I have had my eyes on these knifes for a long while now, (if I just say forged in fire and Damascus steel, those that know will know) so when I see them in the Prime Day sale I took the plunge and ordered them. They arrived the following day and what can I cay, these Knifes are amazing. The Damascus steel gives these knifes a premium look, the construction of the handle looks robust with what looks like a through Tang. Out of the box these knifes are razor sharp (Bald patch on arm to prove it) I didn’t realise how bad my old set was till i got these. They cut so effortlessly through anything you put in their way and even the bread knife was a joy to use. They are probably not the best Damascus steel knifes out there, but for a home chef who loves cooking, these are beyond expectation.
Not the best stand.
I love these knives mostly the Japanese chef’s knife although they are all valid. The stand on the other hand, seems to need its own counter top.

Very high quality, lovely to look at, easy to use, cuts any piece of food you offer it and I got them before the price went up, result.
Very sharp knife set slightly let down by the handles – on opening the box 2 had marks which appeared to be from the blades of other knives & also all the knife handles have a sharp edge at the end (brushed / satin) cap – most noticeable on the steak knives.
Additionally, the handle of the sharpening steel is completely different to the rest of the set (cheap looking) plastic with a polished / chrome type cap, whereas the knives are a brushed / satin finish. Overall, a good set which could have been great with just a little more attention to detail.

Nice set of knives
The knives are really good quality – not had the experience that other bad reviews have had. The only slightly dissappointed is with the Bread knife. It isn’t as serrated as I expected so cutting crusty bread is difficult. (I have actually resorted to my old bread knife).

Excellent Japanese knife set, oddly made in another country so not sure on the authenticity… nonetheless, superbly crafted, incredibly sharp and beautiful in appearance. Would I say value for money? Probably not, the price tag is awfully steep for them, but I’d probably expect a lower price tag which, to me, appears on the high side. However for a one off and having used since August, I’m very pleased.

Well-balanced, stunning appearance, sharper than anything I’ve used before. These knives are truly amazing. Only niggle is the slight chip/scratch on the bread knife which when paying this price you don’t expect. Overall though, best knife set for the price!

I don’t normally write reviews but I got these for a gift to my partner and he hasn’t stopped raving about them. Everytime he uses them i have to listen about how they’re the best knives he’s ever used and about how sharp and effortless to use they are. They look amazing. They glide through everything. I bought them after weeks of research and know more about knives now than I would ever wish to. . They haven’t dissapointed. I would wholeheartedly recommend them.
Bought this set of knives as a gift for my better half who fancies himself as a bit of a Gordon Ramsey but with more ‘effs’ thrown in. I’ll be honest, I didn’t expect them to be any better than any of the knives we currently have but boy, was I wrong! They were worth every penny and you can really tell the difference. The blades go through meat, veg etc like a hot knife through butter but be aware they are incredibly, incredibly sharp so watch your fingers!

We all have knives of some description in our kitchens. The problem is, we usually end up having to buy more one when the ones we use get blunt, or the handle gets damaged, etc. And we also usually replace what we need with something similar, which will blunt, get damaged and…well, you get the idea. Maybe you should invest in a decent set of knives, and whaddya know, here’s one right now.
A dozen knives, a sharpener, shears and a heavy wooden block to place them all in make up this 15 piece set. I won’t bother listing the different cutting/slicing implements, as that information is available here anyway, but suffice to say there will be one for every eventuality. If you’re serious about cooking and it’s preparation, you need something like this. Okay, the block takes up a fair bit of space, but knives such as these should be kept to hand and aren’t ones to be left in a drawer.
Expensive? Perhaps. But it does work out at 14 per item, so maybe it isn’t so expensive after all. My only reservation is that she now has something else to threaten me with if I don’t do the washing up.
First time upgrading to some better quality knives. One month in and so far so good. Never realised how much easier things can be when knives are this sharp. Worth the money.
They’re well presented in a nice, Almost orangy wood block, though the knives are not in the block prepackaged. but it’s simple to figure out what goes in what hole.
They cut true and sharp, and look great with the damascus pattern, However I do personally wish it was a darker billet.

High quality knives. They’re really beautiful and so sharp, they make cooking a pleasure. They retain their sharpness extremely well. Working in the cooking industry I didn’t have to attempt any sharpening for well over a month.

I’ve never spent more than somewhere around the 20-30 quid on knives before, but after moving I fancied a good, proper set, and these caught my eye.
Arrived next day, with the knives wrapped safely and individually. Although I’m sure some knife connoisseurs might twitch hearing this, I couldn’t help it, with one of the first things I cut into was part of the inner cardboard they came in, and it cut through like butter.
These are without a doubt the sharpest things I own; once the genuine fear of being able to dismember myself with seemingly little effort passed, I even diced up an onion I didn’t need to dice just to try them out, and my tentative dicing skills aside, it was night and day compared to my existing ones.
Beautiful set, yes I am worried about dropping one and it slicing a few feet into the floor, but I don’t regret the purchase in the slightest.

A good entry to professional damascus chef knife and I really find myself like a master chef!
Well, this is the first ever Damascus knife set I have ever had. The set includes 8″ Chef Knife, 8″ Slicing Knife, 8″ Bread Knife, 7″ Santoku Knife, 5.5″ Utility Knife, 3.5″ Paring Knife, 6 Pieces 5″ Steak Knives, Kitchen Shears, Knife Sharpener to stay sharp and Beechwood Block. They look very presentable on my island alongside with my another knife block. Let me share what I like about this set:
– a very comprehensive set of knived which basically covers all my chopping and cutting needs
– the print on the surface of the knives makes me think of how much I miss Japan
– the 67 layers of steel provides it the weight and sturdiness and it’s blade is sharp enough to make me cut and shop well
– the integrated handle design makes it hard to break and the grip of the shank is comfortable.
I tried basically all the knives on the block to cut meat, slice bread, use the scissors to cut the chicken joints, I would like to say it’s the best one I have ever had so far and I really feel like I am a master chef!
In terms of price, it’s 259.99 at the time of review, although it’s not a cheap price point but it’s really a good entry price to Professional Damascus knife after I’ve research for a while.

Amazing set of knives, top quality and very very sharp . There’s are a range of sizes and shapes where u can choose the one that suit best to your needs at the moment , a kitchen scissors ( we are using it for dividing a hole chicken or turkey ) and an organizer where u can keep the knives in order -top quality also made of a sturdy wood. I had all sorts of knives before but none of them compare with this set , extremely happy with this purchase and yes highly recommend!

The knives are beautiful with the Damascus wave pattern on the blades, they are beautifully balanced, so comfortable to hold and so incredibly sharp! They are an absolute joy to use and definitely worth every penny !

Ok, I have some really decent Damascus steel knives that I thought were great and they are! But while this set may look a bit pricey, it actually is not! In fact, I have a few knives that I ordefred separately and they are maybe better in so far as their individual presentation is concerened, other than that I see very little differenece! The price is the main one! Those knives that cam in fancy packages as a single item were 50 quid of more per knife! These work out incredible value for money then! And this is before you consider 6 fab steak knifes, something we were properly missing in my household!
The block is amazing, the knives are as sharp as razors and are really well made! Cannot priase them enough and as I said earlier – this is more than adeauate price for a set of such calibre!

We have a few Kitchen Knife sets at the moment, some new, some old. But nothing we have compares to this set in its entirety (one set we have the knives **ARE** better, but it’s the same price for just 3 knives in that one!)
The block is sturdy, well made and extremely stable on the kitchen side – both empty and full.
I did have a small blob of glue I had to pick off which was disappointing to see in such a premium product.
Each of the knives arrives individually sleeved to protect them, and boy are they SHARP!
Setting up the block is truly a pleasure, as the knives all slide effortlessly into the block and the finished effect is gorgeous.
Having the set in this format is just perfect to cover virtually any home kitchen you could imagine as well – you get your standard Bread Knife, plus your Carving Knife etc. – but then you also get scissors that look like they could cut bone, plus one of those tools you see professional chefs whipping knives up and down to keep them sharp and true.
And then they top off the set with 6 beautiful Steak Knives.
The patterns on the Knives is truly a thing of beauty too. The Damascus wave is unique to every knife, and makes them stand out in your hand, even when nobody else is looking.

A low-cost entry into owning premium Japanese style knives
I’ll begin by admitting that I have no experience of the very best quality Japanese knives, of which these are a Chinese equivalent but at a fraction of the cost, but that this knife set is by far and away the best we have ever owned — and we have never bought cheap knives. It is clear that the manufacturing techniques using “folded steel” create a knife with a balance and a sharpness that is truly something to behold, allowing a perfect ‘feel’ and confident sense of balance in the hand that using them is an utter pleasure. If you genuinely enjoy working in your kitchen, then I am confident that you will genuinely enjoy owning and using this set of knives. They are an utter delight. If you wished to save money, you could opt for the set without the six steak knives, which I now think we should have done as we are not big steak eaters.
Over the years, we have bought some expensive individual knives and I have become quite an expert at sharpening them, using various techniques including, now, a professional Chef’s Choice sharpener along with additional stropping. For these, I’m not sure about using this as the edge angle might require a different sharpener so it looks as if I might need to find a different method. For now, the sharpening steel that is included with the set is proving excellent and is very easy to use.

Here is a fantastic set of 15 superbly crafted kitchen knives. Made from high quality Damascus Steel these come with a sharpening tool and fit into a nicely apportioned wooden block.
There is a knife for every food preparation task and in different shapes and sizes. These knives look good and handle extremely well but they also deliver in making quick work of even the toughest ingredients.
The manufacturer is rightly confident enough to offer a lifetime guarantee with these and while this is welcome I cannot imagine ever having to use it with this superb knife set.

A set of sharp knives are a must in any kitchen and these fit the bill perfectly. They are well balanced and feel good in the hand. They cut through foods with ease…even freshly made bread which often ends up squashed and ripped apart. I would recommend these to anyone not just professional chefs.

Nice set of Kitcheners knives
They arrived on time and must say, they look good from the moment you unpack them. I read a comment on here about whether or not they are etched or genuine Damascus forged steel and I have to say, even it they were etched, they did a good job of it. Knives are made in China, not Japan BUT… I have one of those expensive Japanese made kitchen knives and I have to say, I actually like using these knives. Sharp as anything and feel really good in the hand. They look good as a set and I am glad I bought them

The knife set has pretty much everything you need. It even comes with a decent wooden block to house them. Build quality is good and they are really sharp out of the box. There is an included sharpener as well and I would recommend you using this from time to time. The chef knife is my go to knife and all of them have been easy to use and comfortable to handle as well.
