I’m currently sat underneath it, and it is a very well made parasol. The poles are strong with a metal tilt hinge and plastic pole fastener. The canopy is 8 spoke fibreglass rods. There’s a 15mph breeze and it is holding up with ease.
The one thing it does need on the beach is a corkscrew mount as the pole spike isn’t great. It’s well worth the money and the carry bag is very good too. The whole thing is easily carried with a shoulder strap. Recommended.
very good umbrella
his parasol is incredible! it was much larger than expected and I like the fact that you can adjust the height of it too. it is a nice grey colour and definitely protected me from the sun. the only thing that would make this item even better is if it came with a parasol stand or base. I understand this parasol is mainly for the beach but I also liked setting it up in my garden. very good price and very sturdy too! Can’t complain at all! definitely buy this item!

Very sturdy
Very sturdy for a beach umbrella compared to previous ones I have owned. I was impressed with the overall quality of the material and metal components, a very good size with handy travel bag.
Good for Price
This was good value and quality for the price. However, the wind vents should be bigger – the flaps are very small and didn’t even cope with a light breeze. We had to hold on to it, once the breeze started, to stop it blowing over despite having used a rubber mallet to position it. The tilt is not adjusable – it is either tilted or vertical.
Perfect for my needs
I’ve owned many parasols over the years., this is the best yet. A little heavy for a long walk to a favourite beach but that’s the pay off for sturdiness.

Great beach umbrella
I ordered this during the hot summer & then the weather changed! But think it will be great to use next summer as despite living near the beach have never had one but now with Grandchildren think it’ll be good for shade! Luckily they all love the beach so can’t wait to use it!
Great for the price
It is very easy to set-up. Comes with a carrying bag and is sturdy not to break after a few uses. been used at the beach and in our garden as a second shade umbrella to my bigger expensive one.

This brolly is lightweight, easy to carry in its own little bag and looks good too! It’s not flimsy but due to the light weight it would need to be secured on a windy beach/area. Would recommend.

Good quality parasol
I’m really pleased with my new parasol . Easy to put up and down , easy adjustment, sturdy tilt mechanism. I bought this as I had previously bought another item made by Christow and an equally pleased with my purchase.

Light enough to carry to the beach
I liked this so much I bought another for my other seated area. Smaller and lower than normal parasols but when put in a stand to secure it, exactly what I wanted. Others were too high to stop the sun, I just have these really low above my head!
Looks jolly and is well designed
We had a base from a cheaper one that the wind ripped up. This was larger and better designed for two people out of the sun (or rain), for 30.

I bought this sunshade after returning one that although it was really sturdy I found much too heavy to manage on my own. This current one is just right. It’s light enough for me to handle, is easy to assemble and take down and is really good value.
Excellent parasol
We bought this to replace an old umbrella that broke. It is light and easy to carry in its case as we use when taking the grandchildren on the beach. The parasol is good quality and not expensive. It is a good size and the tilting button works well which is necessary when the sun direction changes. Would recommend.
According to label offers UPF protection of 30+ NOT 50+
Well made and value for money. Only problem is the claim that the umbrella offers UPF 50+ protection when the label attached to the umbrella states 30+. Not a deal breaker but description needs revising. Would have been 5 stars if description had been accurate

I bought more expensive supposedly heavy duty umbrellas but both were blown over by the wind and the spokes broke. Bought these and they are fantastic. Adjustable and colourful.

Lightweight and a stunning traditional look!
I wanted a parasol light enough to lift in and out easily and this is so easy to handle. It fits in with my seaside deck area in the garden too. I love the blue colour and the white trim. It’s good to have the wind vents too. It’s really good value for the money.

This parasol was to replace one of the two parasols that blew down, along with our fence, during the storm/gales in February. I particularly wanted this one because apart from the color it is almost identical to my favorite parasol that blew away.
My husband was at first quite dubious of the purchase before it arrived, but is now impressed and content with it on seeing it. One thing about this parasol is that it is well made and well stitched, and the cover that comes with it extends a good 4 or 5 inches below the parasol base; quite often some don’t cover all of it, but this one does. The cord to tie it at the bottom of the parasol is thick and strong; a good quality parasol in my honest opinion.
I got the beige, and it’s lovely; I am so very pleased with my purchase, and just had to say so. I would most definitely recommend this parasol.

Bought for my parent’s little courtyard garden, it’s a lovely style, perfect for 2 people, and looks very nice in place, we are all super happy with it.

This is a must buy. Quality is superb, especially considering how reasonable the price. Love the colour, Blue. Fabric is of a very high standard. The tilting mechanism is so easy to use, as is the mechanism for raising the parasol . Highly recommended 10/10. You won’t find any similar quality at this price. The colour is a lovely Blue. The poles are of exceptional quality as well.

This would be ideal for just holiday use on the beach. Handy bag/handle to transport and light enough to carry just didn’t suit my needs as a garden parasol as the pole was too short.

After having such a dismal summer I decided to take the gazebo down as it was just killing the grass. However, I like to sit in the garden with a cup of tea even when it’s raining. I have this on my patio in a heavy base and it’s perfect, big enough to cover my 2 seater rattan chair and table.. Love it!

No problems with assembling and materials all good. Was worried it may have been a bit flimsy but worry unfounded. Have used in the garden, fits in centre of table! A winner!

Really good sun umbrella for garden use. Bought as a gift and recipient is very pleased with it. Excellent that it has UV protection and the tilt function makes it more versatile. Vents at top allow breeze to flow through and prevents parasol from taking off. Light colour makes it easy to see print when reading beneath it. Good value for the price

Brilliant product, just perfect for our garden picnic table. Easy to put away and portable enough to take out if we go anywhere. Spike just slots into the grass, no messing around with lumpy bases. This parasol is good value as the quality is great.
I bought another much heavier parasol from Amazon but it didn’t fit the base despite Amazon’s strap line “Frequently bought together!” I returned the parasol but kept the base which you fill with water and sand and found this lovely taupe one from Christow. It is sturdy, good quality and tilts. It is light enough for a single older lady to deal with but strong enough to withstand our daily winds as it has a pocket at the top. It comes with a carrying bag of good quality to take it on picnics etc. It gets 10 out of 10 from me and was worth waiting the 7 days for delivery

Pretty Parasol
An attractive blue parasol trimmed with white, but rather short. I bought it for the garden and my son says it’s more suitable for the beach so I have not got it over a table but just between two chairs.

Extremely pleased with this! Needed something for a bit of shade in the garden, and all the garden umbrellas were really expensive. This was cheap but seems to be very good quality! Came in a bag, opens & closes nicely, extendable, tilts, spiked end for putting in ground. Great!!
