Good produc
The rod to put the cover on the brolly is pretty useless as it is too short. The cover has now been in place on my brolly for 2 weeks during these strong winds and survived. It also look good.
Loose fit but good quality produc
It’s good quality and thick material, it has only just been fitted and we’ve had no rain so can’t review how good it not so good the waterproofing is. The fit is fairly loose and the width is a lot wider that my Parasol but it does its job and with an extra ribbon tied round the middle it covers it just fine.
good quality
it is a good quality cover.
my only gripe is the telescopic wand provided is not fit for purpose. The parasol ( and hence the cover)is very tall and the cover needs to be lifted on and off by standing on steps or using a long stick. The wand provided isn’t long enough and doesn’t lock when extended out so folds up as soon as you try to use it.
The cover itself is great.
Good quality parasol cove
I wasn’t sure which size to buy so opted for the larger one. As it turns out the smaller would’ve been adequate. That said it’s a quality product and seems much better than the one it replaced.
Time will tell but so far it seems very good and I’m sure it’ll protect the parasol through the coming winter.
A good cove
So far so good. A nice heavy duty cover for our 3m x 3m parasol. Time will tell how it withstands the elements. The telescopic wand thing is a complete waste of time. It is too short and flimsy to perform its intended function. I just use a broom handle instead.
What we liked: the zip extends roughly two thirds of the cover and is weather recessed. The cover material is thick and multi layered, rain runs off. The clever top vent helps to control mould and aerates the folded parasol. The supplied extending rod makes it a doddle to push over the top of the parasol and finally the quoted sizes are spot on. The only negative thing is we would have preferred a lighter colour.
Excellent long lasting protectio
Bought 2 years ago and it is still like new. Has really protected the parasol from the worst of British summers and winters. Really very impressed. Can buy a little hard to get on and off, but nothing too taxing (unless you are short I guess)
Great Quality & Looks Grea
This cover is a great thickness being 600D. It is very sturdy and looks great. It arrived in less than 24 hours. I also purchased another style of Dokon Parasol Cover which is the same high quality. Would reccommend.
Good quality
Very good quality product keeps the parasol dry when the weather isn’t great. It’s very durable definitely happy it comes with the extension pool to help put it on and off as I’m not very tall so it does take me a while. Definitely recommend product great value for money
4.0 out of 5 stars Very nice
Perfect if you have a larger than normal banana parasol. The stick is just a gimic and useless.
Like another reviewer, I have a 2.7m parasol which I did measure the area of, and thought I might just manage to get by with the 140cm version, as I didn’t want lots of spare fabric. Unfortunately the measurement they’ve provided is not the usable space and does not allow for the seams and the toggles on the product which account for approx 6cm of that space, so if like me you think you can squeeze it in (I hoped since my parasol is not as wide as the allowed width measurement I might be able to gain an extra few cm in length from spare space at the top to pull down the sides) you may be wrong – Note that the top is a squared off seam, and will not allow for any extra space to be gained by pulling down the top section of unused fabric. I’m ordering the 175cm version now (since the 170cm model seems to be for a wider parasol). The cover seems ok otherwise, with mesh vents at the top. Zip feels a bit cheap but works fine and the fabric feels pretty strong. Not tested the telescopic pole to apply it so cannot comment on that, and not used it outside yet either. Hope this helps someone else in ordering the right size first time!
Perfec
So lasted all of last years hot weather, and so far standing well during this hot weather. It has not bleached yet have seen other covers bleach really quick. This hasn’t. Looks as good as the day it was bought.
Great quality cove
Fits perfectly on the umbrella, very long zip which makes it easy to fit too. Seems to be completely waterproof which is great to keep the umbrella in great condition.
This cover is the perfect fit for my 8ft tall parasol that opens to 6 metres by 3 metres. It even has a telescopic rod included to hook the cover over the top of the parasol .
Having used the cover for a few weeks the only negative is that the telescopic rod provided that you can use to hook the cover over the top of the parasol doesn’t lock into the extended position so as you try to hook the cover over your parasol it starts collapsing into the closed position . I just use a plastic support cane I had i the shed
Good quality cove
I purchased this cover for my cantilever parasol , and I’m very pleased with the quality of the fabric , it’s seems very robust. The only thing is the metal wand to lift the cover over the parasol broke on first use . Now we use a wooden stick as you can’t put the cover over it unless you have steps to hand . But apart from that it’s a great cover .
5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent purchase
Good quality, far better than any other covers I’ve bought in the past. Highly recommend & a good price!
looks good to me
Quite difficult to comment on durability and level of weather resistance, but on the face of it, it looks well made. No instructions on how to use the pole to put the cover on and I found this a bit awkward. In the end I managed it by putting the pole in the seam rather than right inside the cover though I’m not sure whether this was correct or whether it may damage the material in due course. In fairness it was a fairly breezy day so in lighter winds it might have worked better. The pole is also quite thin and because the cover is quite heavy as it seems to be good quality, I was a little afraid that it might snap, so durability of that item is perhaps questionable. Without such a device you would need to use a steplatter to place the cover, so it is an essential item.
Bought the 265 high one. Fits my purple leaf 2.5m sq cantilever parasol perfectly. Hope this helps. The description is accurate. Quality seems good.
5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent produc
This very good quality and fits perfectly. Very please with the purchase and would highly recommend.
Perfect!!
Cover is very thick & well made was easy to put on with the pole & fits nicely & we have just had a heavy down pour & it’s all nice & dry. Highly recommend
5.0 out of 5 stars Fabulous cove
A good quality cover it covers the large parasol top to bottom also a very handy extension rod for putting the cover over the parasol.
5.0 out of 5 stars Just the job
Good quality cover can be difficult to put on due to the height with the supplied rod, but we just use the sweeping brush handle instead.
Great parasol cove
I wasn’t expecting a lot at this price point but I was very pleasantly surprised, good quality material and design. There’s a long zip on the side to make it easier to place over your parasol and around the bottom is a cord for you to pull tight so it doesn’t rise up in the wind. Near the top above the zip is a flap with mesh for ventilation to allow any moisture to escape. The shape of the design allows the cover to fit perfectly over a cantilever parasols arm and canopy etc, very happy with it and would recommend to anyone.
