The Real Deal
Over the years I ended up with a miss matched set of dinnerware, some of which goes back decades. I really like the durability of Corelle and decided to start matching things up again. I purchased the Crimson Trellis plates to compliment what will someday be a 50’s diner motif to the kitchen. Also, this pattern isn’t listed on the Corelle site, and thinking they are discontinuing the red patterns (they have similar snack plates on “clearance”).
My initial concern was that this needs to be the real Corelle we all love. There is a lower line called Everyday Expressions that is made in China that has bad reviews. I was also concerned about ordering online, hoping things aren’t damaged in shipping. I initially ordered a single set of 4, just in case this wasn’t the real deal.
My order came in an Amazon box, with a loose (no padding) Corelle box inside with the 4 plates. Hey, if it’s the real deal they should survive as I’ve only broken 1 or 2 pieces in over 20 years of having them. Happily, nothing was damaged when I took out the plates.
I looked on the bottom, and very happy to see Made in USA. The color is perfect and should match up great with some of my other pieces as I round out matching Corelle dinnerware.
Pros: Made in USA, nothing damaged, no imperfections, lightweight, great color, the real Corelle.
Cons: The packaging and didn’t follow delivery location instructs, not enough to deduct a whole star though.
Summary: If you’re looking for the “real” Corelle, this is it. I’m happy to finally have some matching dinnerware.
Buy Again: Yes, I ordered another set to complete serving for 8.
I bought my set of dishes last year . But the set was only 6 piece place setting. It’s the one with the lone tree. Anyway it came with 6 pic plates square and 6 lunch plates and 6 bowls. I’ve always used Corelle dishes because they take such little space and stack so thin and almost never break. But my son moved out and I’m missing 1 big plate and two bowls. So of coarse Amazon my go to shopping had the bowls but you can only get them in 4 piece , that’s okay I’ll have 2 extra . While o was looking I saw the mugs that go with my set. They didn’t offer them in mine nor did I see other sets. I really want them but they’re like $50 plus dollars for 4! I may consider if it was 6 but that price for 4 no thanks. Anyway I like the square bowls I think they are larger than normal round but no totally sure but love these dishes you will too.

We've been using these for many years now. They are perfect for soup, cereal or a bowl of snacks. We've broken a few over the years and if you do too, be careful... they shatter into millions of pieces. Other than that we love them :)

After trying other sets over 50 years, have gone back to Corelle for its durability, easy care, and light weight. They are practical and highly functional even after all these years.

Availability and reasonable pricing for this Corelle Bella Faenza lunch plates (8.5″) were not at consumer’s advantage(s) until the recent Amazon Days for which we lucked in and purchased 4 boxes (4 plates in each box).
My lovely Portmerion dishes have become a bit heavy for every day use. I always had Corelle when my kids were young so looked for what is available. These white with subtle embossed pattern are perfect.

I had generally become sick of the weight and size of most stoneware...heavy to heft, and really it encourages a person to eat too much as well. Corelle has been around many years and in lovely patterns too, it was time for us to change things up.

Ho gi acquistato, ormai molti anni fa, piatti della Corelle e ho potuto constatarne la robustezza. Dovendo aggiungere dei nuovi piatti a quelli che gi ho, non ho avuto dubbi nell’acquisto di questi, che mi sembrano della stessa ottima qualit dei precedenti.
Lovely set, small bowls
Bought for use in the caravan. Looks good, light and robust (I accidentally dropped one and it bounced but survived).
Just not thrilled with the size of the bowls otherwise it would be 5 stars.

Queste stoviglie sono robuste e leggere. Ho acquistato anche il set completo di questi piatti per l’esprienza avuta dell’ alta qualit delle stoviglie della Corning. Possiedo un set completo di stoviglie della Corelle (Old Town Blue Onion) comprati negli U.S.A. nel 1975 e nonostante un uso quotidiano sono ancora oggi in ottime condizioni. In questa serie mi sarebbe piaciuto trovare anche le “fondine” e le tazze “hook handle” come erano previste nel vecchio modello Old Town Blue Onion, ma non perdo la speranza che un giorno …

Ideal for our Motorhome
Lightweight, packs tightly for storage and much nicer to use than Melamine. Microwave safe, haven’t tried oven yet and no dishwasher in the MoHo so can’t comment on that! Pricey, but worth it in my opinion.
