Had bought slightly cheaper option. The other one was smaller than spec’d and flimsy material.
This cover came in a much larger packet, which says it all. 50% more cost – umpteen times better quality.
Brilliant fit for cantilever umbrella
Just the right fit for our cantilever umbrella. We knew the quality was good as already have cover for sofas and dining table. Waterproof even during heavy rain and has air pockets to prevent mould.
Good Cove
The cover is a great size in both width and height. I have a huge cantilever parasol which is about 10ft tall and around 2ft wide and the cover fitted over everything including the winding mechanism perfectly. It is fiddly to get the cover to the top but the telescopic wand definitely helps. It feels nice and secure once on due to the zipper down to the bottom and the drawstring at the bottom. I have only just purchased this so I don’t know what the durability will be yet.

Very good materials. fits lovely
This arrived today. It’s a good quality material, and it seems to be well made. We have a 3m round Kettler parasol. Once on the umbrella, it covers well, and comes about a foot below the umbrella itself. It has a drawstring at the bottom.
The let down is that yes, it comes with a nice rod to help you raise it up over the top of the umbrella. My husband is 6′, and didn’t quite have sufficient reach using the tool at full stretch!! The issue is that the zip stops about a foot from the top of the cover, so you have to lift it up that bit extra to get it over the top. What it needs is a full length zip, and a rod with a hook on it that goes through the zip eye. Then it would get 5 stars. As for us, and many others I suspect, we’ll have to stand on a chair which is such a shame..

The order was packed well and came on time. The cover is of a good quality and although it has not been tested in the rain yet we tested it with water and it certainly was water proof. It was much easer put on than our last one due to the additional extendable pole. I would highly recommend
Good quality, fabric a reasonable thickness
Having previously purchased and returned a thinner (420D) Doken parasol cover, this 600D version is a vast improvement. Much thicker fabric which I hope will be durable and not rip. Time will tell.

Very good quality. Fits well and also comes with a telescopic handheld pole so you can lift it over the top of the cantilever parasol. The telescopic pole helps to put on and off the cover. Well worth the money paid.
Difficult to put on and take off.
It is made of good quality material that looks robust enough to withstand the harsh winter months. I thought the radio aerial supplied was a joke. It is supposedly to be used to assist lifting it up to the required height to thread it over the top of your folded up parasol. It is neither long enough or robust enough to deal with that task. In my opinion it is not fit for that purpose. In the end, being 5’7 inches tall I had to join together 2 broom handles to make a rod long enough and robust enough to make using it easy..

Its taken a while to write this review as its been summer and therefore not had an opportunity to try it out until now but this morning my husband and I reluctantly decided to put the garden furniture away for the winter and covering our large cantilever umbrella is the job we dread most but this was so easy to do, I was almost able to do it myself without help and even better, it actually fitted over the entire thing, including the mechanism! We won’t know about durability and waterproofness for a while but so far we are really pleased with our purchase and would definitely recomnend it especially to the more older and/or height challenged persons!

We live in a windy area so need to cover umbrella. So far haven’t had to use in rain, but seems very sturdy. The telescopic stick certainly helped to put it up, but not something you’d want to do everyday. So far weather has been good and haven’t had to use it but will certainly use it for winter.

So far the cover is good. It’s durable and water proof. I had an issue with the stick where it snapped as I was removing the cover from the parasol. Not a problem though as they sent a replacement straight away. Good service all round.

Very please with the cover but please can you tell me how do you attach the rod for stability.
Over all very pleased but theres no where or way i can attach the rod sent with it for satblelisation the rod is just like an aerial with nothing to enable you to attach it the cover and there nothing on the cover either.

Got this cover as I don’t want to keep taking the parasol from the frame. It’s very good quality. It’s quite thick and I do struggle to put it on. I think I could’ve got away with the smaller size as it’s very long.
Quality Parasol Cove
Bought this for our cantilevered parasol. Fits like a glove and actually looks like it was designed for our parasol. Sturdy material, with an air vent to prevent the wind getting inside and lifting it off. Secures nicely with a zip and a drawstring at the bottom. Also comes with a really nice telescopic tool to enable you to life it up onto the parasol (ours is over two metres high), and also to lift it off to remove it. Top quality. Very happy.

Material seems very good quality and value for money. extension rod really helps to put cover on- fits perfectly! We’ve had some rain since we purchased and has worked well. Hopefully it will hold up well in really bad weather- we have a similar material cover for our sofa set which is excellent and this looks same. Make sure you measure properly and select closest size.
Good quality cove
This is a great quality cover – my banana parasol is 2.5metres and this fits great. It covers right down to the floor and has toggles for a good secure fit. Nice strong material as well. I’m glad I spent a little extra for this – after all, you do have to look at the cover, quite alot with the uk weather so a good fit is paramount in my opinio
Heavy duty material
This seems to be made of very substantial material. It is too long which doesn’t look tidy and the wand is just not long enough. I stood on a chair and still struggled to use the wand to get it over the top. I think the quality is good though
Great quality
Purchased to cover our cantilever parasol. Fits perfectly, really good quality material. Only gripe is the extendable stick that they provide to help you put it on/take it off could be slightly longer as I still need to stand on a stool to use it (I’m 180cm tall so not exactly short). Other than that I’d definitely recommend it.

Extremely well made
Good thick fabric, well made and strong. Has an extendable wand to aid fitting and removal. Good strong zip and drawstring bottom. Very wide so though so we have tied round it to stop it flapping, well recommended.
Practise needed to use this 3m cover.
When not mounted on its base the parasol fits easily inside this cover. Can be difficult to use this cover over 3m parasol. Practise is needed to work out the easiest way to put this cover over an assembled 3m parasol. I use 2-treaded steps to reach the cover over the top of the parasol by hand.
When in use the cover is waterproof and windproof thanks to a drawstring at its base. The cover protects the parasol from dust and fading.
I recommend this parasol cover.
Beautifully made cover-
This fitted really well over a large cantilever parasol and the feel is really impressive. Not sure how it will work when I stick a table under the canopy but for now it really is sheer quality. It looks like one of those pennants you get at grands prix, with its sail-shape. Not sure what the flap at the top is for. Highly recommended, so far anyway, out of the box.

Quality fabric cove
Not a cheaper plastic sheet. For the same money, a proper woven fabric, which should see me through another year covering an oddly shaped cantilever frame and 3m square umbrella.
Quality and fi
A lot thicker quality than the cover that came with the parasol, time will tell on its durability. Item is a close fit. Our parasol has an elbow type frame and initially when zipping the cover up we found it didn’t fit. What you have to do is to pull the cover up a little and kink the shape, then the zip works. After that you’ll see that it’s a snug fit and it won’t get blown off by the wind.

Does the job of covering our parasol. Is actually a bit too long but that doesn’t stop it working well. Feels durable and looks good after a couple of winters.

It is huge. I didn’t realise it was so much bigger than the last one I bought. I had to use it as it was raining and old cover had split.

This was a replacement for a much flimsier nylon cover bought a few years ago which had faded and ripped in the windy, cold winter. This is a much thicker, better quality material and comes with a telescopic wand to help you fit it over the top of your parasol.
First impressions are that this will last a lot longer than its’ predecessor and won’t be flapping about so much in the wind as it is a heavier weight fabric. It also comes with a nice little case for storage in the summer months.
It was about 20cm too long for my standard size banana parasol but I can put up with that as it was the smallest i could find.

After reading some of the negative feedback, I thought the material would be a lot less quality that what I have received. I’m really happy with it and the length is perfect. Would definitely recommend this product.
Great Quality & Easy to Put On.
This parasol cover is easier to put on than others I’ve owned, & is made of great quality, heavy duty material. It’s already withstood heavy rain and strong winds. It’s a bit too long for my parasol, but I’ve folded it under, & secured with a bungee. I have an older Dokon cover on another parasol, & it’s in great condition after a year’s use. I’ve since bought a bench cover, of the same material (also Dokon), so I’m obviously a fan!

Are you fed up with adverts suggesting that their banana umbrella covers are heavy duty & when you receive them, their made from thin material which you know will not last. Well not this one, this is a heavy duty cover that I’m sure will last the weather elements. Easy to pop over your umbrella as it comes with a telescopic wand, which when extended enables you to lift the cover over the top of your umbrella with ease!

Awesome umbrella cover , it comes with a extendable stick to use to put the cover over which is fabulously useful , because unless you are 9 ft tall it’s the only thing that will get the cover on over these style umbrellas .

Before I purchased this item I did look at the reviews. There were negative reviews of (1) poor quality material, (2) poor stitching, (3) too long to fit parasol, (4) rod no good. My views on each of these are (1) great thick quality material, (2) stitching absolutely fine, (3) Yes it was also too long for my parasol but I knew this would be the case, I simply pull the tighten cord, then tuck it under at the bottom before applying my own elastic cord at the bottom to fix it in place (No Problem!), (4) Didn’t bother using the rod, just used my step ladders as always!
DOES NOT FADE!
I am writing this review after using this cover for nearly a year and a half.
The quality of the material is top notch absolutely no signs of fading due to sunlight, unlike other garden covers we have.
As it is so large to cover a big parasol I use a small bungee around the bottom to ensure it never gets blown off.
Will definitely be buying more products from this manufacturer

It protects the parasol from the harsh rains we have just had, and when ready to use Just unzip and push up with the extendable rod and away you go, no need to keep taking it down and putting it away, mine will be staying out all year.
Pole is sho
The product itself is good quality and fits well. The retractable pole supplied with it is nowhere near long enough to fit the cover over the sun shade. It needs to be three times as long.

Tried a slightly cheaper option that was rubbish. Paid a few quid extra for this one and the contrast is unbelievable. The material is very sturdy, the quality is exceptional and it fits my 3 metre cantilever parasol from top to bottom. When I buy another cover for any outdoor equipment I will be comparing the material to this. Its strong, sturdy and durable. Totally rainproof and I have no doubt that it will provide perfect protection over the winter.

Seems a good product but I guess only time will tell. The parasol was dry this morning after thunderstorms last night and torrential rain, so a good start! I’m 5 feet 6 and the contraction rod isn’t the best for lifting over the top but we managed. Probably easier to get a stool to stand on or something.

This cover works really well. The material is high quality and comes in well presented packaging. The little extending rod does help fit the cover but not sure how long it will last.
Best Parasol
This is a great parasol cover, it is really long so covered all of the parasol, which I was so happy about. The quality is really nice and thick. I would highly recommend this parasol cover. Also their customer service was excellent! And answered my questions in a matter of a few hours.
The fact that this is 600D Oxford Fabric as opposed to 210D or anything else makes all the difference. The price is more than competitive when you take the quality of the fabric into consideration. It’s not every day that you will purchase a parasol cover so make sure you get one that’s going to protect your parasol when your not using it. I purchased and returned two before I managed to get this one. I knew a heavier fabric existed because I have a garden heater cover in the same fabric which is fantastic.

I received this before the date stated, very good service. It is very good material and very sturdy. It is bigger than I expected and fits my parasol very comfortably and having the telescopic stick also means you don’t have to stand on ladders to put it on. Comes in a very handy bag of the same sturdy material for when you not using it. I’m very impressed.

Thick and heavy parasol cover. Perfectly fits my new cantilever umbrella and the quality looks and feels great. I’m really pleased with it. And regardless of people saying it doesn’t come with a pole, it actually does come with a retractable one, plus comes in a sturdy little bag for storage when not using it.
A good cove
We’ve bought several parasol covers over the years, and most fail over winter when the parasol breaks through the top as the material perishes.
But this cover has been good – it’s survived all the winter cold and wind, although I did have to tie some string around it to stop it flapping in the seriously heavy winds this year.
I’d certainly buy another – but I don’t think I’ll need to do that for quite some time!

Always buy them but over the winter they do fall apart hence buying another one. Thankfully I had a spare at the time of Storm Barbara.
Excellent quality for the price
Bought this cover to replace another cover I bought from amazon. The previous cover lasted years despite being in direct sunlight in a south facing garden all summer and ta was ing the worst winter could throw at it. This cover feels and looks even better than my previous cover. I am confident of this cover performing better than my last cover.
A must buy
Excellent product, after wasting money on cheaper items that didn’t withstand a strong breeze I trusted other reviews and bought this product. Fantastic quality, reaches to the base of the stand and as an added bonus comes with an extension stick to get it over the top of the stand. Genius!! I usually need to ask my neighbours to help.

As seen in pictures we needed a cover that was very large as the parasol is double market size. Fits with room to spare. The material is top notch. Doesn’t fit our parasol
Although it was the suggested item to go with the parasol we purchased it doesn’t fit properly and doesn’t zip up completely. The item itself is well made and good quality but not really fit for purpose.
Good cove
We use this cover on our cantilever garden umbrella, the telescopic pole that came with the cover is very useful however I still need steps to fit the cover over the top of the umbrella. The cover fits very well and ties around the bottom securely to prevent wind getting inside the cover. I can’t comment on durability as I haven’t had the cover for very long but the zip and material seem good quality.
Easy to use
When I bought my 3m parasol I also got a cover which is just like a large bag, not very durable and flaps in the wind.
Bought this as a replacemet and it is of better quality, has a zip on one edge making it easier to get over the top.

Design could be improved to an otherwise well made umbrella cove
The cover is made from a very waterproof material that should provide protection for several years. My only issue and why it did not get a higher rating, is the short length of zip makes it very difficult to get on and off the umbrella, as you need a long pole to lift it over the top of the umbrella as the zip is too low down and not long enough.
Does the job
It’s now been tested in the rain and wind due to our glorious weather! I have a large cantilever parasol to cover. Held up well so good material and well made. I wish it had come in different sizes as this is really big and very long so it bundles on the floor. I would recommend because it’s good quality and looks smart apart from gathering at the bottom

Seems good quality and fit for purpose,cover fitted a large cantilever parasol, and is being used in Spain in the Spanish sun so only time will tell re durability.
Only downside at the moment is the zip doesn’t go to the top of the cover so fitting it on a 10 ft high parasol was a little tricky.
I recently lost my parasol cover during some high winds, I quickly needed a replacement. This one fits the bill, it is large enough to enable ease of fitting over my umbrella, to help with fitting there is a long zip at the bottom along with a cord tie to draw it in at the bottom. The material appears to be robust and waterproof. It comes folded in a small nylon bag so that you can store the cover once removed in the summer. Pleased with my purchase. Delivery was overnight from placing my order on Amazon. Good service.
This product exceeded my expectations. Its fantastic quality, even the zip is sturdy, the material is thick and definitely waterproof which we need here in the West of Scotland!! There were a few comments saying it was too long but it was fine for my large cantilever parasol – I have nothing negative to say about it at all and have recommended to my neighbours (who were admiring it) and my family. We spent a ‘lot’ of money in our garden last year and it doesn’t look out of place. DEFINATELY GET YOURSELVES ONE!!!
Brilliant cover does the job well
Very impressed with this tough cover. It’s relatively easy to put on even for my little short arse. The zip and toggle mean you can make it snug to the base of the umbrella and it doesn’t blow off in the wind…and it gets very windy where I am. The fabric seems to have weathered this year’s long spells of hot sunshine without fading which I am super impressed with given our much more expensive outdoor furniture covers are now varying shades of anything other than the black they started out as.
Well worth the money ……. unlike the absolutely crap umbrella which looked amazing but in really broke the 4th time of using. Yeah. NOT impressed with that one!
Great parasol cove
This arrived quickly and we are very happy with it. It covers our cantilever parasol from top to the bottom of the pole at the base. There appears to be plenty of room inside when zipped to accommodate various widths of parasols. It seems to be good quality and is easy to put on and zip up. It hasn’t been tested through a winter yet so will have to wait and see how the parasol survives. It also hasn’t been tested in high winds as it does look a bit like a sail but it does zip right to the bottom and tie so should stay put on windy days. So far very pleased with the purchase.
