My first tip is to use rechargeable batteries or a power bank, and I found power bank is great. My second tip is to turn off the IR illuminator off when not in use. Do not just turn of the viewer as it eats batteries with the IR ON.

Well made and good quality. The night vision is amazing with 850nm infrared illuminator and full optical system, and literally I can see animals or plants clearly in 100% darkness or very dim ambient light.

It supports up to 128GB SD cards, not included but these SD cards are easy to get.

I would encourage all users to read the instructions. I thought my first set were faulty as I’d failed to understand you need to activate the IR mode when using at night. Once you switch this on (there are several levels of IR illumination) then the result are fairly amazing. The photo I upload for example was taken in pitch black living room and shows up in detail you get. No worries about battery life like many other models I looked at due to this model containing rechargeable batteries so no ongoing costs of battery replacement. We bought this so we could sit and see our nightly hedgehog visitors. We also saw a fox in perfect detail. You can take still snapshots and videos if you insert a memory card (not included but cheap to acquire). For the price point I am fairly amazed at the quality these produce but would encourage you to make sure you’ve read and understood the instructions and how to focus etc to get the full benefit of what this device offers.

Read the instructions to get maximum benefi

Ive had this product a few months now and have used it a handful of times the only down side it has is it uses up batteries pretty quick but it can be run by an external powerbank. I’d also recommend turning up display brightness to the max to see every detail at night. I first used it on low brightness due to high light output from the display and was disappointed in its performance but I was amazed how far I could see once I turned up the display brightness. It out performs an expensive yukon night vision scope by miles. I can make out scenery and trees up to 600-700+yards and can identify animals or objects up to about 200+ yards quite clearly so I would highly recommend.

Neat little machine and a perfect present for a wildlife mad friend who has badgers on his property. Unfortunately I missed the fact that it didn’t come with rechargeable batteries which are a necessity with a device like this as it draws quite a lot of power from the 6 x 1.5v AA batteries that aren’t included and I expect this has helped keep the price down compared to similar more pricey units. You will also if you want to record video or take photos require an SD card which is to be expected and not required if you intend to use as you would a pair of normal binoculars. Nice feature to have but not a necessity. Very simple to use and very clear optics, but it is amazing to click through the various infrared intensity levels and suddenly be able to see on even the darkest nights with any wildlife showing brightly, it really is quite magical. Overall very pleased for the money paid.

If you turn on the IR illuminator the turn OFF the viewer you think the whole device is off….but the IR illuminator is still on!!!!!

You can run from a powerbank using a usb cable for less weight to hold and long runtime..

Well worth the risk at the price.
It does eat batteries and sometimes doesn’t want to switch on again unless you remove the batteries.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersIf you’re interested in night vision; these are a great entry level pair of binoculars.
The fact that you can power them from a USB C power bank is incredible.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersFor some reason man is draining the batteries even before I can set the date and time on it, sent a message to the seller, I got a reply very quickly, they suggested I used 7.5 V batteries, well after looking all over for two days, apparently the UK doesn’t sell 7.5 V batteries in the AA Size, so it looks like yet again I have bought something off Amazon which I cannot use, I have put brand-new rechargeable batteries in 2007 hz.6 of them, and no joy
