a little longer, as I’m a large man, the bag sits a little high up my back than I’m used too

Used this trespass rucksack recently on a trip to Wales. We did a few short hikes & it was the perfect bag to keep my essentials in – water bottles, sunglasses, tissues, snacks, light rain jacket etc. anything larger would’ve been cumbersome. Received promptly. I needed this bag as I had joined a fitness club. The bag has ample room for all my needs. I only thing I put in the little pocket is a padlock but there is room for a purse, keys and other Knick knacks. The middle pocket has my shampoo, conditioner and body wash but is only about a third full with these, so again, plenty of room. The main compartment is just under half full with swimming costume, fitness outfit and trainers. It has not rained, so I can’t comment on how rainproof it is nor it’s durability (I’ve only had it a week). I am a 5′ 4″ woman and it is very comfortable to carry. I would recommend this bag to friends.

Took this backpacking with me as my second bag. Was really comfortable to wear on hikes with and carry around with me. Was large and was really useful to have multiple pockets. Only negative is that the second pocket came away from the seam so I’ve had to rip out that part but it’s still a great bag.
