Good kit for money
Easy to assemble. Easy to use. Large parasol and easy to adjust height.
It does need water tank weights to hold down the base (not included), otherwise it will topple over.

The umbrella was well packaged and protected in the box. Simple instructions and included everything needed. Very happy with the design and value for money. Hoping it lasts!
Given the summer we have had in 2022 - a great buy with fantastic coverage.
I wanted a larger parasol, and this provided a good cost-effective and well-built option.
The unit is easy to set up, raise and lower the parasol so provides great flexibility throughout the day.
I would recommend the use of standard paving slabs to help anchor the unit, these are cheap and allow for easy movement to different areas of our garden. The alternative of anchoring permanently, may provide greater stability in higher winds, but usually if the wind is that strong, we simply lower the parasol as the chances of sun are reduced.

The base is far too light but once you get ballast on the metal frame, this is great value for money

Love it. But I’ve had to wedge between groove in my decking because it topples over bottom isn’t heavy enough

For the price I paid this is a bargain. Love it and it is huge. Easy to put up and down and I love that you can have it tilted. It does need weighing down even with a little wind. I love it and the red is a lovely colour. Would recommend this item above the other expensive ones

Shadow size very much depends on time of day.
Should have bought a bigger parasol, does move with the wind may put a guy rope (as per a tent) on it to keep the shade where it is wanted. Moving the base and weights is a pain in my particular location and is now fixed to a pallet with concrete flags to weigh down.

For the money it’s a great product.
Easy to assemble with four bolts to fix the base. Has holes to peg it to the ground if necessary but it’s very sturdy, I’ve seen similar in garden centres for over 500. Very pleased

Cantilever parasol could be bette
It is very unstable if it gets a bit of a breeze, it definitely needs the weights but at nearly 30 each ( you would need all 4 for stability) that works out expensive. It also spins around in the breeze and unless you have some way of tying the cantilever down , there will be no way of preventing this from happening.

Just a basic parasol
Easy to setup but the rotate wheel to open or close the parasol doesn’t work as expected, sometimes need to turn both ways to close or open parasol. The quality is ok not the best but works for the basic use

Looks stunning. But like all of these style of parasol’s you will need weights on the base as pegs will not hold in a stiff breeze or gusts. You can buy them. This however is a real quality item and worth money

I nearly didnt buy this after reading some of the reviews, it was delivered on time, well packaged, but it is heavy, of course. Assembly was easy and straight forward.
And its great, sat out reading in the shade, and it was brilliant. I am going to bring it in , in winter, and it dose need a sand bag on the base. If windy, but a great buy, and looks good. Very pleased.
Very easy to assemble. (Mid 70s working alone). Looks good. Where I have it means I have to stretch and use my left hand (I am right handed) to raise and lower it but I have no difficulty doing so. And the handle is colour coded to remind me which way to turn it. Where I have it is on the corner of the house which makes a slight wind tunnel so we can have some interesting effects when the parasol sail dances in the wind but I bought the compatible water weights offered by the maker of the parasol and so far it has remained firmly grounded. I am happy with it.

Loved the umbrella but although I ordered it last year it was not out in the garden until May of this year. Sadly it has now list the bolt which attaches the top of the umbrella to the plastic support. Whilst I have found the nut, there is no sign of the bolt. For the sake of a bolt a whole umbrella has become useless.
Contacted Company who asked for proof of order and once sent have heard nothing more. Not impressed with the supplie

Its good sturdy equipment and value for money and did purchase a good size base for stability very attractive when assembled on patio

It has great quality, but when it’s windy it swings a little and you need weight on your feet or you can screw it to the ground .
